Kazuma and Aqua stod over the unconscious bodies of the soldiers, and they each let out a frustrated breath.

The attacks on the town were increasing and it was only the hunter's network that was keeping Nibelheim safe.

It helped that the adventurers and the merchants of this world liked the town enough that they were willing to help set up the underground network of information.

Kazuma sat down next to a fallen Shinra soldier, before looking at Aqua who looked at the Avalanch member before she to took a seat but conveniently landed on the soldier.

"So how long do you think they're going to keep coming?" Kazuma asked Aqua who gave him a soft smile

"Who knows, maybe they finally get tired of getting beaten by us or," Aqua said before a powerful gust of wind knocked her to the ground

Kazuma felt his skills activate instantly and it was only his sheer force of will that allowed him to grave Aqua before his escape and teleporting skills activated and got them both to safety.

The two of them gasped for breath as they watched a man wearing a long back trenchcoat, and long silver hair walk around inspecting the area they had left behind.

They had seen the man's face on the posters the Shinra corporation sends to Nibelhim, even if they couldn't see the man's face they recognized his hair and clothes.

This was the Shinra corporation's Big Dog, their heavy hitter, the guy they sent in when they wanted something, someone dead.

The two watched as several armored cars suddenly decloaked and both the Shinra and Avalanch soldiers were carried away.

This was too dangerous and even if the soldiers couldn't see either of them, Kazuma wouldn't risk letting Aqua be seen by anyone and so he brought her into a tight hug and teleported away.

The two arrived at a cave near the city they had arrived in when they first showed up in this world and they both gasped for air, whatever that man was, both Kazuma and Aqua could feel the same presence as the demon king.

It didn't mean that the silver-haired man was the same demon king from Erisses world, no the man was either something like a demon general of this world or the final boss of this world

Either way, the two of them knew that things were getting more and more complicated, they knew that they would soon have to leave Nibelhime behind so they could keep the people safe, but the Shinra corporation controlled most of the world.

So that meant that the two of them would be fugitives for the rest of their lives.

Kazuma felt the cold touch of an ice-cold soda can being placed on his cheek and he noticed that Aqua was already drinking her own, while she stood over him.

The two of them had come to Midgard over and over again and eventually started leaving things behind in the cave so that when they either wanted to take a rest or just plain relax and do nothing they could have everything they needed and didn't have to worry about anything that happened outside of the cave.

"So what do you think?" Kazuma asked Aqua as he opened the can of soda and took a drink

"I don't know, I think they want us but the Turks are starting to stay away from us" Aqua answered Kazuma as she finished her drink.

"Hey Kazuma remember when we first got here and how we both stayed awake because of all the monsters we kept running into," Aqua said to Kazuma with a sad smile as she remembered the past

"And then all of those Chocobos came in and surrounded us, before they sat down and went to sleep," Kazuma said as he remembered the giant birds that were attracted by Aquas magic

"...There were two groups this time," Kazuma said to Aqua

Neither of them had ever met anyone from Avalanch before but for whatever reason the soldier's \ mercenaries\ or whatever they were immediately attacked both of them.

The war with Wutai was getting worse so Shinra had no other choice but to dedicate their regular soldiers and Turks to the war, but that was the main problem neither of them knew why Shinra was trying to...

In all honesty, neither of them knew what was Shinras problem with them, they just knew that one day the Turks showed up and tried to force them to go to the Shinra corporation

"Wanna go home or do you want to spend the night here?" Kazuma said to Aqua before he turned the portable tv on and started watching one of this world's programs.

"...Kazuma do you regret" Aqua began to ask Kazuma before he pulled her down and hugged her

"I could have left you back then so, no I don't regret keeping you," Kazuma said to Aqua, neither of them said anything after that they just passed the rest of the night watching television before they both fell asleep
