ESKK: Well here we go let's begin a new chapter people as this is the end of the Ryloth ark.
(Start Cliff Side Ryloth)
Republic Walkers were being fired upon by Grineer forces as it was clear these Grineer have brought tanks of their own. As the Tanks continued to walk the path they returned fire against the Grineer as they tried to keep the Republic from continuing their advance on the Capital City of Lessu. Just then during the march the Tank managed to hit one of the front walkers stalling it and leaving it vulnerable. With a few more hits the tank was downed as its legs gave out under it.
From the Hatch the Warframes used by Red Team came out as the Nyx, Gauss, Trinity, and Hildryn Frames busted out. "Move get to cover now!" Muriel ordered as she fired her sniper rifle the Komorex while Ariel used her Hildryn's Arch Cannon the Larkspur on the enemy. Mace in turn went over to the walker's cockpit and used the force to shatter the Glass to pull the Clone out. As they all moved to cover with Nyx using her Komorex sniper Rifle to help provide cover fire with Ariel as Icarus and Lula moved to cover.
Once they got to cover Muriel in her Nyx and Ariel in her Hildryn moved to cover. "We need cover in the back if we lose our tank there we'll be boxed in!" Muriel called out as she hid with the others while Lula was tending to the downed Clone Windu brought in. "Icarus head to the back and tell the Clones to cover our back tank once you're done get your ass back here!" Muriel ordered and thus Icarus nodded.
"On it!" Icarus called out and then using his Warframe's powers sprinted off to warn the Troops.
"Good call." Windu praised as he looked to the Tenno.
"This one will be fine for now but we need to keep him under cover till I can handle the rest." Lula said to which hardly a few moments later the troops began to focus on the back of their Convey to protect it. Just then Icarus returned and saluted to the group. "All done!" Icarus said before moving to cover.
Impressed with how fast that Warframe was Windu focused on the task at hand. "Commander, bring out the Lightning Squadron!" Mace ordered and thus the Clone Commander did as told.
"I want lightning up here now!" He ordered knowing they needed the aid right now. From one of the rear Walkers mini walkers were seen with Clones riding on them. Acting fast Lula took command as the on sight medic to heal the injured. "Get the Injured to Lula I'm going to clear the road!" Windu ordered knowing they had a medic who will help.
"I'll help!" Ariel said being the demo and techie of the squad it made sense.
"No you cover us I have this!" Windu ordered and thus got to work. Once Windu got to the tank he channeled the Force and in turn managed to push the trashed walker off the ledge clearing the path on the road. Once this was done the Clones returned fire to the Grineer as Lula tended to the injured.
"Just like the battle of Geo Firma on Venus during the Old War before Fortuna took its place!" Ariel called out as she fired off her cannon.
"Yeah only difference Icarus isn't running around kicking ass because he got lost!" Muriel answered back as she and Ariel fired upon the Grineer.
"You and I remember that battle very differently!" Icarus called out as he joined the two female Tenno.
"Won't be when I tell it!" Muriel said as she hid behind cover before firing her Korbenix again upon the Grineer using the scope to help perform headshots.
Just then Lightning squad arrived as one of the riders looked to Windu. "He's all yours, general." The Clone said as he then got off.
"Icarus wanna prove us wrong join up with Windu and Lighting!" Muriel called out as she looked to her teams scout.
"Can he keep up with Gauss?" Icarus asked until Muriel in response growled in annoyance.
"Just go!" She ordered and thus Icarus was one the move again.
Once Windu saw Icarus ready to chase after by taking a ready position for a sprint he knew they were ready. "We'll lead the way, Commander." Windu said and thus they headed out with Gauss sprinting after them slowing some to make sure Lightning Squad can keep up.
"Forward!" The Clone Commander ordered and thus they were on the move on the path.
With the walkers and Icarus rushes the Grineer, as some tank fire was nearly hitting them, with two Grineer watching the scene before them as one said, "A Tenno is leading the enemy's forces to us."
"They cannot allow to come close! Focus fire on the Tenno and those walkers!" a grinner officer said as the tanks turn and started to fire upon the ground, with the walkers were jumping and dodging the blast, with Icarus just ran normal going side to side dodging cannon shots that were coming towards him, as they may seem fast to some people, but to him and his Warframe they were moving at a slow rate.
One shot landed near Mace but it missed him as he was cover by the smoke with one Grineer said, "Did we gotten a Jedi whelm!?"
Mace came into view with the clones following him closely as the Grineer officer said, "Keep firing!"
The shot keep coming but the clones, mace, and Icarus keep dodging them with ease, s they were soon upon the Grineer forces taking them down as Icarus pull out his burning dagger and started to slice through the Grineer with ease, as mace use his walker weapon and fire upon the two Grineers killing them right there and then before moving on.
Some clones did the same as they gotten close to the tanks weapons, as they started to blast at their weak point or throwing a grenade at them which did the job just the same before taking out any Grineer normal ground forces around with Icarus taken care a good chunk of them already.
Soon enough as the fighting was done and the remaining republic's tank made it through, mace gotten off his walker and talk to the clones next to him and asked, "How many men did we lose?"
"Hard to say somewhere between 10 or 20, with that trinity Warframe user, Lula I believe her name was, had help out as many clones as she did while her teammate and help out during the fight," the clone said as there were many close calls, but with the Tenno really turn things around for them as, "But we have 3 command walkers, some good news General Kenobi and blue team had broken their lines. We can clear a path straight to the capital."
