Sitting in silence until Kouga spoke "no you're not. I don't smell it."
"I've hidden the scent."
Kouga closed his eyes and took in the smells of his surroundings until he found Kagome's. He smelled chamomile and lavender but now laced with milk and honey. Opening his eyes, he looked at Kagome.
"Well?"
"Uh yeah I can smell it now." With sadness in his voice.
"Listen I'm happy to finally see you again and to be able to tell you my feelings but ...I'm damaged...Besides, you have a baby to care for as I will be having mines soon." as she stood up.
"What are you talking about! I'm not leaving you! Never again! You are my true mate! Why are you so stubborn!" Standing in front of her.
"I never expected to ever see you again, Kouga. But for some reason only the kami knows why you are. I didn't want to regret not telling you of my feelings. I can't change a thing especially since I'm going to be a mother, I will be leaving my home. You can't come with me where I'm going."
"I don't understand. I am taking you with me. You won't be alone ever again. Your pup will be raised as my own. Where are you going?" Feeling frustrated.
"I'm going to the western lands. My baby will be Sesshomaru's heir."
