Chapter seven
Tis the season
December had finally rolled around, with bare trees and a cold frost in the air. Piper had recently decided it was about time to get some family pictures taken seeing as Chris had been just a baby and Wyatt not even two yet when the last one was taken, and Piper had realized she and her sisters had never had a professional photo taken of them together. With Wyatt being almost four and Chris having just turned two, Piper was right when she had said it was about time.
Leo, Piper and their boys awaited outside "picture perfect." Wyatt was throwing a fit because he was cold and Chris was crying for the same reason. Passing strangers eyed the boys disapprovingly for how they were behaving and then shook their heads at the parents. "That's it!" Piper stated. "Knock it off! You are not going to freeze to death and it is not that cold!" Their mother's words had no effect on the boys, so Leo stepped in. "Nothing is going to get done with the boys being in bad moods. I'll take them inside while you wait out here for your sisters." Piper looked at her boys with an irritated expression. "Fine, but don't let them take their coats off or they'll dirty their clothes." "How would they-" "Oh they'd find a way." Leo nodded and took the boy's hands. He led them inside the building.
"Sorry we're late," Paige shouted out as she and Henry sprinted down the sidewalk. "Car broke down. We had to wait a good ten minutes for the tow truck," Henry explained. "Okay, but why didn't you just orb here?" Paige looked at her husband and then back at her sister. "Someone didn't want to risk us being seen." It was silent for a moment as Piper glanced down at her sister's baby bump. Paige was only in her fourth month of pregnancy but was as big as she was and she was Six months along. In fact, Paige had started showing the previous month while still in her first trimester. "Have you been to the doctor yet?" "I'm going to head inside," Henry decided. He made his quick get away. "Would you stop pestering me! Everything has been fine so far." Piper looked at her sister's stomach again. "Are you saying I'm too fat?" Paige asked, the annoyance in her voice was clear. "No, well, you have to admit, you are a little big for being only four months along." Paige shrugged. "Maybe I'm further along than I thought." This annoyed PIper. "Which you would know if you had gone to the doctor!" Paige crossed her arms and was about to say something when Phoebe beat her to it. "What's this about?" The sisters turned to her. She had just parked her car on the side of the road and was standing next to Coop.
"Piper keeps pestering me about not seeing a doctor."
"Because it's idiotic not to. She's pregnant and doesn't even know how far along she is. Phoebe, you'd see a doctor regularly if you were pregnant, right?"
"If I was lucky enough to be pregnant well then, you know what, I don't want to throw more fire into your argument."
"You'll get your chance, Phoebe," Piper ensured her.
"Yea, I know."
"Okay, let's all calm down and head in. We don't need people taking pictures together when mad at each other," Coop advised.
Piper, Phoebe, Paige, and Coop walked in and Piper was relieved to see that her sons were in a much better mood. Wyatt and Chris were seated upon some chairs in the waiting room happily making goofy faces at each other in hopes the other would laugh. Since the boys found everything funny, they laughed each time. Leo was in conversation with Henry nearby. There was another family there as well, two women and two young girls, about six and nine." Piper and those she had just come in with found their seats and it was only a moment later when the photographer followed a man and woman out of the picture room into the waiting room. The man and women, who looked to be in their fifties, exited the store. The photographer looked at the others who were waiting. "Let's start with the smaller group." The two women and two girls followed him into the picture room.
"Leo, I thought I told you their coats were to stay on," Piper recalled.
"The boys wanted them off and had just settled down. I wasn't about to cause another tantrum from them."
"Their outfits-"
"Are perfectly fine."
