As per usual in first class Team Amazon were enjoying t provided luxuries. Gwen was sitting separately from the others, Cody was trying to be calm while Rem sat on Cody's lap once more and Heather and Courtney sat in the booth at the front of first class, the queen bee was trying to cover up the bruise, courtesy of Leshawna along with a missing tooth.

"Lookin good." The CIT commented once Heather snapped her powder mirror shut.

The intercom sounded and Chris` voice rang out.

"Brace for landing, we`ve arrived in our next destination…The Amazon…..but the runaway`s a little short." Which in Chris talk meant they were going in for a bumpy ride. Courtney understanding that buckled herself up immediately.

"Team Amazon in the Amazon. That`s gotta be a lucky sign." Gwen commented.

Rem who had heard that spoke up and walked to gwen causing Cody to sigh in relief knowing nothing 'hard' happened to him.

"Be careful Gwen, usually when someone says that they get bad instead of good luck." She said quietly making an observation, making every eye snap to her and Gwen.

"Gosh I hope none of the Amazons this might be lucky for them. That`d be disastrous." The show host chimed in through the intercom laughing evilly afterwards.

….

The ride was as bumpy, and more than Chris warned it would be. The plane ended up crashing slightly.

After all the contestants were gathered Chris spoke.

"Welcome to Peru. Birthplace of the mighty Amazon River. This challenge is called the Am-AAAH-zon race. Teams must hike along an ancient Inka trail through the Peruvian jungle all the way to Machu Pichu. Hidden somewhere among the ruins of Machu Pichu a golden treasure awaits discovery. Find the treasure to win first class passage to our next destination. Last team to arrive to Machu Pichu will have to send someone out through the elimination door. And be warned, the jungle contains many vicious insects. Cody, the Legal Department made me well aware of your deadly allergies, but that was before we contacted you for this season, so you have a choice between an EpiPen or… This fedora and whip…."
Chris said Showing an EpiPen in his left arm and the fedora and whip in his right one.

"I choose the whip." Cody simply said as walked up to Chris and took the hat and whip and inspected them. The fedora was a grey color with a band of darker gray wrapped around it. The whip on the other hand was a genuine well made weapon strings of leather woven to make the handle. Cody strapped the whip to his hip and place the hat on his head.

"Whaddya think?" he asked Gwen with an Australian accent, making her giggle but still concerned that Cody didn't take the epipen.

"Also in the jungle are the Zing Zings, a native tribe who have never encountered modern man and they`re not about to so if you spot a Zing Zing do not make contact." Chris warned as dramatic drums played in the background.

"Will you stop that?!" he yelled to Chief who was making the music with a huge bongo drum.

The large cook crossed his arms, but when the host turned his back he silently swore.

"How far is it to Maki PItchet?" The big lovable goof asked.

"Machu Pichu is a hop, skip and a jump from here, plus eighteen hours." The host said making the teenagers groan.

"The jungle is too dangerous travel at night so tams will have to break at dusk and camp along the trail till sunrise." The host said motioning towards the trail.

"And I assume there are no tents?" Alejandro asked

"Correctumundo. Now because the playing area is so vast and dangerous, each team will have a walkie talkie in case of emergency. Teams I wish you good luck. Or at the very least a lack of Death." The host said with a sinister smirk.

…..

"Eeny, meeny Minnie, left?" Lindsay oh so wittly chose when the road parted.

DJ shrugged and the went the afformentioned direction.

"So what do ya think, left? Yeah left, left is good." Tyler said following after his girlfriend.

The Amazons on the other hand had a more difficult time deciding.

"Maybe we should go right?" Gwen suggested.

"No left. Even if it`s wrong, at least everyone is wrong. Safety in numbers." Courtney tried to bring logic to the decision.

"Let Gwen decide. She`s the one who`s feeling lucky." Heather said making air quotes.

"I said I was sorry." Gwen said only to be interrupted.

"If you are right you`re a hero, if you`re wrong we know who to eliminate." Heather said

"Your parents must love this show, gets you out of the house." Gwen said as she took the right path.

Heather gave her a cool mature response, a.k.a. a raspberry.

….

As they were trekking through the jungle Courtney asked Cody.

"Hey why did you choose the whip instead of the EpiPen?" Cody shrugged.

"One thing I learned from after the show.. I MEAN during the show is that it is better to be armed in case something happens." They were interrupted by a giant mosquito which had legs big enough to carry a human by the head. It started to swoop down ad carry off an innocent victim to its death when a whip split it in two.

"Like that for example." He said as he continued to trek forwards ignoring the awed looks he was receiving from his teammates.

Rem made sure nobody saw her spiked ball come out of her dress just in case.

About a couple of hours later Team Amazon were still trekking through the mountain path when suddenly Cody stopped making all the girls crash into him.

