Hello again, and here is chapter 7 of Tartarus Kitchen.
Recap: Previously on Tartarus kitchen, our final 13 chefs discovered Ramsay has closed Tartarus kitchen for a while, and also made them nominate three housemates each for elimination, the red team nominated Big Mac, Fluttershy and Vinyl, while the blue team nominated Zephyr Breeze, Sunset Shimmer and Twilight Sparkle, it was then Ramsay revealed the six chosen chefs will take part in a cook for your life challenge, where the chef with the least best dish will leave.
In the end, Fluttershy was presented with the most best dish, and was given a special reward, a punishment free pass, and it was Twilight who got the least best dish, and she was the one who was eliminated, only 12 chefs remain, who will be gone next.
12 chefs remaining.
The final twelve chefs, Applejack, Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie, Micro Chips, Big Mac, Vinyl, Wallflower, Sunset, Maud, Derpy and Zephyr lined up in the living room, facing chef Ramsay.
" Welcome team to your next challenge, what you see is a wheel with letters, taking it in turns, each chef will spin the wheel for their team, and it'll land on a letter, the chef will then pick an ingredient starting with that letter, once you picked your ingredients, you'll have 30 minutes to cook you dish with the chosen ingredients, and each one will be presented and ranked, the team to present the best dishes will win the challenge", said Ramsay.
Applejack went first, spun the wheel, and it landed on S, she picked Salmon for her ingredient.
Derpy was next, she spun the wheel, and it landed on T, she picked Tomatoes for her ingredient.
Up next was Big Mac, he spun the wheel, and it landed on Z, he picked Zucchini for his ingredient.
It was then Maud's turn, she spun the wheel and it landed on F, she picked Fig for her ingredient.
Next was Fluttershy, she spun the wheel and it landed on O, she picked Olives for her ingredient.
And then it was Sunset who spun, she spun and the wheel landed on the letter B, she picked Beetroot as her ingredient.
It was Micro Chips turn, he spun the wheel and it landed on W, he picked white rice, it was either that or watermelon.
It was Vinyl's turn, she first time on her new team, she spun the wheel, and it landed on R, she too picked rice.
It now Pinkie Pie's turn, she spun, and it landed on E, she picked Eggs.
Wallflower was next, she spun and it landed on D, she picked duck for her ingredient, knowing her team hasn't got a protein yet.
Rainbow Dash was last for her team, she spun, and it landed on P, she chose Potato.
Zephyr was also last for his team, and last in general, he spun, and it landed on K, he picked kidney beans.
The red team had for their ingredients, Salmon, Zucchini, Olives, White Rice, Eggs and Potatoes.
The blue team had for their ingredients, Tomatoes, Fig, Beetroot, Rice, Duck and Kidney Beans.
" You don't have to use all of the ingredients, but you'll get extra points for each ingredient you use", said Ramsay.
And so, the 30 minutes began, and each chef began making their dish.
Half an hour went by, and Ramsay, along with Coriander and Saffron stood in front of the table, waiting to try out what they've made.
Applejack went first, a grilled Salmon with deep fried chips and Olives, however, all three chefs gave her a 1/3 each, due to how under cooked the salmon was, she got three from the chefs, plus another 3 points for including three ingredients, bringing her total to 6.
Derpy was next, she made Fried duck, and used the tomatoes, kidney beans, beetroot and fig as a blended salad, with Rice as the starch, Ramsay and Coriander gave her a two, while Saffron gave her a three, bringing her a total of 7 from the chefs, plus 6 points for including all six ingredients, bringing her total to 13.
Big Mac was next, he too presented a fried salmon with potato salad, and Zucchini and Olives for garnish, Ramsay and Coriander gave him a 2 each while Saffron gave him a three, bringing his total to 7, plus 5 points for his ingredients, bringing his total to 12.
Maud was next, she made a crisp duck with Tomatoes, beetroot, and kidney beans as a blended puree sauce, with rice for starch and a sliced fig for garnish, she got a total of 7 from the chefs, three from Saffron, two from Coriander and Ramsay each, and earned an additional 6 points for using all of the ingredients, bringing her total to 13.
After both teams presented two dishes, the blue team lead 26 - 18.
Fluttershy was next, she presented a cooked salmon, with Rice for starch, and Zucchini and Olives for garnish, she got a two from both Coriander and Saffron, and a one from Ramsay, she also earns four points for the ingredients, giving her a total of 9, giving her team a total of 27.
