Qrow was sitting at the bar enjoying a drink, when he heard someone coming up behind him.
"Shut up." The person whispered.
Qrow turned around to see a kid with a backpack, and a... a shovel?
"I'm going to tell him." The kid said leaning to his left.
Qrow raised an eyebrow.
"Uh. I'm supposed to tell you, that, I'd like my cane back, please."
Qrow looked at the kid before he smirked. "Good to see you Oz." He said tossing 'Long Memory' to the kid.
'Long Memory' extended in the kid's arms causing the kid to fumble the cane.
'Heh.' Qrow thought. 'Looks like we've got a greenhorn."
Qrow led the kid back to the houses.
"Go on and knock." Qrow said. "Ask for Ruby Rose."
The kid knocked and the door was opened by a tall kid with blond hair.
"Yes?" He asked.
"Um. I'm looking for Ruby Rose."
The five occupants in the house jumped up and glared at him.
"Why?" A small girl with orange hair demanded.
"Guess what!" Qrow yelled pushing Oscar into the house. "I found Oz!"
"Qrow!?" Tai yelled. "Are you drunk?"
"Maybe a little." Qrow said falling for the couch but missed and hit the floor.
"Ow." He mumbled.
"QROW! I thought you told... no! Promised! I thought you promised Ruby and Summer that you would quit drinking!"
"I found Ozpin! That's something to celebrate."
"Celebrate means one glass Qrow! One!"
The door opened and six others came into the House followed by a corgi.
"I heard something and came over." A tall kid with black hair and a visor said. "And why the hell doesn't it smell like Ozpin has been working on a farm?"
"What?" Everyone but Qrow asked.
"Yeah. Ozpin smelled like mothballs, but now those mothballs smell like they've been sitting in a barn for only the brothers know how long."
"DAD!" A girl with black hair that slowly turned red yelled at the same time a woman who looked like an older version of the girl yelled. "QROW!"
"Present!" Qrow said lifting his arm up.
"Want me to take him back to your guy's room?" The kid with the visor asked.
"Yes. Thank you, Jason." The woman said.
"No problem... mom." Jason said before picking up Qrow.
The woman looked at Jason with both pride and embarrassment.
"I heard you talking with Qrow the other night. I figured I'd give it a try. Not as awkward as I thought it would be."
The woman beamed. "Thank you, Jason."
"You're welcome." Jason said lifting Qrow up and taking outside.
"Now." The girl said. "Why were my comics interrupted!"
Oscar looked at the girl. "You... have silver eyes."
"Who... are you." The girl asked.
"Well." Oscar said folding his arms behind his back. "My name is Oscar Pine, but you probably know me as Professor Ozpin?"
Everyone gasped to various degrees.
"Did he age Backwards?" Nora asked.
"Is he possessed?" Jaune asked.
"Did he Reincarnate?" Ren asked.
"It's so weird." Ruby said.
"Give him some space!" Summer said sternly.
Everyone backed up, and Oscar went to sit in a chair.
"It is very weird. Yes." Oscar said.
"This must be overwhelming." Weiss said.
"Yes." Oscar agreed.
Everyone took a few steps back.
"Thanks." Oscar said looking at Weiss.
"You're..." Weiss began.
Weiss was cut off when Oscars eyes glowed and he fell to the floor in spasms.
"OSCAR!" The yelled.
There was a thud, and they looked over to see Ruby convulsing on the floor as well.
"RUBY!" Summer and Tai yelled.
The door burst open, and Jason ran in.
"What happened?" He yelled.
"Ruby and Oscar!" Weiss yelled back.
Jason looked at them. "GET BACK!" He yelled.
Everyone dove for cover as an explosion of magical energy sent shockwaves out.
When the shockwaves ended, they stood up and saw Ruby and Oscar lying unconscious on the floor.
Jason used his hearing and sense of smell to look them over.
"This makes no sense." He spoke.
"What is it?" Weiss asked.
"They smell like them, but they smell... older."
"What?" Everyone asked.
"How is that possible?" Summer asked.
"I don't know."
"Make them more comfortable." Tai said. "Get pillows and blankets. They might have gone into shock!"
Jaune and Pyrrha ran upstairs and grabbed the blankets and pillows from their bed and ran back downstairs.
Jason moved Ruby and Oscars heads carefully, making sure to use his enhanced touch to feel for any injuries, and let Jaune and Pyrrha put the pillows under their heads before setting them back down gently.
Jaune and Pyrrha threw their blankets over them.
"What now?" Jaune asked.
"We wait." Ren said.
They sat down and watched Ruby and Oscar.
Jason sat down and listened to their bodies while they slept.
"What's he doing?" Whitley whispered.
"I'm listening to their bodies." Jason said in a voice barely above a whisper. "I'm trying to determine if they require medical attention or not."
"Well. Do they?"
"No. Though Oscar has a mild case of Pneumonia that will get worse if not taken care of."
"What about Ruby?"
"I'm not one hundred percent sure, but we might want to get chocolate, caffeine, comic books, and pain killers."
"What? Whitley asked. "Why?"
Everyone but Whitley cringed.
"What Whitley asked.
"Her period is starting." Weiss cringed. "The worst time of the month for a girl. Anywhere from three days to a week of cramps, and bleeding." She held her stomach in sympathy.
