Tris' POV:

The first thing I see when I open my eyes is the sun shining in the room. I rub my eyes and yawn. That's when Tobias snakes his arm around my waist and moves me snugly into him. I smile and turn around to see that he's grinning sleepily, too.

He leans in and captures my lips, caressing my naked body under the covers. I melt into him, kissing back eagerly and holding his equally naked body.

"Hm, Tris," he groans in his deep morning voice, which gives me shivers.

"Hey," I say when we pull back.

"Hey," he responds, giving me another kiss. "We should be getting up, love." He murmurs, kissing along my neck.

"Yeah, we probably should." I say only to pull him closer to me.

He moves on top of me under the covers and pushes me into the mattress, kissing me deeply. I wrap my legs around him, which causes his hard length to press directly on my core. He groans softly into my mouth, then pulls back and stares into my eyes. I smile and hold him tighter to me. He runs the head of his shaft over my folds and slides into me, filling me completely.

I close my eyes and let out a low moan, clenching down on him. Tobias groans and starts moving into me, each thrust hitting a spot in me. He brings his mouth to mine and plays with my tongue, letting them tangle. We kiss for a long while, moaning and grunting into each other's mouths, our bodies moving together.

Tobias increases his pace and drives into me with incredible force. I can feel him stretch my walls, making me writhe underneath him. I gasp loudly when he thrusts harder and faster. He whispers in my ear that he loves me and I let go, pleasure overcoming me. I call out his name and come hard. He keeps thrusting into me, repeating my name over and over till his own release finds him. His shaft throbs inside me as he spills his seed.

He falls on me, and we both try catching our breath. After we can speak again, he pulls back and looks at me, grinning widely.

"You are so incredible, you know that? I love you." He breathes, moving my hair behind my ear and holding my face. I smile brightly.

"I love you, too, Tobias." I whisper against his lips and we kiss softly.

He rolls onto his side, pulling me close to him and kisses my forehead. I tangle our feet under the covers and snuggle into him.

"You hungry?" I ask him after a while.

"Yeah, let's make some breakfast." He replies.

We get out of bed and head downstairs after I put one of his shirts on and he wears his briefs. We decide on some scrambled eggs and bacon. Tobias starts making the eggs while I prepare some coffee.

We quickly finish eating and clean up the kitchen. I go upstairs to take a shower and he joins me. We wash each other thoroughly, kissing gently as we don't want to ignite the flames of passion again. After rinsing, we dry off and put some casual clothes on.

Tobias drops me off to Miranda's, even though I told him I don't mind taking the train, but he's insistent.

"I love you." I say breathlessly, after giving him a long kiss.

"I love you, too, Tris." He whispers, giving me another kiss.

I get out and wave at him, he smiles and drives off to Mike's place. I head inside and ring Miranda's doorbell. I had texted her about hanging out and she said she'd love it. She's a really sweet friend. She has red hair, with brown eyes and is a few inches taller than me. She works at a bakery called 'Crumbs' and I love their desserts. She is the one who often gives me recipes, like the Dauntless cake we made.

She opens up the door and her dog Charlie jumps up on me, covering my face in slobber, making me giggle.

"Hey, Tris!" She greets me, once Charlie calms down.

"Hey! How are you doing? I smell chocolate!" I say hugging her.

"I'm good! Come on in. I'm making triple chocolate cookies!" She says, laughing.

We spend the next few hours preparing the cookies. It's a new recipe she's developing so she makes a few different batches, trying to perfect it. I text Tobias after some time, asking if he's having a good time with Mike, but he doesn't reply.

I'm playing with Charlie when my phone rings. It's an unknown number. I pick it up, confused as to who would be calling me.

"Hello. I'm speaking from the city hospital. Is this Tris Eaton?" A female voice asks.

"Yes, this is Tris." I respond.

"Good evening, ma'am. I'm awfully sorry to be telling you this, but Mr. Tobias Eaton has been brought into the hospital. He is severely injured, we suspect it was a car accident. As you are the emergency contact for him, we request you to please come over as soon as possible." The voice fades, and my ears start ringing.

I stay still for a moment, processing the information. Tobias is severely injured. My hands start shaking. Miranda gives me a confused look. The lady's voice echos through the phone, asking if I'm still on line, but I can't seem to answer.

