Shutting down weapons might be a bad thing if you are a weapon company, but that went out the window after the press found out Obadiah was sent running away and somehow ended up in a tree. Much more worthy news.

Heads turned to the scream of Obadiah being chased by Jenny. Her barks loud and high pitch as she ran across the room. The Press moved out of the way.
"Jenny," Rhodey said. "Jenny!"
Jenny wasn't listening sending Obadiah running out of the room with Rhodey following because heaven forbid that dog got hit by a car.
"As I was saying Stark Industries will no longer be making weapons."
The Press started to protested only to have Tony to denial them walking away and whistling to get Jenny attention.
It worked because Jenny came back wagging her tail and holding a shoe that was no doubt Obadiah followed by Rhodey who stood at the door.
"Tones. Mr. Stane stuck in a tree."
It turned out nobody really cared about SI no longer making weapons because what landed on the front page, was Obadiah.

Of course, the military weren't too happy about the lack of weapons. They are the military after all. However, Tony reminded them that they tried to put Jenny in a net and wanted her put down because she won the battle between the army and Jenny. The Military would not talk to him for a year after that.
