I would like to thank everyone who has reviewed and followed so far. To the guest that wanted to see a therapy session here it is. Next up we see them possibly moving in together, and alex makes an appearance in regards to the trial.

One week later

Olivia sat in the waiting room, flipping through a magazine. Amanda had her therapy aappointment with Dr. Phillips today, and Olivia just hoped she had a breakthrough. The last week had been filled with calming words, soothing touches and gentle reassurance. The blonde had reverted back to how she was when the brunette had finally found her after so long.

She was back to sleeping practically on top of the brunette detective most every night, and would go into a trance with a glazed over look in her eyes any time Olivia left the room.

She sighed, wishing there was something she could do to help her friend.

With Amanda/Dr Phillips

"Hi, Amanda" the young woman said kindly. "How are you?" she asked but got no response.

"Olivia says you've had a hard time lately," she continued and at the mention of her protecter the blonde began looking around the small office.

"She's right outside." "See through that window?" she asked and Amanda nodded, fixing her gaze on her friend. "You're ok," she continued, speaking softly and the small blonde relaxed somewhat. "He tried to take me away," Amanda signed after a few beats of silence as tears ran down her cheeks, but she didn't make a sound.

"Do you want to tell me about it?" she asked but Amanda just shook her head. "Liv," she signed. "I want Liv." "Ok, Amanda," Dr. Phillips said kindly. "We can end for today."

Back with Olivia

She looked up when the office door opened and Amanda walked straight over to her, climbing into her lap and leaning back against her chest. "How did it go," she mouthed to Dr. Phillips, pressing a kiss to Amanda's head who turned and hid her face in her neck and the woman just sighed. "We are back to square one," she said. "The only time she acknowledged me is when i said your name or asked about you and the brunette just let out another sigh.

"She told me her abductor tried to get her back, but she wanted you after that," she said. "Yeah, I know," she responded. "She will occasionally stay with her partner, Fin but for the most part she is back to only depending on me."

"She does let him stay with her though," she said and the therapist smiled. "That's great progress," she beamed.

"What do i do?" Dr. Phillips just looked at them. "Just be there for her as you have been," she said. "She will eventually come out of this." "She did before, and when she does again I can begin to work through the trauma and abuse with her," she said. "The ADA wants her to testify," Olivia said after a few minutes and the other woman just raised an eyebrow. "How do they exspect that to work?" "She hasn't spoken in a week, and then there's the regression that comes and goes," she said.

"My thoughts exactly," the detective responded," and the two women shared a look. "I'll do what I can to make sure that doesn't happen," she said. "There is no reason, and frankly no need for that." Olivia nodded. "Thank you," she said, looking down at her friend who was not paying them any attention. She still had her head tucked against Olivia's neck and it appeared she was fighting sleep. . "Well, I'll see you guys in 2 days," Dr. Phillips told them and Liv just nodded. "Thank you," she said and the other woman squeezed her sholder in support. "be patient with her, Olivia," she said. "She needs you." "I'm not leaving her, ever," the older woman vowed and then stared at the therapist. "How... how do you know that?" "She isn't signing to you, not like she does with me." she asked and dr. Phillips just smiled. "I just know, Olivia." "I'm trained to notice these things." "right," the brunette responded and then they were interrupted by the woman's pager. "I have to go," she said and Liv nodded. "Thank you again," she said.

"So, sweetheart," she asked and Amanda lifted her head from its resting place. "What do you want to do?" "Home, cuddle," the blonde signed and Olivia nodded. The only time Amanda seemed remotely calm was when her friend was with her in their apartment, and the trial was a week away.

Whenever Alex would come by, Amanda would hyperventilate while signing no repeatedly.

Alex wasn't the lead Prosecutor which Olivia was thankful for because she could advocate for Amanda. The blonde haired ADA was not at all happy to find out that the person prosecuting Amanda's kidnapper wanted her to testify. She was going to do her best to make sure that that did not happen. Although, if it did they would realize that she was not able to testify because of not speaking.

Olivia was pulled from her thoughts by Amanda cuddling closer to her and she sighed. They went through this any time she had to drive. "Sweetheart," she whispered. "I have to get us home," she said and Amanda whined, laying her head on olivia's arm.

"Ok, baby," she said with an exasperated sigh, trying to keep her tone soft as to not make Amanda think she was mad at her. "You can sit in the middle seat," she said and the blonde beamed. It wasn't the best choice, but it would at least get them home and keep Amanda calm in the process.

With Amanda cuddled as close to her as she could get with Liv driving, they pulled out of the parking lot and on to the highway.

A few minutes into the drive, the brunette felt a tap on her arm. "What is it, sweetheart," she asked. "Hungry," the blonde signed and Liv smiled. "Ok sweetie, hold on," she responded, making a turn into a drive through.

"Do you know what you want?" Amanda pointed at the items on the menu and Liv nodded. "Ok, honey," she said and placed their order.

Once they arrived home Amanda once again leaned into the older detective. "Baby, we need to eat," she said and the blonde nodded.

"I'll hold you in just a few minutes," she said when she saw Amanda's lower lip begin to tremble. "He tried to take me away," she signed franticly and Olivia knew she was working herself up into another panic attack if she didn't act fast. "I know baby, but you're safe here with me, in our apartment," she said gently.

"I didn't think I'd ever see you again the first time he took me," she continued as tears rapidly flowed from her blue eyes. "I'm here sweetie, I'm here," she whispered.

"Please," she begged as more tears fell. "Don't make me go back to my own place, I want to stay with you." "Ok baby," she responded, pulling her close. "You can, you can," she said and knew that things were about to change forever, but in a good way.
