"Let's get to it!" Mayumi said as she sent out Araquanid.
"Here we go!" Cia said as she sent out Dusknoir.
"Let's do this!" Jessica said as she sent out Crobat.
"Let's go!" Riesz said as she sent out Marill.
"Both sides ready? Now, begin!" the referee announced.
"Alright, Marill! Let's start with a Hydro Pump!" Riesz said as Marill fires a powerful Hydro Pump at Dusknoir.
"Shadow Ball." Cia said as Dusknoir fires a Shadow Ball at Crobat.
"Now, Bubble Beam!" Mayumi said as Araquanid fires a spread of bubbles at Crobat.
"Poison Fang!" Jessica said as Crobat struck at Dusknoir.
"Let's mix things up. Thunder Punch!" Cia said as Dusknoir's fist coated in lightning as it stuck Marill, knocking it out.
"Go, Air Cutter!" Jessica said as Crobat struck at Araquanid.
"Got you. Bug Bite!" Mayumi said as Araquanid bit at Crobat rapidly, knocking it out.
"Let's pick up the pace." Riesz said as she sent out Lilligant.
"Here we go!" Jessica said as she sent out Aggron. "Rock Slide!" she said as Aggron caused rocks to fall down on both opponents, taking down Araquanid.
"Energy Ball!" Riesz said as Lilligant fired a ball of grassy energy at Dusknoir.
"Now… Brick Break!" Cia said as Dusknoir nailed at Aggron, who barely survived.
"Next is...this one!" Mayumi said sending out Buzzwole. "Dynamic Punch!" she said as Buzzwole nailed Aggron, knocking it out.
"Fire Punch" Cia said as Dusknoir's fist coated in fire, hitting Lilligant.
"Giga Drain!" Riesz said as Lilligant sapped Dusknoir's health, knocking it out.
"Guess I can finally send this out, then." Jessica said, sending out Grapploct. Cia in turn sent out Tsareena.
"Not going to let you have the chance! Fell Stinger!" Mayumi said as Buzzwole struck at Lilligant, knocking her out.
"Magical Leaf!" Cia said as Tsareena launches leaves at Grapploct.
"Payback time… Brick Break!" Jessica said as Grapploct struck at Tsareena.
"It all comes down to this." Riesz said sending out Eiscue. "Ice Beam!" she said as Eiscue launched a blast of ice at Tsareena.
"Think double-teaming her would get you by, huh? In that case, it's secret weapon time! Focus Punch!" Mayumi said as Buzzwole struck Eiscue hard, knocking it out.
"Let's finish this! Acrobatics!" Cia said as Tsareena rapidly struck at Grapploct, knocking it out.
"Battle is over! Winning team is Mayumi and Cia!" the referee said.
"Alright! We did it!" Mayumi said.
"I can see now why you are so skilled in this, Mayumi. Those Ultra Beasts have really done you wonders." Riesz said.
"I suppose. I mean, it was a bit of a crazy experience for me, I'll admit." Mayumi said.
"Though your bond with them won't exactly be all that denied. I believe that's been proven plenty of times." Cia said.
"You're right, Cia. I mean, the dynamics between them haven't exactly been all that established, but I think they're getting along really well." Mayumi said.
"I believe so. Even though they tend not to show it." Jessica said.
"Hehehe… I guess you have a point there." Mayumi said.
