Chapter 5: Search Gone Wrong: Part 3
(Information: Head for Lanayru Bridge to get to Lake Hylia!)
Sora, Donald, and Goofy begin moving through Hyrule Field to get to the east to get to Lanayru Bridge and they head for the east direction of the field where they find a small cave like area and go through it and go to a different area.
(Lanayru Bridge)
Sora, Donald, and Goofy arrive at a long bridge standing over a steep valley with water below.
"This is it. Lanayru Bridge." Sora said.
"So, Lanaryu Bridge'll take us over to Lake Hylia, right?" Goofy asked.
"That's what Impa said." Donald said.
"Then we better get a move on if we wanna head for Zora's Domain." Sora said.
The trio begin moving through Lanayru Bridge but as they keep moving Goofy stops and his left ear raises.
"Huh?" Goofy asked.
"What's up?" Sora asked.
"I coulda sworn I heard somethin'." Goofy said.
"You're probably just imagining it." Donald said still moving.
"Well, c'mon, we gotta get movin'." Sora said as he moves.
The trio keep crossing the bridge but unknowing to them a flying shadow figure hovers above them.
"So, the fools are here and on their way to the Zora's Domain. Let's see if this doesn't slow them down!" The shadow figure said conjuring a purple fireball and throws it.
As the trio keep going Donald stops and sees the purple fireball.
"Look out!" Donald yelled but Goofy blocks the fireballs with his shield.
"What was that?" Goofy asked.
"Heartless? Show yourself!" Sora yelled summoning his Keyblade.
Just then another purple fireball hits the bridge causing burn marks on the ground.
"Whatever's attackin' us, we better get outta here!" Goofy said.
"Fine by me!" Donald said as they start running.
(Information: Hurry through Lanayru Bridge while dodging the raining fire!)
The trio run through Lanayru Bridge while dodging the raining purple fireballs but as they keep running purple lightning appears striking the trio as well.
"Now it's lightning?!" Sora asked.
"Just keep runnin'!" Donald said.
The shadow figure unleashes more purple fireballs at the trio but Goofy blocks them with his shield and keep running through Lanayru Bridge but more purple lightning strikes the bridge but the trio dodge and they later reach the end of the bridge and they see the shadow figure flying off.
"That must be what was attacking us!" Donald said.
"But what is it? A Heartless?" Sora asked.
"I dunno, but we gotta hurry before it comes back." Goofy said as they head for the end of Lanayru Bridge.
Sora, Donald, and Goofy leave Lanayru Bridge and arrive at a plain area but they find snow.
"Snow?" Sora asked.
"But there was grass when we got here." Donald said.
"Gawrsh, it sure is freezin'." Goofy said shivering.
"Y-Yeah! Sooo cold! What's goin' on?" Sora asked.
"Something doesn't seem right, but we gotta press on." Donald said.
"Yeah, I guess so." Goofy said.
(Hyrule Plains)
(Information: Head for Lake Hylia!)
The trio start moving through the snowy plains and they later find water frozen into ice.
"Even the water's ice..." Sora said.
"Am I the only one, who doesn't think this is normal?" Goofy asked.
"No. Something's wrong, but what's causin' it?" Donald asked.
"Maybe the Heartless. Hopefully we'll get to the bottom of what's happenin'." Sora said.
The trio keep moving through the snowy plains and they later find a sign that says 'Lake Hylia' and so they continue through the snowy plains and arrive at a different place.
(Lake Hylia)
The trio arrive at lake area where there is still snow and ice and the lake itself is frozen into solid ice.
"We're in Lake Hylia, but it's frozen!" Goofy said.
"Okay, something needs to be done." Sora said.
"Maybe the Zoras'll know what's goin' on. We gotta head for their domain." Donald said and they nod.
The trio begin moving through the frozen Lake Hylia but then Soldier Heartless, Large Body Heartless, Ice Poes, and Stalfos appear and surround the trio.
"Guess we'll have to fight our way!" Sora said and the two nod.
(Information: Fight off the enemies!)
