WARNING:
This current chapter has some gruesome scenes of gore and torture. If you find these subjects offensive, please do not read this chapter.
No.1 announcement: I'm alive and still writing. I'm just editing a lot of my story and while re-reading some of the stuff I wrote... jeezes... I was one hell of a edgy teenager with bad grammar. Problem is, I think I'm the same as before, just more aware of my poor status as a writer. ;-; Still, I'm not giving up on finishing the stories that I have started(excluding the ones that I have deleted from this site).
No.2 announcement: I'm going to be slow on updates. Personal reasons.
With that out of the way... let's get it!
"Eat it… come on kitty kitty~ Eat it~"
"..."
"Pwease bwe a gwed girl and eat it~!"
"..."
Baby talking isn't working… strange… it always worked on my precious daughter… Instead, the kitty was glaring daggers at me as all four of her limbs were restricted to the maximum in the iron chair that was currently the kitty's prison.
"... so… you won't eat it…?"
"As if I'll eat anything from a murderer!" Growled Blake. Then, for good measure, she spat a glob of spit on my face. Her aim was true as a glob of wetness dripped from my cheek. "You… you disgust me"
…
…
…
I barely twitched, but this rising of annoyance must be dealt with. However, when dealing with this hot molten rage inside my heart, I mustn't harm Blake Belladonna. She is, after all, an important piece in this little game of mine. Thus, I picked up my phone and called up the crazy wannabe soldier, while wiping off the gob of spit from my cheek.
"Mister Doe Wonders… can you please bring in one of them? Yes, right now. What? Oh… umm… cherry coke please. Thank you"
"..." The kitty once again became silent and the calm smile on my face disappeared as I glared at her.
"What are you going to do?" Hissed Blake as time went by. "Hit me? A girl who couldn't even protect herself?"
"Nah" I said, unhinging my jaw then putting it back into place with a horrible clicking noise. "I've got a better idea"
Just in time, the doors burst open and in came Doe, striding in with a hogtied White Fang, exhausted, and covered with dry blood and spit.
"Here you go dear, sir!" Doe cried out saluting me, and I did so too, but in a more comical fashion. "I have picked the most useless out of the bunch, sir! She has told me everything she knows so far, and she's the weakest out of the bunch, sir! And your cherry coke, sir!"
"Attaboy agent Doe!" I barked out like a drill sergeant as I snatched the cherry coke from his hands. "You are dismissed!"
"Yes! Sir!" Cried out Doe, and off he went, with a little spring of happiness in his stride.
"... interesting fellow is he not?" I said grinning as I inspected the fatigued White Fang member who began coughing. "For all his life, his dream was to become a soldier for Atlas and he trained his entire life to become one. He passed with flying colors… until the doctors claimed that he was too mentally unstable to become one…"
Flicking my fingers, the top part of my cherry coke was cut clean as the lid fell uselessly onto the floor. Then, I poured a portion into my mouth to savor the taste before swallowing it.
"Who knew that the announcement that ended his only dream would shatter his mental state further? The truth simply broke him, and so, he found the second best option to continue his foolish dream… He stole Atlas weapons, Oum knows how he pulled that off, and set off on a journey. Sinking into his delusions, he got to believes that he was a hero, an agent of justice who stands in the way between the grimm and the innocent, obliterating the creatures of the night, destroying the evil that strikes fear into people's hearts like a knight in shining armor… Kehehehehe… That evil, of course includes the White Fang…"
"Th-the White Fang aren't evil…" Spoke Blake, the volume of her voice dropping drastically due to the sight of a faunus in a terrible condition. "They're misunderstood…"
"Misunderstood…? MISUNDERSTOOD?!" This time I didn't bother hiding my obvious distaste for the White Fang as I snarled in front of Blake's face as her ears started to twitch at a faster rate. "YOU PARDON SELFISH MURDERS JUST BECAUSE THEY'RE MISUNDERSTOOD?! REALLY? THAT'S HOW IT WORKS? THAT'S AMAZING! THEN I CAN BE ALSO PARDONED BY OUM, SINCE I AM ALSO A MISUNDERSTOOD MURDERER! WAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! DID YOU HEAR WHAT THIS LITTLE KITTY SAID, TRASH?! SHE SAYS YOU'RE MISUNDERSTOOD!"