"Try being the only kid at home when all seven of your sisters' periods hit at almost the exact same time." Jaune said. "My dad would leave me at home with them, so I had to walk on eggshells all the time."
"You try dealing with period cramps!" Weiss snapped.
"Wait! What!" Whitley yelled. "You don't have those! Do you?"
"Yes Whitley." Weiss said. "I do. I have them once a month, and they are terrible."
"She does." Jason said. "When they hit, I try and keep Weiss as comfortable as possible while using my shadow clones to get her what she needs and help her to the best of my ability."
"Good man." Tai said. "I remember when Raven's would hit, and damn. You wouldn't want to be anywhere near her..."
Summer glared at Tai and tapped her foot. "I suppose you know what it's like when your uterine walls tear down because you aren't pregnant?"
Tai backed away and began sweating. "Um. No."
"Then quit acting like you do. At least Jason stays with Weiss while she's on hers. You and Qrow just up and left Raven and I when we were on ours!"
"Renny stays with me but makes sure to give me my space when I ask him to." Nora said. "Does Jason give you your space Weiss?"
"Yes. When I tell Jason, I need some space he leaves and comes back when I text him. Usually with chocolate, soda, painkillers, and a Romantic Comedy for us to watch."
Everyone looked at Jason with a mix of admiration and horror.
"What?" Jason asked. "I was told a long time ago that: "Happy Wife, Happy Life." I'm just trying to keep Weiss happy, and if that means I have to watch a movie about a man whose wife dies and her heart is given to another woman, and he ends up falling in love with that woman. I'll do it."
Summer smiled at Jason before glaring at Tai.
"What?" Tai asked. "You know as well as I do that Raven hated Romantic comedies."
"It's the thought that counts!"
"Why not yell at Qrow?"
"Because he breaks out in hives at the mere mention of Romcoms!"
"That explains a lot actually."
"Right!"
"Are we finished talking about periods and Romantic Comedies?" Whitley asked.
"Someday." Jason said. "You will find a nice girl... unless you swing the other way."
"If you mean am, I attracted to guys. The answer is no. Not that there is anything wrong with that, but I just don't swing that way."
"Understood. One day you will meet a nice girl, and she will have her period. It will be a test of your character how you react. If you react poorly, it will affect your relationship negatively. If you react well then it will have a positive effect on your relationship."
"I think I understand, partially anyway."
"Weiss?" Jason asked. "Do you want to explain, or do you want me to continue?"
"You can. I'm actually enjoying seeing you explain this. You are acting much more mature than most guys your age."
"Okay." Jason said turning to Whitley. "Whitley. If your significant other bleeds through the pad or tampon, how would you handle that?"
"I don't know."
"Well, whatever you do, don't treat her like crap. It's a difficult time for her, and the last thing she needs is you making it worse."
"Okay."
"If you are out and about, and you notice wrap your jacket around her waist, and get her home or buy her a new outfit so she can change."
"Okay."
"If you are in bed, and she wakes up in a pool of her own blood how would you handle that?"
"I would tell her to take a shower and get changed while I remake the bed, get her breakfast, and get her some stuff to make her as comfortable as possible?"
"There you go." Jason said putting his fist out for him.
"Um?"
"Fist bump." Jaune said. "Hit his fist with your fist."
Whitley punched Jason's fist, and winced in pain.
"Not that hard, but you get the basic idea."
"Okay." Whitley said shaking his fist.
"Now that you know." Jason said. "I don't expect you to use this information for a few more years, okay."
"Okay."
"You still have to respect girls though. Whether they are on their period or not."
"Otherwise, you'll kick my ass, right?"
"Language!" Summer yelled.
"Like you're one to talk Anderson." Nora said.
"What did you say!" The purifier yelled.
"Enough!" Jason yelled.
Nora and Summer calmed down.
"Thank you. Now..."
Ruby bolted upright and looked around in a panic.
She saw Oscar and grabbed him before she sped away as fast as she could.
They heard a door slam, and Jason heard the lock click.
"What was that?" Weiss asked.
"Shh." Jason said before listening.
"Jason." Ruby whispered so low that he had to listen for her voice. "If you can hear me then bring me up a glass of water with exactly seven ice cubes, two chocolate chip cookies, three Oatmeal raisin cookies, and a copy of Junes weapons monthly. You can find one in my room. You have to bring it up to us. Otherwise, we won't come down."
Jason ran to the other house and grabbed the copy of Junes Weapons monthly before running back over. He hadn't heard Ruby that scared in... well in ever.
He ran into the house, and put two chocolate chip cookies, and three oatmeal raisin cookies on a plate.
He grabbed a glass and put seven pieces of ice in it before filling it with water and taking it upstairs.
Summer took a step forward.
"No." Jason said. "Ruby is scared, and told me, and only me to come up for now. Please wait until I come back."
He continued upstairs, and found the room Ruby was hiding in.
He knocked, and the door unlocked a second later.
Jason saw Ruby trembling.
"Ruby?" He asked but was cut off when she pulled him into the room.
When the door was shut, and locked Ruby took the stuff from Jason and counted everything.
When she was satisfied with the amount, she put it on the desk and hugged Jason before breaking down.
"Ruby?" Jason asked. "What's wrong?"
Ruby just pushed her face into Jason's chest and sobbed.
Jason hugged Ruby tight enough to let her know he was there and let her cry.
