Chapter 7: Contained and doubt

As soon as the transmission ended chatter broke out among the rebels. "A bio-weapon?" asked a mon calamari

"Those kriffing terrorists!" yelled a female Targanian. Her hair spiked out in many directions and had a patch over her right eye with scars decorating the right side of her face.

"How could they have brought this weapon on this planet?" asked a dorus his head covered in bandages from the battle.

Then a Quara pointed his finger accusingly at Nyx. "He works with Saw he probably brought it here!" he bellowed

Many of the other rebels quickly turned their wrath on Nyx. "You crazy kriffing scum!" yelled a female zeltron as she pointed her blaster at him.

"Wait it is not true," stated Nyx as he backed up against the wall.

"Lair!" yelled a yellow male twil'k

"Hang him!" said a human female

"Hang him! Hang him! Hang him!" chanted the crowed as they advanced on Nyx

Suddenly Jarik, Codi and Shelia got between Nyx and the mob. Both had drawn their light sabers but had not ignited them. Likewise, Shelia had her blaster drawn as well. "BACK OFF OR WE START SWINGING!" yelled Codi.

"THAT'S ENOUGH!" yelled Jarik as used the force to magnify the sound of his voice. "SAW MY BE RUTHLESS BUT EVEN HE WOULD NOT USE A BIO-WEAPON BECAUSE THEY COULD NOT BE CONTROLLED." He stated

Then Nyx joined it. "He is right. Saw would use almost any weapon to take out the Emperor, but he would never use or pull something like this." Stated Nyx

"LIAR!" Said another voice. They turned to see Ko-Tun advancing with several others. "You know that Saw is growing more and more ruthless by the day. A month ago, he hijacked a shuttle and smashed into a power station on Ordo Carida. Hundreds of people died when it exploded. While thousands more died because of a lack of power!" she said

"ENOUGH!" yelled Jarik with enough force as he could muster. "I know that Shaw will cross almost any line. But he would never use a bio-weapon because they cannot be controlled." He stated

Ko-Tun looked at Jarik with disgust. "Are you sure. You, Kenobi, Tano and Skywalker trained that maniac!" she countered

"Look I known Saw has become ruthless! Do you think I like what he has become?!" But we are up against a government that will not hesitate to butcher millions on a whim. We must be willing to fight this is a war for freedom and to restore not just democracy to the galaxy but light!"

"Stop with the kriffing force! You Jedi were supposed to be guardians of the Republic. But you let senate and the galaxy fall to in corruption. Pirates and scum to run amok. Slavery in the galaxy. Corporations having legislative power. They abused and plundered worlds. Then when people wished for change they instigated a war that billions died in! My family and people were slaughtered Battle of Cerea. While your order and clone lapdogs fought against the separatist you allowed Palpatine to rise! Now the galaxy is under the fist of a tyrant. People are being enslaved, imprisoned and murdered! Whose fault is it?! You Jedi that's it!" Others joined it with Ko-Tun.

"Yeah during the battle of Krant my home was destroyed by your republic armies!" said one human

"Thanks to your failure on Jabiim I lost my wife and kids!" yelled another human

Before a riot could break out someone called them to order. "THAT'S ENOUGH! Everyone looked see the commanders of the Taris resistance cell. "There is equally enough blame to go around," said Gidion Argus.

"This whole mess started when we elected the Senators to the they were corrupt then they spread like a virus throughout the system. We tried to change but because of the system it became hard to fix. Then Palpatine came and offered better solution. We chose him, when he asked for more power we gave it to him. Before we knew he was in charge. The system was corrupt, the jedi were corrupt, the people were corrupt. But I ask you who put them in charge who let this go on? You and I! We put them in power and we gave him power. We did! Now we have to clean up the mess. Some of us are going to use force to do it like Saw. But we can't go around accusing each other for another. That is how this mess started. So, are we going to make another big mistake?" he asked Gidion

At this the Taris Rebels stood down their heads bowed in shame. While Jarik and Codi deactivate their sabers. "Thanks Gidion