Blake flinched in absolute terror at my usage of words and the uncomfortable situation that was unraveling before her. Never did the cat faunus feel this much fear and despair from a single individual, with the exception of Adam. However, her situation was about to get worse, but so worse as the other White Fang member as she struggled with all her might to escape the inevitable.
"N-no…! Please… PLEASE NOOOOOOAAAAAAAARRRRRRRHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"
A smile split my face in two as I drenched my ears with the White Fang's screams. A metal hook, wiggled its way between the socket and the eyeball, as the curved part successfully hooked onto the White Fang member's eye socket with her eye still intact. She had little aura left, but I doubt she could hold that eyeball inside her socket for long.
"S-stop… NO! STOP IT!" Screamed Blake as she struggled to get free. Whether she wanted to intervene to save the tortured faunus, or simply run away from the gruesome brutality, I did not know. All I knew was that she was three steps from pissing her pants. "They don't d-deserve this!"
"That might be true… But do you think I care?" I spoke, my voice getting dangerously soft. "Besides, actions bring consequences dear kitty… and their actions brought the me. It's their fault that they're suffering by my hands… it's their fault that they've created me… it's their fault for all the deaths of innocents, all the deaths of those who had nothing to do with 'achieving equality'"
"B-but… but… but…" Blabbered the cat faunus, who started to blabber like a broken record player as her pupils were shaking within her eyes.
"You know them better than anybody Blake" I sneered as my lips came so close to her trembling ears that I made sure she could directly feel my hard breathing. "Oh, how much I wish to squeeze your throat until you pass out and die, just because you were part of the White Fang… But I can't… I can't because you're not a White Fang anymore… And most importantly, you know the truth… you know what they've become, you know what they've done and will do, you know how unsaveable they are now… So WATCH! AS! THEY! SCREAM!"
Obviously, a lie. I lied about wanting to kill her. I would never permanently harm a member from RWBY or JNPR, or a White Fang member who betrayed their own band of psychopaths(that's rich coming from myself, considering the band of psychopaths I have…).
I needed Blake Belladonna at the endgame. I needed RWBY to become strong and fierce enough to withstand Remnant's evils and hardships.
Thus, my original plan revolved around giving team RWBY a reason to get stronger and a bit more cruel than their original selves. I wanted to show them that there were sick people in the world that would do horrifying things out of personal reasons, and that the weak cannot do anything about such injustice.

…
However, Vale's police commissioner Ferrari Redwood had to show up as the Vigilante, ruining half of my plans.
Ruby was stupefied during the entire day as she wasted her time, staring at the streets of Vale as the sun rose high and started to set. The horrifying images of Penny's… Penny's head haunted her mind, and she didn't even want to start with mentioning her sister's condition. If the ambulance arrived a few minutes late… there was no idea what would've happened to Yang. And Blake… Blake…
Ruby's puffy eyes started to well with tears again as she cradled her face with her bandaged hands.
This was all her fault. As a team leader she was tasked in keeping her team in one piece and she failed miserably from the very start to this very moment.
'I'm sorry professor Ozpin…' Sniffled Ruby as she cried a bit more in her arms. 'I-I don't think I'm ever fit to be a leader…'
If only she was stronger than that… that monster. If only she was faster. If only she was a better tactician… then maybe… maybe things wouldn't have escalated like this. Maybe Yang's kidney would still be in place. Maybe Blake wouldn't have been kidnapped. Maybe Penny…
…
…
…
The sound of Ruby's sobbing only grew louder at the death of her eccentric friend. They've only known each other for a few hours, but it was enough time for her to know that she was a good person.
…
…
…
No.
…
…
…
That's… that exactly what she had originally thought of Blanc: a warm-hearted, good person who lost her eyes to that villain she met on the rooftop. Ruby trusted Blanc. Although she thought Blanc's bodyguards were a bit rude and mean, she thought Blanc to be a good person. Until it was revealed that Blanc was the villain on the rooftop in disguise all along.
…
Gritting her teeth, guilt was washed away by a new burning emotion: anger. She was now angry at the monster who dared to hurt Ruby's friends and family. Why should she feel guilty for what he did? How dare he touch them. How dare he hurt them. How dare—
"Miss Rose?"
The sudden voice snapped her out of her stupor as she whipped her head to face the person who spoke to her.