Ruby cried until she fell asleep.
Jason picked her up and laid her on the bed next to Oscar and sat against the door.
He waited, standing silent vigilance for three days, until Ruby and Oscar woke up.
Ruby woke up first.
"Jason?" She asked.
Jason could hear the difference in her voice. She sounded much more mature than any sixteen-year-old should sound. She had witnessed death.
"What's wrong Ruby?"
Ruby shuddered. "We failed."
"Failed? What do you mean you failed?"
"I mean we failed. We tried fighting Salem, and we failed."
"What are you saying?"
"What month is it?"
"September. Why?"
"Because. Oscar and I came back in time from March of next year."
"What?"
"Yeah. We made it to Atlas, and everything was going fine. That is until Salem attacked."
"What happened?"
"She killed you first. You were giving this really awesome speech about how we could beat her, but then there was a flash of light, and you were gone. Turned to ash. Next was Scott. He was killed by this man and woman. They took his Aura down and killed him in only a few seconds."
"Seriously?"
"Yeah. After that we were picked off easily. Mom was taken, but Oscar and I managed to get away, and Ozpin told Oscar about magic stored in his cane that could send us back in time. We used it, and we woke up here."
"Oh Ruby." Jason said hugging her. "I'm so sorry."
"You don't think I'm crazy?"
"No. I can tell when you're lying, and you aren't. Do you know how the others died?"
Ruby curled into Jason's chest. "I don't want to talk about it."
"Well, who was all there?"
"JNPR, RWBY, SAPH, You, Coral, and Loki."
"Where was CFVY?"
"CFVY? They weren't there."
"Well, it looks like that reality has changed. I sent Team CFVY to Atlas the other day."
Ruby looked at Jason with hope in her eyes. "R-really?"
"Yeah."
"YES!" Ruby yelled jumping into Jason's arms while laughing and crying. "THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!"
"You're welcome." He said returning the hug.
They stayed like that for a while until Jason's scroll chimed and he looked at it before his entire Aura changed.
Three days earlier
Everyone watched Jason walkup the stairs.
"What do you think happened?" Jaune asked.
"I think that Ruby is terrified." Weiss said.
"Terrified or what?" Nora asked.
"I'm not sure, but we need to give her some space until she is feeling better."
"How long will that take?"
"I'm not sure."
That night Weiss walked up the stairs and sat in front of the door that she could feel Jason's presence coming from.
She put a hand on her stomach, more wishful than anything else, but she still wished for it.
'Heh.' She thought. 'A family.'
She sat down and leaned against the door before throwing her blanket around herself. She knew that Jason would know it was her.
Her thoughts turned to those of a family with Jason. Two kids running around while Ruby and Jaune chased them. Jason, Geoff, and Viridian in the garage fixing the car. Scott and Yang holding hands as they walked through the yard just talking and laughing. Whitley and Neo training by playing hide and seek. Other kids of various ages running around playing Huntsman or tag.
Weiss fell asleep against the door.
The next morning Weiss woke up when something wet touched her face.
"Stop it, Nora!" She scolded.
*Bark!* Zwei barked at her.
"Oh. I'm sorry Zwei." She said stretching.
Her joints and spine popped as she stretched, and she felt her muscles tighten.
"Ow wow!" She whined. "I need a massage."
Her Scroll chimed.
Jason Todd: I'll give you best massage you've ever had after Ruby and Oscar wake up.
She replied quickly.
Weiss Schnee: Thank you. I don't deserve you.
Jason Todd: No. I don't deserve you.
They exchanged kissing emoji's before Weiss went downstairs.
"How did you sleep?" Summer asked from the couch.
"Ugh." Weiss grumbled.
"One of those nights?"
"Yeah. I only have myself to blame though."
"We do crazy things when we're in love, don't we?" Summer asked.
"Yeah. When Jason and I first met we..." Weiss flashed back to their first day at Beacon. "... we didn't start on the best of terms."
"Some couples don't. I know that Qrow and I didn't."
"Did Qrow threaten to kill you because you insulted his sister?"
"No, but then again, Raven could take care of herself."
They were quiet for a moment.
"I'm assuming you insulted Ruby?"
"Yeah. I called her a dolt, and... to say Jason overreacted would be an understatement."
"Looks like Ruby got that from me."
"Wait. You're not mad that I was mean to Ruby?"
"No. You're still a child... well, compared to me anyways. Children do stupid things every now and then. It's called growing up."
"I've done a lot of growing up these past few months."
"I can see that."
"What do you mean?"
"Did you know that before Jason left for Atlas, he was afraid that you would leave because he was technically blind?"
"No. In fact, I didn't even know about his eyes until I took his helmet off. He explained what had happened, but honestly. I was just glad he was safe."
"I'm glad you feel that way. You make Jason happy."
"He makes me happy too."
"I can tell, and it's not because of the sex. You two have a spark that I haven't seen before. You both have suffered in the past, but you two look past the scars, both physical and emotional, and you guys built a relationship on that. I'm so proud of you both."
Weiss blushed at that. "Thank you."
Summer opened her arms, and Weiss hugged her.
Weiss cried when she felt Summer's arms wrap around her. It was so nice to be wrapped in a mother's embrace again.
Summer let Weiss cry as she held her.
The rest of the day was pretty boring.
Whitley and Neo were sparring again, and while Whitley was getting better. He still lost.
