(Sakura, Sasuke, and one other uchiha)
A black bird. From her five-year-old eyes that was a magnificent sight to behold. Her heart gave a little flip and she made a run towards it. Maybe It was impulse or maybe It was the bag of sweet candies she ate before that was finally taking effect. Her little feet for once ran where she wanted to without tripping.
Well, at least not every two steps or so.
Somehow in her little brain she thought she could catch the black bird that was evading her grasp. It kept flying low as if teasing her of her inability to catch it. Cawing at her face.
Head craning upwards she did not care about the people she walked past. Not noticing their dark hair and striking void eyes that could turn blood red. The only thing on her mind was that dark creature above her head that she couldn't quite reach.
As an outstretched arm awaited its claws, the majestic bird settled down. The person who the bird landed on looked familiar, but then she spotted the little boy that stood beside him.
"Sasuke!!" She ran and tackled the boy.
An irritated grunt of "hi Sakura" was all she got but she was more interested with the older boy who actually held the majestic creature. Sasuke seemed to notice her stare. In a boasting manner he told her that this was his nii-san, Itachi, and that he was the greatest In the world. Sakura didn't have a nii-san to compare him to so she just nodded along. Besides his nii-san wasn't where Sakura's attention was focused on.
Itachi-san chuckled and messed up Sasuke's hair.
Surprising her, he waved Sakura forward and brought the black bird down. Now that she was face to face with it, she could see it's deep black feathers and sharp claws. How it was larger than her palm and how she thought it silly that she believed she could have caught it with her bare hands.
At Sakura's astonishment, Sasuke's nii-san smiled. He told her how this black bird was really smart and it would never forget a face. He told her this one might even become her friend.
When she asked him what kind of bird it was, he answered,
"This is a Crow."
A/n : I made Sakura and Sasuke friends!! Well, she sort of met him once as baby toddlers and just clings to him now. Sasuke low-key likes his new best friend.