Piper decided to drop it as the boys were being relatively quiet and well-behaved. A tantrum right before a picture was the last thing anyone wanted. It was hard enough getting a small child to stay still for a nice picture to be taken of them. Piper looked down at wristwatch to check the time. It was still early enough but she hoped the photos would be done before Billie finished her exam. She didn't like the idea of leaving her alone in the manor and it didn't feel right including her in the family pictures. Beside her, Phoebe was fixing her makeup using a hand mirror to see what she was doing. Paige sat between Coop and Henry. She was rubbing her baby bump as she pondered over if her sister was right about the whole doctor thing. She was starting to notice she was bigger than average for being this early in the second trimester. Piper had been tiny at that stage. Leo was thinking about an exciting upcoming doctor's appointment as it was the big gender reveal appointment. Henry was thinking about this particular stubborn parolee and trying to figure out a better method at dealing with him. Coop, as usual, was thinking about love. Wyatt was telling his brother the story about time he brought a dragon to life. His parents didn't care if Wyatt talked about magic in public as anyone listening would rule it off as a cute creative kid with a big imagination.
The two women and two girls left. The photographer came out. A new family had come, again one much smaller than the Halliwells. "Alright, you guys have been waiting so come on in." The adults rose up from their chairs. The boys watched them and then copied them by getting up themselves. Leo took their hands and the group followed the photographer into the picture room which was just an empty room with a small two-step bench, and a camera. The back wall painted white for the background of the photos. "So, we'd like one of all of us, then the couples, one with just my husband and our boys, one with just me and the boys, one of just two little ones, and one picture of each child alone, and of course one of my husband and I with the boys. Then one with just us girls, and finally one with the adult guys. Oh, and some baby bump pictures of me and her," Piper instructed. The photographer nodded. "Wow, I'm impressed you followed all that," Piper said. "You're not my first big family." The photographer looked at them for a brief second as he decided on what order to complete the photos. "Well, I always find it best to start with the pictures children are going to be in. Kids tend to get bored and frustrated with photo taking easily. So, why don't we start with this little man."
Leo led Wyatt over to the bench and kneeled down in front of him. "All you have to do is sit here, look at the camera and do what he says. Make sure you smile for the picture." Wyatt nodded to his dad and Leo walked away. Wyatt seated himself down on the stool. The photographer walked up to him. "Can you put this foot up on the bottom step." Wyatt nodded and placed his left foot on the bottom step of the bench. "Awesome, now can you put this hand on your knee?" Wyatt rested his left hand on his knee. "That's great, what do you think dad?" "You look so handsome," Leo replied. Wyatt smiled at the compliment. "What a great smile, can you smile like that when I take the picture?" Wyatt nodded in response. "Okay, last thing you need to do before I take the picture is you need to put this hand on this leg." Wyatt placed his right hand on his right thigh. The photographer walked to the back of the cameron and kneeled down. "Okay, big smile." Wyatt put on his best smile and with a click the picture was taken, and a few extras just to be safe. "Good job buddy, you did great. Can you go stand over there with your parents? You'll get to come back in a few minutes." Wyatt nodded, jumped down from the bench and ran to his mother. He wrapped his arms around her leg.
"Who is this little guy?" Chris looked up at him with a big smile. "This is Chris," Leo answered. "Hi Chris. Can you go sit on that bench for me?" Chris was hesitant. "It's okay, Chris. It's fun," Wyatt ensured him. Chris shook his head nervously. "Okay, what if your big brother goes with you?" Chris looked at Wyatt as he thought it over. He nodded his head. The photographer removed the bench, left it on the side of the room. He adjusted his camera. He then led the boys over to the spot the bench had been in. "Okay, I need you to sit on the floor and spread your legs, can you do that?" Wyatt nodded, sat down facing the camera and spread his little legs. The photographer then seated Chris between Wyatt's legs. "Great, now I need you to give your brother a big hug and don't stop until I tell you too." Wyatt nodded and wrapped his arms around his brother causing Chris to smile. The photographer walked over to the camera. "Okay, look at the camera and give me big smiles." Once the boys were facing the right away and both smiling, the picture was taken and a few extras in case the first didn't turn out good. "That was perfect guys. I think the camera likes you." This made their smiles even bigger.