The Soldier Heartless attack with their claws while the Ice Poes conjure icicles to attack but Sora attacks the Soldiers with Kingdom Key followed by two horizontal slashes and then a blitz attack while Donald casts Fire at the Ice Poes but the Large Body Heartless slam the ground and unleash shock waves while the Stalfos attack with their swords but Goofy uses Tornado while Sora casts Thunder but the Soldiers deliver leaping attacks while the Stalfos leap attack with their swords but Donald casts Blizzard while Goofy uses Goofy Turbo and sends the enemies to Sora who aerial slashes with Kingdom Key followed by casting Fire but the Large Bodies get enraged and charge at Sora who blocks stunning them allowing Donald to cast Thunder but the Ice Poes conjure ice beams to freeze the enemies while the Stalfos swing their swords but Sora attacks with Kingdom Key and then uses Sonic Blade and they defeat all the enemies.
The trio keep moving through the frozen Lake Hylia to get to Zora's Domain and they see the frozen water leading to an icy upper part of the lake and so the trio begin climbing up to reach the upper part of the lake and following the frozen water until they later find a frozen waterfall blocking the way.
"Looks like we'll have to get rid of this to get through." Sora said as he casts Fire on the frozen waterfall revealing a hole.
The trio go into the hole taking them somewhere else.
(Field Theme: Zora's Domain)
(Zora's Domain-Zora City)
The trio arrive at a watery cave like area with frozen water as well as blue and red fish-human hybrid like creatures frozen in ice.
"We're finally here." Donald said.
"But look, everythin' and everyone's frozen!" Goofy said.
"This is bad. We gootta do something." Sora said and they nod.
(Information: Help the Zoras!)
The trio begin moving through the Zora's Domain and they find one of the Zoras and Sora casts Fire to unfreeze the first Zora.
"Whew! I thought I was gonna be frozen forever! Thanks a lot!" The first Zora said.
"Do you know what happened to Lake Hylia and this place?" Sora asked.
"Oh, it's just terrible! It wasn't like this until now." The first Zora said.
"What happened?" Donald asked.
"First, see if you can help the other Zoras and our king, Doripon. He can explain what happened." The first Zora said.
"Okay, we'll help out how we can." Sora said and Donald and Goofy nod.
The trio keep moving through Zora's Domain looking for other frozen Zoras and they find two more frozen Zoras and Sora casts Fire unfreezing them.
"Finally! I was getting tired of being in the ice!" The second Zora said.
"Ugh, I'm still cold, even after being unfrozen." The third Zora said.
"Do ya know where King Doripon is?" Goofy asked.
"Yeah, he's at the throne room, as always. He's probably frozen, just like the rest of us." The second Zora said.
"First, see if you can save the rest. They're family to us." The third Zora said.
The trio continue to find more frozen Zoras and Sora casts Fire to unfreeze them freeing them and they head for the upper part of the domain and find more frozen Zoras and Sora and Donald use their Fire magic to unfreeze more Zoras and later all Zoras are unfrozen.
"That's all of 'em!" Sora said.
"There's still their king." Donald said.
"The throne room should be up there somewhere." Goofy said.
The trio find the throne room and climb to the upper area and they find a hole and use it to take them to a room.
(Zora's Domain-Zora Throne Room)
The trio enter the throne room and find a giant blue Zora wearing a crown and red sash frozen on the throne.
"That's him and he's frozen!" Donald said.
"Leave it to me!" Sora said casting Fire unfreezing the Zora King.
"Ugh, finally free from that wretched ice prison!" The Zora King said.
"You alright, King Zora?" Goofy asked.
"You're the ones, who unfroze me. You have my thanks. I am Doripon, King of the Zoras. Tell me, who are you strangers?" Doripon asked.
"Sora, Your Majesty. These are Donald and Goofy. We were sent by the Royal Family of Hyrule." Sora said.
"Is that so? You're allies to the Hyrule Royal Family as well? Why have they sent you to my domain?" Doripon asked.
"Um, the thing is..." Sora stops talking.
"Princess Zelda is missing and we need to find her." Donald said.
"We thought she'd be here with ya." Goofy said.
"What?! The Princess has gone missing?! Unfortunately, we have not seen her recently, otherwise, she would be here right now." Doripon said.
"Man..." Sora said.
"But, since you did come all this way, perhaps you can help with our problem." Doripon said.
"Sure thing. Is it about why this place is frozen?" Sora asked.
"Yes, for you see, Lake Hylia and our domain were not in this current state until now." Doripon said.
"Do you know why Lake Hylia and your domain is frozen?" Donald asked.
"A terrible curse was placed in our sacred temple that caused our beloved home to freeze endlessly. Unless that curse is lifted, Lake Hylia's waters will remain frozen." Doripon said.
