"I found the wall of fare wells."
Hiroshi stared back at the hologram image of Mei. The council had awakened him in the night saying there was an emergency.
Hiroshi still though amazing how the definition of emergency is different for each person.
"And?"
Mei sighted and stared to the side. Indecision playing in her lip as she tilted her head.
"I cannot say I understand why Mist did what they did. It seems weird with a little more perspective."
Hiroshi sighed and rose up.
"Good for you. Can we cut off and go to bed?"
"Wait!"
Mei exclaimed. and Hiroshi stopped to stare at her. As she took a deep breath.
"It was wrong. Kiri should not have done what it did. Uzu was a country that did represent a military power. But it was not one that had ever exercised it out of spite."
She looked up grimacing.
"Kiri acted out of fear."
Hiroshi sighed as he sat again.
"What do you want Mei?"
She grimaced.
"I want my country back."
Hiroshi tilted his head.
"What do you want from us?"
Her sharpened.
"Help me take it back."
"One, we don't have shinobi to send to you. And Two why to topple a government to have it replaced for another corrupt one. That is the nature of revolution, it always walks back to the beginning."
Mei chewed into her lips.
"Then help me make it better."
Hioroshi stared at her for a long moment.
"Oaths were broken a price must be paid."
She stared sharply at him as the other members glanced.
"The seven swords. After the topple of Yagura. The seven swords must be released to us."
Mei inhaled sharply, her eyes glanced at the other members. All stoned face and daring not contradict him.
"The seven swords are a symbol of Kiri."
"They are a symbol of broken oaths and promises."
The two stared. And Mei tilted her head.
"If I agreed the price don't seem right. I would be giving you the swords and I would be getting no shinobi. What would you trade to us."
"Food aplenty. Fuinjutsu support. Communications that no other village possess. Not even Konoha."
Mei looked up at him sharply.
"But only to topple the current govern. After that I will make all of then insert."
She stared slowly at him wondering.
"And once I am establishing the new mist regime?"
Hirsoshi stared beyond.
"If tomorrow every nation in the elemental nation were to declare peace, what would your shinobi do?"
She stared him as if he was an idiot.
"We are not making a revolution Mei. As I stated, a revolution for its own nature, will always end up in it own beginning. If our plans come together, there may be no more wars as we know then today. What will your shinobi do then?"
She stared at him for a moment a mentioned.
"What would you have then be in such a world?"
Hiroshi tilted his head and smiled ruefully.
"Maybe be elite police forces. To serve and protect."
She stared at him. And closed her eyes as if imagining it.
"It may not occur in our generation."
Hiroshi smiled as she looked up to him.
"Would you plant this idea for the next generation?"
She looked at him and nodded slowly.
"Then I believe we can come to and understanding."
The knock on the door was weirdly. Well timed with his brewing coffee. Hiroshi blinked and walked up the front door.
The woman smiling on the other side was beautiful in very homely way. And yet something about her seemed off, he glance at her sides.
A five year old Sasuke stared up at him and on the other side Itachi looked up at him with the leather pouch that carried the diaries.
"Good morning Hiroshi-dono."
"Good morning Itachi."
The boy twitched al little and the woman chuckled. Hirsohi glanced at her.
"I am Uchiha Mikoto, Hiroshi-dono."
Hiroshi blinked at her.
"Well nice to meet you."
He glanced back and at the brewing coffee.
"Well come in. We can have a little breakfast."
The woman bowed.
"We wouldn't like to impose."
Hiroshi glanced at Itachi staring fixedly at the coffee bottle already on the table. He opened the door wider allowing her to walk in.
"I don't believe your definition of `we` Is the same as his."
Stared angrily at Itachi that retreated his hand from the bottle.
"Hands of the coffee. You are a damn addict. You will not have my whole fill again."
Mikoto seemed ridiculous amused.
"That is curious. Itachi always preferred sweets over bitter things."
"You never made coffee jelly before."
The teen did not glance at his mother as she tilted her head curiously at Hiroshi.
"It was an experiment. I do it once in a while."
Hiroshi ate exchanging polite conversation as he looked at the clock.
"Okay time to go."
Hiroshi walked out as he noticed Mikoto still following him.
"You coming to the play rehearsal?"
She nodded.
"Itachi told me that it would be a general rehearsed today."
Hiroshi blinked and nodded. She smiled softly.
"I would like to see it."
Before Hiroshi could answer a kid crashed on his leg. He looked down at the blonde boy with blues eyes that stared wide eyes at him.
Karin walked right next to him helping the boy up.
"Naruto! You okay?"
The kid looked up at her and smiled, Hiroshi glanced at the Uchiha family. Itachi looked stoic, then usual. Susuke looked curious. Mikoto was way harder to read.
Hiroshi looked down at then as he kneeled on eye level with Naruto.
"You okay kid?"
Hiroshi looked him over and around finally seeing Hitomi.
"Karin! Naruto! You two better have a good reason to be running off… oh Hello hiroshi."
Hitomi greeted looking up the Uchiha matriarch who seemed to have recovered. And smiled.
"Are they yours?"
Hitomi smiled softly.
"Karin is mine, and Naruto..."
She glanced down pating his head.
"Perhaps one day officially. But he already is family."
Mikoto nodded softly. Hiroshi shrugged and walked forward there was some commotion and the group began to follow him as he picked up the diaries and was reading through passages.
There was stuff to do.
Hiroshi looked back at the elders training the children in the academy.
And stopped, rubbing his chin.
Hitomi glanced at him.
"What are you looking at?"
Hiroshi nodded.
"Experience."
There was much to do indeed.
There a rhythmic clack of the train and the sound of the locomotive.
He winced as he looked up to the chamine expelling withe water vapor.
Yes it was solar.
No nothing was burning for the boiler.
He grimaced. They created a train that can stock sun light and heat and transfer it in heat for the boiler.
He remembered a thousand models of stove that worked in that same principle of direct sun light heating up the food. and Looked up at the chimine.
Electrical solar power may be a little off for the elemental nation for some time yet.
The train began to slow down. At least the commute to work became really short.
The space between the village and little Uzu was a chore to walk by, but the simple commuter train was a pleasant and even enjoyable ride.
Hiroshi frowned looking a bit to the side. What made him a little nervous was the fact that Konoha had allowed the building of the train in the first place.
He took a deep breath ignoring it as he disembarked as new passengers were to embark, ad wasn't that peculiar.
Civilians and even shinobi enjoyed the garden for Little Uzu.
As he walked up the store Iruka was waiting outside with one of the employees staring outside. Exchange little talk with the boy.
""Iruka seemed to perk up at seeing him.
"I am reporting for duty."
Hiroshi blinked at him.
"Good we will start at getting some code in the service area."