"Okay, Chris are you ready to take a picture by yourself?" Chris shook his head. "It's' really fun, I promise," Wyatt told him. This time, Chris believed his brother. "Okay." "Wyatt, come back over here," Leo called out. Wyatt nodded and went back to his parents leaving Chris on his own. "Chris, would you like to stand up for your picture or sit on the bench?" The photographer could tell Chris was still nervous and wanted to make him feel more comfortable. "Like Wyatt," Chris replied. "Like Wyatt?" Chris nodded. The photographer nodded and brought back the bench. He positioned it and then helped Chris onto it. He positioned him so his bottom was on the top step, his legs were apart leaving a gap and both feet on the bottom step, placed his left hand on his left knee and his right hand on top of his left hand. He walked back to the camera and adjusted the height. "Okay, Chris, can you give me a big smile?" Chris put on his best smile and few pictures were taken. "Awesome job. These are going to look great."
"You boys are doing so well and you're almost done." He placed Chris standing up on the second step, and placed Wyatt standing up on the top step. "Dad, you stand behind them but slightly to your left so you're not blocked out." Leo nodded and positioned himself as instructed. "Okay, I want to see those big smiles. Ready? One, two, three." Smiles happened, pictures were taken. "Okay great, dad walk away, you two hop down." The photographer removed the bench once again. "Mom, stand right here," he instructed, pointing to a spot. He then put two small low benches on either side of her. "Wyatt, I want you to stand on this bench, and Chris on this bench." Wyatt stood himself on the bench on his mother's right, and Chris on his mother's left. "Great, mom, lean the boys into you and put a hand on their shoulders." Piper did as instructed. Smiles formed, pictures taken. "Okay, help the boys down."
The photographer removed the benches. "Okay mom stand right here to your side so we can see your bump nicely." Piper did as instructed. "Great, dad, hold Chris with your right arm and stand next to your wife. Leo lifted his toddler up and positioned himself next to his wife. The photographer examined them and then put one of the small benches in front of Leo and Piper. "I change my mind, mom face me and put your left hand on your stomach. Piper nodded and fixed her positioning. "Wyatt can you stand on that little bench and hold mommy and daddy's hands?" Wyatt nodded and did just that. "Perfect, hmm, no, mom turn back to the way you were before and place your right hand on Wyatt's shoulder and your left hand can stay on your stomach." Piper nodded and re-positioned herself again. The photographer shook his head again. "Everyone step away." The little family all walked off to the side. Piper's sisters and their husbands stood in the back of the room watching. "Right, dad, stand here and hold Chris in your left arm. Leo nodded, shifted Chris over to his left side and positioned himself in front of the camera. "Mom, you're going to lean into your husband, I need you're left sides facing me more. Yep, like that, great." "Dad, wrap your right arm around your wife's stomach so that your right hand is placed on her bump." Leo did just that. "Okay, now Wyatt, I need you to stand right in front of Chris, can you do that. Beside mommy, and in front of your brother." Wyatt nodded and positioned himself. "Okay, everyone look at me and smile, big smiles." Smiles formed pictures taken."
"Okay, boys, you are all done for now, Dad you can walk off with them, mom I'm going to have you stay. You miss, come join her." Paige nodded and joined her sister. "Can I get your names, it'll be easier if I know them?" "Piper." "Paige." "My husband is Leo, her husband is Henry, and those two back there are Phoebe and Coop." The photographer nodded. "Okay great. Are you two sisters?" Both Piper and Paige nodded. "Okay, so one idea is I have a blackboard. We can write future cousins on the top and then your due dates on the sides at the bottom. How does that sound?" "I love that," Paige agreed. Piper thought it over. "Yea, that's cute." The Photographer nodded. He left the room and returned just a minute later with the small blackboard and a piece of white chalk. "Piper I'd like you to stand here, you're right side showing, Paige the opposite." The ladies nodded and positioned themselves. "Great, I just need the due dates." "March second," Piper shared. Silence. "Um, I'm not sure, sometime in May?" The photographer looked confused because Paige did not look only four-months pregnant, but Paige seemed confident she was due in May, so he chose not to question her. "We'll just put due in March and due in May then." The sisters nodded. We wrote future cousins on the top in white chalk. Then on the right-side of the board in smaller letters, he wrote due and underneath that wrote in March. On the left side, he wrote due then underneath wrote in May. "Great, Piper I want you to hold this up with your left hand and Paige with your right. Hold it in between both of you." The sisters nodded and the photographer gave them the board. He walked over to the camera, waited for the smiles, and then the pictures were taken.