"That's terrible." Goofy said.
"What's worse was before we were frozen, my beloved daughter, Rutilia, had left to our temple to investigate the curse, but has never returned. I shudder at the thought of what would become of her." Doripon said.
"So, if we go to this temple and lift the freezing curse, then the snow and ice'll go away?" Sora asked.
"Yes." Doripon said.
"Where is the temple?" Donald asked.
"The Zora Temple is located at the Zora Fountain. All you must do is use the door behind me. It will take you to Zora Fountain and you should be able to get to the Zora Temple. I shall open the way for you." Doripon said as he moves aside and performs a spell to make a wall open. "Proceed carefully, for the temple has been overrun by monsters as of late." Doripon said.
"No problem! We'll also try to find your daughter for you!" Sora said.
"Do this, and we Zoras will be in your debt." Doripon said.
The trio go for the opened wall taking them outside.
(Zora's Domain-Zora Fountain)
Sora, Donald, and Goofy are now outside of the domain where they find more snow as well as ice platforms on the water and so the trio use the ice platforms to get through the water but then Octorocs appear from the waters and begin shooting rocks at the trio but Sora deflects the rocks back at the Octorocs sending them back to the water and they keep moving until they reach the other side and they come across a temple in the water.
"Looks like that's it." Sora said.
"And it looks like it's gonna be underwater, which means we'll have to do some swimming." Donald said.
"Hey, your magic'll help with that. What do you have to complain about?" Sora asked.
"Well, we better get a move on." Goofy said.
The trio go for the temple by going into the water and start swimming for the temple's entrance and they get on the temple's entrance which s like a lift which takes them down into the underwater temple.
(Field Theme: Zora Temple)
(Zora Temple-Temple Entrance)
The trio are now in the Zora Temple and it's dark, ruined, and full of ice on walls and floors while iciles are hanging on the temple's ceiling.
"We're in the temple, now we gotta find this curse's source." Sora said.
"But where do we start?" Donald asked.
"Guess we'll have to do a lotta explorin'." Goofy said.
"Yeah and we gotta that Rutilia girl too." Sora said.
(Information: Search the Zora Temple for the source of the curse!)
The trio begin moving through the temple entrance to find the curse's source but then Ice Poes and Blue Rhapsody Heartless appear and attack but Sora attacks with his Keyblade while Donald casts Fire while Goofy bashes with his shield defeating the enemies and they keep moving through the temple entrance and they arrive at a center area of the entrance with three different doors but the middle door and the right door are frozen shut while the left door is open and so they decide to go for the left door and arrive at a different part of the temple.
(Zora Temple-Waterway)
The trio arrive at a waterway of the Zora Temple and they find a hole with unfrozen water and so the trio decide to go into the water and start swimming through the water until they find another hole and so they swim up taking them to the other side of the waterway but as they get out the water is now frozen but they move on and go to a different room where they find someone running and it's a female red and blue Zora wearing a blue sash running from Ice Poes.
"A Zora!" Sora said.
"And she's in danger!" Donald said and they run to help.
The female Zora runs to a wall only for the Ice Poes to close in on her but the trio confront the Poes with their weapons.
"Go and take cover! We'll take 'em!" Sora said.
"Who are you? Where did you come from?" The female Zora asked.
"No time! Get to safety!" Donald said.
"Hmph! I'm going because I want to!" The female Zora said running.
"Okay, now we got your attention!" Sora said.
The Ice Poes conjures ice needles to attack the trio but Goofy blocks with his shield and then uses Charge while Donald casts Fire causing great damage but the Ice Poes disappear and reappear and they conjure ice beams but Sora attacks with Kingdom Key followed by a vertical slash and then casts Fire but the Ice Poes conjure more ice needles to attack but Donald counters with casting Thunder while Sora attacks with Kingdom Key followed by a spinning slash but the Ice Poes disappear and reappear and they conjure ice beams but Goofy uses Tornado while Donald casts Fire while Sora triple attacks with Kingdom Key followed by diagonal slashes and they defeat all the Ice Poes.
The female Zora comes out of hiding and approaches the trio.
"Good, glad you're safe." Sora said.
"I will not ask again! Who are you and why are you here?" The female Zora asked.
"Hey, you could say 'thank you'!" Donald said crossing his arms.
