Welcome back readers! This is the seventh chapter of Yu-Gi-Oh! ARC-V: Territory of the Shark! As you can see on title, this chapter is about Yuya final qualification duel! FYI, Yuya will have his manga dragons, all of them! And Yuto won't be absorbed by Yuya. Also, Shark will get his Numbers back, Along with Overhundred Numbers! Anyway, let's enjoy the show!

After two hours walking with injuries he got from duel with Shun, Shark finally came back to Yu Show.
"I'm back." Shark said as everyone were shock to see him in such state. Yuzu was the first one to talk.
"Shark! What happened to you ?!" Yuzu asked in worried.
"An Xyz duelist attacked me while I was on my way back to Yu Show. He forced me to duel but unfortunately for him, he picked a wrong opponent." Shark explained.
"Could that be that assault duelist ?" Yuzu wondered as Shark raised his eyebrows.
"What do you mean ?"
"At school, Sawatari told us that several LDS lecturer was attacked by a man who use Xyz Summon. Maybe it's the same person who attack Sawatari and you." Yuzu explained.
"Actually, it was a friend of that Yuya looked alike. Although he's more brutal than him." Shark said as everyone nodded.
"Anyway." Yuya was now the one to talk. "Can everyone leave for a moment please ? I need to talk with Shark privately."
Everyone getting slightly suspicious, but still accepted Yuya's request. "Okay." Then everyone leave the main room and closed the door.
"What's on your mind, Yuya ?" Shark asked. But, instead of answer, Yuya clasped his hand and closed his eyes.
"Shark! Please teach me all Extra Deck Summoning!"
Shark widened his eyes at this. "Why you want to learn all Extra Deck Summoning ?" He asked him.
"Even though I win againts that LDS student Hokuto Shijima, I couldn't help but feel helpless when I saw your duel with Akaba Reiji. Also, your words last night make me realized that I must become stronger to become the best Pendulum User in this world!" Yuya answered with strong determination.
Shark formed a smile on his face. "I see.. very well Yuya, I'll gladly teach you."
Hearing his words, Yuya put a big smile on his face as he bowed to him repeatedly.
"Thank you! Thank you Shark! I'm sure to repay this one day!" Yuya replied. "Also, can you keep this a secret ? I want this to be a surprise."
"Okay then. Since it's already late, the training will start tomorrow." He told him as he nodded. "Also, I want you take this." Then Shark give Yuya the cards that he get at the shop as Yuya widened his eyes.
"Shark.. you sure ?"
"Yes, That's for letting me stay in your house." Shark answered as Yuya couldn't help but smile on the gift.
"Thank you again Shark.."
After that, everything back to normal.
The following days
Three days has passed as Yuya and Shark were training at abandoned warehouse near Pier. Even Yuya knew a basics of Extra Deck Summoning, considering his Deck that doesn't have Tuner Monsters and lack of Fusion and Xyz support make it more hard to teach him. So he decided to rearranged Yuya's Deck a bit to put some Tuner Monsters, Polymerization, hand trap and some new Pendulum Monsters to help him to Fusion, Synchro or Xyz Summon more quickly.
In the same three days, Yuya must Duels againts Michio Mokota and Eita Kyuando to qualify the Maiami Championship. Fortunately, he win all the duels.
Shark received message from Sora to come at the docks, right next to the warehouse where Shark and Yuto clashed. Feeling curious and confuse, he come to the meeting point and saw Yuzu and Sora at the same time.
"Hi Shark." The two greeted him.
"Hi. Why did you need me here ?" Shark asked.
"You see. After the whole incident with LDS, Yuzu asked me to teach her Fusion Summoning. She wants to test everything he learn about Fusion Summon so far on you. That's why I ask you to came here." Sora explained.
Shark widened his eyes a bit. "So you want me to duel you ?"
"Yes. I need one of the Strongest Duelist I know to help me in this task. You were the one I was thinking about first and I don't anyone know about this until the Maiami Championship. I want to keep this a surprise." Yuzu answered.
"Ok then. But don't think I will hold back to you." Shark said with a small smile on his face.
"I hope that will be happen." Yuzu nodded in understanding.
As the two prepared their Duel Disks, Sora put himself on the corner while the two Duelist shouted at the same time.
DUEL!