"Great, let's take the individual baby bump pictures next."
"Oh, that's okay, this one was fine. We're going to do the individual ones towards the ends of our pregnancies."
"Okay, no problem. You two stay there and we'll have um…"
"Phoebe," Phoebe reminded him.
"Right, Phoebe, come join."
"Are all three of you sisters?" The women nodded. "Perfect, and who's the middle child?" Phoebe raised her hand. "Ok, Phoebe, I need you to stand directly in front of the camera." Phoebe nodded and moved herself there. "Oldest on the right, youngest on the left." Piper moved herself over to Phoebe's right and Paige over to Phoebe's left. "Stand closer to each other." Piper and Paige both scooted over. "Phoebe, place one hand on their backs, Piper, Paige, lean in like you're having a group hug. There we go, okay then smile." Smiles were formed and pictures were taken.
"Great, can we get the boyfriends or husbands over here." Leo, Coop, and Henry walked over. "Okay we will start with Piper and Leo over here, the rest of you walk off to the side." Phoebe, Coop, Paige and Henry walked away as Piper and Leo stayed behind. "Great Piper I want you to stand facing the camera with a big beautiful smile. Leo get behind her and wrap your arms around chest loseley." Leo and Piper positioned themselves. "Great, Piper lookup, Leo look down so that you're both looking at each other." Pictures were taken. "Okay, you two can walk away. Phoebe you and your partner can come back over here." Phoebe and Coop walked over. "Okay, Sir, I want you to put her on your back, Phoebe place your arms around him." Pictures taken. "Now for you two," he said as Phoebe and Coop walked off and were replaced by Paige and Henry. "I want you to face each other. Paige wrap your hands around his neck, Sir, you wrap your arms around her waist, like you're slow dancing." He waited for them to do this. "Great, now, sir, tilt your head down slightly so that the top of your heads are touching and your noses touch as well. Okay, great, now look into each other's eyes." Pictures were taken.
"Okay, I need all the guys over here." Henry stayed behind as Paige walked away and he was joined by Leo and Coop. "Okay I want one of you in the middle with your arms crossed and your head tilted slightly to the left." Henry took this position. "Okay one of you on his right with your right hand in your pocket and left hand on his upper back." Leo took this position. "And you sir, go on Henry is it? Right, Go on Henry's left, you're right hand in your pocket, you're left elbow on his shoulder and hand just under your chin, right where the fingers start." Coop took that position. It took the sisters a minute to realize the men had positioned themselves in the order they got married. Leo and Piper married first, so Leo took the right side. Henry and Paige married second, and so Herny took the middle, and Coop and Phoebe married last, and so Coop took the left. They had agreed to do this but not tell their wives to see how long it'd take them to notice.
"Great, and now for the family picture."