"My name's Sora and these are Donald and Goofy. We were sent by King Doripon to investigate the Zora Temple for the freezing curse." Sora said.
"Wait, Father sent you?! Ugh, he thinks I can't do things myself!" The female Zora said.
"Wait, 'Father'?" Sora asked.
"Does that mean you're Princess Rutilia?" Goofy asked.
"Yes, I am Rutilia, Princess of the Zoras! I am also here to try and undo this wretched freeze curse on my people! Now, if you would be so kind as to leave! I have the situation under control!" Rutilia said walking away.
"But your father..." Sora was cut off.
"You can tell Father I will return when I am finished here! Now, I will not say this again! Go away!" Rutilia commanded leaving.
"What a spoiled brat." Donald said tapping his foot.
"What should we do?" Goofy asked.
"I'm not leaving 'till we help the Zoras. We promised King Doripon." Sora said.
"I knew you'd say that." Donald said.
The trio continue moving through the waterway and they find another hole with water as well as Rutilia herself.
"Hey." Sora said.
"What?! You're still here?! I told you to get lost!" Rutilia yelled.
"Yeah, I heard you, but I'm not leaving! We promised your father we'd help the Zoras!" Sora said.
"So, we're stayin' whether you like it or not!" Donald said.
"Ugh, you're insolent and impossible! Fine, by decree of Zora Royalty, I hereby make you my personal bodyguards! You must do everything I say! No questioning my order, no leaving my side, and specifically to the duck, no backtalking!" Rutilia said.
"Fine." Sora said.
"What was that?" Rutilia asked.
"I mean, yes, Princess." Sora said.
"Very good. Your order is to protect me from those vile monsters while we invesigate the temple for this curse. We will use the water to move onward. I hope you're decent enough swimmers." Rutilia said.
"Oh, we're can handle it." Sora said grinning.
"Very well. Let's be off and keep close to me. You ARE my bodyguards until this is over." Rutilia said going into the water.
"Ugh, I can't believe we're stuck with her..." Donald said.
"Well, she probably knows this temple more than us so she's our best chance." Goofy said.
"Yeah. All we gotta do is work together until the curse is lifted." Sora said.
"Yeah, I guess." Donald said.
(Information: Explore Zora Temple while protecting Princess Rutilia!)
The trio go into the water with Rutilia and they begin swimming through the water but then Screwdiver Heartless and Octoroks appear and attack but Sora casts Thunder while Donald casts Blizzard while Goofy uses Tornado and they defeat the enemies and they keep swimming until they find a hole and swim up for it and they get out of the water but the water ends up freezing and so the trio continue moving through the waterway and arrive at a different room with Zora statues and frozen water and at the center of the room is what looks like a black and blue crystal.
"What's with the crystal?" Donald asked.
"I feel like it's pulsating with evil magic." Rutilia said.
"Could it be the source of the freezing curse?" Goofy asked.
"Bodyguards, get over there and smash it to bits!" Rutilia commanded.
"Yes, Your Highness." Sora said.
The trio go for the crystal but then Ice Poes appear.
"Move it!" Donald yelled.
"Don't just stand there! Destroy them!" Rutilia ordered.
The Ice Poes attack the trio who dodge and Donald and Goofy fight off the Poes while Sora starts attacking the crystal with his Keyblade and after enough attacks the crystal is destroyed and the ice in the room starts melting while the frozen water thaws and water starts pouring from the Zora statues.
"Whoa, the ice is gone." Sora said.
"So, that crystal was the cause of it." Goofy said.
"Looks like we're done." Donald said.
"I think not." Rutilia said.
"Huh?" Sora asked.
"You're not very smart, are you? Do you truly believe this is easy? What if there is MORE than one crystal? On top of that, we haven't even checked the ENTIRE temple. Destroying one thing means nothing." Rutilia said.
"She does have a point." Goofy said.
"As always. I'm a genius. Now, stop lollygagging and let's continue." Rutilia said moving.
"The sooner we're done here, the better." Donald said.
The trio and Rutilia continue moving through the waterway and they find another room with more statues and unfrozen water and so the trio and Rutilia begin swimming through the water while fighting off Screwdiver Heartless and Octoroks and they find what looks like a tunnel and enter it taking them to a different part of the water and keep swimming and find the same hole from before and they leave the waterway and return to the center of the entrance and they find the right door unfrozen and open and so they use the right door to take them to a different area.