"You can go first." Shark offered.
"Well thank you Shark. My turn!" Yuzu said as she draw her starter cards. "I activated a Spell, First Movement Solo! When I control no monsters, I can Special Summon 1 level 4 or Lower "Melodious" Monster from my deck. But I can't Special Summon another Monster except "Melodious" Monster. Come! Opera the Melodious Diva!" Then Opera the Melodious Diva appeared on the field.
Opera the Melodious Diva ( ATK 2300/DEF 1000, Fairy/Light/LV: 4 )
"Opera cannot attack in turn he Normal or Special Summoned. Since it's first turn, it wont matters." Yuzu told him. "And since I control a "Melodious" Monster on my field, I can Special Summon this monster. Come! Canon the Melodious Diva!" Then Canon the Melodious Diva appeared on the field.
Canon the Melodious Diva ( ATK 1400/DEF 2000, Fairy/Light/LV: 4 )
"Next I tribute both Opera and Canon to Tribute Summon my Ace!" Yuzu declared as she started to chant. "Enchanting melody echoing in heaven! Awaken the sleeping virtuoso! Appear! Level 8! Mozarta the Melodious Maestra!" Then Yuzu's ace monster appeared on the field.
Mozarta the Melodious Maestra ( ATK 2600/DEF 2000, Fairy/Light/LV: 8 )
"Mozarta's effect! Once per turn, I can Special Summon one level 4 or lower "Melodious" Monster from my hand! Come to the field, Aria the Melodious Diva!" Then Aria the Melodious Diva appeared on the field.
Aria the Melodious Diva ( ATK 1600/DEF 1200, Fairy/Light/LV: 4 )
"When Aria is Special Summoned, All "Melodious" Monsters I control cannot be targeted by card effect and cannot be destroyed by battle!" Yuzu declared. "And with that I end my turn."

'Bringing your ace on the first turn and prevent your monster to be targeted by card effect or destroyed by battle. Not bad Yuzu.' Sora noted.
"Then it's my turn!" Shark said as he draw.

"I summon White Moray!" Then White Moray appeared on the field.
White Moray ( ATK 600/DEF 200, Fish/Water/LV: 2 )
"That's no match compared to my Mozarta or Aria." Yuzu stated.
"True. But I didn't say I was going to attack your Diva." Shark told him. "During the turn I Normal Summoned White Moray, it can attack my opponent directly. Battle! White Moray attack Yuzu directly!" Shark command as White Moray swim under Yuzu's Monsters before delivering a strike to her.

"I set two cards facedown and end my turn." Shark concluded.

'Shark took a little of her lifepoints in his first turn.. however, can he stopped Yuzu's Monsters on her next turn ?" Sora though.
"My turn! Draw!" Yuzu declared as she draw.

"I activated a Spell, Pot of Greed! I draw two cards from my deck!" Yuzu declared as she draw two more cards. She looked at the card before she smile.

"Now it's time! I activated Polymerization!" Yuzu said as Shark and Sora raised their eyebrows.
'Let's see if it worked..'
"I fuse Mozarta on my field and second copy of Canon from my hand! Echanting melody! Blooming melody! With guidance of the baton, gather your power! Fusion Summon! Come to the stage! Level 6! Schuberta the Melodious Maestra!" Then Yuzu's new Fusion Monster appeared on the field.

"Yes! It worked!" Yuzu yelled and jumping in enthusiasm.
"Well done Yuzu." Shark commented with a smile on his face.
"You finally did it." Sora said in same expression.
"Thanks." Yuzu said.
"Now let's see what your Fusion Monster is capable of." Shark proposed to her as she nodded.
"You bet! Schuberta's effect! Once per turn, I can banish up to three cards from either graveyard and Schuberta gains 200 ATK for each banished cards until the end of this turn! I banish Canon, Opera and Polymerization, meaning Schuberta gains 600 ATK! Chorus Break!"

"And then I activated a Spell, Monster Reborn! I Special Summon a Monster from either graveyard! Come back to the field, Mozarta!" Then Mozarta back to the field once again.
Mozarta the Melodious Maestra ( ATK 2600/DEF 2000, Fairy/Light/LV: 8 )
"Battle! Aria attack White Moray!" Yuzu declared as Aria unleashed a shockwave from her voice towards White Moray.
"Trap card open! Defense Draw! I can reduce battle damage to 0 and draw one card." Shark countered as rainbow barrier protect Shark from shockwave as White Moray is destroyed.
"Schuberta attack Shark directly! Wave of the great!" Schuberta unleashed a stream of notes from her baton, making Shark covered his ears.