"Ah…" Spoke the man who suddenly looked sheepish as Ruby quickly rubbed away the tears from her eyes. "Pardon me. I'll come back at another ti—"
"N-no! No, no! I'm fine, it's just… some dust in my eyes… hehe…"
"No, it's my fault to suddenly intrude—"
"No, it's-it's fine! I'm fine! I swear… I'm… fine"
"Are you su—"
"Yes!"
"... ahem" Coughed the man in his fist, looking very guilty. "Well then, if you say so I guess I'll start. Hello miss Rose, I am Ferrari Redwood. Vale's police commissioner. I would like to ask a few questions regarding what had happened last night"
And then the questions came and although it hurt to even think of the dreadful experience, Ruby tried her best to describe what had happened.
It took all her willpower not to cry again.
Ferrari sighed as he stepped out of Ruby Rose's nursing room.
Excluding Yang Xiaolong who was still recovering from her surgery, he had finally gotten all the testimonies of the students who were in the crime scene.
Although he was… illegally in the area of the crime scene where all the shit went down, it was important to hear everyone else's perspectives.
…
…
…
Fucking Farang… that god damned Spider…
Thanks to his fiasco, Ferrari had two thirds of the Vale police race to the harbors, where negative emotions were rampant. Like Ferrari predicted, small swarms of grimm arrived from the air and from the sea. Fortunately, the well prepared and armed police force(which was possible because Ferrari didn't embezzle the funds unlike the previous commissioner) were able to push them back.
There were some attacks on the outskirts of the town, but according to the reports, some individual huntsmen have seemed to have dealt with them.
Possibly Farang's mercenaries. After all, he did say that he had countermeasures in case the grimm were to attack the city.
…
That Spider… he really needed to die. But if that were to happen, there were two problems that instantly arose in Ferrari's mind.
The first problem in killing Farang, or having him dead from natural or accidental causes would most certainly cause an enormous power vacuum in the underworld. One that he wouldn't be able to control. Ever since the Spider took the throne of the underworld to himself, he took pleasure in crushing every crime syndicate, stripping them from their power and handing them over to Ferrari in order to promote him into becoming Vale's police commissioner. But once he's gone from his throne…
…
…
…
The ones who have gone silent would rise up again, causing havoc and fear throughout the city.
Second problem that came to Ferrari's head was…
…
…
…
Well… he just couldn't imagine the Spider defeated.
Sighing again for the nth time, Ferrari trudged the corridors as a shadow loomed over his shoulder as a handful of guilt, struck his heart.
Back in the nursing room with Ruby Rose, he couldn't possibly bring himself to deliver the news of the status of her missing teammate, Blake Belladonna: once a student of Beacon now a wanted terrorist of the White Fang.
"So… boss, what exactly are you trying to accomplish here?" Spoke Fern as he bristly walked alongside me as his partner trudged behind us. Not so long ago, I had the remaining White Fang members to be terminated. Although I was tempted to have them tortured for a bit more, their despair apparently attracted too much grimm. Normally this wouldn't be too much of a problem, considering the team members, however…
"▉▉▉▉▉▉▉▉▉"
"Ah shit, it's another whale grimm!"
"Fuck, fuck, fuck… where are the harpoons?! WHERE ARE THE HARPOONS?!"
"That crazy Doe fucking Wonders took the whole thing! AND HE JUMPED OFF THE SHIP WITH THE HARPOONS!"
"Oh look. Van is also jumping off the ship"
"... you know what? Fuck those two, I'm done caring"
As much as I was confident in facing a horde of grimm, I wasn't confident being stranded in the middle of the sea with a bunch of selfish maniacs.
Fortunately, many of the White Fang weren't resilient to torture as they all spilled what they know of the White Fang. It's current status, information of Adam Taurus, the major base locations, and Cinder.
"Well… we're trying to go to Atlas obviously" I spoke scratching my cheek as I threw another meatbag into the incinerator.
"We both know that was not what I was talking about" Grumbled Fern as he impatiently tapped his foot on the ground, scowling. "I want to know why you're sticking up for that kitty bitch"
Fern and Jumbo… Although the prices for their services were outrageous, I had hired them for their brutal efficiency and most importantly… because our goals aligned.