(Zora Temple-Aquatic Chamber)
The trio and Rutilia arrive at an aquatic chamber of the temple and they find a spiral staircase and use it to climb up to the upper part of the chamber while dealing with Water Core Heartless that unleash water but Sora casts Blizzard freezing allowing Donald to cast Fire to finish them and they keep going upstairs until they arrive at adifferent room where it's frozen completely but icicles begin falling from the ceiling and so the trio and Rutilia move through the room while dodging the falling icicles but ice spikes begin rising from the floor but they dodge while still avoiding the falling icicles and they reach the end of the room and find a different room where they find two giant ice cubes with two different holes and so Sora pushes one of the ice cubes to one of the holes and Sora climbs up to and finds a small crystal and destroys it making something happen and so Sora pushes the other ice cube to the other hole and climbs up and they find a hole with more water and they begin swimming through the water but then Heartless appear and attack but the trio defeat them and continue swimming until they find another hole and swim up to get out only for the water to be frozen again and they find a different frozen room full of frozen water and a frozen water on walls and they find another black and blue crystal.
"Another one of them crystals." Goofy said.
"You know what to do." Rutilia said.
"Yeah, we know." Sora said.
Just then many Ice Poes appears but Donald and Goofy hold them off while Sora goes for the crystal and starts attacking the crystal which unleashes icy shock waves but Sora dodges the shock wave and casts Fire on the crystal and after enough attacks the crystal is destroyed and the ice starts thawing as water starts flowing once more.
"That's the second crystal done." Sora said.
"There should another one. Let's continue, shall we?" Rutilia said.
The trio keep moving through the aquatic chamber and begin swimming through the water while fighting off Octoroks and make their way back to the center of the entrance and they later return and find the middle door unfrozen and open and so they go for the middle door and go to the next area of the temple.
(Zora Temple-Zora Grotto)
The trio and Rutilia arrive at a grotto of the temple where they find more frozen water and icy mist hanging around the area and they explore the grotto for any more crystals and they find a frozen waterfall blocking the way and so Sora casts Fire to break the frozen wall revealing a hole and so the trio go into the hole and arrive at a chamber full of more frozen water but then they find someone in the same chamber and it's what looks like a white female duck with black shoulder length hair and wearing a black robe with purple, red, and blue spider web like designs and black heels.
"Huh? Someone's here." Goofy said.
"Hey, what's going on?" Sora asked and the female duck snickers.
"I've already placed my Frost Crystals all over this temple. Once placed, that vile domain of those wretched Zoras should be frozen, as well as Lake Hylia itself! What's more, I've already sent my Heartless in this temple to stop anyone from coming here." The female duck said.
"So you're the one repsonsible for this!" Rutilia yelled.
"Why're you doing this?" Sora asked.
"Isn't it obvious? To establish the power of the Grimm! Soon, all of Hyrule will truly fear us once all the Triforce pieces are ours!" The female duck said.
"The Triforce?!" Donald asked shocked.
"So, you're working for Maleficent?" Sora asked.
"What? Don't be absurd! Why would I work for that second-rate hag? No, We have our onw plans!" The female duck said.
"Well, ya can't just go and hurt people." Goofy said.
"Oh? And why shoudln't I?" The female duck asked turning to face the trio but sees Donald and Goofy. "Well, well, I was right! You two ARE here!" The female duck said.
"Magica!" Donald yelled.
"Magica?" Goofy asked.
"Donald Duck, I never thought I'd see the day to see you and that incompetent lout of a captain!" Magica said.
"But what're YOU doing here?!" Donald demanded.
"Hang on, you guys know her?" Sora asked.
"We sure do. That's Magica De Spell. She's a powerful witch." Goofy said.
"She caused nothin' but trouble for ages, mostly for me, Unca Scrooge, and our family! King Mickey and I banished her away to a different dimension a long time ago as punishment! How did YOU escape?" Donald asked.
"Hehehe, isn't it obvious, Donald? The power of darkness was our key of escape. Now, we're after something much more than your Uncle's precious dime; The Triforce! Once it's in the Grimm's possession, everything will belong to us!" Magica said.
"Yeah, good for you, but that's not gonna happen!" Sora said taking out his Keyblade.