Jaune and Pyrrha were also Sparring, and they were evenly matched so long as Pyrrha didn't use her Semblance.
Everyone was just so worried about Ruby, and to a lesser extent Oscar, but they were still worried.
The rest of the day was just so dismal that they didn't want to do anything.
That night Weiss sat out in front of the door, and her Scroll chimed.
Jason Todd: go sleep in our room. Unless you want a really good massage."
Weiss Schnee: I won't, and I do. I want to be with you, even if it's through a door."
Jason Todd: okay. Good night. Love you.
Weiss Schnee: love you too. Good night.
They exchanged a kissing emoji before Weiss went to sleep.
The next day was twice as dismal as the day before, and they just stayed in their rooms, except for Weiss. She stayed outside the room Jason, Ruby, and Oscar were in.
She fell asleep that night and woke up the following morning to a text message.
Jason Todd: Ruby and Oscar are awake. You can go get ready. Let me know when you're ready."
Weiss Schnee: Okay. See you in a bit love you.
Jason Todd: Love you too.
Weiss grabbed her Lien card and 'Myrtenaster.' Before she left for Mistral.
When she arrived in Mistral, she went to the lingerie store and bought a new lacy bra with matching panties.
'This will completely blow his mind.' She thought.
The next place she went was the spa to buy her favorite lotions, essential oils, and creams.
She was on her way back to Haven Academy when something landed in front of her and exploded into yellow smoke.
'Shit.' She thought before passing out.
When she woke up her hands were handcuffed behind her back.
"What happened?" She asked.
"Oh goody, goody." A low husky voice said from the shadows. "You're awake. Now the fun can begin."
"What do you..."
She was cut off as something hit her, and pain shot though her chest.
"AAAHHHH!" She shrieked in agony.
It hurt to breathe. Like being stabbed repeatedly.
"Oops. It looks like I broke your collarbone. That's going to hurt. Here let me help you with that."
He swung again, and Weiss felt something in her leg break.
She cried out in agony again.
"Whoops. Looks like I made it worse. There goes your leg."
Weiss curled in on herself, but the man kept swinging and hitting her making her cry out in agony each time.
"Are you wondering why you're Aura hasn't activated yet? It's because that gas you inhaled is suppressing it. That means we can play for as long as I want."
He hit her back breaking a rib.
Weiss shrieked, and started panting.
Each breath felt like she was being stabbed with glass.
"Oops. Looks like I broke a rib. I'd be careful if I were you. You could puncture a lung that way."
"Wh-why are you do-doing this?" Weiss Wheezed through the pain.
"Why does everyone ask me that? I mean seriously. Why does everyone ask that? Even I don't know! If I don't know then why do people, ask me? Unless you mean why I'm doing this to you. Is that what you mean?"
"Yes." Weiss Wheezed.
"Oh. That's simple. I'm doing this so I can burn your boy toy. I want to burn his heart out."
"No!" Weiss yelled feebly before coughing. Sending stabbing pain through her body.
"Oh. Now you've gone and done it. You've made me feel. I hate feeling!"
He hit Weiss for a full minute until she coughed up blood.
"Ooh. You might have a collapsed lung. Oh well. More fun for me I guess."
He kept hitting her until he heard something break.
"Did I tell you that I wanted to burn your boy toys heart out? Yes, yes, I did. Did I tell you why? No? Okay. It's because... did I tell you why I chose you?"
He looked at Weiss. "No. It's because you are his heart. He can just shut his pain off, but he can't shut off his feelings. So, if I hurt you, I'm hurting his heart, and I intend to break him."
Weiss's eyes widened in horror.
"No, no, no, no. Don't worry. I'm not going to kill you, or him for that matter, but I am going to hurt you a lot. I think your face."
He put something slick on her face.
She looked down and saw that it was a bloody crowbar. He'd been beating her with a crowbar.
"But first." He said grabbing her ponytail and pulling her up by it. "Time to take a selfie."
There was a flash of light and she saw her attackers horrifying face.
He was pasty white with two scars on his face creating a cruel smile that was enhanced by red paint.
"Am I scary?" He asked walking into the light.
Weiss had seen a lot of scary shit in the past, but this man, no. This monster. Took the cake.
The malice rolling off him was intense. He was truly terrifying.
Then he laughed. A laugh that sent shivers down her spine and made her flesh crawl.
A laugh that gave no hope or levity. There was no humor behind this laugh.
This laugh was sheer insanity, and it broke through Weiss's last semblance of hope causing her to scream out in terror.
The man laughed at her fear but stopped when he noticed something.
"Ooh. Bonus points! I've humiliated you now."
When Weiss didn't answer he hit her in the face.
"Oh well. If you won't acknowledge your humiliation, then I will just beat you some more."
Weiss laid on the floor a wreck. This man had drugged her, beat her, terrified her, and now that she was lying in a pool of her own urine, she was humiliated. He had shattered her pride, and she did the only thing that she could think of.
She cried.
The man laughed as he hit her in the face with 'Tragedy', his Crowbar/Aerosol gun. He would have used 'Comedy', but it wasn't the right time. He was saving 'Comedy' for Jason.
When he was done beating Weiss, he grabbed her by the ponytail again, and brought her up before taking another picture.
He dropped her and began typing some commands into her scroll before showing her.
Weiss looked up at the horrifying image on her Scroll.