Sunset was next, Her dish was Fried duck with rice, and a garnish of Tomatoes and Kidney beans.
Saffron and Coriander gave her a three each, while Ramsay gave her a two, bringing her total to ten, plus 4 for the ingredients, giving her team a total of 40.
" Red team, were halfway through the challenge, and the blue team still lead by nine points, hopefully your remaining three dishes are brilliant", said Ramsay.
Micro Chips presented his dish, earned a two each from all three chefs, and an additional 6 points for using all six ingredients, bringing his total to 12.
Vinyl was next, the chefs were so amazed that they gave her a 3 out of 3 each, plus an additional 3 points for the ingredients, bringing her total to 12, it's amazing how a chef can make a dish with only three ingredients taste and look amazing.
After each team presented four dishes, the blue team still lead 52 - 39.
Pinkie Pie was next, She made a fried salmon with deep fried chips, and Zucchini and Olives blended for garnish, she was given a total of 5 from the chefs two from the sous chefs, one from Ramsay, plus an additional 4 points for the ingredients, bringing her total to nine.
Wallflower was next, she made a duck casserole with the six ingredients, and earn a two from each chef, plus a 6 for using all the ingredients bringing her total to 12.
After 10 dishes being presented, the blue team lead by 64 - 48.
" Well, it looks like by default the blue team wins, even if Rainbow Dash get's a maximum score of 15, And if Zephyr presented an empty plate for his dish, and by the looks of it, Zephyr show me your dish", said Ramsay.
Zephyr then showed him his dish.
" Yep, it's crap, but no matter what score Rainbow got, even if she got a maximum score of 15 and even if Zephyr got a zero, the blue team will still win, so congratulations blue team, you are the winners", said Ramsay.
The blue team cheered as they have won the challenge, meanwhile the red team stood there in defeat.
" Well, blue team, for your reward, you'll be going out to one of the most stunning Laser tag game maze arena, where you'll spend the entire day playing rounds of laser tag shooting at one another, enjoy yourselves", said Ramsay.
The Blue team then headed to their dorms, preparing themselves.
" Red team, for today's punishment, you'll be prepping boiled eggs for the salad for tonight's service, boiling and shelling the eggs, and they'll be hundreds if not thousands of eggs, actually, Fluttershy, you still have that punishment pass, do you want to use that now, or do you wish to save it for another time", said Ramsay.
Fluttershy thought about it, then made her decision.
" I'll use it, I may not have another chance to do so in future", sad Fluttershy.
" Okay then, give me you pass, and join the blue team", said Ramsay.
Meanwhile, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, Big Mac, Applejack and Micro Chips stood there.
" What are you five waiting for, get to work", said Ramsay.
The 12 chefs began preparing in the kitchen, it was another dinner service, service number six.
In the blue kitchen we have Wallflower doing table side, Derpy on Appetizers, Maud on Meat, Vinyl on Fish, Sunset on Garnish and Zephyr on Desserts.
In the red kitchen we have Fluttershy on table side, Micro Chips on Appetizers, Pinkie Pie on Meat, Rainbow Dash on Fish, Applejack on Garnish and Big Mac on Deserts.
Ramsay stood at the head pass in the middle of the kitchen, and called out to the matrie d.
" Jacques, open up tartarus kitchen", said Ramsay.
It was 7:00 PM, and customers began arriving, service number six has begun.
Orders have been placed in, and stoves began burning.
Ten minutes later.
" Maud, get the chicken back in the pan it's still under cooked", said Ramsay.
" Sorry Chef", said Maud.
Another 20 minutes went by, and it was a half hour into dinner service, 7:30 PM.
" Zephyr, why are you cooking a souffle when nobody's F*cking ordered one yet", said Ramsay.
" I thought you said one souffle", said Zephyr.
" No, I said one soup, F*ck, get your ears checked", said Ramsay.
Another 20 minutes went by.
Jacques approached Wallflower who was slow on table side.
" Hey Wallflower are you alright, you're slowing on the table side", said Jacques.
" Can you blame me, these wheels are rusty", said Wallflower, referring to the wheels on the table.
" No their not, the breaks are still on, just remove them and you'll get the wheels moving again", said Jacques
25 minutes went by, and it was 8:15, an hour and a quarter of dinner service has passed, and it hadn't looked good for the blue team, and it's going easy for the red team.
" Jacques, come here", said Ramsay.
Jacques approached him.