"Ahh, do let me guess, you are Sora, yes? I've heard much of you and just like that round eared tyrant, you're an obstacle!" Magica said as she uses magic to summon Ice Poes, Water Core Heartless, Blue Rhapsody Heartless, and Octoroks. "Keep them busy, my darlings! I have a matter to attend to." Magica said as she disappears.
"Bodyguards..." Rutilia was cut off.
"Yeah, yeah, we know!" Donald said.
(Information: Defeat the enemies!)
The Ice Poes conjure ice beams to try and freeze the group while Water Core Heartless unleash water but Sora casts Blizzard to freeze the Water Cores allowing Donald to cast Fire on the Water Cores and the Ice Poes but the Octoroks fire rocks to attack Sora and Donald but Goofy blocks with his shield and then uses Charge but the Blue Rhapsody Heartless jump around and shoot ice shots only for Donald to cast Fire stunning them and Sora attacks with Kingdom Key followed by a vertical slash and then uses Blitz but the Water Cores turn to water and rush at the trio dealing damage but Donald casts Thunder while Goofy uses Tornado but the Ice Poes conjure icicles from under the trio who dodge and Sora attacks the Ice Poes with Strike Raid stunning them while Goofy uses Goofy Turbo to ride on his shield getting the Blue Rhapsodies while Donald casts Fire on the Water Cores but the Octoroks fire more rocks to attack but Goofy blocks with his shield and throws his shield while Donald casts Blizzard while Sora attacks the Octoroks with Kingdom Key followed by Sonic Blade and dashes all over getting the enemies and they defeat all of the enemies.
"Magica can't be far! We have to stop her!" Donald said.
"Okay, sure, but WHERE is she?" Sora asked.
"Still in the temple, I suspect. She must be going for the Sacred Chamber." Rutilia said.
"And where is it?" Goofy asked.
"Closer than you think." Rutilia said as she finds a small crystal. "Sora, use your weapon to destroy that crystal." Rutilia said.
"Sure thing, Princess." Sora said destroying the small crystal and most of the water thaws.
"In there, hurry!" Rutilia said going into the water and trio follow her.
The trio and Rutilia begin swimming through the water while dealing with Screwdivers and Octoroks and keep swimming and they find a tunnel and swim through the tunnel while finding two different sides and so Rutilia goes for the right and so the trio follow her to the right and then Rutilia swims for the left and they follow for the left and then Rutilia goes for the right again and then for the other right and then for the center and they reach the end of the tunnel and keep swimming through the grotto's waters and they later find a hole and get out of the water and arrive at a different part of the grotto and find more ice mist as well as frozen water and they find an ice wall blocking a door and so Sora casts Fire to destroy the ice wall and open the door taking them to a different room.
(Zora Temple-Sacred Chamber)
The trio and Rutilia arrive at the Sacred Chamber with all the water frozen while water from statues are also frozen and they find Magica with another Ice Crystal.
"Magica!" Donald yelled taking out his staff.
"You managed to survive my attack on Lanayru Bridge and you're very persistent to follow me all the way here. You're still too late, for my Ice Crystal is the very source of my freeze curse! I will not allow you to disrupt the chaos I am working to achieve!" Magica said.
"You haven't learned anything! I beat you before and I'll do it again!" Donald yelled.
"And we're gonna help!" Sora said.
"Hehehehe, very well then. Prepare to meet your doom, for this temple shall be your tomb!" Magica said.

Magica conjures purple fireballs and throws them at the trio who dodge and Sora attacks Magica with Kingdom Key followed by two horizontal slashes and then uses Blitz while Donald casts Thunder while Goofy uses Goofy Bash and throws his shield but Magica disappears and reappears and fires more purple fireballs and throws them but the trio dodge but Magica conjures a spell to summon green shock waves to do damage to the trio but Donald casts Cure and then casts Blizzard only for Magica to cast her own Blizzard spell and their ice spells clash creating ice mist and then Magica conjures three purple lightning bolts to try and get Donald but Goofy qucikly uses Tornado to get the duck witch away while Sora aerial slashes to get Magica who disappears again and then reappears and conjures a spell to unleash three green magical pillars to get the tro who dodge and Sora casts Thunder while Donald casts Fire only for Magica to counter with her giant purple fireball creating smoke and then Magica conjures more green magical shock waves but Goofy throws his shield to knock Magica back a bit allowing Donald to cast Aero to send Magica flying and then Sora aerial slashes with Kingdom Key followed by two aerial somersault slashes only for Magica to conjure a magic blast spell to knock the trio back and then summons purple lightning bolts to get the group and then conjures green magical pillars but Sora uses Strike Raid and throws his Keyblade at Magica while Goofy uses Goofy Turbo to ride his shield and attack Magica who disappears and reappears and creates a spell to trap both Sora and Goofy in purple cubes.
