Spell 7: Magic is Food
A few days have passed since Shido's encounter with the golden Rider and Mage known as Beast otherwise known as Nitou Kousuke.
Shido was in the Fraxinus' medical room where Reine was doing a scan of him for any signs of Manticore's poison as he was lying on the bed without his jacket and his friends were in the room as well.
"Well Reine, what's the verdict?" Shido asked as he sat up and Reine turned to him.
"I say that you're the picture of health." Reine said as she brought the status of Shido's body on a larger screen. "There are no traces of the venom left in your body."
Shido sighed in relief to hear while his friends cheered to hear that.
"That's good to hear." Shido said as he got off the bed and stretched out his arms.
"I'm happy for you Shido!" Tohka said as she ran up and hugged him tightly.
"Wow! Tohka, take it easy." Shido told her.
"I'm sorry, but I can't help it. I was really worried about you." Tohka said as tears were forming on the edge of her eyes.
"Tohka…" Shido mutters before he hugs her back and pets her on the head. "Sorry, I didn't mean to make you worry like that."
Tohka smiles as she begins to cheer up.
"She wasn't the only one you know." Kotori said as she walked up to her brother and punched him on the arm. "Honestly, you really should stop shouldering so much burden on yourself."
"You're right. I'm sorry, Kotori." Shido told her and Kotori huffed as she turned away from him.
"Hmph...Well either way, I'm glad you're feeling better." Kotori said and Shido smirks to hear that.
"Well...Thankfully he doesn't have to anymore." Yoshino said getting everyone's attention and Tohka's as she let go of Shido.
"Yeah! It'll be fine from now on! Because now we have two mages in town!" Yoshinon told them.
"I agree. And we all saw how strong Mayonnaise-san was when he fought the Phantom and Ghouls." Mikie said in agreement.
"But is he really on our side?" Koyomi asked and Mikie hummed as she thought about it.
"He did save Shido-san." Mikie reminded them.
"He just happened to do that." Shido reminded her as he picked up and put on his jacket. "Apparently his main goal is to devour the Phantoms' mana."
"Agreement: And by the sound of things, there must be a reason for that." Yuzuru said.
"Yeah." Shido said before he turned to Kotori. "Did you find anything about this guy, Kotori?"
"Well, I tried asking Kizaki about this Beast, but apparently not even the National Security Bureau didn't know he existed until now." Kotori explained.
"I see." Shido said as they were now back to square one and tried to figure out who exactly is this Nitou Kousuke.
"What we do know is that he's obsessed with mayonnaise." Mikie said.
"Oh then maybe that's what we should call him from now on! Mayonnaise." Kaguya said.
"Sigh: Kaguya, please, we're trying to be serious here." Yuzuru said as she shook her head.
(Meanwhile)
Nitou had made a camp in the city as he was seated next to a tent as his spare clothes were hanging on a line to air dry, he also made a campfire to cook three meat skewers with veggies cooking on a grill set on top of his campfire, and spun his mayonnaise bottle in his hand.
After they were done cooking, Nitou picked one of the skewers up and poured mayonnaise on it and Nitou grins as he looks at the skewer.
"Itadakiyes!" Nitou said as he took a bite off of his skewer.
But even though Nitou enjoyed and savored the taste of it, he couldn't but sigh in disappointment as he put down his bottle and looked down at his belt buckle.
"I wish this would fill him up." Nitou said as he rubs his hand on his buckle and looks up at the sky. "But he doesn't do what I say…"
Nitou had set camp next to a temple, and that is when the priest and owner saw Nitou and his camp as he was going to sweep up some of the fallen leaves.
The priest soon walks to Nitou's camp to confront the young man.
"Hey, you!" The priest calls out, making Nitou stop eating as he turns to him.
"Yes?" Nitou said.
"W-What is this?!" The priest asked as he looks at Nitou's campfire.
"My food." He answered.
"I can see it's food! But what about this, this, and this?!" The priest asked as he pointed at Nitou's tent, his drying clothes, and backpack.
"It's my home." Nitou answered as his tent as a sign with his name on it hanging on top of it.
"Your home-" The priest said before Nitou…
"Wait! Say no more!" He said as he stood up and raised his hand in front of the priest. "I know. You also want to live here and eat my food."
Nitou turned his back at the priest as he nodded in self-presume understanding before he turned back to him.
"Isn't that right? I don't want to live with another guy, but…" Nitou said as he knelt down to his campfire and picked up another skewer and offered it to the priest. "You can have my food. Here."
"R-Right now...Get out of here!" The priest demanded as he pointed at the exit, and Nitou's jaw dropped in dismay that he was kicked out after moving in and setting up camp.

(Instrumental) (As the song begins the screen lowered to a metallic tree with seed-shape devices attached to it, and the tree itself was attached to a shipe.)
(Next we see Tohka, Yoshino, and Kotori wearing their Astral Dresses gently falling and landing on the ground as they turn to the screen as it zooms to their faces.)
(Next we see three more Spirits falling and landing to the ground, as it zooms to their hair as we couldn't see their faces.)
(Next to appear is Origami and Mana wearing their Realizer suits, as it zooms to Origami's mouth and to Mana's face.)
(Next to appear is Kurumi wielding both of her guns as she is surrounded by her clones, as it zooms to her face as she is smiling and her bangs cover her eyes.)
(Next to appear is the Fraxinus crew as the screen zooms to Kyouhei and Reine's faces.)
(Next to appear is Isaac Westcott and Ellen Mathers, before it zooms to their faces but their eyes were covered as Isaac had a smile on his face.)