Unaware to them a scouter droid of the Grineer was watching them until someone shot at it with many shots, bringing it down, with Mace and the clone jumped being startled by this until they saw Muriel with her Akstiletto's guns out as they were smoking a bit as she said, "sorry I had to take this one out quickly.
"Well if they didn't know we're on the way they do now." Ariel said as she saw the scene play out while inspecting the downed drone.
"Still good to see my brother and his team make it through." Muriel said knowing they might just win this battle.
Just then Lula came in as she stretched her arms a bit getting the stress out of them. "The injured have been moved to the walkers to help get them healed up. Your Medics can tend to them." Lula said and in turn they were all in agreement.
"Good job but this battle was costly and knowing the Grineer they aren't going to pull their punches." Muriel said knowing this battle cost them an edge they needed.
"Then we're going to need help to take the city." Mace said and thus the Jedi and Squad of Tenno were on the same page.
"Any suggestions sir?" Muriel asked as unlike her brother she can switch between casual mode and soldier mode on a dime. Her brother was 24/7 Soldier mode that it made it hard for her to hang out with him most times.
"I may have an idea." Mace said to which the Tenno were intrigued.
(Lessu)
Van'Lux was pissed off as he roared and slammed his fist onto the holographic projector. "No I will not be bested by Tenno swine and their pet Jedi Maggot!" Van'Lux yelled as his two soldiers were outside the room as Van'Lux tore up the room in anger. "When I find those Tenno dogs I will rend them from existence!" He yelled before giving out his next order. "Prepare for an attack if they want our factories then they will die for it!" Van'Lux yelled and thus he could hear his soldiers moving to get the job done.
"Come get me Tenno I will happily hang your heads on my mantel as trophies!" He yelled clearly like his people violent to the very end.
(Back with the Convoy)
Mace was in contact with the Lotus, Grand Master Yoda, Chancellor Palpatine, a fat Twi'lek who, was Ryloth's Senator named Taa, Chroma Prime of the Tenno high council, as well as Anakin and the Tenno accompanying Mace. "What is your progress, Skywalker?" Palpatine asked as he looked to Anakin's hologram from his end.
"My fighters have secured control of the Space around Ryloth. We have the Grineer beat up here." Anakin said to which Palpatine nodded.
"Very good, Skywalker." Palpatine praised before Anakin's image vanished. Once Anakin was gone Ryloth appeared on their screens so Mace can show the ground progress.
"Master Kenobi and Blue team have taken the Jixuan desert, so the southern hemisphere is ours." Mace said to which Chroma then spoke up.
"I've already sent drones and Tenno to gather samples and scans of the ecosystems damage. We'll send it to New Loka so they can give their expert advice on repairing the damage done." Chroma said looking to the leaders with him.
"Then it's almost over." Taa said with relief in his voice.
"I fear there is one more hurdle." Lotus cut in and Mace nodded.
"Yes the key position is the Capital of Lessu." Mace began when the city in question appeared on the holo screen before Chroma cut in.
"Yes from the data Blue Team acquired on the Grineer cruiser Van'lux is no doubt has placed his command center there." Chroma said knowing full well it was the only place the Grineer Commander had left to hide in.
"When taken the city we have, capture Van'Lux we must." Yoda said before Muriel spoke up.
"Easier said than done. Grineer are violent and brutal as you say but they're also fanatically loyal to their cause Van'Lux would sooner take his own life then be captured and take as many of his foes down with him." Muriel said to which the Lotus understood well enough.
"I see if cannot be captured do what the Commander you must." Yoda said understanding where the Lotus was coming from.
"We'll try to have him captured but if he forces our hands we will end him." The Lotus said to which the Tenno were no stranger to killing.
"Either or it's not going to be easy. Van'Lux has chosen his stronghold well." Mace said as he then had the bridge highlighted in red. "This Plasma Bridge is the only way in or out." Mace said to which Palpatine sighed.
"I'm afraid a siege could drag on indefinitely." Palpatine confessed as he looked to the group with him.
"My people have suffered so much already." Taa said but Yoda then looked to Mace and the Tenno.
"A plan you have to take the bridge, Master Windu? Hmm?" Yoda asked and thus Muriel spoke up.
"My team and I can fly over the bridge with our Archwings and go in undetected but they would have more hostages then we can rescue no doubt." Muriel said as she thought it over.
"Even at my top speed I might only get across with only a minute to spare." Icarus added as he looked to the bridge.
"Those ideas are good ones to start but we'll need more manpower." Mace said as he then looked to Yoda. "With our forces stretched so thinly, I'm going to enlist the help of the Freedom Fighters, led by Cham Syndulla." Mace said as he then brought up the image of Cham as well as his credentials. "His fight against the droids has made him a symbol of freedom for the people." Mace said causing Palpatine to grow weary of this.
"Cham Syndulla, was a radical before the war. He is very unpredictable," Palpatine said as he sounded worry about getting help from Cham with the fat twi'lek said, "He can't be trusted. I know, Syndulla seeks to gain power. We were political rivals."
I'll leave the politics to you, Senator. I'm gonna do whatever I can to help these people," Mace said as he wasn't going to change his mind of this subject as Palpatine spoken up saying, "Perhaps we could send you Republic reinforcements instead, or another squad of Tenno to help."