It was a picture of the man holding her by her ponytail and smiling a sick and twisted smile.
He began typing something else and spoke. "Okay. Now that those have been sent. It's time to get you ready for your big date."
He grabbed Weiss by her dress and ripped it off her leaving her in her bra and panties.
"Oh no, no. This will never work." He spoke.
He walked over to the bag and pulled out the lacy undergarments before changing her into them making sure that she knew what he was doing.
He pulled the essential oils out of the bag and began pouring them all over her before he took the lotions and creams out and lathered her in the fragrant cosmetics, lingering on certain parts of her body for added effect.
The last thing he did was pull an expensive bottle of champagne out of nowhere and popped the cork letting the bubbles fall on her.
Once the champagne had fizzled out, he shoved the neck down her throat, moving it in and out of her throat until she had consumed half the bottle.
She coughed when he pulled the neck out of her throat.
"There ya go. Just cough it up, and everything will be fine."
The faintest smell of ozone appeared in the air, and a *Click Clack* came from the shadows.
"What did you DO!" Jason yelled from the shadows.
Back at Haven Academy
Jason's Scroll chimed and he looked at it to see it was from Weiss.
He opened his Scroll and saw two pictures of Weiss.
Ruby gasped when she saw them.
The first showed a bruised and bleeding Weiss being held up by her ponytail while a man with pasty white skin and scars in the shape of a smile and red face paint smiled maliciously.
The second picture was of Weiss with a bruised and bleeding face being held by the same man.
His Scroll chimed again, and a video appeared with the caption "Watch this.'.
Jason and Ruby watched the video. Ruby in growing horror, and Jason with growing rage.
When the video was done, a new message with an address on it appeared.
Jason cut the air in front of him and walked through.
Ruby ran downstairs with Jason's Scroll to show the others.
Back at the warehouse
A portal opened and Jason walked out of it with a *Click Clack*
He looked around and saw Weiss bleeding and broken on the floor in Lingerie covered from head to toe with lotions, creams, and essential oils based on the smells. There was also the smell of Champagne, blood, and urine in the air.
"What did you DO!" He yelled.
"Oh. Jason!" The monster yelled. "Didn't see ya there. How are ya doing?"
Jason shot off at the man who disappeared.
Jason went to Weiss and took his shirt off covering her.
He also saw multiple broken bones.
He grabbed the handcuffs keeping her hands behind her back and broke them before laying her down on the ground to make her as comfortable as possible.
"J...son." Weiss wheezed.
"No. I'm sorry." He cried. "I'm so sorry. You just rest here, and I'll take care of him."
"Oh, will you now?" The man asked.
"Yes." Jason said drawing 'Scarlet and dropping 'Sunrise'. "I'm going to make you pay for what you did to her."
"Don't you want to get her somewhere safe first?"
"Would you let me?"
"No."
Jason slashed at the ground trying to create a portal back to Ruby, but 'Scarlet' was caught.
He looked down and saw a crowbar.
"I can't let you do that." The man said. "I can't let you escape.'
Jason jumped at the man before swinging.
The man disappeared and reappeared behind Jason hitting him in the back of the head with his crowbar.
Jason spun around trying to decapitate the man, but he disappeared and reappeared hitting Jason in the back of the head again and knocking him to his knees.
Jason swung 'Scarlet' trying to cut the man's legs off, but he disappeared again, and hit Jason in the face knocking his visor off.
"Oh. I'm sorry. Did you need that?"
Jason swung 'Scarlet' forward but missed again.
"Where are you!" He yelled.
"That would be telling." The man said as his voice reverberated throughout the warehouse.
"WHERE ARE YOU!"
"Use your other senses to figure it out... Alpha."
The man began hitting Jason from everywhere causing bruises to form, and bones to break.
Jason felt his arm break, but he swung 'Scarlet', and was blocked with the man's crowbar causing his arm to hurt.
He shut his sense of touch off so he could focus.
The man hit Jason's kneecap, causing him to limp forward.
He hit Jason's other leg making him slow down considerably.
The man swung at Jason and knocked him onto his back before hitting him until he lost consciousness.
When Jason woke up his hands were handcuffed behind his back, and something was in his mouth.
He bit down and felt glass.
The tingle in the back of his throat and the taste on his tongue told him it was Champagne.
The bottle was ripped from his mouth almost breaking two of his teeth.
"Time for you to go to sleep." The man said hitting Jason in the face until he passed out.
"Good boy."
The man walked over to Weiss and dropped something in front of her. "Tell him when he wakes up that if he doesn't kill me next time, that I will kill you."
Weiss looked at the card he dropped and saw a joker on the card.
The man left the warehouse laughing his signature cackle.
Weiss summoned the last dregs of her strength and crawled over to Jason, pushing through the excruciating pain.
When she reached him, she curled up next to him.
Within a few minutes she passed out.
She heard voices as she slept.
"Oh gods! Who did this to them!"
"Check the perimeter!"
"We need to get them back to Haven!"
"I know that! But if we don't move them carefully, they could be hurt even worse!"
"What could be worse than this!"
"How are we going to get them back to Haven?"
"Let me through! I can amplify their Aura enough to heal them!
Weiss was wrapped in warmth before her mind finally calmed down.
Weiss woke with a start.
"LET ME GO! JASON! NO! JASON! HELP!"