(Last but not least, Shido appeared as he wears his Flame Style Ring and scanned it on his Driver and transformed into Kamen Rider Wizard, as the screens zoomed out as he transformed and showed his Ring, before it zooms out further as his friends were standing beside him.)
(Fate subete wa hitsuzen? Hikare au you na deai (Deai). Tsunagaru sutourii) (In the city, Tohka was jumping off of her as her name appeared on screen before she runs forward and Yoshino and Yoshinon notice her running past as Yoshino was kneeling on the ground talking to her puppet friend as their names appeared one at a time and Yoshino soon stands up and followed Tohka.)
(Ne kono mune no kodou. Rikai dekinai nara (Up to you). Kono mama ochiteyuku dake) (Kotori was watching as she was leaning on a tree while enjoying her candy as her name appeared before she pulled her candy out and took her leave. Across the street, Origami was walking forward as her name appeared on screen. Then we see Koyomi, Rinne, and Mikie in Omokagedo talking to each other as their names appear, next we see Wajima bringing them some tea before he trips and falls as his name appears on screen.)
(Saa erande suriruna deto hajimemashou) (Kurumi was seen standing on top of a building as her name appears as she was looking up at an airship as its shadow appeared on the building. Shido was seen on street level as he was adjusting his Flame Ring before his name appeared on screen, and he soon noticed something flying in the air and saw it was the AST as they headed out to deal with a Spirit.)
(Hanasu tabi fureru tabi warau tabi mezamete. Ku kono omoi kesshite yuzurenai kara) (Next we see a flashback where Shido and Tohka were walking together as she was enjoying her kinako bread. Wizard was then seen riding his Machine Winger forward as the zooms out from his face, before it changes to Shido and his friends having breakfast together, and then they were setting up for a party with their classmates, and then to them looking at Tengu City on their favorite park. Soon following Wizard was Kotori and Yoshino with their Angels out as Kotori was flying above the Rider and Yoshino was riding on Zadkiel beside him. Then it changes to Shido and Tohka riding in a tram together as Tohka leans her head on his shoulder.)
(Hajimete konnani sunao ni soba ni itai to omou kimi ni deaetakara) (Then it changes to Wiseman along with his Phantom Generals, Medusa and Phoenix. Then as Wizard, Kotori, and Yoshino were moving forward, the Yamai twins flew above them forcing them to split up, next we see Miku riding on a road in the shape of a piano keyboard, next we see Mana flying above them. Next we see the silhouette of a new Kamen Rider and behind him was a giant lion with wings, and changes to the mysterious Phantom Sora as he was chuckling. Then Origami was seen clashing swords against Ellen.)
(Then finally we see the backside of an unknown Spirit that resembles Tohka as Wizard armed with Sandalphon stood in front of her.)
(Then we see Tohka falling towards Wizard as they grab each other's hand in a finger lock.)
(Shinjitaino Date A Live) (Tohka was smiling at Wizard and he was smiling under his helmet as he gently helped her land on her feet, and then the title appeared on screen as everything turned white behind it.)
In a park of the city that has a lake, a scuba diver is seen swimming to the waterfront as he emerges from the water as he looks at the people that were standing on top of the front but he only had one target in sight.
"There he is." He said as he swam to the waterfront.
On the waterfront was a middle-age man with black and eyes, who was trying to draw the lake in front of him with his sketchbook as he was seated on a bench but for some reason he wasn't able to move the pencil in his hand.
Nitou had arrived as he sat down on a bench that was underneath the gazebo as he sighed.
"I can't believe I was just driven from my home like that. I'm in a big pinch." Nitou said before he saw the scuba diver climbing onto the wooden waterfront. "Oh! So there are guys who live in the water?!"
As the diver was now standing on the floor of the waterfront, he turned to the artist who was staring at him.
"You're Oikawa Hiroshi, right?" The diver asked and Hiroshi nodded.
"Who are you?" The artist asked.
"Me? I am…" The diver said as he leaned on the railing and transformed into a Phantom. "This!"
The Phantom was aquatic plant based with green eyes and have orange crystals in front of his body, and has a grey, arm, leg, and a shoulder head with teeth, and most of his body is colored green with fins on his forearms and has tentacles sticking out on the back of his body. This is the Phantom known as Hydra.
Seeing the transformed frighten Hiroshi and the other people in the area as they run away.
"A monster!" Hiroshi said which gotten Nitou's attention as he turns to both him and the Phantom.
"Come with me." Hydra requested.
"A Phantom! So this pinch is also a chance?!" Nitou said as he jumped out of the gazebo and charged at the Phantom as he jumped over the bench the artist was sitting on.
"I spy with my little eye...today's meal!" He said as he faced the Phantom while Hydra was confused as he looked at Nitou.
"Huh? Who the hell are you? Move!" Hydra demanded as he pushed Nitou aside as Hiroshi was gathering his supplies and Hydra was going to move towards him.
"Hey! Stop it! Don't move!" Nitou said as he moved in front of Hydra and grabbed onto the Phantom.
Hiroshi then runs away as Nitou dodges an attack from Hydra and grabs hold of him from the Phantom's back.
"Hey! Let go! Bastard!" Hydra demands as he attacks Nitou again but he dodges his attacks and grabs hold of the Phantom once again. "Quit it!"
That is when Hydra was fired upon on the chest as Nitou let's go of him, sending the Phantom back to the water and Nitou rolling on the ground as he stops on his hands and knees.
