MAY THE FOURTH BE WITH YOU! HAPPY STAR WARS DAY EVERYONE! I know that this is late, but I have finals this week and next week. I promise the next chapter will be up soon, and it will be all about Addison, Bree, and Eliza! I don't own Call to the Wild only the parts that I changed. And everyone knows that Eliza is singing in the place of Addison? Also this is the longest chapter I have written for this story so far. I'm done talking on with the story!
Chapter 7 Call to the...
(Wyatt's POV)
Wyatt wakes up with a grin on his face, today is the day! Willa and Wynter will finally meet Eliza. To say that he was nervous was an understatement. He knows how his sister will act, but Eliza and Wynter are wild cards he had no idea how they would react to each other. Good thing Bonzo will be there to lend a hand if needed (probably just to shield Eliza away from Willa) which is always helpful. He gets off his cot and gets ready for the day. He decides to bathe about an hour before Eliza meets him in the forest.
He gets some breakfast in the den watching as the werepups taunt and tease Wynter as she tries to keep up with them. He laughs when they make her dizzy and then tackle her. He finishes eating and then goes to help her.
"Alright everyone that's enough I think Wynter would like to breathe." Wyatt says as he gently pulls two of the werepups off Wynter. Setting them on the ground.
"Thanks." Wynter says as she sits up.
"Wyatt, will you play with us?" Wanda asks gently grabbing his arm.
"Sure, I will." Wyatt says. The werepups howl and so does he.
"I'm going to go talk to Willa." Wynter says when she stands up and heads over to where Willa is talking to their mother.
"So, what do you guys want to do?" Wyatt asks.
"Can we go out? Wynter doesn't let us play in the forest anymore." Wanda says.
"That's because she listens to her Alpha." Willa says as she and Wynter approach them.
"Maybe they could go out for a little while." Wynter says.
"No, it's bad enough that the humans are cutting down our forest. And now Wyatt's 'friend' is going to be in the den?" Willa scoffs.
"Hey, all Eliza is trying to do is help." Wyatt says. "Besides you can't keep them in here forever they need the fresh air and you know it."
"Fine, have Bonzo go with you you'll have 30 minutes, stay within earshot and-" Willa is cut off.
"Howl if something happens." The werepups say in unison. Willa raises a brow at them. They scurry to the den opening.
"Wait for Wyatt and Bonzo!" Willa yells.
"You did the right thing." Wyatt says then goes to catch up with the werepups, Bonzo was already outside waiting for them.
"Alright now that you're out what you do want to do?" Wyatt asks his question again.
"Hide and seek!" The werepups say. Bonzo and Wyatt chuckle, Wyatt tells everyone and Bonzo to hide while he counts to 20.
He finds six of the werepups rather quickly they will need to work on their camouflage. He found two others at hiding up a tree, clever Wyatt had thought. He found three others behind some bushes eating berries. He chuckles when he sends them back to the den. Now all he had to do was find Wanda and Bonzo. He knew he was really going to be in tune with his senses to find them. It took about 10 minutes before he found their scents Once he was close, he smirked. Of course, she hid with Bonzo he would know the best places to hide. Wyatt thinks he follows their scents to the river he almost didn't spot them they were covered up pretty good by the trees and the bushes.
"Found you guys." Wyatt says.
"Took you long enough." Bonzo signs. Wanda giggles.
"What? I got to save the best for last." Wyatt says with wink at Wanda Bonzo rolls his eyes but smiles.
"Did you find the others?" Wanda asks.
"I did there all back at the den waiting." Wyatt says.
"We should head back before they wonder off." Bonzo signs.
"Yeah, lets head back." Wyatt says and the trio makes their way back to the den. The werepups are waiting outside the den all of them for once.
"Wyatt, can we make something for your friend?" Wanda asks.
"Uh, yeah sure." Wyatt says not expecting the question. Wanda smiles and runs over to the other werepups and they gather leaves and flowers. Wyatt and Bonzo sit on a few rocks nearby watching them work.