After the pictures were developed, Piper had decided she wanted to go Christmas shopping. The rest of her family were tired and wanted to head home, all expect Wyatt and Chris. The boys loved going shopping with their mom but that didn't mean they were always well-behaved. Piper had also taken Billie along for backup. As soon as they reached the toy aisle, Wyatt ran over to a huge remote control car, Piper walked after him. Chris was in the cart orbing himself toys off the shelves. His mother nor Billie noticed and luckily no one else did either. "Wyatt, is that something you want to buy for your brother?" Piper asked her son. "No, I want this." Piper shook her head. "Please mommy?" "No, honey. We are buying presents for your aunties. You can get something for your brother if you want, for Christmas." Wyatt shook his head and threw the toy on the ground. He stomped his little foot. "Wyatt, knock that off." Wyatt started screaming and stomping his feet. "Billie, can you take Chris away from here so he doesn't start too?" Billie nodded and walked over to Chris, Wyatt's screams sounding from behind her. When she saw what Chris was doing, she rushed over. "No! No magic in the store." She collected the toys and began putting them back on the shelves, only to turn around and find Chris had orbed himself more. Billie removed him from the cart and walked away, hoping to distract him. She brought him over to the women's clothing section and began looking for a shirt for Paige or Phoebe while holding Chris in her arms.
A few minutes later, Piper found Billie. "Where's Wyatt?" Billie asked. "Where's the shopping cart?" Piper asked. Billie explained. "I don't know what we're going to do about him. He uses his powers all willy nilly and Leo usually won't let me scold him for it." She took in a deep breath to keep herself calm. "Wyatt orbed out. Don't worry we're used to this. Leo will find him or Paige will." Billie nodded and Chris reached out for his mother. Piper smiled at him Billie handed him over. "What are we going to do with you?" Piper asked her toddler. Chris laughed though he didn't know what he was laughing about.
It had been a long day and no one was complaining when it came to an end. They boys were already half asleep when Piper and Leo put them to bed and they were out like a light as soon as their heads touched their pillows. Leo and Piper had recently transitioned Chris from his crib to a toddler bed and it had not been easy. He still fought them on most nights, but on nights like this, he was too exhausted to even care where he was sleeping. Wyatt hadn't been any trouble when he had made the transition.
A couple of days had passed. Leo and Paige were at the maternity clinic in the waiting room. The room was filled with other pregnant women and a few husbands/boyfriends/fathers. Piper looked at some of the women sitting near her. They were huge like they were getting close to giving birth- definitely not Piper's favourite thing about pregnancy. She recalled her pregnancies with Wyatt and Chris and then remembered the horenduous events surrounding their births. This freaked her out and she shifted in her chair uncomfortable. When Wyatt was born, magic was gone, a demon pretending to date Piper's father was holding Piper hostage in her bedroom with plans on killing Piper and stealing Wyatt. Piper escaped but went into labor on the stairs. She ended up giving birth to Wyatt on her kitchen table, Phoebe delivered the baby, Paige helped out. Victor was next to her injured and Leo showed up after all that drama. Chris's birth, like Wyatt's, didn't go smoothly. The baby suffered from distress and had to be taken out immediately; during the birth, Piper lost a lot of blood and almost died, but the doctors saved her and Chris. Meanwhile, future Chris had died. He was killed by Gideon whilst protecting his brother Wyatt. These memories almost caused Piper to scream out loud. Leo looked at her and noticed her horrified expression.
"Honey? What's wrong?"
"This baby's birth is going to be a freaking nightmare."
"What?"
"Wyatt, Chris. Remember their births?"
"Oh, right. I'm sure this time will be different."
"It better be. At least one of our babies is coming out in a normal human way!"
After the clinic, Piper arrived at the mall and found Paige who stood in line to see Santa with Wyatt and Chris. "Thanks for bringing them. You can go if you want." Paige shook her head. "And miss them seeing Santa? No way!" Piper smiled at her sister warmly and waited in the line with them. Luckily, there was only one kid in front of them. That kid sat on Santa's lap, freaked out, and ran away crying. One of Santa's helpers then beckoned Chris forward but Chris wouldn't go without his brother. So Wyatt got to go at the same time. Santa's helper placed the boys on Santa's lap, Wyatt on the left and Chris on the right.
"Ho ho ho, merry Christmas! What are your names?" Santa asked.