"There are no reinforcements available, Chancellor," the admiral said with the Lotus said to them, "I could send another squad, but they will not reach there in time, but if you don't me saying, I may not know this Cham Syndulla, but if he is the best solution to take Ryloth back for its people, then do what you can to enlist his help, my Tenno will help with anything they can to make it so."
Mace nodded as with Lotus agreeing of getting Cham's help, it's still going to be one heck of a fight.
(Scene break)
Red team with the lighting squad, and General Mace Windu have travel far out in search of Cham and his freedom fighters while soon ended up before a row of grave stones.
Mace gotten off his walker walking over to the gravestones as one clone had ask him, "What makes you think the rebels are this way, General?"
Mace soon notice something on the ground and kneel downwards to it as the leader of the lighting squad asked him, "What is it, sir?"
"The resistance fighters ride creatures native to this region," Mace said as he was looking at a large footstep in the ground as Muriel came up next to mace looking at foot print as she said, "And by the look of this print, its brand new, which mean the resistance are nearby."
The clones gotten off their walkers and gotten a good look of the area, being a mix of Grineer tech and maybe stolen separatists gear modified for the Grineer usage, as one clone asked, "Isn't this the spot where they were massacred?"
"Looks like it was a hell of a fight," Another clone said with as he soon looks at the gravestone and with the Tenno walking up as well and kneel down while putting their hands together for a prayer with the same clone soon said, "Wonder who put up these gravestones."
"Doesn't matter who did." Lula said as the medic then began to stand up. "What matters is that brave warriors fell here it's for that reason alone we must take this world back from the Grineer." Lula said showing she would do whatever it took to save these people.
"Agreed." Muriel said as Mace despite his stone faced visage could acknowledge the Tenno's words.
Just then they all heard a creature of some sort causing them all to look. "Is that them?" The Clone asked as he looked to Mace only for Mace and Muriel to raise their hand to signal them to stay quiet. The two saw this and thus Muriel lowered her hand no doubt used to commanding her own squad by herself. Muriel and Mace then signaled the clones and the Tenno to mount up and start moving out. In turn as the three republic troops loaded up on their walkers while Muriel, Ariel, and Lula loaded up on their K-Boards. Icarus of curse opted to go for his speed and in turn they were all off.
(Scene Break later)
The Tenno and Republic troops were hidden behind a piece of a fallen Grineer ship. As they hid they saw a patrol of Grineer troops walking down the path as the Tenno looked ready to move in. Muriel had her side arms at the ready while the others had their varying weapons out just in case.
Just then one of the Clones moved causing movement to be heard and thus they all looked to the Clone. The group looked ready to move but Muriel stopped them and thus had an idea. She then fixed her Warframe's audio synthesizer and began to give off the sound of a creature native to this area a small one that the Grineer wouldn't bother with. As she did this they waited and in turn the Grineer once realizing it was just some random animal continued on with their patrol scolding each other for panicking over nothing.
"Nice job." Mace said as Muriel nodded to this.
In turn the Clones looked to each the two in curiosity. "But why didn't we take them out?" The Clone asked and thus Muriel smirked.
"I have a feeling the rebels will do it for us." Mace said and in turn it seems he was right. Not long after Mace spoke his piece the sound of blaster and gun fire was heard. The Grineer were in turn trying to call for backup as they were attacked by the Rebel fighters no doubt.
"Let's go!" Muriel called out and thus after Mace ignited his blade the four Tenno, two Clones, and One Jedi charged into battle. Once they got out though Ariel saw it as she had her Arch Cannon ready for damage.
"Oh come couldn't they save some for us?!" Ariel said kicking a downed Grineer's helmet in frustration.
"Um... I don't think that's what we need to worry about." Lula said realizing they were right on top of the rebels ambush sight. Just then Twi'Lek began to pop out of the woodwork and surround the group. Looking down on them from above was none other than Cham Syndulla.
"I was wondering when you'd find me, Master Jedi." Cham said as Muriel realized they found their possible alley.
"General Syndulla." Mace began as he looked to the Twi'Lek general. "I've come for your help." Mace said making his intentions here known.
"What makes you think you'll get it?" Cham asked as he looked down upon Mace.
"Other than the fact the Grineer are slowing killing your planet with all this toxic sludge from their factories?" Icarus asked only for Lula to smack him upside the head with her staff causing him to cry out in pain. "What not like I'm wrong." Icarus added quietly only to be shushed by Ariel.
(Scene Break later)
The Sun was sinking lower on the horizon making way for night. Cham and his rebels lead Mace, the Clones, and the Tenno into their base which was in fact under a fallen Grineer ship. As they went in they found several more Twi'Lek rebels as Lula noted that some of them were injured no doubt from the battles.
"Some hideout you have here." Mace praised as they walked through the base.
"It has its advantages." Cham said as they then passed by the pens in which the native creatures they rose were kept.
IN turn Muriel spoke up as she opted to speak. "Hey... we saw the graves you had for your people out there in the field." Muriel said as she looked to Cham. "I know losing them may be hard for many but if we can work together we can prevent a similar event from repeating." Muriel said as she spoke from personal experience from back in the old war. "Yet at the same time I Can't help but feel my people are partially responsible for the damage the Grineer have done." Muriel said and thus Cham looked to the Tenno.
"IF the stories held truth your people had done nothing wrong." Cham said as he knew that tone of voice. This Tenno felt she could have done more to help but was powerless.