According to Junior's files, Fern and Jumbo originated from a village in the outskirts of Vale and were pretty famous baseball players. Until the White Fang ransacked the village, razing it into dust. During the process, Jumbo, while protecting Fern, received severe head trauma and Fern pretty much lost everything that he cared about. All he had was left was his skills in baseball, and his childhood friend Jumbo. Based on this information and Junior's intel on where Fern spent all the money he earned, it was very likely that Fern was obsessed with money for Jumbo's treatment. So when I gave them a huge sum of money for their brute strength and skills while giving them a chance to bash some White Fang skulls…
…
They were more than happy to take my offer. Killing the ones they hate and getting paid to do it? It was like a dream come true for the duo.
But then the problems with Blake happened. Although Father Borris seemed okay with having a reformed White Fang member around, Fern and Van certainly were not pleased with her existence.
It was Van who first recognized her as Adam Taurus's lover, and nearly dismembered the poor faunus on sight.
Thankfully, nobody else tried to do the same after Farang stated that they could all leave if they didn't agree with his methods. Even Van, after drawing blood from my right forearm, begrudgingly lowered his weapon as he trudged off.
"Future plans Fern… It's all personal to me"
"Oum… I really don't get you at all boss…" Grumbled the baseball player. "You're pretty predictable in the way you speak of your obsession, but in the end, I still have no idea how you're going to achieve your goals… But that aside, is having that kitty with us really part of your goals? Unless you want to keep her as a pet of course"
Ah yes… After Blake fainted after seeing her brothers and sisters tortured in the most creative fashion, I handed her over to Father Borris who I knew would take gentle care of her.
…
…
…
As a member of the White Fang, he seemed to empathize with her a lot. After all, they both realized the terrible truth of the White Fang and bravely squirmed their way out of there. Hopefully father wouldn't get too attached to her… yet.
Although Van was a human being, it was hard for any person to consider him to be a human, or even a faunus. The man rarely talked and he never smiled. By default, a frown was always stretched on his thin lips and his anger drunken eyes moved like a hungry predator, seeking an object to vent his inner frustrations. He was more of an animal. Like a honey badger, who struck and never backed down. Uncaring of consequence and karma, he did what pleased him and he ruthlessly fought against those who stood in his way.
…
…
…
However… that Spider, his employer… he stood between him and that White Fang.
That faunus didn't seem to understand. Once a monster, always a monster. He had to cut her down before she grew up, just become a monster like the rest of her brothers and sisters. He needed her blood to be spilt. He needed her head to roll on the dirt along with the rest of her body remains. But that faunus… he blocked him. He stepped in and threatened Van… him, right in the face that the kitty was off limits.
Like hell she was.
Van was tempted. He was so tempted to end the Spider's life right where he stood, then carve the girl to death. A splatter of blood from his employer's forearm wasn't enough. Van wanted more violence, more action to release his sudden increase of frustration. However… Van knew that the Spider was an asset to his goals as they aligned with each other.
He won't lash out… for now…
But when given the chance, he would happily cut that kitty down to a paste of crimson.
Screams.
Blood.
More screams.
More blood.
For Blake, it felt like an eternal cycle of damnation. Was this her comeuppance for her crimes? Swimming in the sea of a red hell, but with no heat. Just cold, dark bodies staring up at her as they drag her down to drown her in the limbs of—
"!!!"
WIth a shivering jolt, Blake leapt up from her bed, feeling the cool sweat drenching her back and up to her neck. Shivering, she clutched the sheets of her be—
…
…
…
Wait… no. These were not her sheets… these were…!
"!!!"
Once again, reality invaded Blake's mind as she recalled the haunting images of flesh and blood. The screams echoed within her ear and she couldn't…!
"B-blerchhhh…. *cough* *cough* Ker… kerkkkkk…"
In simpler words, she threw up.
How can… how can a faunus be so cruel…? How can a faunus possibly do something so horrible to another faunus…? Just… just how?!
Fresh tears sprung into Blake's eyes as she began to uncontrollably weep again as the dept of her situation sank in once more. She was kidnapped by a psychotic, cold-blooded, sadistic, serial killer and she was… she was…
"Are you awake, child?"
Even when she spent her nearly depleted energy on vomiting, Blake's instincts added fuel to her muscles as she jumped into a defensive stance, ready to fight as there were no shackles to hold her down like last tim—
…
…
…
Wait… is that… could that person be…?
"Fa-Fa-Father Borris…?" Squeaked Blake as her pupils turned into pinpricks.