"Wyatt!"
"Chris!"
"And have you been good little boys this year?"
Both of the boys nodded their heads. Piper begged to differ though after recent store events.
"And what would you like for Christmas?"
"The truck in the store," Wyatt answered. His mother was just about ready to strangle him. He had not shut up about the stupid truck she didn't buy for him.
"Well Santa will see what he can do. And how about you young man?" Chris didn't reply.
The week passed and Christmas Eve came. Piper had just finished summoning grams, Patty and Prue and everyone was talking in the living room. "What are we all talking about?" Pure asked as she sat down beside Piper on the couch. Patty beamed at her pregnant daughters. She was so excited to have new grandchildren. "Well Coop and I were just telling everyone that we have set a date for our honeymoon." Everyone looked in her direction. "So when will it be?" Patty asked. "Late February a little bit of March," Phoebe answered. She looked at Prue wondering if this is why she had told her to look forward to March. She didn't get an answer as Prue was watching the boys play. "Alright I'll make some hot chocolate, be right back," Piper said as she left the living room While Piper was tending to the hot chocolate, Leo turned on the CD player and Christmas carols started playing. The boys started dancing around with Billie and everyone had smiles on their faces. Piper entered the living room with the hot chocolate and served everyone a cup. Phoebe had to help Piper sit back down since her stomach was too big now and caused trouble like this.
After a while everyone just started singing along to the Christmas carols while they drank their hot chocolate. After everyone changed into PJ's the boys orbed down pillows and included everyone except Piper and Paige in a pillow fight. After everyone calmed down they watched some home movies of their childhood and the boys's infancy. Around eleven the boys were fast asleep on the floor, Billie and Piper were passed out on the couch and Phoebe was fighting to stay awake.
Paige orbed everyone asleep to bed and joined Piper in her room, Leo slept on the couch so that Paige could have a more comfortable spot to sleep since she was pregnant, but there wasn't all that much room for both Piper and Paige. Before going to bed Leo put all the presents under the tree. They boys only slept until 5 in the morning and then there was no going back when they knew Santa had come.
The boys were so excited they just orbed into the living room instead of running down the stairs like normal children. Of course Prue, grams and Patty had never gone to sleep since they were dead and they had actually made a bet on when the boys would come, Patty won the bet. The tired half asleep parents walked down the stairs and sat on the couch and just watched, while Piper made coffee and Prue video tapped the boy's ripping open their presents.
After a few sips of coffee, the adults were back to normal and joined the children on the floor opening their gifts. Billie was surprised but flattered when she found a few gifts with her name on them. Wyatt really loved his new cowboy hat and Chris never let go of his new teddy bear. After the gifts were opened, Wyatt had Paige read him and Chris one of their new books, "The ugly duckling."
While Paige read to the boys, Prue and Piper made breakfast, Leo Henry and Coop cleaned up all the wrapping paper. As soon as Piper announced breast was ready everyone literally ran into the kitchen, sat down at the table and dug into the food. It was like they hadn't eaten in thirty years.
"So Piper do you know if you're having a girl or a boy yet?" Patty asked
"Yes we do, we were waiting until today to tell everyone," Piper replied
Piper stood up and asked for everyone's attention. "Leo and I know the gender of our child." She paused and everyone in the room waited excitedly to hear the big reveal. Well, except Wyatt and Chris who were too busy playing with their new toys to even realize their mother was speaking. "Baby number three is a….BOY!" No one in the room seemed surprised. As Piper sat back down she said, "just kidding." Phoebe caught on first and let out a scream. "It's a girl!?" Piper nodded and everyone else caught on. The scream had caught Wyatt and Chris's attention but neither of them knew what was going on as everyone started hugging Piper and congratulating her and Leo. Still, they joined in on the hugs. Once everyone had calmed down, the boys went back to playing and the adults sat down.