"That was a great hiding spot." Wyatt says as he shifts to the left to look at Bonzo. "Thanks, do any of them need help camouflage?" Bonzo signs. "Yes, six of them do I'll tell you who later." Wyatt says. "So, do we need to gather some roots and stuff for Eliza?" Bonzo asks. "Yeah, we do, maybe just three of each I'm not sure how much of that stuff she's bringing." Wyatt says. "She seems to care a lot about us, I wonder why?" Bonzo signs giving Wyatt a knowing look. "Eliza just wants to help us get our home back." Wyatt says. "Sure, it has nothing to do with you going over to see her every night?" Bonzo signs. "No, though the food is great." Wyatt says. "So, you don't like her?" Bonzo says. "What? Of course, I like her she's so smart, funny, sarcastic, and beautiful." Wyatt says with a sigh then he thinks about how he had seen her in that cloth with nothing underneath he makes himself blush.
"I see. How do you think Willa will react?" Bonzo signs. "You heard how she reacted earlier." Wyatt says with a huff. "Eliza can handle herself." Bonzo signs. "I know she can, but we both know that Wynter is the true wild card." Wyatt says. "True, it just depends on the scenario." Bonzo signs. "Yeah, it does." Wyatt says. Then they hear a howl.
"Times up pups take what you're working on inside." Bonzo signs. The werepups gather their items and all scurry into the den. Not long after Willa comes out with Wynter.
"I see they had fun." Willa says.
"Yeah, they did." Wyatt says.
"What did you play?" Wynter asks.
"Hide & seek." Bonzo signs.
"Let me guess, you took your time finding Bonzo?" Willa asks.
"No, I wanted to find the others first then I went to find Bonzo and Wanda." Wyatt says.
"Wanda was hiding with Bonzo awesome!" Wynter says excitedly.
"Yeah, it took me a while to find them." Wyatt says.
"Of course, it did." Willa says.
"Bonzo let's go hunt." Wynter says. Bonzo nods they leave the siblings.
"She, better be here on time." Willa says. "She will I'm going to get her later." Wyatt says. "How can you trust her?" Willa asks. "It wasn't hard. She's wasn't so easy to trust at first, but I got to know her a little." Wyatt says. "So, you've developed a crush on her?" Willa states. "Willa-" Wyatt is cut off. "You can't lie to me little brother." Willa says. "So, what if I did?" Wyatt challenges. "Wyatt humans don't care about us, remember what they did to dad?" Willa says. "Not every human is that way, and if you weren't so caught up in the past you would see that." Wyatt says and gets up. "Where are you going?" Willa asks. "To help the werepups with their gift for Eliza." Wyatt says leaving his sister sitting on the rocks as he makes his way into the den and over to the werepups.

Wyatt had just finished bathing he had about 30 minutes before he had to go and get Eliza. He dried off and got dressed and gets a light snack knowing that the pack was going to have a feast when Eliza was here. He makes his way to then entrance and sees Wynter.
"See you in a bit." Wynter says. Wyatt nods then takes the shorter route to get to Eliza's place. Once he arrives, he stays in the shadows until her company leaves.
"Okay Eliza, we'll see you tomorrow!" He hears someone say.
"Bye Bree, drive safe and tell Addison I'm not wearing pink." Eliza says as her friend drives off.
"What's so wrong with pink?" Wyatt asks as he comes out of the shadows. "Wyatt, what the hell! Don't do that!" Eliza screeches. "Sorry, I didn't want to interrupt." Wyatt says. "Thanks, and to answer your question, I've never liked the color it's everywhere." Eliza gestures to all around them. Wyatt takes a look around and does see that there is a pink house or car at every street. "Now I see what you mean. Are you ready to go?" Wyatt asks. "Yeah, I have everything on the couch. Come grab it for me and be careful the glass is fragile." Eliza says as she heads back in the house to grab her keys.
Wyatt walks inside and grabs her stuff he's not sure how he's going to run with this without dropping something. He heads back outside and waits for Eliza. She comes out with her bag and locks her house Wyatt starts to make his way towards the woods.
"Where are you going?" Eliza asks. "To the den." Wyatt says simply. "Yeah, no my endurance and stamina is not that good, hop in." Eliza says as she gets in her machine. Wyatt is hesitant, but makes his way to the other side where she has the door open. "How am I supposed to get in?" Wyatt asks. "Hand me those and then get in." Eliza says he hands her the stuff and gets in closing the door. "Now, what?" Wyatt asks. "Now you put on your seatbelt." Eliza says pointing to the belt with metal on in it he straps in and Eliza pulls out of her driveway and they make their way to the forest. In less than 20 minutes they are in the parking lot were they would normally meet.