"This pattern...it can't be!" Nitou mutters as this feels all too familiar to him as he turns and sees Shido armed with his gun who fired at the Phantom. "I knew it!" He said as he stood up on his knee and foot.
That is when Shido's friends Rinne, Tohka, Yoshino, Mikie, and the Yamai had arrived.
"Huh! It's him!" Rinne said.
"Mayonnaise!" Yoshinon said as she pointed at him, causing Nitou to stand up in front of them.
"Don't point at my face and call me Mayonnaise!" Nitou told the puppet and the others.
"You again?" Shido asked
"That's my line! Interrupting my meal again?" Nitou said as he moved in front of Shido.
"No, I'm-" Shido said as he tries to explain.
"Say no more!" Nitou told him as he raised his hand in front of Shido.
"Bang!" Shido said, pretending to shoot at Nitou with his gun.
"Uwa!" Nitou grunted as he held his stomach as he actually thought he had been shot. "That's not funny." He said as he pushed Shido's gun down.
"I obviously found him first. So it's my right to eat him! Just get-" Nitou said as Shido and the others notice that Hydra was climbing back on the waterfront.
"Here he comes." Shido pointed out.
"Huh?" Nitou said as he turned to the Phantom as he was charging at Nitou and grabbed onto him as he began to drag the young man away.
"Hey, come over here!" Hydra said as he was about to give Nitou a piece of his mind.
Shido had changed to his WizarDriver as he flipped its switches as he was now wearing his Flame Style Ring.
SHABADOOBIE TOUCH TO HENSHIN
"Henshin." Shido said as he pushed the goggles down and scanned the Ring on his Driver.
FLAME, PLEASE: HI HI HI HI HI
A magic circle appeared in front of Shido as he ran through it to transform into Wizard as he charged at the Phantom.
"How dare you interfere with my work!" Hydra told Nitou before Wizard kicked him forcing him to let go of Nitou as he rolled on the ground and as Nitou fell to the ground as well.
Wizard chuckles as he spun his gun as it stopped pointing upward as Nitou stood back up.
"Hey! You cut in during the confusion!" Nitou said as he scans his Drier On Ring on his belt.
DRIVER ON
Nitou's belt changes into the Beast Driver as he puts on his Beast Ring.
"Hennnnnnn~shin!" Nitou shouted as he assumed his pose and inserted his Beast Ring into the Driver's slot.
SET, O~OPEN: L-I-O-N: LION
Nitou soon transforms into Kamen Rider Beast and assumes his stance, and seeing him transform surprised Hydra as he stood back up.
"Two mages?!" Hydra said as he brought out his spear.
Wizard placed his hand on Beast's shoulder getting his attention as Wizard moved forward while still staring at him and changing to his gun's Sword Mode.
"Saa, showtime daa." Wizard said as he turned and charged at the Phantom.
"Eh...Then I'll go with…" Beast said as he looked at his Driver and came up with the perfect catchphrase for himself. "Lunchtime daa!"
"Lunchtime?!" Wizard's friends said in confusion.
Hydra slashes at Wizard with his spear and Wizard dodges it and soon swings his sword at the Phantom but he blocks his sword with his spear, that is when Beast jumps and smashes his knee on Hydra's shoulder, forcing both Wizard and the Phantom to stumble back.
Hydra then attacks Beast with his spear and Beast dodges it and parries the Phantom's next attack and lands a kick on his side.
"Move, Mayonnaise!" Wizard told him as he pushed Beast aside and swung his sword at Hydra and the Phantom clashed his spear against his sword.
"I said I'm…" Beast starts as he moves to both Wizard and the Phantom as they push each other away and Wizard lands two slashes on Hydra's chest. "Not Mayonnaise!"
Beast jumps over Wizard's back and lands several kicks on Hydra, and Wizard soon runs in front of the Phantom and pressed his sword on his spear and chest and pushed Hydra as Beast missed his next attack because of that.
"Painful: This is tough to watch." Yuzuru said and the others nodded in agreement.
"Yeah, it's hard to tell if they're fighting the Phantom, or each other." Kaguya said as she scratched her finger on her head.
Beast growled at Wizard for interfering as he charges at both him and Hydra and picks the Phantom away as he and Wizard were in a bladed lock, but then Beast turns his attention to Wizard as he drags him away from the Hydra.
"Hey!" Wizard said as both he and Beast stopped and turned at each other.
"Hey! Don't get in the way!" Beast told him.
"You're in the way!" Wizard stated but as the two were bickering, Hydra turned to them.
"No one told me there were two mages!" Hydra said and not liking his chances here, he jumps into the river to retreat as the two Riders and the others notice, and seeing that was much to Beast's dismay.
"Ah! My meal!" Beast shouted in dismay.
"He got away…" Mikie said as she and the others were saddened to see that.
Beast angrily turns to Wizard.
"I didn't get to eat him since you got in the way!" Beast stated.
"Forget that. Where's the Gate?" Wizard asks as he walks to Beast's side but the golden Rider turns to him in confusion.
"Huh? Gate?" Beast said in confusion.
The Gate and artist, Oikawa Hiroshi had arrived at his house after getting away from the Phantom, Hydra, as he stopped by the fence of it.
"What was that monster?" Hiroshi said in wonder as he opened the fence and soon entered his house.
"I'm home." Hiroshi called out as he entered the main room, which was filled with art supplies, tripods, and a few sculptures. "I just got back."
"Listen to this. You won't believe what happened to me." He said as he placed his bag and sketchbook on one of the chairs and moved to another room.