"Mozarta attack Shark directly and end this duel!" Yuzu command as Mozarta released a powerful shockwave towards Shark.
"Trap card open! Counter Gate! I negate your attack and I can draw one card. However, if the card I draw is Monster card, I can Special Summoned it immeditely. I draw!" Shark declared as he draw. He looked at the card before smirked.
"The card I drew is Hammer Shark, so I can Special Summoned it!" Then Hammer Shark appeared on the field.
Hammer Shark ( ATK 1700/DEF 1500, Fish/Water/LV: 4 )
"Lucky. I end my turn." Yuzu pouted.

"Then it's my turn!" Shark declared as he draw.

"I'm afraid I will end this Yuzu. I activated a Spell, White Mirror! I can target one WATER Monster on my graveyard and Special Summoned it in attack position. Come back, White Moray!" Then White Moray appeared on the field once again.
White Moray ( ATK 600/DEF 200, Fish/Water/LV: 2 )
"When White Moray is Special Summoned from the graveyard, it treated as Tuner this turn." Shark declared.
"You gonna Synchro Summon ?" Yuzu asked.
"Yup. I'm tuning my level 2 White Moray and Level 4 Hammer Shark! The purest dolphin slumbering in the abyss! Awaken in the deep between life and death! Synchro Summon! Appear! Level 6! White Aura Dolphin!"
White Aura Dolphin ( ATK 2400/DEF 1000, Fish/Water/LV: 6 )
'No Xyz Summon huh ? This is interesting..' Sora though.
"You're not gonna do Xyz Summon ?" Yuzu asked in slightly surprise.
"Nope. Not now." Shark told her. "Next I activated Monster Reborn! I Special Summon Monster from either Graveyard. I Summon back White Moray!" Then White Moray appeared on the field.
White Moray ( ATK 600/DEF 200, Fish/Water/LV: 2 )
"Remember White Moray's effect ? I hope you remember because now I'm tuning my Level 2 White Moray with Level 6 White Aura Dolphin! Great Whale slumbering in the abyss! Awaken in the deep between life and death! Synchro Summon! Appear! Level 8! White Aura Whale!"
White Aura Whale ( ATK 2800/DEF 2000, Fish/Water/LV: 8 )
Yuzu and Sora stood in amazement when they see the monster appeared on the field.
"That thing's huge!" Yuzu said in surprise.
"No argument with that!" Sora added.
"When White Aura Whale is Synchro Summoned, It can destroy all Attack Position Monster your controls!" Shark declared as White Aura Whale wagged it's tail and smashed it into Yuzu's Monsters.
"My defense were destroyed so easily.." Yuzu said in disbelief.
"Then I Summon Double Fin Shark!" Then Double Fin Shark appeared on the field.
Double Fin Shark ( ATK 1000/DEF 1200, Fish/Water/LV: 4 )
"When Double Fin Shark is Normal Summoned, I can Special Summon one Level 3 or 4 WATER Fish Monster from my Graveyard in Defense Position! Come back, Hammer Shark!" Then Hammer Shark appeared on the field once again.
Hammer Shark ( ATK 1700/DEF 1500, Fish/Water/LV: 4 )
"I Overlay my level 4 Double Fin Shark and Hammer Shark! Appear! Come from the depth of Abyss, your fangs shall tear everything to shreds! Xyz Summon! Rank 4! Abyss Dweller!"
Abyss Dweller ( ATK 1700/DEF 1400, Sea Serpent/Water/RK: 4/OVU: 2 )
"While Abyss Dweller is Xyz summoned using a WATER monster, all WATER monster I controls gains 500 ATK until it has no overlay units." Shark said as White Aura Whale and Abyss Dweller surrounding by blue aura.

'This is definitely end for Yuzu..' Sora thought
"Battle! Abyss Dweller and White Aura Whale attack Yuzu directly!"
Abyss Dweller and White Aura Whale slapping Yuzu with their tail as the impact causing her to lose.

