The group headed back to the alley DK west was hanging out in and saw him there. He definitely was feeling better after the verbal smackdown Zuke gave him a few days ago.

"Well he seems… unusually peppy today." Ethox said.

"Ohohoho! Zukedy Zuker Zuke Zuke Zuke Zuke, Zuke! I just unearthed the most amazing-!" DK West started.

"I'm done with your games, West! You no longer listen to reason, you act like we're still in secondary school and-" Zuke interrupted before being cut off.

"But Zuke, look! I found this!" DK West said, pulling out a tape recorder as Zuke widened his eyes in surprise.

"Whoa...is that? My old tape recorder? You fixed it?" Zuke asked.

"Ya! Now listen to this!" DK West said, playing it.

"Promise you'll never ever play this again? Mmmm, ok." A younger Zuke said on the recorder. "I'm a little Zonkey. Heehaw! Heehaw!"

"Pffffft." Mayday said, trying not to laugh.

"Oooh, that is embarrassing…." Legolia smiled to herself.

"Remember when we recorded this? I can't believe the tape still works!" DK West said, playing the recording again as he laughed. "I cannot! Cannot wei! Ooooooh no! Oh! Zuke, you were so funny!"

"AGH! You told me you threw that stupid tape away you lying piece of-! DAH!" Zuke yelled. "You see guys?! You see what I have to deal with?!"

"Yeah, I see it." DJ said. "And I gotta say… I envy you."

"What?" Zuke asked.

"You heard me. I never had this kind of relationship with my twin." DJ said. "And I never will. You're throwing away something most people would kill for here."

"But DJ, West, he's….!" Zuke said.

"I know you and him are at each other's throats. And I know you don't want to face him in a rap battle again." DJ said. "So let me do it. I'm gonna air out all this tension the only way I know how: with music."

"Wait, you?" Mayday asked.

"Yeah, that's right." DJ said, looking at West. "You hear that West? This time it's you and me. Rap Battle, winner takes all." he challenged, switching his headphones off, the autotune with it. "Let's go! Rap Battle, yo!" he said in a voice almost similar in tone to Master Rapper.

"Huh?" Zuke asked.

"Fuyooooooh." West turned off the tape recorder. "Eh, Zuke, this one acknowledges my greatness! I like his voice too, so stylish! Well brotha, I'm down with your challenge! It's time for…!"

"E-E-E-Ewah! Rap Battle!" DJ declared.

"Woi!" West called in annoyance.

(Cue: DK West Encounter 3)

The music started up, taking on a slower, upbeat Rap and Dikir Barat tone. Grantz and Ultra were selected to sink into their shadows this time, becoming green and blue respectively.

"Hope you know what you're doing, DJ." Grantz said.

"Set 'em straight, man." Ultra said as they advanced forward to evade and attack, this time with the crowd not chanting along.

DK West:

Hey, Hey, Hey,

Hey DJ, how YOU doing today?

Haha!

If you want the real deal

Don't pick someone who steals

You wanna pick a winner instead

Trust me I'm the original exceptional

Ini ORI not like Zuke he's just COPYing my moves

If you like those moves, pick the OG grooves

DK West is your man, others they just stan.

DJ:

Hey West, you know Zuke still looks up to you

Zuke:

Hey don't tell him that

DJ:

You're his brother, not from another mother

And you're not a bother, you're the real deal

You got such a big following

and this power is building

It's a threat to the political system of Vinyl City

This is important, your role is true

Rise up to the occasion and be a real inspiration

DK West:

Yes, I've done some things

but I'm not really convinced that Zuke

really respects what I do

Zuke's probably out to get me

to diss me, to mock me, to cut me

Zuke can't stand watching me succeed

He wants all the spotlight on him

oh poor Zuke

DJ:

That's silly West

You know Zuke is following your footsteps

Every move, every groove, you've been inspiring Zuke

This rebellion?

Zuke's been emulating your success

We're trying to bring freedom to the city

and fight the NSR empire

DK West:

Zuke's been doing great things

I can see it myself

but you can't undo a history

of his mean vibes to me

I've been disappointed

down and out

My own brother out to get me

Zuke's been forever not liking me

So how can I forgive

how can I move on

You've probably never changed anyhow anyway

DJ:

West you gotta know

Zuke was only doing his thing

He wasn't doing anything like scheming

So don't think badly or let your mind go madly

In the wrong direction, with too much introspection

Instead reframe your mind, open up your thoughts

Widen up your heart, you gotta know your brother

Looks up to you, he only wants the best

To learn from the best, the real deal

The role model, the one and only rhyme master

The often imitated, never replicated DK West

DK West:

Aw naw now now now

Just wait, are you making this up, you just creating

Stories that tell of my real glory

You're making me wonder

Are you telling the truth?