(Back with Shido and the others)
After Hydra had gotten away, Shido, Nitou, and others decided to go to the Donut Shop Hungry, Nitou was seated with Shido's friends as the manager had brought her newest creation.
"This is my big invention. The newest recipe: Mayonnaise Doughnuts!" She told them as she placed a plate of the said doughnuts to Nitou's table which was much to his joy as the donuts do indeed have mayonnaise on them with some seaweed as well.
"Oh! Itadakiyes!" Nitou said and soon picked up one of the doughnuts and began eating it.
"This is a new doughnut sensation that I created using mayonnaise as the hint." The Manager told him as she placed some plates on the girls table. "All of you have one."
As the Manager walks back to her truck/shop and Shido had picked out his usually plain sugar donut from Ryu as he walks to Nitou's table.
"I'll have my usual plain sugar." Shido told the Manager which was much to her and Ryu's dismay.
The Manager rushes to her truck as Ryu looks at her.
"It's hopeless, Boss! Let us go train!" Ryu told his boss.
"Understood! Let's go!" The Manager said in agreement as she grabs onto her employer's hands.
Nitou sighed in joy as he enjoyed the mayonnaise donut, before he noticed Shido taking a bite of his usual plain sugar.
"Hey, let me pour some on your-" Nitou said as he brought out his bottle to pour some mayo on Shido's donut.
"What are you doing?" Shido asked as he pushed his bottle away.
"Let me pour some." Nitou said as about to pour the mayo on his donut again.
"I don't want any!" Shido refused as he pushed his bottle away again.
"Just try some!" Nitou said before Shido stood up and shouted at him.
"Stop it, Mayonnaise!" And Nitou stood up as well.
"I told you I'm not Mayonnaise. This is Mayonnaise!" Nitou told him as he showed his bottle and slammed it on the table.
"I know that." Shido said as both him and Nitou sat back down on their chairs.
Tohka was enjoying the mayonnaise donut as she chews a piece of it in her mouth.
"Oh wow, this is really good!" Tohka said as she took another bite of the donut while the Spirits enjoyed their donuts as well.
"I still can't believe you lost the Gate." Rinne told Nitou. "I'm amazed you can calmly eat doughnuts like that."
Nitou was still confused by this whole Gate thing before he turned to her.
"What have you been going on about? What's a Gate?" Nitou asked.
"What? You didn't know that? Man you must be really dump! Hahaha!" Yoshino said as she laughed.
"Yoshinon, please, don't be rude." Yoshino told her puppet.
"Gates are humans with high magical power." Shido said, getting Nitou's attention. "Phantoms attack Gates to drive them to despair."
Nitou hummed as he somewhat understood that before he remembered something.
"Oh…Speaking of which...I did see it attack a man drawing something." Nitou said which surprised Rinne and Mikie as they almost choked on their drinks before they stood up.
"That's it! That guy must be the Gate." Mikie said.
"We've got to find him quickly." Rinne said.
"Yeah." Shido nodded as he contacted Kotori with his communicator. "Kotori, did you get all that?"
"I did. We'll review any surveillance around that area. I'll let you know if I find anything." Kotori said before she ended the transmission.
"Wait a moment!" Nitou said as he stood up and caught everyone's attention while the Manager and Ryu were playing badminton together before he walked forward for a few feet. "So that means...if I watched a Gate, I'd be able to find Phantoms. In other words...Gates are Phantom lures!" He said as he turned back to Shido and the others as they facefaulted and even the Manager as she trips on her feet.
"Wrong!" Shido told him.
"Ummm...Shido-san, is he really a mage like you?" Yoshino asked.
"That's my line!" Nitou said before he walks in front of Shido. "You're a mage, but you can live without eating the Phantoms' Mana?! And you have a harem of super cute girls?!"
"I don't know how the harem part is adequate, but yeah." Shido answered.
"That's not fair!" Nitou whined in jealousy against Shido.
"Anyway, Mayonnaise…" Shido said.
"Remember my name already! I'm Nitou Kousuke!" Nitou reminded Shido.
"Then, Nitou, how did you become a mage?" Shido asked.
"Oh? So you do have an interest in your rival?" Nitou asked with a cheeky grin on his face. "Fine, say no more."
Nitou then turns to Shido's friends.
"I'm sure you can't help but wonder." Nitou told them before he placed his donut on his plate. "Alright. If you want to know that badly, I'll tell you."
Nitou then sits down on the ground and soon begins his backstory.
"I may not look it, but I'm actually a college student. My major is in archaeology." Nitou said and Tohka blinked in confusion as she finished her donut.
"Archoberry? What's that? Some sort of tasty fruit?!" Tohka asked with excitement and Nitou almost facefaulted to hear that before Rinne explained it to her.
"No, Tohka. It's archaeology, it's the study where people research lost and ancient ruins and artifacts." Rinne explained.
"Oh I see. Sorry about that." Tohka said as she rubs the back of her head.
"It's alright." Nitou said as he coughed in his hand. "Anyway, back to my backstory. Around two months ago…"
(Flashback)
"I was investigating some ruins where…"
Nitou wearing and using climbing gear was seen scaling down a stone statue, to study its surface and that's when he spotted a magic circle picture embedded in the stone.
"What?" Nitou said as he gently touched and being a little curious he pressed on it and it popped backwards leaving a hole and the wall in front of it opened up and Nitou fell through a tunnel and fell on the ground and the inside of a cave.
"That hurt!" Nitou groaned as he sat up and saw that he was inside of a cave.
Nitou soon brings out a flashlight to look around.