As Magica begins catsing her spell to try and crush Sora and Goofyin the cubes Donald quickly casts Blizzard and then Fire at Magica making the cubes disappear and Sora slide dashes and delivers three attacks with Kingdom Key followed by a blade stand kick while Goofy bashes with his shield but Magica casts a barrier to repel the attacks and then conjures three ice beams to try and freeze the trio who dodge the ice beams and Donald casts Thunder while Goofy uses Tornado but Magica conjures more magical pillars and then unleashes purple fireballs only for Sora to cast Blizzard to counter the purple fireballs and then delivers vertical slashes with Kingdom Key followed by a spin slash while Donald casts Fire but Magica summons purple lightning bolts to get the trio only for Goofy to use Charge while Sora attacks with Kingdom Key followed by Blitz while Donald casts Aero but Magica makes a magic blast to send the trio back and then conjures a giant purple fireball and throws it at the trio but Sora attacks the giant fireball back at Magica who sends it back but Donald sends the fireball right back at Magica allowing Sora to deliver diagonal slashes with Kingdom Key followed by two horizontal slashes while Goofy uses Tornado but Magica disappears and reappears and conjures purple magic bolts and sends them at the trio and then conjures green magical pillars to strike but Sora casts Thunder while Donald casts Fire while Goofy uses Charge but Magica unleashes purple lightning bolts and then unleashes ice beams to try and freeze the trio but Goofy bashes with his shield while Donald casts Fire while Sora delivers three attacks with Kingdom Key followed by a blade stand kick and after enough attacks Magica is knocked back.
"Enough games, Magica!" Donald yelled.
"Bah! I've wasted enough time on you already. You haven't won this battle, fools! Remember this, once the Triforce is ours, you shall all bow down to the might of the Grimm!" Magica said as she disappears.
"She's gone." Goofy said.
"Never mind her. There's still that Ice Crystal." Sora said as he begins destroying the Ice Crystal and it's destroyed and all the ice starts melting while the water thaws.
The entire temple is no longer covered in ice as all the water is unfrozen and all the ice in the Sacred Chamber is gone.
"We did it! I'll bet Zora's Domain and Lake Hylia are unfrozen too." Goofy said.
"Yep." Sora said and Rutilia approaches the trio.
"Ahem! I'll have you know I had the situation under control and I would have handled it ALONE." Rutilia said.
"Hey, how about..." Donald was cut off.
"We were just tryin' to help." Goofy said.
"Yeah, there's nothing wrong with getting help from your friends or in this case, boydguards." Sora said grinning.
"Hmph. Yes, well, you did help me so I suppose I should thank you." Rutilia said.
"You're welcome." Donald said.
"You may have permission to escort me back to Zora's Domain and my father." Rutilia said.
"Yes, Princess!" Sora, Donald, and Goofy said saluting.
The trio and Rutilia leave Zora Temple and return to Zora Fountain and they later return to Zora's Domain where they find King Doripon who is still sitting on his throne and the trio return.
"You have returned! Thank you for freeing us from this wretched curse." Doripon said.
"Don't mention it. Also, we found someone." Sora said and Rutilia arrives.
"Hello, Father." Rutilia said.
"Rutilia! You are safe!" Doripon said.
"Yes, thanks to them." Rutilia said.
"Name your reward, kind heroes." Doripon said.
"Well, we came to ask about Princess Zelda, but, you said she's not here." Sora said.
"I am sorry. I wish I could provide some assistance." Doripon said.
"Guess we'll have to head back to Hyrule Castle and tell the others." Donald said.
"Wait, before you go...take this as gratitude." Rutilia said giving Sora a spell.
(Learned: Water)
"Thanks, Princess Rutilia!" Sora said.
"You are more than welcome to return here anytime, brave ones. I wish you the best of luck on your search for the Princess." Doripon said.
"And you better find her soon." Rutilia said.
"We will. Bye!" Sora said as the trio leave Zora's Domain.
Sora, Donald, and Goofy move through Lake Hylia to make their way back to Hyrule Castle.