Father Borris, the large tiger faunus who worked with the White Fang. Although he wasn't one of the council members or even an important figure among the White Fang, he used to be a peculiar individual who strongly believed in the cohabitation of humans and faunus. As a devout of Oum, he would often preach of how all lives were created equally under the hands of the brothers of Oum. In the morning he would split his own share of bread or give up an apple for a child. The Father Borris that remained in Blake's memories was a kind priest who truly believed and stood up for his brothers and sisters.
…
…
…
But now…
Blake shuddered at the new memories of Father Borris. His scarred face and soulless eyes, murdering countless of what were once his brothers and sisters without hesitation or mercy. Was this person… was this person even Father Borris and not just an evil clone of him?
Blake let out a shaky chuckle as her crazy thoughts of Father Borris reminded her of Ruby's wild and baseless conspiracy theories of grimm, villains, and the contents of her book. Although it had only been a few weeks… the memories with her teammates just seemed to be so far away. A distant memory that twinkled in the midst of darkness that had surrounded Blake.
"Blake"
Blake cringed as the voice reached her ears. His voice… his voice changed with his appearance. No longer having a deep smooth voice that sang wonderful songs at dawn, Father Borris's voice was something that had shriveled up. The deep bass was still in his lungs, but it seemed like he had lost all of the grace and beauty of it. Now all there was was a hoarse growl that grated Blake's eardrums.
"Blake" This time, the priest's voice was hushed and for a friction Blake saw light in the faunus's eyes, only to dim into lifeless orbs before he spoke again. "Child, you must escape from here"
"... uh, excuse me?" Whatever she had braced herself for, that response wasn't what Blake had expected. She expected hostility, cruelty, and rage, the very same emotions she had witnessed last night from the murderers. She expected torture, pain, and suffering, but caring…?
"You are different, Blake Belladonna" Continued Father Borris as Blake's cat ears flickered again by the unpleasant sound of the tiger faunus's voice. "You have realized the path that our brothers and sisters have taken is nothing but flames and madness. This place is not for beings like you"
Although the stubborn part of Blake wished to talk back against the tiger faunus's statement, the memories of last night made her judge her actions before she acted upon them. Gulping a lump that had formed in her throat she shot out the question that had been circling inside her head the moment Father Borris made his way in her cell.
"Father Borris… what… what happened…?"
"That, child, is a story for another time" Spoke Father Borris as he straightened his back.
"O-okay then… wait, if you want me out of here, can't you just… break me free…?"
"Forgive me child, but I cannot. I am not willing to betray my companions so easily"
It didn't take a genius to know that there was no room for argument regarding that manner. Now… Blake was feeling more depressed than ever. What was… what was she doing in this forsaken place…? Was this her future where everyday would be a fresh new torture from her captor? Was this her future where she would be forced to wait for her friends… if they were ever friends in the first place, to rescue her, only to send her back behind bars in a prison?
"However, you must leave. Although many of my companions neglect your existence, there is a persistent one who wishes your demise"
At those words, all Blake could muster was a humorless laugh as she sneered at the unmoving face of the faunus she had once respected. Did that statement make her more miserable by the fact that there was another person who wished to hurt her, or uplift her spirits by telling her that the seemingly endless torture would end eventually?
"Yeah? Then pray tell me just how I could leave this place?! That Spider won't let me out, you won't let me out, nobody's getting me out of here!"
"But I can help you grow stronger to escape this place on your own. That is the only action I can take to aid you" With those words, Father Borris tossed something at Blakes legs as it hit the mattress of her bed. It looked familiar… it looked…
…
No… this is…!
"Gambol Shroud… but… why are you giving me th-th-..."
Blake's voice stopped halfway through her sentence as her pupils dilated into smaller dots than before as Father Borris pulled out his weapon from his back. It was a large sword, but the size of it was enormous that made Jaune's Crocea Mors look like a toothpick. Was it even a sword? The more Blake stared at the weapon the more it looked like a slab of thick metal attached to a small handle at the end.
"Unfortunately, this confined space doesn't allow me to move as much as I wish. But it's large enough for me to swing around" He spoke as he gave a couple of swings as the tip of the sword nearly scratched the ceiling.
"Now… defeat me Blake Belladonna, only then am I assured that you'll escape alone and unscathed. Overwhelm me, and with such great potential in you, I know that you will succeed through endeavor"
With those words Blake's flashed yellow as she saw the sword's edge rushing towards her neck.