"What is this place?!" Nitou wonders out loud as he stands up and walks forward and soon spotted something that caught his attention as he runs to it.
It was a stone lithograph that was shaped in Beast's symbol that was covered in dirt.
"A lithograph? What an awesome find!" Nitou said as he dusted the dirt away with his hand and that is when he spotted the Beast Ring on the lithograph. "What's this?"
Nitou then pulled the Ring out of the graph to closely look at it, and that is when it lit up which surprised Nitou as he backed away from the Beast Driver appearing from the lithograph as the light died down.
When Nitou saw the Driver, he picked it up to look at it.
"A belt?" Nitou said and being curious he placed the Driver on his waist and soon attached itself on his body as a belt appeared around his waist, and Nitou was surprised by this.
He soon felt the cave shaking all around him.
"W-What?!" Nitou said in confusion on what's going on.
As the cave was shaking, stone rocks began to fall off the walls and ceilings and then those rocks grew into Ghouls.
Nitou was both in shock and fear to see the Ghouls appearing around him.
"Monsters!" Nitou said as the Ghouls brought out their spears and slowly moved towards him.
"Use the Ring." A voice told him.
"Eh?" Nitou said as he looked around for the source of that voice.
"Use the Ring!"
"Ring?!" Nitou said as he looked down at the Driver on his waist and turned to the Ring in his hand.
Having no choice here, Nitou quickly removes his left glove and puts the Ring on his finger.
"Use it?!" Nitou looked at the Driver and saw the slot which was a perfect fit for the Ring that was on it. "Here?'
Nitou inserted the Ring into the slot and twisted the Ring inside.
SET, OPEN
As the Driver opened up, Nitou then felt a pulse of energy spreading throughout his body and everything froze around him and soon found himself in a dark space.
Then a large Phantom appeared in front of the young college student.
It was a chimera and looks mechanical like Shido's Dragon, and has the heads of different animals for body parts.
The chimera's body was that of a lion's, it has two wings that was attach to the head of a dolphin and falco on its shoulders, on its chest is the head of a buffalo, and has the head of a chameleon on its backside with it's tongue acting like a tail as it was sticking out.
This is the Beast Chimera.
"What?!" Nitou said as he was stunned to see Chimera in front of him.
"I am Chimera. Nitou Kousuke, you have opened the doors of the belt and become one with me." Chimera explained as he flew around Nitou.
"Door?! What are you saying?!" Nitou asked in confusion.
"In exchange for granting you magic you must feed me mana. If you do not, your life will run out." Chimera told him.
"Huh?!" Nitou said as he was still confused by all of this.
"Now, defeat the Phantoms so that I may devour their mana! Mage Beast!" Chimera demanded as he jumps and entered Nitou's body becoming one with him.
L-I-O-N: LION
Nitou transforms into Beast, as he looks at his hands and touches his helmet.
(Cue: BEASTBITE by Rider Chips)
"What the heck is this?!" Beast shouted as he was surprised by the armored suit he was now wearing.
The Ghouls soon charges at Beast as three of them and attacks him one at a time, and Beast dodges their attacks, and saw another Ghoul attack him as it swings its spear and Beast catches it in his hand and blocks it with his forearm, and to Beast's surprised he didn't even feel it.
Using this chance, Beast smashed his elbow on the Ghoul's head two times, and spun it around to kick the Ghoul on the back.
"This'll work!" Beast said as he could do this.
Beast soon dodges two Ghouls' attacks as he throws the second one on the ground, and saw two more Ghouls attacking at his legs and he dodges their spears by jumping above them and smashes his knee on one of them.
Beast then sees two more Ghouls attacking behind him and Beast dodges their attacks by ducking under their spears, and soon grabs onto those Ghouls and smashes them to the ground, destroying them as they explode and their mana is soon devoured by his Driver and Beast was amazed when he saw that.
Another Ghoul swings its spear at Beast and the golden Rider catches it in his hand and uses it to block another Ghoul's attack heading towards him, and Beast soon pushed their spears away and spin kicks those Ghouls to the ground and lands a reverse spin kick on two other Ghouls behind him.
The down Ghouls soon exploded and their mana was soon devoured by his Driver.

"Alright!" Beast cheers in his first successful victory as a Mage and a Rider.
(End of flashback)
"That's it!" Nitou declared as he finished his story, and Shido and his friends were amazed by it.
"Since you found it in some ruins, I suppose it was something ancient?" Rinne concluded as she sat back down on her chair.
"Hmm...but if you don't defeat Phantoms and eat their mana, your life will run out...That's scary." Mikie said as she sat down on her chair while being a little afraid to hear that.
"Fearful: Even I would be scared if I was in your shoes." Yuzuru said.
"Also let me guess…" Yoshinon said. "The reason why you're here in Tengu City is because of the videos that were posted on the internet, that showed Phantoms showing up here and Shido-kun fighting them as Wizard, right?"
"Yeah. I was surprised when I found those, but this place seems like the perfect place where I can hunt down Phantoms for food. Also the name Kamen Rider sounds kinda catchy, so I decided to use it as well." Nitou said.
"That's his reason? Man what a kid." Kaguya chuckled.
"Statement: Like you're one to talk." Yuzuru told her sister in a teasing tone.
"What's that supposed to mean?" Kaguya asked.
"But do you finally get it?" Nitou said as he stood up and sat down on his chair and picked up his donut to bite on it. "I don't know if I'll be alive tomorrow."
"You don't seem very upset about it." Rinne said.
While they didn't notice, business was booming in the Donut Shop Hungry as several customers were ordering the newest mayonnaise donuts.