"Did we?" Muriel said more then asked as she knew the Orokin created the Grineer made them into their builders their slaves and now look where they were the Grineer only built war now. "I'm sorry just... old memories is all." Muriel confessed to which Cham nodded in understanding the scars of war never heal only fade. "My point is the Grineer won't stop with Ryloth they'll keep going until they bled every world dry of its resources." Muriel said and thus Cham knew Muriel spoke the truth.
"Wow look at this thing." Icarus was heard as he and the Clone Trooper were checking out the native creatures. "Is this thing a meat eater those teeth make me thing it is." Icarus said as he looked at the creature.
"They're not trust me kid." The Clone said as he looked to the creature.
"If that's true prove it." Icarus said as he looked to the Clone daring it to put his hand in the cave.
"Icarus behave." Muriel said as sometimes she wished Icarus would act his age... not his physical age but only select few knew of this.
"Can't be that dangerous," the clone said as he look towards the creature in the cage as he reach his hand out to it as he said, "Come here, boy. Come on. Don't be afraid."
The creature came walking towards the clone as he held his hand up to it to pet it as he said, "See, there's nothing to be afraid of here."
Before he could touch it, the creature roar out a bit while it seem to lunge at him, so he quickly pull his hand back while the Twi'lek male and Icarus at the clone troop as the twi'lek guy said to him in his people native tongue as Ariel said translating for the twi'lek to the clone, "I believe he said that his blurrg may be ill-tempered?"
The twi'lek keep on speaking in his native tongue as Ariel went on saying, "And he also said she's much faster than the walkers you ride."
"I don't know about that," the clone said with Icarus speaking up saying, "That may be true, but it can't be as fast as me, heck I could have run in circles around you guys while you move."
"Icarus!" Muriel said a bit loudly and a bit angrily as well as Icarus put up his hand and said, "Hey don't get so out of shape, I'm just saying."
"Well keep it to yourself, we were to recruit their help," Muriel said as she, Mace and Cham soon walk on down through the hide out while reading the main area were many twi'lek people around looking hurt, or starved a bit.
A child twi'lek came running up to Cham, no doubt his daughter as he pick up her and give her a quick hug before putting her down as he notice with one blue skin Twi'lek came up to Cham as he saw his friend's arm and said, "What is this, a scratch?"
Lulu came walking up as she heard what Cham said as they were both looking over the twi'lek's arm as how it seem to be very much injured recently as Cham said to him, "Gobi, get better. I need you."
"I can help him if you wish, and any other of your people who are injured," Lulu offer her help as Cham is surprise by this as he nodded to this as he said, "That will be much appreciated."
Lulu nodded as she turn Gobi and started to speak to him in his native tongue, "SSS can you lead me to where the other injured are at SSS?"
Gobi nodded as he lead lulu to the twi'leks that were most hurt, injured, or wounded with Muriel came up to Cham and asked him, "Are there any other problems going on that we should know about?"
"Well we have little food or drink to go around, but it is our tradition to share what we do have with our guests," Cham said as Muriel said to him, "No need, we have spare supplies we can give out to you and your people as it seem they need it the most right now."
Cham is surprise by her with this offer as he said to her, "You have no idea how much this mean to us, for that I Thank you."
"We try to help out to those who need it most," Muriel said as she, Icarus, and Arial brought forth the supply quickly to give out to the twi'lek refuges.
(Later that night with the Convoy)
The Clones were heading to the location of a former Grineer factory now that they have been chased off they can start working on getting the civilians back to their homes. "We're coming up on the villager now." Came on of the troopers as the Clone Commander was waiting.
"Good once we get there see if there is any aid we can provide." He said but just then the Convoy came to a sudden stop getting the Commander to take notice of this. "What why did we stop?" The Commander asked and in turn the driver was heard on the communication.
"Sir." Came the voice of the driver through the communication. His tone suggested he was seeing something that would forever haunt him and will no doubt require therapy for.
"What is it Soldier?" He asked and in turn he got his answer.
"You... you need to see this." He responded and thus the Commander did so.
(Outside)
The Commander opened the hatch to see what got the Clones horrified and in turn he was wide eyed at what he saw. "Kriff." He gasped at what the Grineer had done. The village wasn't there anymore all that was left was a factory that despite no longer expelling toxic waste the damaging effect to the surrounding ecosystem was as clear as day.
Some of the Clones even swore they saw the remains of Twi'Lek's who either broke under the strain of the labor and died or were mutated by the waste giving them a slow and painful death. "Make contact with General Windu." The Commander said as he knew the Grineer were not something to joke around with anymore.
(Back in the Rebel Base)
After Lula had treated all those afflicted she had joined her Squad with Cham and Windu as the Twi'Lek refugees were performing a traditional Twi'Lek dance. "I hope none of you mined this." Cham asked gesturing to the party going on. "A little distraction goes far to ease the burden of the war on my men." Cham said as he looked to the group.
"You've provided well for your men all your people." Mace said as he then looked to Cham. "So why won't you help me free them from this occupation?" Mace asked as he looked to Cham.
"I don't trust Senator Taa his plans for our world after the war." Cham said as he then looked to the party going on.
"The Republic will help you rebuild we won't abandon you." Mace offered as he looked to Cham trying to talk him into providing aid.
"You're troops will stay for security?" Cham asked as he looked to the group.
"For a while to keep the peace and possibly keep the Separatists at bay." Mace said knowing with it weakened Ryloth was prime target for the enemy.