Miranda takes the phone from my hand, talking to the lady. I try to shake off the bad thoughts, I have to get to Tobias. I pick up my things and head toward the door.

"Tris, do you want me to come with you?" Miranda asks, giving my phone back.

I shake my head and she hugs me, telling me to call her if I need anything. I nod and rush out. I get a cab and tell the driver my destination. I sit impatiently in the back seat, hoping and praying that Tobias is okay.

I arrive at the hospital and quickly head inside, my heart thumping in my chest. I rush to the reception desk.

"Tobias Eaton. He was admitted recently. I'm his wife." I pant. The lady, the same one who spoke with me on the phone, directs me toward a room. I mutter a quick thank you and make my way to the room.

Outside the room is a nurse standing, and she asks me to wait as the doctor is performing a surgery. I protest but there's nothing I can really do but wait. I slump into a chair outside and wait for the doctor to come out.

It feels like an eternity when the door finally opens and a doctor comes out. I stand up quickly and wait for him to tell me what's going on with Tobias. The doctor takes his surgical mask off and sighs. My heart beats even faster.

"Mrs. Eaton? I'm Dr. Mehra. I have been looking after your husband. We just finished surgery on him. And..." He sighs. "I'm so sorry, Mrs. Eaton. We couldn't save him." He says and I stop breathing.

"What? No! Where is he? Let me see him!" I move past him, trying to get into the room, but he stops me.

"Look, I know it's hard to hear this. But it's true. I'm so sorry." He says.

It can't be true. No! My Tobias can't be dead. I don't know what's going on. Am I in a terrible nightmare? I feel tears falling down my face. My body starts shaking, not comprehending what just happened. I fall to the ground, and the doctor and nurse rush to help me.

"Please let me see him!" I beg them. "I need to see my husband. Please!"

The doctor nods and lets me enter the room. I walk on shaky legs, not knowing what to expect. As I move closer to the bed, I see a bruised face, covered in bandages. The person is not recognisable at all. But I know, in my heart, that it's not Tobias. His body is nothing like Tobias' and his hair is black, not brown like Tobias.

"This isn't my husband." I say to the doctor.

"Mrs. Eaton, I understand it's hard to lose a loved one, but you have to accept it that he's no longer with us." Dr. Mehra reasons.

I shake my head, trying to explain, when the lady from the reception desk comes into the room.

"Oh, Mrs. Eaton. We are so terribly sorry. I don't know how we could have made such a mistake. Your husband is completely fine. He's outside waiting for you." She says and I leave the room, rushing out into the reception area.

I see Tobias standing there, a worried look on his face. He runs toward me when he sees me and I fall into him, letting him hold me tightly. I start crying into his chest, a weight being lifted off of me, relieved that he's okay.

"Tobias, what's going on?" I cry.

"Tris, I'm so sorry. Come with me. I'll explain everything." He says and leads me out of the hospital to our car.

We get in and I turn to look at him. I have his hand clutched into mine, not wanting to let go.

"I lost my wallet this afternoon, along with my phone. I have no clue as to how that happened. The only thing that makes sense is someone must have picked my pocket." He says, running his fingers through my hair.

"That must be why you weren't answering my texts." He nods.

"I went to block my card and get a new one, along with a new phone. I deactivated my old phone and brought a new one with the same number. Just as I was going to call you, my phone started ringing. It was Mike, he started asking me all sorts of questions about where I was and if I was okay. Then he told me he heard from Miranda that you got a call from the hospital saying I was injured. I didn't understand at first, but then I realised that the person who stole my wallet also had my driver's license. So the hospital must have assumed he was me." He explains.

I nod, my mind trying to understand all the craziness. I reach over and bring his face to mine, kissing him eagerly. He holds my face as he returns the kiss, pushing his tongue into my mouth.

"They told me you were dead." I pull away, the tears starting again. "I thought you were gone."

"No, Tris. I'm here, I'm not going anywhere. I'm so sorry about all of this." He murmurs, kissing me fiercely.

"I love you so much, Tobias." I whimper.

"I love you, too, Tris." He whispers against my lips and deepens the kiss. "Let's go home. It has been one hell of a day."

At home, he holds me close as he makes love to me, whispering to me that he loves me and that he'll never leave me. I cling to him, my body feeling whole again as we move together passionately.

A/N: Hey everyone! Don't worry, Tobias is completely fine! But I hope you're enjoying the drama.