"You don't need to mana, right? So why are you after the Phantoms?" Nitou asked.
"To protect the Gates." Shido answered.
"Aren't the Gates total strangers? You owe them or something?" Nitou asked.
"Nope. I just can't let the Phantoms drive people to despair." Shido explained.
Nitou gasped in awe by Shido's cool attitude and reason for fighting the Phantoms.
"How cool! It must be pretty sweet when your life isn't at risk." Nitou stated and when she heard that Tohka stood up and looked down at him.
"Hey! Shido is…" Tohka started.
"Tohka." Shido calls out, stopping Tohka as she calms down. "For now, remember this." He said getting Nitou's attention before Shido stood up. "Gates driven to despair by the Phantoms-"
"No! Say no more!" Nitou said as he stood up and raised his hand in front of Shido. "I can tell you're doing your best. However, you should remember this. My life's at stake. If you don't need to eat mana...then don't get in my way." Nitou told him as he picked up his bag and left.
As the Manager was giving the customers their orders, she soon noticed Nitou leaving as she turned to him.
"Ah, come again!" The Manager told him.
"Thanks for the food." Nitou told her as he left.
"No problem!"
Shido could hum as he wonders how things will play out with Nitou around.
(Later)
It was now night in Tengu City, and the Phantom, Hydra, in human form is seen walking out of a sewer tunnel and jumping down into a riverway.
"Damn it! What the hell is going on?!" Hydra said as he walked in the riverway.
"Looks like you failed." Hydra looked up and saw both Medusa and Phoenix on street level as Medusa was leaning on a railing and Phoenix was sitting on it.
"Huh?! No one told me there were two mages!" Hydra told the Phantom Generals.
"Huh?" Phoenix said as he jumped down into the riverway and soon walked towards Hydra. "Don't wimp out just cuz there's more mages!"
"You've got to be joking." Hydra chuckles before he walks to Phoenix. "So who's the other one?"
"A primordial mage." They looked up and saw Wiseman standing on street level as he was looking down at them.
"Wiseman-sama?" Medusa said a little surprised that he's here before she bowed her head to him.
"In the past magic was studied just as science is now. That is the forbidden belt, sealed away by the Phantoms. He must have found it." Wiseman explained which made his servants a little curious. "A primordial mage devours a Phantom's mana. Be careful." He told them before he walked away.
"That's all you have for me?!" Hydra calls out before he turns to the Phantom Generals. "Two mages will make this a real pain in ass."
"Want me to help?" Phoenix offered and before Hydra could accept.
"No need for that." Medusa stated as the two Phantoms turned to her. "A mage for a mage…
(Next day)
It was now morning in the Omokagedo, and Shido receives contact from Kotori.
"Really? You know who the Gate is?" Shido asked.
"Yeah. His name is Oikawa Hiroshi, he's a pretty well known artist but he's currently on hiatus. We've checked out his home, but he wasn't there." Kotori told him.
"Well just knowing his name is enough. I'll go out and look for him." Shido said.
"Right, we'll try to find him on our end as well." Kotori said before she ended the transmission.
Shido soon turns to his friends.
"Okay, we're going to split up and find Hiroshi-san on ground level." Shido told them and they nodded in agreement.
"I'm going too. Better to have more people." Koyomi volunteered.
"Be careful." Wajima told them as they left the store together.
(Meanwhile)
The Phantom, Hydra, is seen emerging from a river looking for the Gate.
"Where the hell did the Gate go?!" Hydra said in frustration as he swam forward.
Shido's group decided to search in pairs. Tohka and Yoshino were searching for the Gate on the east side of town, Mikie and Rinne decided to take the north side, the Yamai Twins to the west side, and Shido and Koyomi decided to take the south as they ran forward together.
"I'm going this way." Koyomi told him.
"Don't overdo it." Shido told her and Koyomi nodded.
"You be careful, Shido." Koyomi told them before they split and ran into different directions.
But unknown to them is that the mysterious Phantom who calls himself, Sora, was watching as he was standing on top of a bridge while enjoying a piece of gum.
"Hmmm...Seems like the Yubiwa no Mahōtsukai had grown stronger since the last time I saw him. But still to think there's another mage now. Maybe it's about time, I start to have some fun." Sora said before he chuckles and leaves.
(With Nitou)
Nitou had set up camp in a park with a grill, and after having a nice meal, he scans his Driver On Ring on his belt.
DRIVER ON
Nitou's belt changes to its Driver mode as he stood up.
"Well, I've eaten...I hope I'll have a meal today too." Nitou said as he put on a new Ring, that has a picture of a green griffin and inserted it into a Ring slot on his Driver.
GRIFFIN, GO
Soon green and gold pieces appeared and assembled into a griffin. This is Nitou's PlaMonster and familiar, the Green Griffin.
"Please find a Phantom for me." Nitou told the familiar as he inserted the Ring onto its back as it came to life as he howled at its master. "I'm counting on you, my cute Griffin-chan."
Griffin soon flies away to search for a Phantom, and Nitou walks to his tent to take a nap.
"Alright." He said before Griffin come back as it smashed into Nitou's back sending him falling to the ground, Nitou soon stand up on his knees as he turns to the familiar. "Hey, what is it?! Get going already!"
Griffin then flies to a table he was using as walking on top of it was Medusa in Phantom form. Griffin flies up at the Phantom General's head before she smacks it away.
Nitou was surprised to see her here before him as he fell on his rear.
"Pleased to meet you, Inishie no Mahōtsukai." Medusa greeted the primordial mage as she bowed her head.