"Weiss!" Jason said firmly. "Weiss! I'm right here!"
Weiss grabbed Jason in a bear hug and held on like her life depended on it. "JASON!" She cried. "JASON! I was so scared! I was so scared!"
"I know." Jason said holding Weiss tight. "I know. I'm here. I'm right here."
"I was so scared. It hurt so much. It hurt. I hurt so much."
"I know." Jason said hugging her tighter. "I know."
"I was so scared."
"I know."
Jason held Weiss while she cried herself to sleep.
When Weiss was asleep Jason created a Shadow Clone and left the room.
He headed towards the training room.
Summer was walking the halls of Haven Academy when she heard someone yell from the training room.
She looked inside and saw Jason kick a tungsten/lead alloy block hard enough to knock it off the chains keeping it suspended.
She looked around and saw that the room was full of destroyed dummies, other tungsten/lead alloy blocks, and broken equipment.
"Jason?" She asked.
"What!" Jason demanded, panting heavily.
"Jason. Please. Talk to me."
Jason felt emotional agony rise in his throat. "Weiss got hurt, and there was nothing I could do about it. It hurts so much. Knowing I let her down like that. How can I face her knowing I let her down?"
"Shut up you daft b•••••d!" Anderson yelled. "You didn't know about the B•••••D who did that to her, and as soon as you found out she was in trouble you ran to find her! How can you be the Alpha if you're such a b•••h! The Alpha's I knew would pick themselves up, dust themselves off, and kick that guys a•s."
"HOW!" Jason yelled back. "THE GUY WAS EVERYWHERE! HOW THE FUCK DO YOU EXPECT ME TO FIGHT A GUY LIKE THAT!"
"Like this!" Anderson yelled flicking 'Briar Rose' out of Summer's sheaths and attacked Jason.
Jason ducked and weaved out of Summers reach.
"Dodge this!" Anderson yelled before becoming a twister of rose petals. "Petal Storm!"
Tri blades flew out of the twister hitting everything.
When she stopped, she looked at Jason who had a dozen Tri blades sticking out of his body.
She called them back. "When you can Dodge all of those, you'll be ready to fight and kill the b•••••d. Now. Get back to your fiancé. She'll need you now more than ever."
Jason left the training room and went back to his and Weiss's room.
When he got back to the room, he heard the shower running.
He sat down in the chair next to the bed and heaved a heavy sigh.
A few minutes later the shower turned off and Weiss came out wearing a towel around her bust and hair.
She wrapped her arms around him. "Hey." She spoke.
He grabbed her wrist and shuddered. "I'm so sorry." He said with a shaky breath.
"I know that you did all that you could. I was scared, and it hurt, but I don't blame you for what he did to me."
"How can you be okay with this?"
"I told you. That's not the first time I've been kidnapped or held hostage. It's still scary, and I'm going to need time to cope with it, but I'll survive. I always do."
Jason pulled her in front of him. "Was it your first time being tortured?"
"No."
"I'm so sorry." He said hugging her.
"Though it was the most painful and terrifying."
They sat in silence for a few minutes.
"Come on." Weiss said taking his hand.
"Where?"
"The bathroom. You're going to help me with something."
The next day
Everyone gathered in the front room of JNPR's house.
"Wow." Ruby said. "Weiss. Your hair looks so pretty!"
"Sister." Whitley said with a bowed head. "I like this one better than your last dye job."
"I agree. Red isn't really my color."
"How do you feel?" Ren asked. About the other day I mean?"
"I would much rather forget about it. Hence the dye job and tomorrow Jason and I are not to be bothered all day. Twenty-four hours of just us."
"Then I won't keep you." Oscar said in a dignified manner. "I am Oscar Pine, but you might know me better as Professor Ozpin."
"We know about your reincarnations headmaster." Jason said. "We know about Salem."
"I see. Are you not angry at me? If so, please don't take it out on Oscar. The last time you, Mr. Allen, Qrow, and Mr. Arc nearly killed him."
"We won't. As far as we can tell, you came from a different reality. What happened?"
Ozpin sighed. "We were unprepared for what Salem had to offer."
She tried breaking Ruby and I by watching her agents kill and torture the others."
"What did she do?"
Ruby buried her face in Summer's cloak.
In an alternate reality
"Okay guys." Jason said. "I know that Salem is supposed to be immortal and everything but look at us. We have done the impossible time, and time again. We may not be able to kill Salem, but that doesn't mean that we can't stop her."
"How?" Nora asked. "She can't die."
"Tear her apart, and separate the pieces as far as..."
There was a brilliant flash of light, and when the smoke cleared the crater was empty with 'Scarlet Sunrise' the only reminder that Jason had been there.
"NNOOO!" The group yelled.
The Grimm attacked, being led by a man and woman, they quickly overpowered the group.
The man and woman killed Scott after whittling down his Aura before he fell to his knees.
The woman grabbed him by his hair and pulled up.
He scowled at them.
The man took his twin Longswords and decapitated him before freezing his head with ice Dust to show Salem.
Tyrian used his agility to knock 'Harbinger' from Qrow's hand and stabbed him repeatedly with his new cybernetic tail. "I learned my lesson from our last fight." He cackled gleefully.
Qrow died coughing up his liquified insides.
Adam took 'Agony' and cut Yang's and Blake's Limbs off before he killed Yang and dragged Blake away.