The hologram dissapeared as Shark walked and help Yuzu to get up back to her feet.
"Not bad, Yuzu. Your training was good. But, your Fusion Summoning skills still need some sharpening." Shark told her.
"Thanks." Yuzu said.
"He's right. Being able to Fusion Summon is a great but mastering it is awesome." Sora added.
Then, the face of Kotsu Masumi appeared behind a container, making the trio attention turned to her.
"Masumi ?" Yuzu addressed her.
"What are you doing here ?" Shark asked.
"You know what has been happening in Maiami City recently ?" Masumi asked them. "Several Duelists dissapearing by a mysterious Duelist. Also, all of them has connection with LDS. But, the information about the mysterious Duelist were limited. It is the only known is that Duelist use Xyz Summoning."
Yuzu and Sora was surprise while Shark narrowed his eyes.
"That's the only information I could find." Masumi said as she clenched her fists. "I learned that Professor Marco was missing, and.." Masumi then pointed at Shark. "You!"
"Me ?"
"I know it was you! I heard from Sawatari underlings that you Dueled him!" She exclaimed. "Please, can you tell me where he is ? If I caught him, I might be able to stop him!"
"I don't know, he can be anywhere. He target LDS, especially Fusion users. And maybe you're the next." Shark answered, but she doesn't believe it.
"Don't lie to me! Professor Marco might be suffering somewhere! It's because you let him get away!"
"I said I don't know!" Shark defended himself.
"Then I'll force the answer out of you!" Then she activated her duel disk. "I'll show you that LDS is the strongest!"
"You're LDS ?" A voice coming out from a container and revealed Kurosaki Shun in his cloak jumped out to Masumi while pushing Yuzu away, making her drop her cards as it scattered around the floor.
"If you're LDS.. Then your opponent will be me!" He said as he activated his duel disk while Shark and Sora helping Yuzu to get up again.
"Shun, stop this!"
Yuto jumped out from a container. He grabbed Shun's hand and restrain him before he doing anything else as he removed his mask. "I've already told you this isn't our battlefield Shun! This people doesn't know anything!"
"Everywhere I go is battlefield, Yuto! In order to get Ruri back, I must do this! If you dare stand in my way then I'll go through on you as well!" He yelled as he removed his scarf and glasses. However, Yuto punched him in the guts, totally stopping him.
"Damn you.." Shun uttered before passing out as Yuto catching him before he fell to the ground.
"I found the culprit!" Masumi said on her D-Pad. "Send Hokuto and Yaiba quickly!"
"I'm sorry for Shun's stubbornness again." Yuto apologized as he picked up Yuzu's Polymerization card. "This card doesn't suit you." Yuto told her.
"What do you mean ?" Yuzu asked in confusion.
"You can't understand how much malevolence in this card." He answered.
"I don't like it when people trashtalk my favorite card." Sora said before he smirked. "How about I show you the true power of this card ?"
The situation got worse until..
"Yuzu!"
"Masumi!"
Yuya, Yaiba and Hokuto were far away calling their respective friends. At the same time, Yuzu's bracelet shone very brigthly, making everyone covered their eyes. As the light vanished, Yuto and Shun were dissapear.
"He dissapeared.." Yuzu uttered in disbelief.
"Why are they scattered like that ?" Yuya wondered to himself as he picked up Yuzu's card and handed them to her, who just looked with a motionless expression.
"I suggest we should go before they interrogated us." Sora said as he pointed at LDS vehicles.
The Yu Show gang nodded before they ran until they were out of sight.
Next Day
This day Yuya was Dueling againts the girl named Mieru Hochun. He won the duel and he even perform Fusion Summon againts her which making the Yu Show gang surprise. Mieru 'Fallen in love by fate' attitude really pissed Shark off. He even use 'Shark Drake' mode to scare her off while Yuya and Yuzu inwardly thanked him for that. After the Yu Show gang leaving the arena, they congratulated Yuya for his third win.
"Good job Yuya." Shark praised him as everyone starting to do the same.
"That Rune-Eyes Pendulum Dragon gave me shivers!" Futoshi exclaimed.
"From Pendulum to Fusion Summon! You're amazing Yuya!" Sora praised him.
"Thank you everyone." Yuya said as they walked back to their respective home.
Next Day
"Morning Yuya." Shark greeted him as he making a Pancake for him.
"Morning Shark." He replied. "Where's my mother ?"
"Don't know. She was already not here when I woke up." Shark lied to him. "So is your last qualification today ?"
"Yeah. But my mom isn't here." Yuya answered.
"How about heading towards Yu Show ? She might be there." Shark suggested as he nodded and after breakfast, they went to Yu Show.
After they arrived, nobody was there. Shark who know the reason faking tried to searching the others. Eventually, Nico Smiley showed himself and dragged both of them to Gongenzaka Dojo.
"I'm tired waiting for you Yuya!" Gongenzaka exclaimed with a firm tone.
"Why did you go out the way to make me duel Gongenzaka ? We already had tons of duel." Yuya asked the manager.
"It's true that you dueled him many times.. but you never had a real match with him." Nico answered as Yuya slightly gasped at his answer.
"I'm also aware that he is your best friend. Especially since your father, Sakaki Yusho dissapeared during his Championship match. Gongenzaka was the one who protect you from the cruel public. I was touched by that beautiful friendship!" Nico said, lashing loud of comical tears.
"Nico is right Yuya!" Gongenzaka added. "You and I have fought countless times before. But there wasn't any seriousness in those matches! And I realized that's only made me weaker!"
"Weaker.. ?" Yuya repeated.
"It's my fault that I couldn't win that match againts LDS. If Shark lose the last Duel, I, the man Gongenzaka, would never forgive myself."
"But you ended it with a draw!" Yuya argued.
"I couldn't win because of this weakness in my heart! Being unable to break away my own weakness is the reason I draw againts Yaiba! I must push myself further if I want to get rid of this weakness!" Gongenzaka declared proudly.
After the conversation, Nico Smiley dragged them to Gongenzaka Dojo. After little speech from Gongenzaka's father, Nico Smiley escorted Shark somewhere, saying to Yuya that he must duel without the cheers from everyone. Then Nico and Shark was arrived in secret room where Yu Show gang watched.
"I'll leave you here, Reginald-kun. Make yourself comfortable." He said before returning to the Arena.
Then Shark opened the door to the secret room. "Hi, everyone." He greeted as he entered the room.
"Shark nii-chan!" The kids jumped to hug him, making him fall.
"I'm here, you three." He said as he returned the hug.
"Glad you make it." Sora commented.
"Yeah. Now, let's see the duel." Shark said as he though. 'Let's see the result of your training..'
Duel Arena
"I, the man Gongenzaka, will win this duel Yuya!" Gongenzaka declared with a firm tone.
"I was planning to do the same Gongenzaka!" Yuya replied.
Then the two Duelist shout at the same time.