"The Phantom came to me! How lucky!" Nitou said as he stood back up and Medusa jumped off the table, and Nitou put on his Beast Ring. "Don't be shy. Let me eat you."
"Frist…" Medusa said as she changed into her human form. "We need to talk."
"Cute…" Nitou said as he admired Medusa's beauty.
As Shido was still searching for the Gate, he stopped as he was receiving a transmission from the Fraxinus.
"Shido, we found him. In fact he's close to you, at the waterfront." Kotori told him.
"Got it." Shido said as he ran to that said location.
Medusa had sat down on a bench as she said this to Nitou.
"You can have some of the Phantoms who are still Gates." Medusa told him.
"What's that mean?" Nitou asked.
"Didn't the ring mage tell you?" Medusa asked before she came to a 'realization'. "Maybe he didn't want you taking his portion of the Phantoms to eat."
"He said he didn't eat Phantoms!" Nitou stated and Medusa chuckles to hear that.
"You believed that lie?" She asked.
"Lie?!" Nitou repeated in both shock and confusion.
"As long as there are Gates, Phantoms can continue to multiply. That's why you should help us." Medusa suggested as she stood up and walked in front of him. "If you do that you can have the Phantoms born from Gates."
"Are you telling me the truth?" Nitou asked in suspicion.
"Whether you believe me is up to you." Medusa said as she took her leave and gave Nitou these parting words. "You can survive today eating the Phantoms you find...but unless new Phantoms are born...eventually you will run out of tomorrow."
This left Nitou in deep thought as he sat down.
The Gate and artist Oikawa Hiroshi was seated in front of a water front, and attempted to draw a picture of it on his sketchbook but stopped after a few traces with his pencil.
Hiroshi just sighed as he said.
"It's no use…" He was going to pack up his things and leave, but then heard movement in the water.
Jumping out of it was Hydra as he changes into his Phantom form as he lands in front of the artist, which frightens him as he falls off his chair.
"Hi! We meet again!" Hydra waved at Hiroshi before he walked to him, Hiroshi was about to crawl away but Hydra soon grabs him by the neck and slowly picks him up as he struggles to break free. "Oikawa Hiroshi. You're not getting away this time!"
Hydra then grabs hold of his shoulder and begins to choke him as Hiroshi passes out.
Hydra was about to take him away, but was soon fired upon on the back, forcing him to let go of Hiroshi as he fell to the ground. Hydra soon turned around and saw Shido armed with his gun and wearing his Driver standing behind him.
"We also met again!" Shido said.
"Yubiwa no Mahōtsukai!" Hydra said in some fear that he's here.
Shido flips the switches of his Driver.
SHABADOOBIE TOUCH TO HENSHIN
"You're not getting away from me. Henshin." Shido said as he put on his Flame Style Ring and pushed its goggles down, and scanned the Ring on his Driver.
FLAME, PLEASE: HI HI HI HI HI
Shido transforms into Wizard.
"Saa, showtime daa." Wizard declared as he showed his Ring.
Hydra huffed as he brought out his spear and charges at Wizard, and Wizard soon changes to his gun's Sword Mode and charges at Hydra.
Both Wizard and Hydra clash their weapons before Wizard ducks under the Phantom's next attack, and stabs at Hydra and the Phantom parries it with his spear and thrust at Wizard and the latter dodges and blocks under it.
Both Wizard and Hydra step back as Wizard dodgers under another attack from the Phantom, and Hydra was about to swing his spear at Wizard again and he parried it with his sword and lands a stab and several slashes on Hydra's chest which sends him rolling on the ground.
"What a pain…" Hydra said in annoyance as he stood up on his knee and foot and soon jumped to the river. "We'll fight here!"
Hydra dives into the water as Wizard runs and stops in front of the railing.
"Heh, too bad. I'm also pretty good in the water." Wizard said as he changes to his Water Style Ring and soon resets his Driver to scan the Ring on it.
WATER, PLEASE: SUI SUI SUI SUI
Wizard summons a blue magic circle in front of him as he jumps through it to change into his Water Style and dives into the river to follow Hydra.
Hydra was swimming deep in the water and soon turned around to face Wizard.
Hydra soon stretches out his tentacles and attacks Wizard with them, and manages to cut one of them away and block three that were stabbing at him but they still manage to scratch his shoulder.
Wizard soon changes to his Liquid Ring and resets his Driver to his right side and scans the Ring on it.
LIQUID, PLEASE
As Hydra's tentacles are about to pierce through Wizard's body, his body changes into water as he slips through the tentacles and moves towards the Phantom.
Wizard's liquefied body begins to surround Hydra as Wizard change back to normal and lands a stab on Hydra's chest and lands two slashes on his chest sending the Phantom out of the water as both he and Wizard jumps out of it as Wizard lands another slash on Hydra, followed with a kick sending Hydra back to the solid ground of the waterfront.
Hydra had fallen on his chest while Wizard landed on his feet as he faced the down Phantom.
Wizard soon changes to his Water Dragon Ring as he resets his Driver and scans the Ring on it.
WATER, DRAGON: Jabajaba Bashān, Zabun Zabun
Wizard changes into his Water Dragon Style as he waved both his arm and sword around. Hydra, now back on his feet, extends his tentacles at Wizard to attack.
Wizard quickly changes to his Blizzard Ring as he resets his Driver and scans the Ring on it.
CHOINE, BLIZZARD: SAIKO
Wizard soon unleashed a blizzard from a magic circle to freeze Hydra's tentacles as the latter was stunned by this, and Wizard shattered the Phantom's frozen tentacles with his sword as he charged at the Phantom and slashed on his chest sending Hydra rolling on the ground.