"So, where does you mom think you are?" Wyatt asks when they get out her stuff in his hands. "She thinks I'm at Bree's doing homework." Eliza says as she locks her machine. "That works, let's go my sister is getting antsy." Wyatt says. "Why? I'm early." Eliza asks. "That's just Willa, don't take it personally." Wyatt says when the den entrance comes into view. "Whoa." Eliza says stopping. "Are you okay?" Wyatt asks. "Yeah, it's really well hidden." Eliza says. "Will that's what our ancestors wanted. Come on everyone's waiting." Wyatt says with a wolfy grin. Before they reach the entrance Bonzo comes out.
"Perfect timing, it was getting a bit hard to hold back Wynter." Bonzo signs.
"Wyatt, you brought her, finally!" Wynter says from behind Bonzo.
"Yeah, Wynter she was coming today, we all knew that." Wyatt says shaking his head.
"Hi, I'm Eliza." Eliza says.
"I'm Wynter, don't tell anyone about this place, or will have to kill you." Wynter says. Three pairs of eyes look at her: one in shock the other two bewildered. "Too much?" Wynter asks.
"Definitely." Wyatt says shaking his head.
"Is she serious?" Eliza asks.
"No, Wynter sometimes doesn't think before she speaks." Bonzo signs.
"Sorry, welcome!" Wynter says. Bonzo takes Eliza's stuff from Wyatt.
"Where is he going with that?" Eliza asks.
"Don't worry he'll keep it safe I promise. Come on the pack is waiting." Wyatt says taking her hand in his leading her inside the den. The wolfs all howl in greeting. Eliza looks at him confused. "It's just a wolf greeting." Wyatt says then leads her up the stairs and the wolfs down below start dancing.

"Wow that was great!" Eliza says. The werepups come over with their gift.
"This is for you." Wanda says handing it to her.
"Really? Um, thanks." Eliza takes the necklace made of leaves and flowers and wraps it around her neck. "What are these flowers they smell amazing." Eliza asks.
"There are dahlias." Wyatt says staring at Eliza as if she was the most beautiful girl, he's ever seen.
"Can you stop gawking at her, brother." Willa says rolling her eyes. Wyatt averts his eyes and blushes Eliza clears her throat.
"So, where do you want me to start?" Eliza asks. Willa looks at Wynter and she nods. Wynter points to the other side of the den where Bonzo had her stuff and everything that she needed. Wyatt takes her hand and leads her over to him.
"You guys want to help me, like last time?" Eliza asks. Wyatt and Bonzo nod. The trio begin dig a hole big enough. Once it was Bonzo grabbed the tree root and Wyatt grabbed her supplies. Eliza picked up a random leaf and seed putting both in the hole. Wyatt covers the hole up and Eliza pours the minerals and then some from her flask. "This will take a while, Bonzo keep the time for me?" Eliza asks. Bonzo nods taking the watch.
"So, who wants to help me with the rest?" Eliza asks. All the werepups howl. Eliza raises a brow.
"Sorry the werepups want to help." Wyatt says. Eliza smiles.
"Great, grab whichever seed or leaf and follow me." Eliza says as she grabs a few roots. Wyatt grabs her supplies. They head out of the den and to the left of it. As the werepups begin to dig two holes Wyatt notices Eliza pacing.
"Hey, what's wrong?" Wyatt asks. "I'm not sure how well these will do without the sunlight." Eliza says. "I think it will be fine." Wyatt says shrugging his shoulders. "Wyatt." Eliza says an uneasy. "Eliza, stop your amazing at what you do." Wyatt says with a smile. "Okay, fine." Eliza says with a huff. Wyatt winks at her and she rolls her eyes.
"Were done!" All the werepups say. Eliza and Wyatt head over to them.
"Awesome, now I need two of you to hold the roots in place." Eliza says. "Then I need one or two of you to place the seeds and the leaves that you chose in the hole. And then some of you to cover up the hole." Eliza takes two four test tubes from Wyatt. "Who wants to pour this in when the holes all covered?" Eliza asks. Wanda and Wayne came over to her. Once the hole was covered both werepups poured the minerals. Eliza pours the right amount from her flask onto each.
