The next morning, Peter meets up with Liz to work on a new nuclear electricity project with the other professors and lab assistants. The idea was pitched to rebuild the nuclear electrical reactor to make it more resistant to electrical storms. Everyone agreed so they had a meeting to come up with new parts to make sure an accident like the one the other night never happened again.
"So everyone agrees with making the reactor electrical storm resistant" a professor says. "But we have to come up with which parts will be suitable" he added. "What we can do is add in voltage surge protectors along with lightning arresters so that way electricity can still run highly without interruptions from storms" Peter says. "But how is that going to help with electrical storms Pete?" Liz asked. "It's simple Liz, just add in more gigawatts of electricity with the protectors and arresters then we have electricity that will never go out" Peter explains. It's not really that simple, we have to find good parts which is very difficult to find" a lab assistant adds. "How about this? We test a reactor with only a surge protector, another with only lightning arresters, and this one with both to see which one works best" a lab assistant adds. "That's impossible because we don't have the money and resources to create three test machines" Professor adds.
Suddenly, the lights turn off. "What just happened?" a lab assistant asks. "I don't know. Maybe there's something wrong with the electrical wiring or something on campus" Liz says. "Hopefully it's not Electro" Peter says. The lights turn on again and Electro makes an appearance at the meeting.
"Hello everyone Electro here and would like to pitch in ideas for my electrical plans" Electro says. "I know what they are and it is to destroy electricity in all of New York! So scram or I'll bring the police here!" Professor exclaims. Electro electrocutes him but the professor survives. "Shut up Doc" Electro says. "Where did everybody go?" he asks to himself. Spider-Man then webs up Electro. "We meet Electro" Spider-Man says. Electro breaks free using his electrical powers. "Spider-Man, you think you can stop me but you can't" Electro says. Spider-Man charges at him but he charges him back with electricity causing him to fly to the wall outside the meeting room. Electro escapes in a jiffy but Spider-Man slowly gets back up and uses his spider sense to find him in the city.
In the city electro shuts down some of the buildings electricity. The citizens are screaming and the police show up to trap him. "Freeze electro man! You're surrounded by the police!" Policeman says. "Not for long" Electro says. He electrocutes the car causing them to explode but the policeman run from it just in time. "Look it's Spider-Man!" Policeman says. Spider-Man comes swinging to knock out Electro with his two feet. "Knock it off Electro and put the power back to the people! Now!" Spider-Man exclaims. As Electro gets back up, Spider-Man throws web balls at him hoping it will weaken him but is charged at by him electrocuting him. "Told you Spidey, you can't defeat me. Not even Superman or Hulk can defeat me" Electro says. "Oh give me a break Superman doesn't exist. Even if he did he would so defeat you easily" Spider-Man says. He then web slings a broken piece of a building and yanks it towards him. Electricity comes up and he zaps him really bad causing him to fly to the Empire State Building. Electro escapes for the day.
As soon as Spider-Man gets closer to the Empire State Building, he wakes up and web zips at the liner on top of it saving his own life. "Whew, what a tough battle that was" He says. "There has to be another way to defeat him, but anyhow I need to head back to the house to meet up with MJ and Mayday." He swings back home for the day.
