Sofia hopped off the carriage. She arrived at CSS.
She waved goodbye to Amber and James and entered the courtyard.
From a fancy carriage stepped out a beautiful lady with golden locks. Her loose hair was tied with ribbons. She had a green gown and white gloves.
Sofia saw her. She said, extending her hand:
"Hi, I'm Sofia. Of Enchancia. And you are?"
She replied with a smooth voice: "I am Princess Clarinda of Clarvis. My dear, it's a pleasure to meet you."
Then she walked haughtily in the building.
Sofia shrugged it off. She entered the building as well.
The first class was Sports Safety. It was taught by the principal itself.
Lorna was a girl with curly short black hair and blue eyes and glasses. She followed Hugo and said: "Oh, Hugo. You forgot yesterday at me your sports book. Here it is."
She gave it to Hugo. "Thanks" Hugo said, taking it.
Lorna and Hugo have been best friends since Hugo was at CSS. They did everything together. They played together, did sports together, sat at the cafeteria table together and visited each other.
However Hugo missed a certain auburn haired princess. Yep, he still loved Sofia. No matter how much time passed, and no matter how many girls swooned over him, Hugo could never forget how he held her hands and twirled in the air and ice danced with her.
"Hugo, you okay?" Lorna asked.
"Yeah. I miss Sofia."
Lorna knew all about Sofia and her relationship to Hugo, and thankfully wasn't jealous. She was a true friend to Hugo. She supported them. Heck, she even shipped them.
"I heard there's a new student coming at Corinthian Sports. Maybe it's Sofia!" Lorna beamed.
"Really?" Hugo stood up, excited.
Suddenly, the principal walked inside the class with two girls.
One had auburn hair and sea blue eyes. Hugo did not even take a look at the one with long blonde hair and emerald green eyes.
Yes, Sofia now goes to school with him everyday! What a dream come true! Lorna saw Hugo's happiness, and smiled.
"Class, we have two more students. How should we greet them?"
Clarinda turned to Sofia. So, she was a new student, huh? So was she!
"Good morning".
"Good morning".
"Good morning".
And so on. Afterwards the principal said "Now, girls, don't be shy. Introduce yourselves to your new friends. Sofia, you go first."
Sofia walked in front of the classroom in the middle and took a deep breath.
"I am Princess Sofia of Enchancia, and I wasn't born a princess. Until I was eight, I was a shoemaker."
Clarinda frowned in disgust.
"Then I was scared when I became royal. There were new rules and many adjustments to make, not to mention I'd leave my old life behind. But I had help from my friends and family."
Her eyes felt on Hugo. Her heart began racing. Her cheeks turned red.
Hugo could only smile.
"When I was at Royal Prep, I decided to be the first princess to be in the flying derby." The class gasped. A girl with short ginger hair in the style of Snow White looked up to her with admiration.
"It was hard for me, and some people did not make it easier for me."
Hugo looked down in shame, remembering that day.
"But I've learned with the help of my bro the derby, and reconciled with those who bullied me." she said smiling. "Since then, I've winned a few championships. Derby is not the only sport i'm doing. I'm very good at dazzleball, and so on. But my favourite one has to be ice dancing. For I had help from Prince Hugo."
Hugo felt the need to stand up. "That would be me" he said.
Clarinda looked at Hugo.
"O my gosh, so cute!" she thought. She almost dropped her bag.
"I love him. He's perfect."
"That would be all." Sofia bowed.
"Good. Clarinda?"
Clarinda went in the middle of the classroom.
"I'm Princess Clarinda of Clarvis. Well, I was born a princess, unlike others." she said, nose in the air. Sofia frowned. She sensed some arrogance in Clarinda.
"I actually haven't tried derby before. I thought it's for boys. But if it's gonna impress some boys, I'll do it. Same goes for other sports. Well, I'm a good ice dancer. I come from the School for Royal Fashions, so I dress to kill."
The class didn't like Clarinda. She was too arrogant.
Sofia took a seat next to Hugo, and Clarinda sat near Sofia.
"I'm so glad you're here, Sofia." Hugo whispered.
"Me too."
Clarinda frowned. She started realizing what's going on so she took Sofia by the chin when Hugo was talking to Lorna and said:
"I'll make life hard for you here, my dear."
