DAY 1:

Entrance through an inter-spatial rift. The day was spent marching through a tunnel, made of a material that looked like a starfield. The length of the tunnel could not be measured due to a spatial anomaly that kept the tunnel stretching out in front of and behind the squad.

DAY2:

Entrance into the unknown land that is located inside the extra spatial area. The walls of the tunnel slowly transitioned into solid rock. The more solid the walls became the fewer spatial anomalies we experienced. The estimated length of the transitional period is 30 km.

The tunnel ended in a limestone cavern, the exit from the cavern opened up to a forest. We believe the trees were Cypress Oak.

DAY3:

The unit explored the woods. Private Galchobar climbed on a tall tree to get above the treeline to gather more information.

We spotter a large stone tower, we assume it to be in the center of the extra-spatial area, north of where

The tower emitted a blue beam from its top, going straight up into the false sky made of the same starfield material we passed on the first day.

The top of the tower had 4 faces that we later identified as human, dragon, goat, and a fish. In this document by the suggestion of Private Galchobar, we identify the aforementioned faces to be facing East, South, West, and North respectively.

DAY4:

We approached the tower. An unusually heavy tree fell on Specialist Gundisalv, breaking his leg and parts of the armor. We had to use 2 repair kits to fix the damage and continue the mission.

Private Galchobar and Major Digory conducted recon around the perimeter. The base of the tower was an old-school fortification. Estimated to be the style that was popular 3000 years ago.

Private Galchobar was spotted around noon, so we were forced into a fight. The defenders were monstrosities covered entirely in a thick fur, only their thin, scaly legs and arms were visible.

The defenders only had spears, mancatchers, and bows to fight against us. They still managed to push us out, until Specialist Gundisalv could use a proximity mine to blow a hole into the stone wall. After that Traugott could use his weapon as a high-caliber machine gun to rapidly eliminate all of the monsters that ran at us.

Private Galchobar ran at them, the barrage of arrows he took dented his armor in several places.

By the time it got dark we managed to clean up the fortress. The rooms were empty of equipment, we found no sign of food or water. The monsters materialized around cages that had the same glow to them as the tower.

Major Digory deemed the building hostile, based on available information. The entire team felt the pressure that Private Galchobar was talking about. Specialist Gundisalv set up several explosive traps around the base of the tower. The remainder of our grenades were placed for increased explosiveness. The explosives we carried were used for remote control.

We finished by midnight and prepared our camp outside the explosive's estimated reach.

DAY5:

We were ambushed early in the morning. Same creatures as the fortress We had to leave behind most of our equipment and make a run for it. The explosives we planted blew up without the trigger.

A large crack appeared on the western side of the sky, we could see the faint image of the southern sea through it. We ran towards the crack.

Digory kept falling further behind as he covered our escape, stating that "The weapons must make it back to our world". We split up, We got closer and closer to the gap, With only me being able to fight back. Gundisalv ran out of SP, and Traugott could not set down his weapon.

Digory pushed us forward through the radio, telling us that he has a shortcut, we should keep moving.

The space behind us vanished as we entered the crack.

The crack closed behind us as we exited it, chipping off a part of my backpack.

DEBRIEF:

Major Digory Asgaidh never existed. Even tough the data on his identifier was verified by several data analysts and the Engineering Hero himself to be valid, and up to our current standards. His soldier ID is skipped in the registry, his supposed family never knew of him, his children are accounted for by the extremely rare occasion of being born without a father.

The Dimensional anomaly has collapsed, and we no longer receive any signals.

POST MISSION EQUIPMENT REPORT:

- 6 units of military rations
Power armor status:
- 1 power armor with the left leg shattered, the hips cracked
- 1 power armor with several dents on the upper body, a cracked helm, a missing backup battery, and damaged life support.
- 1 power armor with a broken visor.

The rest of the equipment was either used up or left behind to increase speed during the escape.

RECOMMENDATIONS:

Private Galchobar constantly reminded us that there was a certain wrongness to the area. Like some kind of pressure pushing down on him. Nobody else on the team produced symptoms like that. Major Digory Asgaidh suggested an investigation into it, as we can not deny the existence of an unknown force in the area.

Commander Traugott Mount also noticed that the separator on his status had a light blue aura crawling down on it from the left, similar to HP and SP bars. Major Digory Asgaidh also noticed a similar effect. Specialist Gundisalv, Private Galchobar did not notice the same effect until a few days after the mission was over. The phenomenon was also observed by several soldiers, so we believe that it will impact the general population. A redacted version of this document may need to be published, or a cover story fabricated.

Suggesting the installation of a secondary black box inside the chest piece of the Power Armor, as Commander Traugott Mount's footage could not be recovered.

The effect provided by the tower was a kind of energy drain. We do not know what it was siphoning off of, but it replicating the effect may be a safe way of crowd control.

FOOTNOTES:

Private Galchobar described the monsters we encountered as walking wigs. He insisted to put this into the report, for future reference.

The samples of the vegetation were carried by Major Digory and therefore were lost on day 5.

ATTACHMENTS:

Footage from all power armors, except Commander Traugott Mount.

ADDITIONAL NOTES:

Engineering Hero Antai Yojinika, 3200:05:22:
Private Galchobar can not be reprimanded for writing parts of this document.

Engineering Hero Antai Yojinika, 3200:05:23:
The informal tone in the document was approved, considering the injuries sustained by our soldiers.

High Commander Christiaan Udink, 3200:05:24:
High Command's request to re-structure parts of this document has been denied by Engineering Hero Antai Yojinika.

Engineering Hero Antai Yojinika, 3200:07:12:
The document has been considered for publication.

Engineering Hero Antai Yojinika, 3202:12:04:
Publication order revoked, as the world does not remember the loss of Digory Asgaidh. An empty grave should be created for the memory of our lost soldier.
Major Digory Asgaidh, is now in the database of our registered soldiers, his identification number is no longer skipped. He's post mortem promoted to General.

Engineering Hero Antai Yojinika, 3204:01:14:
The creation of a cover story is reconsidered as the impact on the general population is still not fully understood.

Engineering Hero Antai Yojinika, 3206:05:11:
The effect of the beacon has been replicated. The structure was draining magic power from each individual in our world, the "separator" on the status was a magic display. Usage on civilians is strictly forbidden, as over-drain can cause loss of consciousness and death.