Well I wanna talk with Zuke

I wanna ask him things

I'm not really convinced

Whether that's really how your heart sings

or are you playing me little brother

You're taunting me oh jangan ketawa

But I have the feeling you got things hidden

Ulterior motives, got my mind buzzing

It was at this moment Zuke stepped up to take over, and DJ got on his turnable gauntlets to lay down a backtrack.

Zuke:

I gotta admit pride got a hold on me

When I outdid you West

College was when I was best

But you gotta know, any human would feel the same

And like DJ said, I still look up to you bro

You build your career from scratch

and made it higher and higher

until NSR had to step in

and kill that blazing fire

They knew you were dangerous

High risk, high energy, highly influential

DK West, simply the best, from the bottom to the top

of the game!

DK West:

I created the ruckus

A whole crazy ride

That really built up my pride

I never wanted to influence the politics of the city

I just wanted to make music/ rhymes grooves yeah hit it

and so I left it all behind Vinyl City bye bye adios selamat tinggal

But yeah Zuke I see you

You've progressed from the blur

from the clueless of the clueless

To a leader, to a man, to the leader of the rebellion

and let me say ewah brother that makes me proud inside

DK West, your brother

Zuke:

West, what you did for the city

Even if unintentional

hit all the main points

We really hit national

Was awesome fully truesome

and despite the powers that be

NSR's monopoly,

the crazy grip on the city

was shaken to the core

The great DK West managed to shake it

The political system we need to break it

This is what I'm trying to do now

DK West:

Zuke congrats you the man,

you can stir up the city,

Just like I did before,

There's no reason why it can't be done more,

If something's to be done, it can be done done done done done,

But you know Zuke,

You told me right in my face

You put me in my place

You said I wasn't a brother

and that truely bothered me

Ewah I am not your bro?

Ewah really Zuke bro?

Zuke:

I was dumb

I was stupid

I was foolish

I was blinded

I'm sorry for saying something so dumb stupid foolish

I didn't mean, to be mean, I mean you know what I mean

And despite all our bickering, our fighting, our disagreeing

DK West you will always be (ewah) my brother my family my man

DK West you will always be my brother my family my man (ewah)

(song end)

As the song ended, DK West was touched.

"DK West you will always be my brother, my family, my man (ewah)." Zuke said.

"You really mean that, bro? You still look up to me?" DK West asked.

"Yeah. You know I joined the music scene because of you, right?" Zuke said.

"Owhhh. Then...I...uh...how about...we-" DK West tried to say.

"How about a truce?" Zuke asked, holding his right hand out as DK West looked down at it and held his hand out before they decided to share a brotherly hug.

"Sorry, bro. Sometimes I just…" DK West trailed off.

"Yeah, me too, brother." Zuke said.

"Well...this is the part where I leave." DK West said as he walked to his cart.

"Huh? Leaving already?" Zuke asked.

"Yes, as I walk off into the sunset…" DK West said as he held his hand up to the NSR tower.

"Why don't you join us? We can take down NSR together!" Zuke said.

"You go ahead and save Vinyl City. I got some...meditation to do. See you around, little Zuke." DK West said.

"Oh, okay." Zuke said, disappointed. "Will you remember to reply my messages this time?" he asked.

"Yeah, I will. Besides, I now have this baby to remind me every day." DK West said as he pulled out the tape recorder and played it. "You too, misters and missies! I will talk to you all again next time. WEEEEESSSSSSST OUUUUUUUUUUUUT!" he said before hefting the front of his cart up and running off into the night.

"Bye, West!" Mayday said.

Grantz and Ultra then popped out of the shadows.

"Whew! Glad that's over!" Grantz said. "Nice going, DJ."

"Yeah, you totally mened Zuke and West's relationship with your sick rapping!" Ultra agreed.

"That was some legit rapping skills you got there, DJ." Zuke added. "And thanks."

"No problem." DJ said, switching his headphones back on.

"So, that's what you really sounded like back there? Your voice, it was similar to..." Mirror Match said. "It was like his."

"Yeah, Fuschia's." DJ said. "It's obvious, we're twins after all. Or, we were… y'know what, let's just move on."

"Yo!" Mayday said.

Brotherly Love

Ewah!

"Alright! Now we can finally move on to the last NSR artist!" Aqua said.

"Yeah, but this one is also connected to Zuke from his personal past life." Vicktoriya said.

"So, you've figured it out, huh?" Zuke said.

"Yeah, we did." Seiya said. "The final artist standing in the way between us and Tatiana… is your ex-girlfriend."