"I'll take the first turn!" Gongenzaka said as he draw his starter card.
"I Summon Superheavy Samurai Kageboshi!" Then Superheavy Kageboshi appeared on the field.
Superheavy Samurai Kageboshi ( ATK 500/DEF 1000, Machine/Earth/LV: 3 )
"I activated Kageboshi effect! I can tributed Kageboshi to Special Summon a "Superheavy Samurai" Monster from my hand! I Summon Superheavy Samurai Big Benkei in defense mode!" Then Superheavy Samurai Big Benkei appeared on the field.
Superheavy Samurai Big Benkei ( ATK 1000/DEF 3500, Machine/Earth/LV: 8 )
"With that, I end my turn. Now face me with your fullpower Yuya!" Gongenzaka concluded.

The kids looked surprise when they saw Big Benkei on the field.
"He summoned his ace Monster right on the first turn ?" Tatsuya commented.
"Seems he wanting to defeat Yuya." Sora said as he licked his lollipop, before he smiled. "Gong-chan's really serious rightnow!"
"I said." Shark added. "He want to defeat Yuya so badly."
"Man, I don't know who I should cheer, Yuya or Gongenzaka! I can't decided!" Shuzo yelled, only to get smacked by Yuzu's paper fan.
"You're too loud dad! What will you do if Yuya hear us ?!"
"That's right! Nico told us to be quiet!" Ayu added.
"Sorry." Shuzo apologized.
Yuya looked at Gongenzaka before he take his first turn. "As you wish, Gongenzaka! My turn! Draw!" Yuya declared as he draw.

"I Summon Performapal Sword Fish!" Then Performapal Swordfish appeared on the field.
Performapal Sword Fish ( ATK 600/DEF 600, Fish/Water/LV: 2 )
"When Performapal Sword Fish is Summoned, all my opponent monster's lose 600 ATK and DEF!" Then Sword Fish made a copy of itself and charge to Big Benkei.
Superheavy Samurai Big Benkei ( DEF 3500 - DEF 2900 )
"Now Gongenzaka, the fun starts now! With the scale 1 Odd-Eyes Persona Dragon and Scale 8 Odd-Eyes Mirage Dragon I set the Pendulum Scale!" Yuya said as Persona Dragon and Mirage Dragon being surrounded in pillars of light as they rise up and large version of Yuya's pendant appeares between them.