"Another armed occupation is not a free Ryloth." Cham said and thus got to the big bit of it. "How long until I am fighting you Master Jedi?" Cham asked until Muriel spoke up.
"We've already made plans to have New Loka look at repairing the damage to your planets compromised ecosystem." Muriel said as she looked to Cham. "It's not an occupation but the Grineer don't like to lose that much." Muriel added knowing the chances of the Grineer coming back to destroy everything they cannot have was high.
"Heh." Cham said as he looked to Muriel. "Stories are told of the Tenno how they arrived in our Galaxy on an Ark from beyond." Cham spoke as he looked to Muriel. "Bringing to us warriors of honor and peace." He said sharing just some of the stories spoken of about the Tenno. "The lesser of two evils is still siding with evil, Tenno." Cham said but Muriel spoke up.
"We don't do armed occupations if you wish for us to stay alright if you want us to leave then we'll honor your peoples request but right now with the Ecosystem as is you may need us." Muriel said as Cham looked to the Tenno.
"I do not deny it nor am I rejecting the aid of this 'New Loka,' but after the event is done when Ryloth is made whole once more what will stop us from finding ourselves against each other?" Cham asked as he looked to Muriel wanting an answer.
But before the discussion could continue Mace's communicator went off. "You might want to take that." Ariel said as she looked to the Jedi having a feeling about this particular call.
"What is it, Commander?" Mane answer as the clone said, "The Grineer has struck several villages in our sector have been replace by factories with the twi'lek people are put in slavery, and many have already died."
At that moment thing went silent, as the Tenno knew what that mean, and now the Grineer have gone too far with this, with Cham was struck by this news as now he has to make the hardest choice as he said, "Make the arrangements. I will speak to Senator Taa, and the Lotus."
"We'll call her right away," Muriel said as she knew this will get the other attention and get the new 'Loka' here quickly as possible before it's too late.
(Later)
Muriel made the call and set up holo projection for Cham to speak with the senator and Lotus, the question was, as soon will they answer.
Suddenly the hologram activated, with Lotus appearing with Senator Taa next to her as Cham said to them, "Lotus I presume?"
"I am, pleasure meeting you while it's not face to face, I have many duties where I am," Lotus said to him as then Cham nodded to her as he understand her situation, and then turn to Taa with a sour look on his face as he said, "Senator Taa, so glad to could join us, from comfortable Coruscant. Our people have survived with only me."
"I knew you would try and turn this into a campaign to take power. Need I remind you that it is I who leads our people in the senate?" Senator Taa said but not looking good when he is looking like a fat slob with Cham said to him, "And it is I who leads our people here and now."
"Please calm yourselves, fighting among yourselves isn't going to solve your problems," Muriel said as she trying to keep the mace with mace helping out as he speak up while saying, "And there will be nothing left to lead if you two refuse to work together."
"For the sake of your people, the both of you must set aside your differences and talk with each other as otherwise there will be nothing to gain," The Lotus said as both Twi'lek men went silent to hearing this information as they calm down with Muriel explaining of what's going on, with Taa soon spoken up and asked, "What can the Grineer hope to gain from poisoning our world?"
"For resources, is what they always have done to many worlds that they have conquered, and like many worlds there are resistance, but when your republic had gotten involved they will do anything to keep it and if they cannot have it...," Lotus said as she explain while trailing off with Cham finishing it as he said, "Then no one shall have it."
"Then we must act quickly," Taa said as Mace spoken up saying, "Senator, your people are hesitant to join us because they're worried there will be another military occupation."
"The people have my promise that the clone army will leave once Ryloth is free of the Grineers!" Taa said with spirit with Cham still didn't feel it was a real promise, and there was another matter to consider as Cham asked, "And what about the Tenno?"
"Once your world has been freed of Grineer occupation and is healed from the damage the Grineer have caused it, we can stay or we can leave. The choice will be yours, if you wish for the Tenno to leave..." Lotus said as Muriel finish saying, "Then we shall honor your request and leave your planet in peace, that we swear to you and the senator."
Cham nodded to this as he can believe them with ease as he heard Muriel voice spoken without a hint of a lie, with Mace soon said, "General, what assurance can you give senator Taa you will not try to assume power?"
"I only want to see my people free, Master Jedi. I give my word. I believe in democracy," Cham said as Taa nodded to this as Mace said to this, "Then we are together in this."
"Lotus I know you said you will send the new Loka, but we need them here as soon as possible as the Grineer has already constructed there factory to full operation," Muriel said to which the Lotus nodded to this as she said in response, "I'll do what I can to speed progress along, but you must stop any further damage that has already happen."
"We will Lotus," Muriel said with The call ended as the group steps out from the dark room as Cham soon announce to his people, "Men of Ryloth, the time has come to free ourselves!"
(Scene Break the following day)
The Day had arrived as the combined forces of Tenno, Republic, and Twi'lek were marching on to the Capital of Lessu. As they made their way to the area Icarus raced a Clone and a Twi'lek as the speedster laughed at the two slowpokes. Eventually the army made its way to a ledge and in turn took cover behind the rocks. Muriel, Mace, and Cham looked to the city and in turn saw the city through binoculars or scopes.
"Van'Lux is still there." Mace said as Muriel saw this.
"No kidding just like a Grineer stubborn to realize when he's lost." Muriel said as she glared at the city.