He had his prize.
Hazel killed Tai by crushing his skull. While Watts took out Team JNPR with his Hard light Dust emitters, and Tyrian used his Scorpion tail and agility to kill the rest of SAPH.
The only ones they kept alive were Ruby, Summer, and Oscar.
They were dragged to Salem's base, and Summer was fused to a Grimm.
"That's when Ruby and I escaped by using my Semblance." Oscar said.
"What's your Semblance?" Nora asked.
Oscar tapped 'Long Memory' three times before the world rewound three minutes.
"I call it Rewind."
"That's so cool!"
"Yes. I suppose it is."
"Wait." Weiss said. "Where was I?"
"You... um." Ruby began tapping her index fingers together. "You... uh. You weren't there."
"What do you mean I wasn't there? Did I die before then?"
"NO!" Ruby shouted. "No! You weren't there for a completely different reason."
"Well. What was it?"
Ruby blushed before using her hands to simulate a swollen stomach.
"I was..."
Jason, who had taken a drink of water, spat it out. "What!" He coughed when he realized what Ruby was saying.
"Weiss." Ruby said. "You and Jason in that future were expecting a little girl. You were going to name her Frost."
"What?" Jason said.
"We were going to have a daughter?" Weiss asked with a smile and a faint hint of a blush.
"Yes." Oscar said.
"Wait!" Nora said. "You told us that your Semblance takes you back three minutes. How did you get back here? That's..." she started counting on her fingers. "That's a lot more than three minutes."
"I can answer that." Ozpin said taking control. "My Cane, 'Long Memory', has been absorbing tiny grains of my magic, Aura, Semblances ever since I built it. I was able to send Oscar and Miss Rose back to the time they would make the most impact. I have enough stored up that I can get at least one large scale attack and send two more people back in time... should then need arise." He clarified.
Jason felt Ozpin looking at him.
"So, what is your Semblance, Headmaster?" Pyrrha asked.
"I have had several in my many lifetimes. Mine was the ability to see where people would thrive. Where they should go. Where they could make the most difference. Therefore, I didn't expel Mr. Arc. I saw that he would become an excellent Huntsman, and an excellent strategist."
Jaune blushed at that.
They sat in silence for several minutes after that.
"I can see that we've given you a lot to think about." Ozpin said. "Take the rest of the week to prepare yourselves. Next week, the real training begins."
Everyone went their separate ways.
Jaune and Pyrrha went to their room upstairs.
Ren and Nora went to the kitchen.
Ruby and Oscar went to the other house and curled up on the couch with a blanket and a box of cookies.
Summer and Qrow went back to their room.
Tai laid down on the couch in the JNPR house.
Zwei jumped up on his stomach and fell asleep.
Whitley went to the training area out back and began exercising to help him think.
Jason and Weiss went to their room.
Weiss sat on the bed, and Jason sat in the desk chair.
"Well?" Jason asked. "What are your thoughts on that?"
"What do I think?" Weiss asked. "Jason. You died, and we were going to have a daughter. Not to mention the fact that the rest of our friends and family died. What am I supposed to think? The only good thing about that situation was we were going to have a daughter."
"A daughter who would grow up in hell if she didn't die first. For all we know Jacques found you, killed her, and gave you to Arthur Marigold."
"And who's fault is that!" Weiss yelled before she could stop herself.
Jason looked at her before speaking again.
"It's mine. It's my fault for not killing Arthur Marigold. It's mine for not killing Jacques. And it's mine for not being strong enough to protect you."
He pulled a small black box out dropped it. "You deserve someone who can protect you."
Jason turned to leave, but Weiss had other plans.
"What the fuck is wrong with you!" She yelled creating a grip glyph, stopping Jason in his tracks.
She spun him around and pulled him towards her.
She stood up on the bed and glared down at him.
"What the hell is wrong with you! You lost one fight, and now you are this pathetic wreck of a man! NO! So, what!"
"He nearly killed both of us without even trying!"
"And that was his mistake!" She held up her engagement ring. "I chose you! Now you're stuck with me in life or death! Since he left us alive that means we have an advantage."
"And what advantage is that?"
"You are the Red Hood, and I am the ice Queen! We are Beacon's power couple! And we won't let some psycho with a crowbar stop us! The next time we see him we are going to kick his ass!"
Something stirred inside Jason, and it felt like he wanted to run.
"Weiss." Jason said.
"What?" Weiss asked.
"I need you."
"Then what are you waiting for?" She asked removing the grip Glyph.
Jason picked Weiss up and kissed her with a passion, that sparked something in her.
She took his visor off and kissed his neck. "Use your touch at one hundred percent." She whispered into his ear.
He let his touch increase to one hundred percent and could feel everything.
He could feel Weiss pressed up against him.
He could feel her body pulse under his touch.
He could feel the heat radiating off her body.
He felt the grooves of her lips press into his neck and face, the air leaving her nostrils as she breathed.
He felt the air flutter each time she blinked.
He felt the tension in her body, and the tightness of her muscles.
He grabbed her white hoodie and pulled it off while she unzipped his hoodie and tore it off his arms.
He grabbed her shirt and pulled it off, careful not to pull her hair or choke her.
He threw he shirt to the floor, and picked her up kissing her neck, and moving up.
She grabbed his shirt and pulled it over his head and threw it to the floor.