Odd-Eyes Mirage Dragon ( ATK 1200/DEF 600, Dragon/Dark/LV: 3/PS: 8 )
"With this I can Summon Monsters with levels beetwen 2 and 7 at the same time! Swing! Pendulum of my soul! Draw an arclight across the aether! Pendulum Summon! Come forth, my Monsters!" Yuya chanted as a portal appears overhead and two lights burst out.
"Appear! Performapal Handsamuraiger!" The Samurai appear on the field.
Performapal Handsamuraiger ( ATK 1800/DEF 400, Beast-Warrior/Earth/LV: 4 )
"And my new dragon! The eerie dragon with dichromatic eyes, Odd-Eyes Phantom Dragon!" Then gray version of Yuya's ace appear on the field.
Odd-Eyes Phantom Dragon ( ATK 2500/DEF 2000, Dragon/Dark/LV: 7/PS: 4 )
"Yuya nii-chan got a cool new dragon!" Ayu said happily.
"Yuya nii-chan getting serious rightnow!" Tatsuya added.
"The shivers!" Futoshi said.
"Since I Special Summoned Monsters, Sword Fish's effect activates again! Your Monsters lose 600 ATK and DEF again!" Once again, Sword Fish made a copy of itself and charge at Big Benkei.
Superheavy Samurai Big Benkei ( DEF 2900 - DEF 2300 )
Then Yuya found an action card a grabbed it before he use it. "Action Magic! Piercing Sword! All Monsters I control can inflict piercing damage when attacking Defense Position Monster!" Then Odd-Eyes and Handsamuraiger surrounding by red aura.
"Battle! Odd-Eyes Phantom Dragon attack Big Benkei! Spiral Strike of Fantasy!" Then Odd-Eyes Phantom unleashed a spiral energy towards Big Benkei.
"I activated Superheavy Samurai Soul Fire Armor on my hand! By sending this card to graveyard, Big Benkei loses 800 DEF but it cannot be destroyed by battle or card effect!" Then a fire blocked Odd-Eyes Spiral energy.
Superheavy Samurai Big Benkei ( DEF 2300 - DEF 1500 )

Shark smile as everyone turned to him suspiciously.
"You knew about this ?" Sora asked.
"Maybe. Don't know." Shark answered nonchalantly.

"You're getting ahead of yourself father, this duel has just begun! And I haven't use my full strenght yet!" Gongenzaka declared as Yuya and the others narrowed their eyes as they wondered what exactly he meant by that.

Everyone was surprise when he heard what Gongenzaka had said while Yuya widened his eyes.
"Tuner ?!" Yuzu said in surprise.
"Is Gong-Chan really gonna do-?!" Sora said in surprise as he forgot his lollipop.
"Synchro Summon ?" Shuzo finished the sentence as the kids were surprised as well.
"No way!"
"This sure is interesting." Shark commented.
"I'm Tuning my level 2 Superheavy Trumpeter and level 8 Superheavy Samurai Big Benkei! Raging deity! In unison with the soul of a thousand blades! Come forth in spiralling wave! Synchro Summon! Come before us! Level 10! Superheavy Samurai Warlord Susanowo!"

"Gongenzaka Synchro Summoned.." Yuya muttered in surprise.
"Impressive.." Sora muttered.
"He really did it.." Yuzu muttered in shock before she looked at Yuya. "Yuya.."
"Oh my!" Nico said with smile on his face.
"Impressive!" Shark said with satisfied smile on his face. 'I hope you ready Yuya.'
"Get ready Yuya! Because the real match has only just begun!" Gongenzaka declared. However, Mr. Gongenzaka interupped the duel.
"That's enough! My son has lost this match!"
Everyone was shocked when he said that. Then he stood up and looked at Gongenzaka with a stern expression. "Steadfast Dueling means that having an immovable spirit is crucial. From the moment you stole techniques from another school to win, you already lost this duel!"
"I'm not steal them. I, the man Gongenzaka, asked requested for instruction!" Gongenzaka replied as his father's eyes widened in surprise.
Yuya looked at Gongenzaka with lowered eyes. "Instruction ? You don't mean.. ?"
Gongenzaka nodded. "Yeah. Todo Yaiba. I don't mean to request instruction from even my enemies. It's normal, I didn't learn Synchro Summoning in order to just win, but also to bring a new horizon to Steadfast Dueling!"
"In order to bring forth a new Steadfast Dueling.. ?" Mr. Gongenzaka asked in confusion.
"It is a necessity for even the stationary Steadfast Dueling in order to not let get behind along with a new era!" Gongenzaka answered.
"Save your judgement after this match father! Battle! Susanowo attack Sword Fish! Kusanagi sword slash!" Susanowo raised his blade and swung it, sending a slash energy towards Sword Fish as it destroyed and the shockwave sent him flying before he landed on the floor.
"Yuya!" Everyone except Shark yelled in worried.