" Is Wallflower alright", said Ramsay.
" She's fine Chef", said Jacques..
" She's taking so slow on the table side", said Ramsay.
" I know, it's probably nerves", said Jacques.
" If it is, then tell her overcome it, like you did with Fluttershy last time, I don't what you did, but you made Fluttershy confident with waiting, and now she's doing good so far on Table side", said Ramsay.
5 minutes later.
" Pinkie, come here", said Ramsay, she did so, seeing Ramsay holding a pan of steak.
" Visually, what's wrong with this", said Ramsay.
" Still needs more time in the grill I'm guessing", said Pinkie Pie.
" What, no, it's burnt, why would you send me this when it's burnt, make another one", said Ramsay, sending Pinkie Pie the burnt steak.
Another 25 minutes went by and it's 8:45, only 75 minutes remains until dinner service ends.
" Okay, in the first hour the blue team were screwing up, and now it's red team, Micro Chips, taste that, and tell me what's wrong with it", said Ramsay.
Micro Chips tasted the risotto, " It's not seasoned", said Micro Chips.
" Which is why you must taste test you're own cooking, otherwise you're risking sending a shit dish, that risotto tasted bland", said Ramsay.
20 minutes went by, and it was over two hours of dinner service.
" All of you come here", screamed Ramsay to the two teams, the ten chefs approached him, while Wallflower and Fluttershy stayed on their table side station.
" So far both teams are doing equally as shit as each other, the blue team are F*cking up the first hour and the red team are F*cking up the second hour, for example, I got this, from Rainbow Dash, and it's still raw, seriously Rainbow", said Ramsay.
" Sorry chef", said Rainbow Dash.
" Either you guys get it together, or F*ck off", said Ramsay.
5 minutes later.
" I just can't take it anyone, Maud, stop sending it under cooked meat", said Ramsay.
Another 20 minutes went by, and it was 9:30 PM, two and a half hours of dinner service.
" Wallflower, come here", said Ramsay.
Wallflower left her table side station and approached the pass.
" Yes Chef.
" Since you can't handle the table side, head back to the dorms", said Ramsay.
Sighing, Wallflower did so.
The last half hour of dinner service went well, and the stations were switched off.
Once the customers left, the 12 chefs lined up facing Ramsay.
" Well, it was an interesting service, many screw ups, many successes, but only one team did better than the other, red team, congratulations", said Ramsay.
He then turned to the blue team.
" Blue team, for making many mistakes, you're at risk, how disappointing, head to the dorms, and come up with two individuals, who you think are dead weight to your team", said Ramsay.
Time went by, and the six chefs returned to the dining room, with their nominations.
" Sunset, First nominee and why", said Ramsay.
" We picked Maud, she just kept sending in Meat to the pass too early which was why it was under cooked", said Sunset.
" Who is your second nominee", said Ramsay.
" Wallflower, she was just slowing down on table side", said Sunset.
" Wallflower, Maud, step forward", said Ramsay.
The two chosen chefs did so.
" Wallflower, why should you stay", said Ramsay.
" I've been one of the strongest chefs by far, I wasn't going to consider myself a failure because of one bad service", said Wallflower.
" You failed at Table side though", said Ramsay.
" Yeah, but I was able to complete all five primary stations before anyone else", said Wallflower.
" Maud, why should you stay", said Ramsay.
" I've been confident these past couple of weeks, one mess up on a station isn't good, especially the meat station", said Maud.
" You didn't make a mess on the meat station, you've made a dozen messes", said Ramsay.
" I've made my decision, the person leaving tartarus kitchen, is...
...
...
...
... Maud", said Ramsay.
Maud removed her Jacket and left tartarus kitchen.
Maud's final comment: " It's disappointing I didn't win, or get a black jacket, but I'm glad to make it further enough, and best of luck to my sister Pinkie".
Ramsay then turned to Wallflower.
" Back in line", he said.
Once Wallflower lined up with the others, Ramsay turned to them all.
" Now that we're getting closer to the end, and only a couple of weeks away till I start giving out black jackets, I want all of you to take part in a five of the primary stations at least once, so some of you are going to repeat a station you already did in the next service", said Ramsay.
The eleven Chefs then headed back to their dorms, while Ramsay headed to his office, hanging Maud's jacket.
Ramsay's final comment: " I hear Maud has a passion for rocks and other minerals, however her it's time for her journey in tartarus kitchen to end, stone cold".