"How are we going to attack with my people so close?" Cham asked as he saw the situation from afar.
"Your people would never be in danger if our walkers can cross the bridge into the city." Mace said as he looked to the deactivated energy bridge. "Key is getting control of that bridge." Mace said and thus the Tenno had an idea.
"My squad can use or Archwings to fly in from above and get in but we'd have to do so under the cover of night." Muriel said and thus they knew that would mean they would have to wait... unless. "What if you fur fly low in the gorge." Cham offered and thus Muriel saw his line of thought. "That might work, we take our K-Boards and then fly upward with our Archwings." Muriel said and thus she knew that was their best bet.
"There's still the risk of you being detected." Mace said and in turn Muriel had an idea.
"Not if we use their own vehicles." Muriel said as she pointed to a convoy of Grineer coming in and among them were hover crafts the Grineer use for terrestrial combat. "If you can board their transport you guys can sneak in and if possible cause a distraction." Muriel said as she looked to the group.
"It is risky they are usually scanned while crossing." Cham added and thus Muriel had a counter for that one.
"Do we have any other choice?" Muriel asked as she looked to Cham and knew she was right.
(Later with the Tenno in the Gorge)
The Squad of Red Team were on their K-Board save for Icarus who was using his sprint ability to keep up with them. AS they rode and ran through they knew what their objective was but the terrain was tricky even with their boards. They knew they were getting closer to the take off point as they continued to go through making sure to be as careful about this as they possibly could.
"Hey Jedi we're almost at the take off point how are things on your end?" Muriel asked as she continued to ride to their destination.
(With Mace)
"We're just about ready." Mace said as he and two Clones were ready for the Grineer. "When we get control of the bridge you must start the attack." Mace ordered as he trusted Cham to do his part. In turn Mace jumped down with his Lightsaber ignited and sliced into the Grineer rider and decapitated him. Once that was done he jump atop the transport before the two Clones joined him on it. In turn Mace proceeded to cut open a hole in the vehicle. One the hole was made the three jumped in one by one.
(With the Army)
After Cham saw the three were in the transport he then signaled the combined forces. "They're in let's go." Cham said and thus they were ready to head out. One of the Clone Troopers mounted the creature and in turn it began to jump about a bit as the clone held on.
(Back with Mace)
As the three were in the container they saw it was filled with Grineer troops causing them to act fast and sliced and shoot them all down. The three were the only ones in the vehicle and thus Mace contacted his Clones. "Commander I'll need you to create a diversion." Mace began with his orders. "Get the rest of Lightning Squadron ready." The Jedi General ordered knowing it was time to move out.
(Army)
"Yes sir." The clone responded knowing it was time to move out.
"My men are ready." Cham said as he rode up next to the Clone ready to take back his home.
(With the Tenno)
In turn the Tenno got to their take off point which happened to be a huge wall. "Ready? Get ready." Muriel began and thus they were ready for what came next. "NOW!" Muriel called out and in turn the four activated their Archwings and flew up the wall to the Capital City. They stuck close to the wall as their Frame's armor grinded against the wall a couple times creating sparks from the friction.
"Oh boy." Ariel said as she tried to hold on as best she could.
"Stay on target." Muriel ordered as they went straight up to infiltrate the City.
The flew closer and closer while keeping steady as if they can keep low enough they should be safe from detection, Muriel just hope they can arrive in time to spring their attack.
(Bridge area)
As the ground transports soon arrived on the bridge, two Grineer soldiers pull out devices that could scan for life form other than them, as one held up a hand telling the driver to stop in place, while saying "Halt!"
As they did, the two soon began to scan the first transport, over and under it and clear it, before they move onto the 2nd suddenly they gotten a hit, right away, with both Grineer looked at each other while giving a nod while pulling out their gun to prepared to fire upon who was in the 2nd transport.
(Inside the transport)
"Here they come," Mace said as other than hearing the Grineer, he can sense them as well, as they maybe defected clones with cybernetic implants, they are still living beings, as he and the two clones ready themselves to attack the moment the doors open, as they heard from the Tenno, first sigh of an enemy and the Grineer will shot with no hesitation.
(The Calvary)
With everyone waiting and watching the scene with one clone with his binoculars as he look down at the scene, seeing the two Grineer coming around to the 2nd transport as he said to the clone next to him, "Trooper, prepare to fire!"
(Bridge)
"Open the doors," a Grineer said as the two came around to the back of the transport, with the cargo doors opening, and right away they were meet with mace and the two clones, as mace quickly pull their guns away before they could fire them and the two clones fire at them.
One they were both getting hit, but their shield took most of the shots as they started running, with mace activating his lightsaber and quickly cut one down while the other keep on running and call out, "Intruders! Shut down the bridge!"
The Grineer was soon blasted from behind from a Walker that fire down at the bridge hitting the Grineer while the rest were firing around in the air at the hover crafts destroying them quickly.
Down below the Tenno made it to the fight as it just started, as they avoided the friendly fire and enemy fire as well as they cut and shot down a few hover crafts themselves as they flew over to the control tower to the bridge.
(Control room)
The Grineer acted quickly to deactivate the bridge, knowing their brethren were already dead, as the last Grineer pull down a lever to power down the bridge.
(The battle)
The bridge was fluctuating a sign that the bridge was shutting down as mace soon yelled out, "Run for it!"