After he got up, he activated his trap. "Trap card open! Performapal Emergency Draw! When "Performapal" Monsters I control is destroyed by battle or card effect, I can draw two cards!" Yuya said as he draw two more cards.
"I end my turn." Gongenzaka concluded.

"Is Yuya nii-chan gonna lose ?" Ayu said sadly as she hugged Yuzu.
"Maybe, with 3800 DEF, it will difficult to take out Susanowo." Tatsuya added.
"True. But Yuya has more surprise than that." Shark said, didn't looked worried as everyone narrowed their eyes from hearing that.
"What do you mean ?" Sora asked.
"You'll see." He simply answered.
"It's my turn!" Yuya said as he draw. He looked at the card he drew.

'Seems I didn't have any choice.' He thought before he started his turn.
"Well Gongenzaka, since you showed me Synchro Summoning, how about I return the favor ?" Yuya said with a smile on his face.
"What ?" Gongenzaka tilted his head in confusion.
"First, I Pendulum Summoned again! Swing! Pendulum of my soul! Draw an arclight across the aether! Pendulum Summon! Come, my Monsters!" Yuya chanted as a portal appears overhead and a light burst forth!"
"Appear! The Tuner Monster, Performapal Odd-Eyes Synchron!" Performapal Odd-Eyes Synchron appeared on the field.

"What ?!" Gongenzaka exclaimed in shock.
Everyone was shocked as well except Shark who just smiling.
"Tuner ?! Does that mean Yuya knows how to.." Yuzu said in speechless.
"Synchro Summon.." Sora finished Yuzu sentence.
"Now for Performapal Odd-Eyes Synchron's effect! I can use Monsters at my Pendulum Zone for Synchro Material! I'm Tuning my level 2 Performapal Odd-Eyes Synchron and level 5 Odd-Eyes Persona Dragon in my Pendulum Zone! Shining wings! Deliver divine speed and illuminate heaven and earth! Synchro Summon! Come forth! Level 7! Clearwing Fast Dragon!"

Everyone except Shark was stood in awe when they see Clearwing Fast Dragon.
"A Synchro Summon using Monster in Pendulum Zone ?!" Sora exclaimed in shock.
"But it's only have 2500 ATK." Yuzu commented. "I wonder what Yuya has in mind."
"I admit that dragon is impressive Yuya." Gongenzaka commented. "But it's attack is not enough againts Susanowo defense."
"Don't worry, I got this. I Summon Performapal Celestial Magician!" The Magician appeared on the field.

"I activated Clearwing Fast Dragon's effect! Once per turn, I can target one Monster on my opponent field and make it's ATK and DEF become 0 also negated it's effect! Draining Wind!" Clearwing make a powerful wind and charge it towards Susanowo.
"I acti-" Gongenzaka tried to activated his Monster effect but he can't.
"Sorry Gongenzaka. Celestial Magician's effect doesn't let you activated Monster effects when I control a Synchro Monster on my field!" Yuya declared.
"What ?!" Gongenzaka said in surprise before he closed his eyes. "I'm not going to win this duel. But Yuya! I want you to come at me with your attack!"
Yuya just smile. "As you wish, battle! Odd-Eyes Phantom Dragon attack Susanowo! Spiral Strike of Fantasy!" Odd-Eyes Phantom unleashed a spiral energy towards Big Benkei.
"Clearwing attack Gongenzaka and end this duel!" Gongenzaka opened his arms and welcomes the charge. He then flies straight to the ground.