"So, Princess Zelda wasn't at Zora Domain. Not even at Zora Temple." Goofy said.
"Where could she be?" Donald asked.
"I dunno. Hopefully, Link, Impa, Riku, and the King have better luck." Sora said.
As the trio keep moving Donald stops.
"What's the matter?" Goofy asked.
"This still bugs me. Why is Magica still around? The King and I made sure she was banished." Donald said.
"Yeah, but so was Pete and he got out." Sora said.
"Hmm, now that you mention it, she also mentioned about wantin' the Triforce, but she also said she ain't in cahoots with Maleficent." Goofy said.
"No, but she's with some group called the 'Grimm', whatever that is." Sora said.
"They almost sound like trouble like Organization XIII." Goofy said
"They sound like a group of bad guys." Donald said.
"Clearly, but nothin' we can't handle." Sora said.
"Don't take Magica lightly, Sora. She may not look it, but her magic is no joke. She's actually on my level of magic. She's not as powerful as Maleficent, but still." Donald said.
"Yeah, but in case you forgot, we beat Maleficent before, so Magica isn't any different. Look, let's head back to the castle and we'll figure out what to do." Sora said.
"Yeah, I sure hope Zelda's okay." Goofy said as they continue moving through Lake Hylia.
At the wasteland Magica is flying through the dark skies on her broomstick and later finds Zeke Midas Wolf, and Ridley.
"About time you showed up, witch!" Ridley said.
"Watch your tongue or I'll silence you! I hope you have caused chaos on your end." Magica said.
"Kakariko Village was burning well to the ground and the Gorons were captured, but were saved by that meddlesome King Mickey and one of those Keybearers." Zeke said.
"Bah, no matter. The kingdom should already know the Grimm's might." Magica said and looks around. "I don't see Kutaka or Seredar." Magica said.
"They're late!" Ridley said.
"But we're here." A voice said and they see Kutaka and Seredar arriving as well as a shadow figure.
"Finally, what kept you?" Zeke asked.
"Sorry, we were on our back, but someone wanted to...help us." Seredar said.
"Who?" Magica asked.
"Come on out, boy." Kutaka said and someone comes from the shadows revealing to be Ralo.
"What is this? You brought a child?!" Ridley asked.
"Not just a child, this boy wants to join our cause." Kutaka said.
"His name is Ralo and I think he could be useful to us." Seredar said.
"I couldn't help, but hear of what you're doing to Hyrule and I think this kingdom needs a lesson that there's no such thing as a hero, because a...former friend of mine is too busy playing one." Ralo said.
"But you're still a child! There's no way the Leader..." Ridley was cut off.
"Then, the Grimm welcomes you in open arms, Ralo." The first shadow figure said. "As for the rest of you, you have done well. You have spread as much chaos in Hyrule as possible and now, the time has come to take what's rightfully ours!" The first shadow figure stepping out of the shadows revealing to be a male wolf wizard with a grey beard and wearing a black, purple, blue, and red hooded robe with a green amulet around his neck and black boots.
"Yes, the Triforce!" Magica said.
"Finally!" Ridley said.
"Where do we start, boss?" Zeke asked.
"Our first Triforce piece will be the the one once wielded by the King of Evil himself; the Triforce of Power! We shall strike Maleficent's fortress and take take it from her!" The wolf wizard said.
"Then let the raid commence!" Magica said.
"Maleficent's fortress is already swarmed with her own Heartless and army of monsters. She'll be expecting us." Ridley said.
"Her fortress is at the valley, close to my former home; the Gerduo Desert. We shall make preparations for our invasion!" Kutaka said.
"And we have our own Heartless and monsters at our disposal!" Zeke said.
"Even if they expect us, we have the advantage!" Seredar said.
"Come, comrades! Claim the Triforce, for the Grimm!" The wolf wizard said.
"For the Grimm!" Magica, Zeke, Ridley, Kutaka, Seredar, and Ralo said.
Surprise! New chapter for you! Sorry if this chapter wasn't still as big, but I hope this was worth the wait. Well, we're finally finished with the three part search of the heroes defending parts of Hyrule, now it's coming to the big part of the beginning's end, so I hope you're looking forward to what comes up next. Anyway, hope you're still enjoying this story so far. Next time, Sora, Riku, Link, Mickey, Donald, Goofy, Impa, and Roberta meet with each other and they plot to take out Maleficent and storm her fortress.