With the Tenno taken care of some of the Grineer forces, Icarus stop for a moment as he heard the powering down sound as he turn to the bridge seeing it was about to go out, with Muriel taking notice of this herself before she yells out, "Muriel get them off the bridge quickly and be quick about it!"
"You got it!" Icarus said as he flew down to the ground level, while removing his archwings as they would just get in his way, as he activated his Warframe's power, he took off in a blink of an eye vanishing from where he once stood with a blur that can only be seen by everyone else.
(Icarus's speed view)
Icarus soon came running across the bridge at great speeds soon reaching the clones that seem to be running towards the other side of the bridge, with little time and strength, he can only carry one person at a time as he grab the first clone and rush him across the bridge quick as he could before rush back and grab the 2nd clone.
The bridge was soon fading out with Icarus gotten the 2nd clone to safety already, he turn back around and saw the bridge was now gone, and everyone was slowly falling down slowly.
With Icarus lean down with his hand touching the ground as he prepares himself for the fastest run he ever done as he said, "Let's do it!"
Soon enough he took off, faster than before as he run off the edge where the bridge supposed to be at, leaping over in the air as he leap up onto a hover craft before leaping away to reach the first transport and rush across it to the 2nd transport and saw Mace had manage to grab the transport as it was falling.
Grabbing him, putting mace on his back before hoping off the transport, onto the next one before leaping off towards a nearby hovercrafts, landing off it while taking out the Grineer on it with his weapon before leaping off one last time and onto the other side of the bridge.

The clones felt a bit dizzy as they were carried across the bridge in less than a second drop to their knee while trying to hold back from puking as Icarus said to them while putting down mace to the ground as he said, "Sorry about that, but the nausea feeling should fade after a few minutes, so I suggest laying low for a bit until you recover and we get the bridge back on. See ya!"
Soon enough he look off again and join up with his fellow Tenno as they were fighting for control of the control tower.
(With the Twi'Lek)
Seeing that they were in Cham rallied the troops and thus they were off. "Charge!" Cham called out and thus the final stretch of the battle of Ryloth began. Laser fire began as it was clear this was going to be a battle that went down in the history books.
(With Mace group)
AS Mace Windu used his Lightsaber to deflect any oncoming bullet shots the Clone Troopers returned fire as the trio took on their foes. It was a battlefield as unaware to them the Tenno were already close to their desired target.
(With the Tenno)
As the Grineer were overseeing the area of the bridge they saw the battle taking place and the army coming their way. There were for Grineer in all and from the door the four quietly snuck in. Once they were in it was a simple matter of silencing their foes and killing them. Taking charge Muriel went to the controls and lifted the lever.
"Bridge is on unleash the Void!" Muriel said into the communicator as she knew this battle was there's. "Come on let's find our target." Muriel said knowing that it may come down to either capturing him or killing him.
(Battle)
As the bridge activated once more the unified army charged down the path as the Twi'lek cheered for their saviors. Over with Windu he saw more Grineer Troops coming in and in turn used the Force to lift them all up. Once he did that he sliced through them all with his Lightsaber dealing the killing blow to them. He then saw a Grineer tank and opted to use the gate to take it down. The Heavy door did as Mace wanted and crushed the tank under its weight.
As the Twi'lek entered the city with the Clones the natives cheered for them all as they knew they were saved at long last. Once this happened Cham and Mace regrouped as they looked to each other. "You deal with these ones I'll go find their commander." Mace said and thus he was off to locate the Grineer Commander. With a nod Cham made an opening for Mace to move in and in turn the Jedi as off to aid the Tenno.
(With Red Team)
Red Team was seen charging through the area until they arrived at a large open air strip. "Jeez where the heck is he?" Muriel asked as she led her squad to locate their quarry.
But as they got there they soon heard movement and looked to see who or what it was. From the Large Doors a savage Grineer roar was heard and from it Van'Lux charged out wielding a massive hammer and all but showing off his cybernetic enhancements. His Hammer was a Jat Kittag which in all likely hood would prove to be a problem for them.
"I thinks we just found him." Ariel said as she saw the large Grineer standing there and from the looks of it he was angry.
"YOU DAMNED TENNO!" Van'Lux yelled as he glared at the Tenno in pure contempt.
"Hey Van'Lux I take it." Muriel said as she glared at the Tenno Commander.
"The same." Van'Lux said showing he was itching for a chance to end these Tenno swine.
"Look normally we'd be fighting and trying to kill each other but you got a chance now, we were asked to bring you in alive but if you refuse then..." Muriel said as she looked to her foe.
"I shall not shame the Queens and surrender I will rend you and your frames and mount them on my wall!" The Grineer leader yelled and slammed his hammer down causing the area to shake a bit.
"Ok diplomacy failed so now we get to fight!" Icarus said showing he was itching for a chance to take on this foe. In response Van'Lux charged at them and slammed his hammer down on them. The Group in response jumped out of the way and avoided their foes attack. In turn they each began to fire upon them with their weapons but alas their bullets bounced off the Commander's armor showing they needed to find a chink in it. They in turn kept their distance and sought out an opening and weakness in the Grineer foe they can exploit.
They battle went on as Icarus ran around trying to find some way to get their foe to lighten up. In turn he ran around fast and began attacking his foe every time he got close using hit and run tactics to keep him on his toes. Following it up Ariel charged in and swung her Pennant at him as Van'Lux swung his hammer at the Railjack enthusiast. Their attacks clashed causing a small shock wave from the weapons collision. The two then parted way and in turn Ariel busted out her Archgun Larkspur and opened fire on her foe. The resulting beam forced Van'Lux to jump back but the blast caused him to stumble and fall.