As the solid vision vanished, everyone from secret room approached him.
"Yuya nii-chan!" The kids exclaimed as they jumped to hug him.
"That was really hot blooded Duel Yuya!" Shuzo exclaimed with his usual overexited tone.
"To think you use Monster on Pendulum Zone for Synchro Summon." Sora added while licking his lollipop.
"Well done Yuya." Shark said.
"Congratulation Yuya!" Yuzu said with blush on her face.
"Thank you everyone." Yuya smiled as Gongenzaka approached him, both shook their hands as sign of sportsmanship.
LDS Office
"It seems Sakaki Yuya won his last qualification match for Maiami Championship sir." Nakajima told his boss.
"Good. Now all Duelists I had in my eyes are joined the Maiami Championship." Reiji said
"That's good sir. The incident regarding Kotsu Masumi, Shijima Hokuto and Todo Yaiba has also being taken care of." Nakajima informed.
"Have you erased their memories ?" Reiji asked.
"Yes, sir. Everything concerning Kurosaki Shun had been removed from their memories."
"Good work." Reiji praised. "Now the conditions for Kurosaki Shun's entry in the Maiami Championship are complete. Now we all can see what he truly capable of."
He examined the list of participans of the Championship until he stopped at Shark picture.
'Same goes for him. How powerful Reginald Kessler was ?' He thought.
"President, may I ask something ?"
"What is it ?" Reiji asked his employee.
"Are you sure about Kurosaki's request for the Maiami Championship ?" Nakajima asked as Reiji got a brief of flashback on his mind.
Flashback
"Entering Duel Tournament ?" Kurosaki Shun questioned Reiji who was standing with several member of LDS. "This is what I must do before Dueling you ?"
"That's right." Reiji confirmed. "We will be using this Tournament to recruit Strong Duelists to fight againts Akaba Leo."
"Akaba Leo ? You willing to fight your own father ?" Shun asked in disbelief.
"I'm no longer claim that man as my father." Reiji said as he adjusted his glasses. "To put it simply, we share common enemy. Also, one of the participants uses true Fusion Summoning while the other one use Xyz and Synchro Summoning."
'Xyz and Synchro ?' Shun thought. "Does that Xyz Duelist use WATER Attribute Monsters ?"
"Seems you talking about Reginald Kessler." Reiji stated. "Yes, you fought him few days ago."
Shun clenched his fist in anger, remembering his defeat againts Shark.
"While we 100% sure that Shiunin Sora is an Academia Spy, the origins about Reginald Kessler is unknown."
"Unknown ?" Shun asked in curious.
"Even his origins are unknown, when I Dueled him, I'm sure that he's not an enemy" Reiji explained, tried to lower Shun's suspicious.
"If that Reginald Kessler is not an enemy, I have an idea to prove that."
Reiji raised his eyebrows in curiousity. "Oh ?"
"Make him his Duel that Academia Spy. If he's not with them, he wouldn't mind Dueling againts each other. And if he's not with Academia, I'm fine againts any backstories he has." Shun explained.
Reiji was skeptical at first. But, he think that he has a point.
"Alright, I'm approving your idea. Reginald Kessler will face Shiunin Sora in Maiami Championship."

"I'm sure. To show Kurosaki that our Xyz Duelist is not an enemy, I must do this." Reiji replied.
"I understand." Nakajima said as he leaving the room.
'Even thought, we still don't know any backstories about Reginald Kessler.' Reiji thought. 'Where exactly did he come from ?'
Yuya's room
Shark still woke up to prepare his deck for Maiami Championship. It was 1 in the morning and he still busy with his deck.
'Can't sleep ?' Nasch said in his head.
"I'm busy to edit my deck." He replied. "I think I need to slightly changed it."
Nasch sighed. 'It was 1 in the morning. Beside, tomorrow was the first day of Maiami Championship. You should rest well.'
Shark shook his head. "I can't sleep before I'm done."
'I'll help you. But after this you must sleep.' Nasch said as Shark narrowed his eyes.
"Since when are you acting like my father?"
Nasch ignore his words as Shark Extra Deck glowing. Shark looked at his Extra Deck, only to get shocked when he checked it.
"Those are..!" He said as he saw all his "Numbers" monsters now have Number on it. Also among the cards he saw Number 101,102,103,104,105,106 and 107.
"Oh my.." Shark muttered as Nasch chuckled.
'I wish I had camera. His reaction was priceless.'
"My numbers is back!"