Eliza had two shiny bracelets on her wrist and she looks at both of them.
"This one had a one and a half minute head start." Eliza says then looks down at her flask. "After these two I have enough for one more any ideas on where we should plant the final one?" Eliza asks.
"How about up there?" Wynter says causing Eliza to jump back.
"Wynter? What are you doing?" Wyatt asks.
"Bonzo wanted me to tell you both that the tree spouted into a Gingko Tree and that, oh, what that was that last part?" Wynter says scratching her head trying to remember. Bonzo comes towards them
"It took 10 minutes to grow." Bonzo signs when he's closer.
"Great I have no idea how that helps, but cool." Eliza says.
"So, we got a tree that can help with fatigue and asthma, I'm not impressed." Willa says as she joins them.
"Hey, I don't predict what will grow, it's just an experiment." Eliza says. Then the first tree sprouts into a lemon tree. "That was 15 minutes." Eliza says. The next tree that sprouts is a jasmine flower bush with the ends to the petals a faint pink. "And this one took 20 minutes." Eliza says.
"So, are you going to use the last of that stuff up there?" Wynter asks as she points to the top of the den.
"I could, if that's what you want." Eliza says.
"Cool, I'll get the seeds and leaves, hey Bonzo want to help me with the root there's that big one left." Wynter says. Bonzo nods and they head back inside. Willa, Eliza and Wyatt along with the werepups follow not long after. When they get to the top Wynter and Bonzo are already digging the hole in the left corner.
"So, how's this?" Wynter asks when they are close enough.
"We might have to make the hole just a bit deeper, because this is a bigger root." Eliza says.
Once Bonzo and Wynter make the hole a little deeper Wyatt holds it in place and Wynter points to the seeds and then to Willa.
"Come on Willa, you've been grumpy all day." Wynter says.
"Fine, whatever." Willa says and toss the seeds into the hole. Eliza and Willa cover it up. Bonzo pours the minerals in her last two test tubes onto the covered hole. Wynter then pours what's left in Eliza's flask and then they wait.
"This was so much fun!" Wanda says and the werepups howl in agreement.
"I'm glad it was." Eliza says.
"This was good for the werepups they hardly get to go outside. Unless it's at night." Bonzo signs.
"No, thanks to the humans destroying our home." Willa mutters.
"Willa, enough." Wyatt says growling at his sister.
"It's fine Wyatt she's not going to trust me over night. I didn't expect her to either." Eliza says
"Good, don't expect it for a long time." Willa says.
"So, the clean-up will happen next weekend." Wyatt says.
"Yes, my friends and anyone who wants to volunteer will be here, well not here, but picking up the debris left behind." Eliza says.
"Great, mind if I come?" Bonzo signs.
"Are you sure you want to do that?" Eliza asks.
"You told her how long we can go without our Moonstones!?" Willa growls her Moonstone glowing and her eyes turn yellow.
"Willa, wait shit! Ow!" Wyatt yelps as he is pulled to his feet by his ear and then kicked in the gut by his sister. She lets go of his ear and grabs him by his arm to kick him repeatedly.
Eliza moves to help him, but Bonzo gently holds her back. When she stops struggling, he lets her go.
"Don't, it won't help him." Bonzo signs.
"WILLA THAT IS ENOUGH!" A voice booms. Willa let's Wyatt go roughly he fall face first in the dirt. Wynter bows and goes over to help Wyatt up. "Is this how you act when we have a guest?" The woman of the voice asks.
"No, mother." Willa says her head down.
"Great Alpha Winona" Wynter says.
"Hello Wynter take Wyatt to go get himself cleaned up." Winona says.
"Mom, you have to understand, he told this human secrets of our Moonstone." Willa.
"First off, this human has a name, it's Eliza. Second, I've kept my promise to Wyatt and I will continue to do so, but I can't help my curiosity. And it's not my fault he's so honest." Eliza says.
"I know he gets it from his father." Winona with a warm smile. "It's nice to finally meet you Eliza, Wyatt speaks highly of you." Winona says and Eliza blushes.
"It might just be because of the food." Eliza says with a shrug.
"No, it's not just the food, though that is a plus." Wyatt says when he joins them. Willa huffs and leaves.