As Van'Lux began to get back up the group noticed vents on his body opened releasing excess steam which meant they had an edge. Van'Lux can't get too hot or he'll over heat which was their edge over him. "I have an idea!" Lula called out as she knew how they could win this fight now. They all had a similar idea and in turn proceeded to act on the idea to bring this foe down hard.
The plan was simple when Van'Lux opened his vents he was left vulnerable so that means they had to let him do his attacks a couple of times before they countered him. Once that was done it would be a simple matter for the Tenno. In turn Van'Lux began to attack the Tenno who either blocked or avoided the attacks thankful that their shields had them covered for this.
They avoided his attacks as best they could and waited for the opportunity to present itself to them. As this continued Van'Lux attacks grew slower until he suddenly stopped and in turn the vents on his body opened back up. "Now!" Muriel called out and thus she began to attack as they opened fire him causing the Grineer pain as blood mixed with coolant flowed out from the injuries. They continued their assault until the Vents closed and in turn he snarled and charged at them. This opted the Tenno to dodge the attack and in turn Lula activated Energy Vampire to help keep her allies health up.
As they continued their hit and run tactic they waited for Van'Lux's vents to open back up knowing he would have to open them eventually less he causes himself harm. In turn Van'Lux vents began to open and thus they Tenno repeated their assault hitting him with everything they got. Van'Lux was forced into a corner as he knew if he opened his vents he was leaving himself open. But this Grineer Commander was not one to run from a fight or surrender victory or death was everything to him and in turn if he cannot win he will make sure neither can his foes.
He then charged in to attack again as his bodies pressure began to build up once more as he swung wildly attempting to hit the Tenno. The Tenno were too fast for him as it was clear something had to give. But he refuses to allow his vents a chance to open until he had some distance to do so. As this continued he then spun around with his hammer forcing the Tenno back and thus he began to open his vents.
But something was wrong as Van'Lux vents were struggling to open. He then looked for the source and saw Mace Windu there keeping his Vents close. "Hey you made it!" Muriel called out as she saw the Jedi here.
"I figured your plan out simple enough." Mace said as he used the Force to keep Van'Lux vents close as the pressure from his cybernetics began to build up for it.
"No! Unhand me now!" Van'Lux yelled as he glared at Mace.
"Not until you formally surrender to us." Mace said as he wasn't going to let this Grineer escape. "Surrender and I promise you will be treated fairly." Mace said but Van'Lux glared at the group.
"NEVER!" He yelled as he rather die the surrender and bring shame to his queens. He then saw some explosive containers nearby and in turn knew what to do. He charged at them as the pressure from his cybernetics continued to build to critical levels as he then took out two grenades.
"Stop!" Muriel called out knowing what a combination of this will lead to.
"For the Queens!" Van'Lux yelled and in turn set off the Grenade. The Cybernetics pressures couldn't take any more and thus both grenade and Grineer exploded taking the tanks with them causing huge explosion for this. Using the Force Mace acted fast and contained the destruction from the attack. Eventually the Explosion began to end as the blast went around them leaving them all unharmed thanks to the Force User. Once it ended the Twi'Lek Rebels and Clone Troopers ran in and saw what had happened.
"HE chose death over failure." Mace said as this was truly one depraved soul.
"He was insane but given the past what else can be said about them?" Muriel said as she knew what happened back then and why the Grineer had turned to violence over their original purpose as builders.
When thing began to calm Cham turned to Mace and the Tenno. "I thank you both Tenno and Master Jedi. Today all of Ryloth thanks you." Cham said and in turn Mace nodded.
"You've earned your freedom, General. All of you." Mace said as it was clear Ryloth was freed and now came the healing process for the planet.
(Scene Break Tenno Ship)
Celebrations began as the Tenno squads were in the Ship preparing to leave. Their job was done and now that New Loka representatives had arrived with Senator Taa they can acknowledge the elephant in the room in the form of Numa. "Say what now?" Muriel asked as High Council Member Chroma stood with the Tenno and the hologram of The Lotus.
"Numa isn't the First or only Child to be touched by the Void." Chroma confessed as he then showed a list of others who had been given similar gifts. "Ever since we've arrived here a surge of these signals have become noted and we know not the cause." Chroma said as he was speaking of the Tenno's arrive to this Galaxy.
"But this is impossible." Nico said as she was finding it hard to believe.
"Normally it would be but I think that some sort of awakening had begun and we are the catalysts for it." Chroma said looking to the Tenno.
"So what's the plan sir?" Zayne asked to which Chroma knew what to do.
"The council is already in agreement we find these children and teach them control and if they wish to further that, train them in the ways of Tenno." Chroma said as he knew this had begun for a reason. "We must be better than the Orokin we can't allow them to be killed or be used as weapons like we were." Chroma said and thus Zayne had two words to say.
"For Margulis." Zayne said and thus they were all in agreement
"For Margulis." They all agreed as Margulis had sacrificed her life so they may live. They would save these Children from those who would mean them harm or worse. They would do what their surrogate mother Margulis had done for them and help these children in whatever way they can. Unaware to the Tenno dark forces were at work as the two Galaxies were melding in more ways than they even realized.
