Chapter 7: Help
"SOKKA! SUKI!" Katara yelled as she busted in the room awakening the couple from their slumber. "AANG AND TOPH ARE GONE!" She says with tears in her eyes.
"Whoa, calm down, Where are they?" Sokka asked.
"I don't know, I went to check on Aang and-"
"Katara! We'll find them, don't worry. Aang is the Avatar and Toph is a great earthbender. They're probably safe." Sokka says.
"Yeah Katara we'll find them." Suki says.
"You're right..I'm losing my mind." Katara says, one hand on her head.
"Yes you are." Sokka says. Suki gives him the don't-talk-at-all look which for sure, shuts him up. The three get their weapons and head out into the forest.
Meanwhile, Aang and Toph are still in the prison. Toph picking her nose. Aang struggling to stay awake. "How much longer do you think it will be?" Aang asks.
"How am I supposed to know?" Toph says annoyed.
"You sound tired."
"Do I?" Aang questions.
"Yeah I guess.." Toph says confused.
"Well maybe I could have gotten more rest if you didn't threaten me." Aang said.
"I TOLD YOU! UGH nevermind, can you just sleep so I can get some peace?" Toph asks non- politely.
Aang lowers his head till it touches the ground and closes his eyes and drifts off into dreamland.
Katara, Suki, and Sokka are running in the forest till Sokka stops and sees some ropes and arrows lying around. "Hey, maybe they were here." Sokka says smartly.
"Look, footprints!" Suki says pointing at marks on the ground.
They follow the prints till they find the campsite full of men in armor. The men look at the group of outsiders for a bit then yell "ATTACK!"
The men rush at the kids with arrows that they physically block. Katara takes a huge wave of water turning it into spikes and crashing it on a few of the soldiers. Sokka doges all of the arrows and swings his boomerang, crashing 5 helmets causing the men to fall.
"Suki! Go get Zuko! He'll calm these soldiers down." Katara yells, still fighting.
Suki nods and runs off. Katara throws more icicles at the soldiers blocking every arrow being thrown. Suddenly a large fire ball lands on the ground beside Katara startling her. When she looked behind her, the soldiers came up behind her and handcuffed her. Sokka swings his sword at them but the soldier just knocks it away. Both of them handcuffed the soldiers and throws them in the prison where Aang and Toph were. They sit in silence till Katara breaks it.
"What are you guys doing here?" Katara asks.
"It's hard to explain.." Toph says.
Meanwhile Aang is in his Dream talking to this mysterious voice.
"I did what I had to do!"
"By tying someone to a tree?"
"Well, what did you say I should do? NOTHING! I actually wanted your advice and you didn't answer!"
"I said you would have to do this alone. You can't sit around waiting for me to help you, Because I won't."
"Then why are you here?!"
"I'm here to guide you, to help you go the right way."
"Oh, by crashing me?"
"Aang you have to understand, Some things you just have to do on your own."
Suddenly everything goes dark and Aang instantly awakens. "Toph, I had the strangest dream-... How did they get here?" He asks.
"They came to help but got captured themselves." Toph explains.
All eyes on Aang. Angry ones from Katara, Disappointed ones from Sokka, and confused on his own face. "They wouldn't possibly know about-"
"Save your breath Twinkle toes, I told them everything" Toph tells him.
All eyes Aang. "Oh no.." he whispers.