"Don't mind my daughter, she just won't let go of the past." Winona says.
"She doesn't scare me." Eliza says.
"That must be nice." Wyat mutters.
"Wyatt, you could fight back, but you don't. That is why she always wins, because you let her. You need to learn how to fight your own battles." Winona says.
"I know. Are you okay?" Wyatt asks.
"Yes, I just wanted to see this." Winona says then looks to the root that is sprouting up a willow tree with peaches.
"This one took 30 minutes." Eliza says stopping her timer and writing it down in her log book.
"This is lovely." Winona says tears forming in her eyes.
"Mom, are you okay?" Wyatt asks.
"Yes, this tree, it reminds me of my mother. She was named after the willow tree and she always ate peaches." Winona says.
"Alpha Winona are you talking about Elder Willow?" Bonzo signs.
"Yes, I am. She was a great leader and warrior." Winona wipes her tears and turns to Eliza. "Thank you, the memory, of Elder Willow will live on." Winona says. Eliza smiles.
"You're welcome." Eliza says. Wyatt smiles Mom likes her, awesome. "I should get going, it is a school night." Eliza says
"We'll go gather your things, Wynter give me a hand?" Bonzo says. Wynter nods and they leave.
"Come back and visit anytime." Winona says then turns to Wyatt. "Make sure she gets home safe."
"I will." Wyatt says as they head back down into the den the werepups wave and Eliza waves back.
"So, what do you think?" Wyatt asks. "I'd say there's never a dull moment in the den." Eliza says. "You're not wrong." Wyatt says with a chuckle. "Is your sister always so.." Eliza stops. "So intense? Yeah, she is." Wyatt says. "Are you going to be okay?" Eliza asks. "Yeah, she didn't aw me so hard, plus I heal really fast." Wyatt says with a wink. Eliza rolls her eyes. When they are outside of the den Bonzo and Wynter are waiting for them with all of her stuff.
"Thanks, you guys." Eliza says.
"You're welcome, it was so much fun!" Wynter says. "You know I thought I wasn't going to like you, but your cool." Wynter says. Wyatt lets out a sigh of relief.
"Um, thanks I guess." Eliza says as she takes her stuff from Wynter. Wyatt takes the stuff from Bonzo.
"I'll see you guys in a bit." Wyatt says. Bonzo nods and Wynter smiles. The pair leave them and head to Eliza's car. When they get there, she unlocks her car and they put everything in the backseat.
"You want to ride, back with me don't you?" Eliza says. "Well, I did promise my mom that I you would get home safe." Wyatt says. "Get it in." Eliza says as she opens the driver's side door. Wyatt smiles and gets in. The drive back to Eliza's is quiet. Once there Eliza parks and they pile out with all her stuff. She unlocks the door and they head inside.
"You can leave those on the table I have to wash them." Eliza says. "Do you want some help?" Wyatt asks as he sets the glass down on the table. "No, it's okay." Eliza says. "So, will I be seeing you tomorrow?" Wyatt asks. "Sorry no, the girls are taking me shopping for the homecoming dance on Saturday. And as much as I would like to hang out with you afterwards, I'm going to be too tired." Eliza says shaking her head. "I see, well I'll be going then." Wyatt says heading towards her front door.
"Wyatt, wait." Eliza says coming over to him. "What's up?" Wyatt asks. Eliza hugs him, shocked he hugs her back after a while. "Thank you for trusting me." Eliza says. "Hey you make it so easy." Wyatt says then kisses the top of her head before he lets her go. Eliza is stunned for a second before she recovers. Wyatt smiles.
"Goodnight Eliza." Wyatt says. "Goodnight Wyatt." Eliza says. Wyatt opens the door and closes it after one last look at her. Once he hears a click behind him, he heads home. When he gets back to the den, he goes to find Bonzo. He finds him in at the top sitting under their new Willow/peach tree.
"Bonzo, I need your help." Wyatt says. "What is it?" Bonzo signs. "I want to do something nice for Eliza before her Homecoming dance on Saturday." Wyatt says. "Okay, like what?" Bonzo signs. Wyatt tells Bonzo his plan.
"She's going to love it." Bonzo signs. "That's what I'm hoping for now let's get to work." Wyatt says.