Before they made and protests to why they stopped Cody made the universal sign to be quiet. Putting his pointer finger to his lips if you did not know.

Quetly he pointed to a couple of people who were sitting in front of a fire a few meter ahead of them.

He quietly made his way to try and go around them, but their plans were foiled when they heard a snap behind them and turned to see even more tribe people with spears pointed to wards them.

"Well well lucky us." Heather said giving a pointed glare at Gwen who was fumbling with the walkie talkie.

"Chris, we need help. Chris, Chris" The lid of the walkie talkie popped off. "No batteries." She said in a high pitched squeak.

…..

Chris and Chief were sitting in front of a bonfire, roasting marsh mellows when the hosts cellphone rang off.

"Yes? This is he. You`re what?!"at the sound of someone talking through the other side.

"Yes, yes I understand. Bye" the host hung up

"The actors hired to play Zing Zings can`t show up. The road is blocked. The challenge is going to be so boring now.

…

They were led to a bunch of huts in front of a stone building that resembled the Mayan sun temple, only thickly covered with vegetation.

The tribe people started to tie them up one by one until they reached Rem when they took a good look at her one of the shouted something and suddenly they carried her off.

Seeing this Cody started to struggle against his bonds even more than before, but it was useless. They were thrown in a wooden cage with their hands tied behind their backs.

"Great why did they want little miss moon child there?" Heather complained.

Cody on the other hand was quietly trying to reach his back pocket where his pocket knife was. Boy did that bring back memories.

Cody was tossed on the forest ground, his hands tied behind his back. A second later a knifelanded near his face.

"All right kid lets see how you do for the tenth time in a row." A voice said and looking up he saw hi mentor in front of him.

Sitting up right, slightly hunched due to his tied hands.

"Can you please tell me again why you are doing this to me."

The man sighed."Look kid. When it comes to life it`s better to be prepared. And I honestly expected…." He was cut of as Cody stood up his hands untied and a pocket knife in his hand.

"Expected what?" he smirked.

Cody felt the rope snap in his hands, turning to the others he approached them and whispered in a quiet voice.

"Everyone get with our back in the center, I can get us out of here."

As the girls followed what he said he started to cut the ropes.

"Is anyone coming?" he asked out loud as he looked around for guards.

"No one." Courtney said.

Finally all their hands were free and he turned to get them out of the cage by kicking bars and breaking them.

They snuck out only to see Rem holding a spiked ball with red liquid on it….. with dead bodies all around her.

The other 4 of them were frozen with fear coming from all of them except Cody who surprisingly wasn't that scared although he was still upset by it.

"Um Rem…. What did you do?" Cody spoke.

"They tried taking me away, so I simply killed them." Rem said with no emotion.

After they were a safe distance away Gwen turned on the walkie talkie to try and contact the host.

"Chris, Chris it`s Gwen, We are lost Send help. I repeat send help!"

"Walkie talkies are for emergencies only." The host said but he was starting to feel excited because finaly some excitement.

"But.."Gwen tried to speak only to be interrupted by Chris.

"Okay Team Amazon, remain calm and….." he was in turn interrupted by the 'song time' bell.

"You must be jocking." Heather said glaring at the walkie talkie.

"Do we have to sing backup." Owen`s voice was heard freom the other frequency.

"No this one is all Amazon, but lets make it end with a lithe solo from Heather …and begin."

Not far from them the tribe people around the temple one of them was on a spanish styled guitar and another on a pan flute.

The were singing the best as they could but still were frozen over what happened.

Heather was the first to sing.

We should have just gone left. We w-wouldn't be in this mess!

She sang as she half glared at Gwen.

Courtney was next.

I s-said so too, but then G-gwen chose to go to the left.

Now if we get ki- lost...

Heather almost said something horrible but thankfully fixed it with a fearful expression.

Courtney followed as they gazed at the direction of the temple.

what will we do then?

Tied up, rope is no joke!
Dead bo- Spears in our face, get us out of this place.
Ain't having the luck that I anticipated.
Probably means I'm de- eliminated. Yeah, I'm out!

Gwen finally decided to participate in the song as she did a quick rap verse.

O-o-out! Ooh, ooh, yeah. Yeah. Yeah.

Heather sang that solo last and just as she finished Cody and Rem walked towards them while Rem once again showing no emotion.

They all silently started running in a mad dash away from the place. The only lucky thing so far was that Rem had seen Machu Picchu from the top of the temple so they knew which direction they were headed.

When dusk settled the were at the base of a giant tree, the girls had gathered enough firewood to last them the entire night. And Cody upon arrival headed off to get something edible and Rem followed him which caused the rest of the girls to sigh in relief, they returned when they had collected the girewood and placed his jacket which had been used as a bag to carry a huge variety of eddable plants and fruits. There were mangos, bananas, peanuts, nutmegs,cocnuts, citruses,pineapple and all kind of berries and some edible roots.