"Paige, do you know what you're having yet?" Prue asked.
"Nope, no idea."
"You should really go to the doctor," Grams said.
"HA! Everyone agrees with me!" Piper shouted.
Having had enough Paige jumped up and tossed her bacon at her sister, hitting her right in the face. Piper stood up, took her French toast and threw it at Paige who orbed it away and accidently hit Phoebe. Paige threw her scrambled eggs at Piper who froze it and blew it up, and Phoebe threw bacon and Paige who accidently orbed it on Prue's chin. Prue used her powers to make Paige's glass of milk approach and spill on her. Paige then orbed away Prue's chair, making her fall on the got up and used her power to make Paige's fork jump out of her hand but accidently hit Phoebe on the nose with it. Phoebe threw her pancakes at Prue who used her powers to move it and it almost hit Piper who froze it just in time and helped Paige by making it hit Prue. It didn't take long for the boys to join in. Wyatt orbed his eggs on Piper's head, and Chris orbed his pancakes that were floating in syrup on Paige's head. Wyatt attempted to orb the pancakes onto Chris' head but he saw it coming and orbed out of his chair for a moment so the pancakes landed on the floor instead. After almost being hit in the head by French toast, grams looked at Patty who was laughing with the guys. Grams suddenly got up and shouted "Stop it children, clean this is up or you're going on a timeout that goes for the adult kids too! Ooh It's all fun and games until you hit the wrong person. Clean this up and act like adults!"
The adults cleaned up, and everyone took turns washing up in the bathroom. When they all returned to the table they silently ate what was left on their plates. Then grams ordered them to get dressed which they did. After getting dressed everyone sat down in the living room and watched the food fight because Leo had videotaped it. During the whole thing everyone, even grams was laughing historically.
After watching it at least seven times, Paige put on some home movies of her childhood. Piper enjoyed learning about Paige`s life when she was growing up. Patty also enjoyed it even though she had watched over Paige her entire life. Paige shared some of her favourite moments growing up, her trip to the zoo when she was 8, having tea parties with her mom when she was six.
They watched so many home movies that the next thing they knew was that it was three in the afternoon. So since they had run out of home movies anyways, they pulled out some board games from the attic and spent the next two hours with those. Prue rolled the dice and used her powers to move her piece across the board. Wyatt kept orbing everyone else's pieces back to start, so they put away the board games and played go fish instead.
Grams cooked supper and when everyone was seated and ready to eat it, grams made it very clear there would be no food fight. Everyone agreed and ate the only magic was when Wyatt orbed Grams' turkey onto his plate thinking she wouldn't notice. She did notice though and gave him a stern look, so he orbed it back onto her plate and Piper did her best not to laugh.
After supper the Christmas carols went back on and everyone who could move easily and danced as they sang along. That evening Prue took a picture of her and the family and after tucking in the boys she said her goodbyes.
"I had fun, I'll see you on New year's, take care and loosen up on Billie, let the girl breath ok" Prue said as she hugged her sisters
"By my daughters I love you, see you soon" Patty said as she hugged them
"Bye girls, behave and act your age" Grams said as she gave them a third hug.
"I didn't mean your honeymoon," Prue whispered into Phoebe's ear.
"Go to the doctor, Paige. Trust me, you want to," Patty whispered in her daughter's ear. It sounded like she knew something but didn't say anything more.
Then in a sparkle of white light, Grams, Patty and Prue turned back into ghosts and disappeared.
After saying bye, Phoebe, Paige, Henry and Coop went back to their home. Leo and Piper cleaned up in the living room and was to put away all the home movies when Piper changed her mind. She told Leo she'd be in bed soon and when he left, Piper put the home movie of their food fight on the TV and watched what had started as a fight but had quickly turned into the best part of her favourite Christmas.
(This is the last chapter but don't worry I'm continuing. Stayed tuned for Charmed: Rasing the next generation, the old chaos, and the new chaos.
