A/N:

I realize there was a lot of concern, based on my decision to make Harry a Werewolf. So I will explain:This fic is more a slice of life, in the style of Fruits Basket. Focusing on emotional bonding. While dealing with the hardships in life, with the "Curses" being a metaphor for that.I really don't want to write a long epic fic about a war. And I seriously doubt I have the writing skill to do that justice. However, that does not mean this fic will be without conflict. It will just be more centered around Domestic issues.

3 Years Earlier.

Lucius, was excited, his lord had returned. He could feel it, within the dark mark on his arm. His lord had returned, and Lucius Malfoy was the one who brought him back. He could feel the pull, his lord was not only back, but summoning him. And so the Death Eaters flocked to him.

Lucius appeared within the Forbidden Forest, with dozens of his fellow Death Eaters already there... and standing in the center of them... was the Weasley girl.

Malfoy felt a spike of terror. He hadn't realized Voldemort's spirit would physically inhabit the knew body. The Lord would surely be... irritated with him.

The girl did look distraught. Certainly not holding the confidence, of the dark lord, Lucius remembered... she even looked like she had been crying.

"I'm sorry," She whispered, and not a moment later, Lucius, and all the other death Eaters, saw the eyes of a mighty serpent.

Ginny-Tom started sobbing again, as more souls were added to her body count.

The Basilisk calmly slithered down, from their place in the trees.

"All will be well Speaker," The Basilisk assured. "This is not like before. These men were the epitome of evil. They would have led the world to ruin. You did the right thing, luring them to me. We have saved the school, as Salazar would have wanted.

"Now, go back inside, while I dispose of the bodies."

Ginny-Tom shook his, her, head, "You... You can't just eat them! Their families need to know their dead."

The Basilisk gave the snake equivalent of a shrug. "Their family tapestries will inform them of that. Now, don't get fussy with me, hatchling. Go back inside."

"And do WHAT!?" Tom snapped. "Pick up Ginny's life, where she left off!"

"Of course not," The Basilisk sighed. "But you have much to explain to the headmaster."

Tom froze.

"It has been 50 years, since you went to school here. I have watched, listened. I know the headmaster regrets how he treated you, during your first childhood. I believe he will relish the chance, to do things right."

Present Day.

"You want me to become a Werewolf?" 14 year old Ginny-Tom tilted her head. Through the passing years, she had become more comfortable, thinking of herself as a girl.

Currently, she was more curious, then repulsed, by the notion of becoming fuzzy. After all, her less savory counterpart had worked closely with many "Dark" creatures. She knew they weren't evil, just desperate for equal rights... which they had in Japan.

"Werewolves, who have mastered their curse, unlock their longevity," Albus reminded. "In addition to being more difficult to kill, and they are no longer slaves to the moon. The temple will ensure Akito keeps his word, and trains all of the Remus pack, how to control such a gift."

Ginny-Tom bit her lip... as much as he hated to admit it. The fear of death was still something that plagued her.

She had planned to reach out to her vampire contacts, after school... but this might be better? Werewolves were physically more powerful then vampires, and those that mastered their curse were even more powerful then wizards... which is the reason the Ministry executed such beings, the moment after becoming aware of them. Although Japan had no such laws... regardless.

"I... don't particularly like the idea of being in constant pain." Ginny-Tom informed.

As she knew, Werewolves that mastered their curse, were in a constant state of pain, even when not transformed. It was more a diluted burning, then the boiling their blood usually produced... but it was all the time.

Which, although kept them with all their faculties, did make them more emotional, with very short fuses. After all, you can't expect someone to live in a constant state of pain, and not be a little snippy... plus the wolf was more fused into their soul, making them more animalistic.

Albus sighed, "It is not a pleasant thought." He acknowledged. "but for the sake of uniting my family, I am willing to endure."

Ginny-Tom stiffened, "You... you are leaving? For them?"

Dumbledore eyed the girl a moment, "Yes Tom. And I'd like you to come with me."

In the Hogwarts Staff room.

Minerva McGonagall sat beside her old friends: Rubeus Hagrid, teacher of care of magical creatures. Poppy Pomfrey, the primary healer of the school. Alastor "Mad-Eye" Moody, the ex-Auror and teacher of Defence against the dark arts, since the curse on that class was broken. And finally professor Filius Flitwick, Master of Charms, and Winner of several dueling championships.

They listened, intently, to Albus tale of what happened in Japan. Of this Akito. Then, proceeded to ask them all to make yet another Sacrifice for him. Which they were all willing, without question, nor complaint.

This newest mission didn't have the stakes of the last war... although it came at greater personal cost. Certainly one of a more... permanent nature.

However, they had known Albus for decades, many of them for over a hundred years... They had either been taught by the man, or grew up with him, as the closest of schoolyard friends.

There really was no need to ask.

Prince Manor.

"You can't be serious," Snape sneered.

"I imagine you would make a good deal of money," Albus smiled. "Being the only fully trained Potions Master in the country."

Severus scoffed, "There may be few potions masters, but they aren't completely absent. Besides, I just barely got away from having to teach dunderheads. Why would I voluntarily condemn myself to that."

"Because..." Albus smiled his Grandfatherly smile. "I miss you."

Severus scowled, "Sentimental old coot. I was your spy. After we imprisoned Voldemort's wraith, and your pet leach killed all the Death Eaters, there was no reason for me to remain at the school. You knew how much I despised teaching, and we BOTH know how bad at it I was.

"Besides, Why would I wish to become a werewolf, with Remus bloody Lupin as my alpha, of all people!"

Albus shrugged, "Because I'm asking you."

Severus huffed.

"You're one of my closest friends." Albus reminded. "I don't even trust Minerva with as many of my confidences, as I do you. I also know. You're bored out of your mind. You aren't a man that was built for times of peace. And your skills as a spy, may be of need again."

Severus raised an interested eyebrow, at that.

So Albus continued, "I don't intend to allow this Akito to go unpunished. It might be a minor inconvenience, but we have an enemy, again."

Finally, Severus smiled.

Later that Day.

Albus returned to his office... only to find a number of concerned looking parents... with a guilty looking Ginny-Tom.

The girl squirmed, "I... may have convinced my friends to come with us to Japan."

"TO LIVE AS WEREWOLVES!!!" Screamed Lady Longbottom.

Albus sighed, then proceeded to talk to all the parents... and somehow convinced all of them to join. He knew he had a silver tongue, but damn. Even Longbottom, once she was made aware of the fact Werewolf venom could cure her son and his wife.

So they got the Lovegoods, the remaining Malfoys, and their recently reunited family the Tonks, plus the Longbottoms, the Bones, the muggle families of the Grangers and Thomas-es, and let's not forget Albus biggest supporters in the Weasleys.

Even a few wealthy orphans, in the form of: Theodore Nott, Lee Jordan, Seamus Finnigan, Viktor Krum, and Cedric Diggory...

They had over 30 people to join the Remus Pack... Remus was not going to be pleased.