Needless to say the Amazons had a nice Amazonian styled dinner in the Amazon rain forest.

Once they were finished Cody spoke.

"Why don`t you guys take a break and get some shut eye. I`ll take watch."

"Are you sure?" Rem asked willing to stay up even though her eyes were dropping from exhaustion and sudden fullness that the food gave. Cody`s eyes normally would have softened but were still as sharp as ever.

"Yeah, you can go—actually wait can I talk to you in private please He asked as he leaned next to the tree the fire eliminating the left side of his face.

When they was sure the girls were asleep, they walked a bit towards a tree that was far from the 3 girls.

It was cody who broke the ice.

"WHY DID YOU DO THAT"

"Because I was going to be taken away."

"But why would you kill them."

"Because they were threatening my master's life.." Rem replied but then realized what she said and began sweating.

"What master?" Cody asked confused.

Rem sighed knowing it was time to tell him the truth.

"I'm sorry I never told you this but the truth is, your parents told me to come to this show to make sure you were ok. The reason why is because both of them are—nevermind I shouldn't be talking about that. Basically, they told me that you were my master." Rem explained.

Cody was shocked at first but then concerned at 2 parts of her speech.

"Where are my parents?" Cody ask—no demanded.

"They are both in a hospital as they had a car accident and got injured. Your mother was slammed arm first into the windshield causing her arm to snap in seconds. Thankfully, it seems as though it will be recovering soon. However," Rem tries not to tear up, "Your father is in critical condition. The reason why is because when their car crashed, he was flung head first to the other car they crashed into. He was just in a coma but thankfully he recently woke up and seems to be getting better although he feels horrible about not telling you."

It was silent until the dam was broken as Cody started crying rapidly which caused Rem to run towards him and hugged him as hard as she could to make his sorrows go away.

It took 10 minutes until he stopped crying.

"Thank you for that, I really needed it but my second question is why did you take the job" Cody said while still having tear marks on his face.

"That's because after seeing what you went through in Total Drama Island and what you went through behind the scenes of Total Drama Action, I decided it was time that someone were to care for you and the reason why I was chosen was because I personally volunteered to protect you this season."

"But why though, I'm nothing special, I'm just a friendless geek" Cody despairingly said looking at the ground.

*SLAP*

His face suddenly had a red mark on it.

"Hey what was that for—" Cody was about to ask until he was utterly shocked when Rem had her lips on his lips.

The kiss lasted 10 seconds until Rem pulled away with a bit of drool coming off her mouth.

"It's because I love you silly and NOBODY deserves what you been through and you are a sweet guy."

Rem hugged Cody once more and this time Cody hugged back while snuggling then drifting to sleep.

It was morning when Rem awoke to see her snuggling Cody. She was confused at first but then she remembered what happened last night and smiled.

She got up aHeather, Courtney and Gwen still asleep and Cody still next to her.

There was a yawn out of a certain chestnut hair boy who was trying to stand back up if it wasn't for the strength of the blue haired maid.

He just then rememberd what happened and at first was trying not to cry over his parents but then remembered the thing that happened after he cried in which he blushed

"Do you think we should wake them up.. Master?" She asked motioning towards Heather, Courtney and Gwen while blushing.

"Yeah,, the sooner we get out of her the better. Also please do not call me master Rem-rem as they can't know just yet." Cody said.

"Ok Cody-Wody" Rem replied which caused Cody to blush.

Confession Cam

Rem- YES! I finally got the courage to confess to him. Now he is finally mine and finally has someone to love him for the great guy he is. Rem smiled in excitement.

They woke the others up and were running towards Machu Picchu.

They got there just in time to see Owen pick up a crystal and destroy the old city.

….

In the elimination room Team Amazon was awaiting judgement but

"Allright Amazons. Are you ready to find out who you chose to eliminate?" chris said as he had a television and a remote.

In the end both Gwen and Courtney voted for Heather, Heather for Gwen, Rem had a bit of reluctance but had gone for Heather in the end and Cody stamped his own saying he should have watched out better for them when they were trapped. In the end Heather snapped.

"Lets just get this over with!" she said with her arms crossed

"I guess this would be a good time to watch Heather fall out of a plane if this had actuaaaly been an elimination round but it is not! Surprise!"

A gasp was heard in the room from the females.

…

That night Cody snuck out to the cargo bay once again. He took a small bag of the leftover fruits and nuts and roots he had left and passed it to a small hand.

"Here, you need all the vitamins you can get. Since I'm in Loser Class now I can sneak you some more food than usual."

From the quietness of the room a small voice was heard.

"Thanks eh." And Cody sent a small smile to the person before he left.

...
