Percy surveyed the battlefield, taking in the shocked faces of the demigods and monsters. He clenched his fist and pulled all nearby water to him.

Sweat, tears, moisture, all of it answered to him. It circled above his head in a ring. The clouds thundered overhead.

He glanced up at the ring of water. 'Not enough' he thought. He turned his head toward a hyperborean giant and flicked his wrist. A jet of water separated from the ring and hardened into a spear of ice.

It struck the giant right through the heart. Its whole body turned to ice, which Percy immediately melted and brought into his ring of water. He turned back to Krios. He held out a hand and used the moisture to return the discarded sword to his hand.

"So sloppy." His voice was casual as if he were talking to someone over lunch and not preparing to face off with a titan. "I need to get him to be more careful. It's my body too."

He looked Krios dead in the eyes. "So, Krios, shall we begin?" He asked, still seeming to be calm.

Krios growled. "Yes, let's." And with that, he charged.

Percy ran to meet him. Their first clash rang out, making everyone cover their ears. They moved with impossible speeds, neither being able to get a hit in. Percy had somehow managed to sheath one sword and was now only fighting with one.

Krios feinted towards one side and Percy fell for it. He lunged in that direction while The Ram stepped aside and swung his sword down. Percy twisted to the side and managed to block. He threw Krios off-balance and pressed his advantage.

Krios just barely managed to block or deflect all of the attacks. Somehow, while Percy was dueling with Krios, he shot knives of water in all directions, killing monsters by the dozens.

Krios didn't notice, as he was too preoccupied with Percy. No one even knew how Percy was doing the multitasking. The man(?) was still pressing Krios, not giving him any room to breathe.

After about 10 minutes, almost all of the monsters were dead, and Krios started noticing. He pushed Percy back and looked around. He seemed to be in shock. That shock quickly turned into anger.

Krios rounded on Percy. "WHAT DID YOU DO?!" He bellowed.

Percy shrugged. "I kept you occupied and destroyed your army. Now that the number of monsters is more manageable for everyone else, I can really focus on our fight."

Everyone flinched. He was only half focusing on the fight with Krios? The titan looked nervous. "Look, I'm sure we can make a deal… right?"

Percy shook his head and charged. He fought with even more vigor than before. Most people weren't watching anymore, though. They were taking Percy's advice and finishing off the monsters.

It only took a few minutes for all of the monsters to be turned to dust. Krios and Percy were still going at it. Krios was slowing down. Percy's aggressive style was taking its toll on him.

Percy, for his part, looked fine. His face had a look of intense concentration, and Thalia noticed that Krios never looked him in the eye. What had happened to Percy down there?

The fight was coming to an end now, everyone could see that. Krios' moves were slower than ever, and it was only a matter of time before his opponent got a hit through his guard.

Percy hacked, slashed, and chopped. He ducked, dodged, and rolled.

He evidently saw an opportunity, because he leaped backward before rolling between the titan's legs. He came up on the other side and ran his sword through Krios' neck. The titan coughed once, twice, and then the light faded from his eyes.

His body began to crumble into dust. Everyone watched in shock as the lord of the south was sent to Tartarus. When he was gone, Percy sheathed his sword and looked around.

His face was an emotionless mask. He turned towards camp and walked off. For a moment, no one moved. Everyone's thoughts were the same: how did Percy do that?

Sorry for the short chapter. The next one will be longer. Also, I've made a decision about The Children of the Jacksons. I will not be rewriting that yet. I might get to it when summer rolls around but until then, I will not be rewriting it. Instead, I will focus on other projects like this one and another one which should be posted later today.