He moved up her face until he found her lips and kissed her passionately.
She returned the kiss while raking her fingers through his hair.
He used his sense of touch to feel the way her body reacted to his touch.
He used his hearing to listen to every sound she made making sure to keep her in a near constant state of pleasure.
She grabbed his pants and pulled them off before he did the same for her.
They stopped only long enough to take their boots off before they continued.
Jason laid her on the bed, and rubbed her arms and legs pulling gasps and moans from her.
He rubbed her stomach, sides, and chest before she grabbed his hand.
"Not there." She said with a hint of fear in her voice.
Jason stopped, but she grabbed his arm, and pulled him on the bed before she looked at him.
"You think that I don't know what you were doing?" She smiled.
"Um. What do you think I was doing?"
"Using your senses to amplify my pleasure."
"Guilty as charged."
"My turn to return the favor. Keep your sense of touch up." She said before she kissed him on the lips and worked down to his neck before she rolled him over and laid on his back, kissing the back of his neck.
She rubbed her hands up and down his sides using her nails to scratch them lightly.
The feeling caused him to shudder.
"I'm not ready to make love again." Weiss said, her voice catching in her throat. "Not right now. Not after what he did. I'm sorry for getting you worked up, but I thought..."
Jason looked over his shoulder at her. "Don't apologize." He said softly. "I'm not going to force you to do something that you don't want to or can't do."
"Thank you." She spoke.
They just laid there for a while enjoying each other's company.
After a while Weiss got up.
"I need a shower." She spoke.
"Enjoy yourself." Jason replied.
She grabbed his hand and pulled him with her into the bathroom.
The next morning.
Jason woke up the next morning and rolled over to see Weiss sleeping peacefully.
He created and shadow clone and took control of it before walking downstairs and made breakfast for him and Weiss.
He walked up stairs and put the breakfast on the desk before causing the shadow clone to disappear.
He pulled Weiss closer, and she snuggled into his chest.
They stayed like that for a few more hours until Weiss woke up.
Weiss woke up to see that she was being held by Jason.
"Good morning." She spoke.
"Good morning." He replied. "Ready for your 'all about you' day?"
"It's not all about me."
"It is if I have anything to say about it."
Jason created a shadow clone and brought the food over.
"It's still warm. I grabbed a Dust heater to keep the food warm while you slept."
"You did this while I slept?"
"Yeah."
"Thank you." She said kissing him.
"You're welcome." He said kissing her back.
They ate in silence, and when they were done, Jason used a shadow clone to take the dishes downstairs.
"Now." He said getting out of bed and picking Weiss up. "How would you like your bath?"
"What about that massage you still owe me?" She asked wrapping her arms around his neck.
"Would you like that first?"
"Yes." She said kissing him on the nose.
"Okay." He said laying her on the bed before taking off her clothes and rolling her over, so she was lying face down.
He started at her neck. Kneading the muscles in between his fingers making her moan.
"You're really tense." He spoke.
"I wonder why?" She replied.
He relied on his sense of touch to tell him what she liked and didn't like as well as how much pressure he needed to apply.
Once done massaging her neck he moved down to her arms making sure to knead her arms in between his hands working out all the muscles.
He moved to her back where she moaned in pleasure when he kneaded her back muscles.
He moved down her back.
"How did you learn how to do this?" She asked in a sleepy voice.
"Loki and Coral made me learn so I could give them Massage's when the other wasn't there to do it for them. They said that it would be helpful when I got married. Also said my Semblance gave me an advantage because I could use it to read their bodies better than any massage therapist. Also came in handy when we were at Beacon."
"You never offered me a massage at Beacon."
"You never asked." Jason said moving down to her glutes.
Weiss moaned into her pillow as he kneaded the soft flesh. "That feels so good."
"Yeah. Loki and Coral always said I have magic hands."
"I agree." She moaned into a pillow.
He moved down to her legs and kneaded the muscles in her left leg down to her foot before going up her right leg.
When he was done, he rolled her over, and started massaging her front.
She moaned as he worked his way up her body.
By the time he had finished she was coated in a layer of sweat and was panting lightly.
"You seem to have really enjoyed that." Jason said.
"That was better than any massage I've ever had. I'm coming to you for all future massages."
"I'd be honored."
"Now. About that bath."
"Coming right up." Jason said going to the bathroom to fill the tub.
When it was filled to Weiss's preferred temperature He walked out and picked Weiss up before walking her to the bathroom and slipping her into the tub.
"Now." He asked reaching into a bag. "I snagged a couple while we were in Atlas." He said holing up a bath bomb. "Which one do you want?"
"Do you have Valean cherry blossom?"
Jason smiled and pulled out a red and white bath bomb. "Coming right up." He said dropping it in the tub.
The water began to fizz and turn pink.
Weiss leaned back and relaxed.
AN: A lot happened in this chapter, but it was a lot of important stuff. First you meet Oscar like in cannon, but there are a few obvious changes. One of them being that Oscar and Ruby time jumped from the future to the time that they would make the most difference. This will be important in Volume seven and eight. Second, Oscar's Semblance(for this fic) is revealed. He can turn back time. Next is that Jason loses a one-on-one fight for the first time ever. This is important because up till this point Jason has been pretty much untouchable, and then Joker comes in and wipes the slate clean in a bad way. Enjoy.