"Ow!" Hydra said.
Wizard chuckles as he changes to his Special Ring.
"Finale daa!" Wizard said as he reset his Driver and was about to scan the Special Ring until…
BUFFA
Wizard turns to the side to see Beast charging at him.
Beast wearing a red Mantle with a buffalo's head on the shoulder with golden horns and a nose ring and has golden markings on the Mantle and was wearing a red Ring with a picture of a buffalo on it, Beast is charging at Wizard in high speed as he jumps over the balcony and heads towards Wizard before he pushed him to the ground.
Beast rolled over Wizard as both he and Wizard turned at each other.
"Nitou?" Wizard said in confusion about what he just did.
As both Wizard and Beast were now standing on their feet, Beast soon brings out his Saber.
"Don't blame me for this." Beast said as he charges at Wizard and lands several powerful slashes on his chest and finishes with a stab that sends Wizard rolling on the ground.
"What are you doing?!" Wizard asked as he stood up on his hands.
"That's my line! How dare you trick me! You're also after the Phantoms' mana!" Beast stated.
"Huh?!" Wizard said as he stood back up.
"Don't play dumb!" Beast said as he charges at Wizard to attack and Wizard dodges his attack and soon blocks Beast's next attack as they locked their weapons together. "I heard from the female Phantom."
"Female Phantom?!" Wizard said before Beast pushed him back as the two began fighting each other.
Hydra chuckles as he stands back up and sees this as a perfect opportunity.
"Chance! I see an opening!" The Phantom said as he set his eyes on the unconscious Hiroshi and extended his tentacles at him.
Both Wizard and Beast notice it as they lock weapons again. Beast quickly pushes Wizard back and sends two energy slashes at Hydra's tentacles to cut them, preventing the Phantom from touching the Gate.
"You!" Beast said as he turned to Hydra and walked to him. "Why are you going after the Gate without permission?!"
"Huh?!" Hydra said in confusion.
"This is a good opportunity." Beast said as he turned to Wizard and Hydra one at a time. "Let me ask again. Mage or Phantom. Which one will benefit me more?"
"Damn...You've been tricked by the Phantoms." Wizard stated as he spun his sword and rested it on his other hand as Beast turned to him.
"Huh?!" Beast said as he turned at him.
"What is he babbling about?!" Hydra said before he charged at Beast as Wizard noticed.
"Here he comes." Wizard pointed out and Beast turns back to Hydra to dodge an attack from the Phantom as the two clash their weapons a few times before locking them together.
Wizard turns to Hiroshi and runs to the Gate, Beast notices that as he pushes Hydra away and gets in Wizard's way.
"Hey! You too!" Beast said.
"What are you doing?!" Wizard asked.
"I said we should talk first!" Beast stated before the both dodge an incoming attack from Hydra, as the three of them engage in a free way fight as both Rider dodges Hydra's attack and as Beast continues to prevent Wizard from moving towards Hiroshi.
Until Beast fought against both Wizard and Hydra at both sides before the screen freezes in front of him.

(Sore wa sore wa hatenai tabi. Kimi wo sukuu yūsha no monogatari.) (The screen showed the starry night sky above Tengu City, and then it lowered to Wizard's back as he was standing before it moved to his face as Wizard raised his head as the sun rose in front of him.)
(Aru otogi no kuni Tabidatsu wa yūsha) (Next it changes to the park where Shido and Tohka had their first date, as we see two Wizards striking a pose in Flame Style and Flame Dragon Style before we Yoshinon holding the Water Style Ring appearing on the screen as it change the background.)
(Sōgen kakenuke Mezasu wa ohime-sama) (Next we see Arubi Island and show two Wizards in Water Style and Water Dragon Style striking a pose, and next Tohka appears as she wears the Hurricane Style Ring as the background changes.)
(Makkura na dōkutsu kaze fuki-areru yama koeteku) (Next we see it was night time in Tengu City as the screen showed DEM's Japan Branch, and two Wizards in Hurricane Style and Hurricane Dragon Style standing on top of another building striking a pose, before Origami appeared wearing the Land Style Ring as the background changes to Tenguu Square and showed two Wizards in Land and Land Dragon Styles also striking a pose.)
(Tsurugi wo kazashite) (Sandalphone appears as it changes the screen, as we see Shido wounded and kneeling on the ground with the very same Angel in his hands as he had in front of him)
(Hitomi ni utsuru yūki no honō) (As Shido's powers healed his wounds, he looked up and stood on his feet.)
(Yami no te wo furi-harai kimi no te wo nigiru) (Next we see two hands appearing as they reach out and grab onto each other in a fingerlock and a brought light appears between them as it changes the screen white.)

Kono te wo gyutto tsukamaete) Then it changes to a black sword floating in the starry night sky as the screen moves down, as it did the Yamai Twins appeared, then changes to Kotori in her commander outfit licking her candy, then we see Miku smiling at the screen, then change to Yoshino and Yoshinon smiling as well. Next Tohka appeared on screen but she was wearing a dark and different Astral Dress and had an expression that makes it seem like she was a different person. Next we see Kurumi's face appearing on screen as she moves away from it.)
(Kienai yūki no honō ga (Dead or Alive) (Then as Kurumi fades away, flames appear out of nowhere as it covers and changes the background.)
(Sekai terashite-iru) (It changes to Tohka and Shido standing on a beach as they watch the setting sun while holding hands.)
