I started writing this the same day that I posted chapter 6, why? Because it was such a cruel cliffhanger!
I even faced the cruel nightmare that was Zeus on Sundays… Yikes. Pray for me .||.
Shout outs!

"Man this is a godamn nice story... I mean i am going crazy over this... you know what...cross post on Wattpad too... i bet u will have very good response there too"
My reply- "Thank you so much! Such a powerful statement, the text was bold too, so I know you mean it! Thank you! I do have a bit of the story cross posted on Wattpad, on AO3 and AFFO as well, but it's just two chapters, and then a link to the story on this site. I want all the readers to come to read the story here, it just makes it easier on me, and makes everyone on the same page:) Again, thank you so much! I'm definitely going to try and keep up the 'Content you go crazy over,' vibe:)
DeadDredd, one of my biggest readers, thank you man! Wrote:
"Really liked how you handled the whole reveal, it was really nice to read and hopefully the situation with Phoebe doesn't end up too bad. Excited to see how you handle the reveal to the rest of the Olympians."
My reply- "Thank you! Gosh I was so nervous that it was going to suck or something, you've no idea how good it makes me feel to hear that! Thanks! For the reveal to the rest of Olympus, that's what's happening in this chapter! Yeah! I considered having Phoebe like get attacked or something, because it was hinted that she might, but then I thought back to how cliché that would… And my goal for this story is to be unique, not cliché, but still also being based off of that cliché guardian story template. That's why I didn't make like 3 chapters explaining and playing out the betrayal of Percy, because we've all read that like 500 times, no need to waste my time writing it all again, right? Anyway, I want this to be unique, or as unique as I can possibly make it:) Know what I mean?"

Let me make one thing clear before you read this, questions are bound to pop up, so I will just answer this one right now: Zeus told Artemis to bring her lover, (if she had one, you'll find out why that part matters soon enough), but he did NOT know who it was. He has no idea that Artemis's lover is Percy.
Zeus sat patiently in his throne, (ok not so patiently), waiting for Artemis to show up… This meeting was about her, and she was late… Athena and Poseidon were arguing again, tensions between them had skyrocketed since Annabeth cheated on Percy. Aphrodite was doing makeup, Ares was flexing his muscles, and that left Apollo, Demeter and all the Olympians that names started with H. They were all doing nothing, just patiently waiting there. Oh, wait, Demeter was eating cereal. Wait, and Hestia was flipping through a cook book…
Suddenly there was a flash in the throne room, and guess what? Artemis appeared, she appeared behind her throne, Percy with her, she whispered in his ear and he nodded then sat down at back of her throne. She grew to her godly height and sat down on the godly seat, looking at all the other gods expectantly, slightly impatient… But that was nothing normal for Artemis, if anything she was more friendly looking than usual. No one had seen Percy, which was good.
"Welcome, Artemis." Hestia greeted her, and she nodded in affirmation.
"Yes, welcome, kind of you to finally show up..." Zeus commented.
He hadn't even called the meeting 5 minutes ago… So how could they pissed off that she was late? Whatever… Stupid gods.
"Forgive me, I didn't realize that I was late…" She replied.
"Gosh, can we please just get to the reason of why we are all here?" Apollo groaned, sounding extremely board.
Hermes chuckled lightly, and Percy swallowed a laugh of his own, the last thing he wanted was to draw any attention…
"Yes, so the reason I called this meeting… Is to discuss the fact that Artemis, has broken her oath of maidenhood!" Zeus proclaimed, sounding exasperated and dramatic, as usual…
Systematically every draw in the throne room dropped except four, Artemis's, Percy's, Aphrodite's and Hestia's… And Zeus's of course, but who's counting him?
Apollo's head dramatically swiveled to look at Artemis, a shocked look on his face, like he couldn't believe that the man hating sister he had always loved, and had nearly castrated him countless times for hitting on her hunters… wasn't a maiden anymore!
Well now that you put it that way, it sounds pretty shocking.
Poseidon had an appalled look on his face, but he also knew that Percy was the one that took her virginity, so he had an incredibly proud look on his face.
Hades had a… dead expression, his jaw open, but also with a look of: "Imma see how this plays out, because that's what death does, it sits, and waits."
Hestia looked proud… Hermes looked jealous, Ares looked jealous (much to the distaste of Aphrodite… I mean, you're the love goddess, and you're boyfriend is jealous of another guy because they took the virginity of another girl? Not the best feeling.)
Hephaestus looked shocked, Demeter looked as if she was ready to buy out every Kellog's raisin bran box on the planet, surprised that her niece had lost her virginity.
Hera looked… she looked shocked and approving, probably happy that Artemis finally was starting a family of her own or some shit… Who cares what Hera thinks?
Athena… Well she was probably the most shocked of them all, downright dumbfounded, she knew who was the lucky guy, and she was happy for Percy. Athena still felt very guilty about what Annabeth did to their hero, and she would have gladly been his girl if he hadn't chose Artemis, or if she hurt him too. She was happy for her sister, happy for Percy.
Oh… wait, we didn't mention the free loader! One guess what Mr.D (the D isn't for dick, which is really small BTW) was doing? Oh yeah, sleeping, not paying attention, and being a typical embarrassment point to the honor of the Olympians.
"So the famous man-hater finally gets fucked, the apocalypse is coming!" Hermes teased.
Artemis summoned her bow and fired an arrow right where the sun doesn't shine, it was a pretty small target, but not that small… Not as small as say, er, Ares. Percy barely contained his laughter that time, Apollo wasn't so fortunate, hell even Hestia giggled quietly.
He yelped and flashed of his throne, just in time to avoid getting castrated…
"Anyone else care to express their shock before we ask meaningful questions?" Zeus asked, sounding unimpressed.
A few people shook their heads.
"Good, now, Artemis… As you can see many people are shocked, we'll get to who in a minute, but I want to know if you were raped, or if this was consensual." He asked, genuinely concerned, as to whether it was because she was his daughter or not, was unknown, but it was still a nice to change to hear the kind Zeus,
"No, I wasn't raped, I gave up my virginity of my own free will, and I wanted to." She said, adding the last part to make sure that everyone knew she enjoyed it too.
Zeus raised an eyebrow, but then he asked: "I can't imagine that you'd let someone sleep with you without knowing them first, or killing them… So you've been hiding your lover from us for a while?" He asked.
"And what if I had? What the hell does it matter? Did you want to give him a concerned warning from dad? Somehow I doubt it, you've never expressed any interest in acting as a fatherly figure. You sound as if you're concerned, but I know it's a fake facade. I don't need to tell the council of my personal life, no one asks you about your many sleeparounds, but everyone knows because of how hurt Hera is because of it. Oh, and because of all the bullshit and trouble your male spawn pig has caused at camp half-blood!" She snapped, offended and pissed off, he was acting as if he cared when she knew damn well that he didn't.
Zeus actually looked hurt, flinching as if he had been slapped, even everyone in the throne room were slightly taken aback by that…
"I'm-"
"No you're not, don't lie to me, don't lie to US. Most everyone on this council are children of yours, and every last one of them would agree with me if you asked them how bad of a parent you are. Hell even Hestia and Hera would agree, you look at Poseidon, he cares about his children. You look at Hades, he cares about his children, you look at yourself, and the only thing you've done is spare Thalia the pain of dying by turning her into a tree, which is more than you've done for any of us!" She snarled.
Actually… Let me repeat that, Actually, Zeus looked hurt, ashamed. He truly had been a bad father, and hearing it form his own daughter just made it all the worse, Artemis had actually wanted him to be a fatherly figure to her, but yet he had completely failed her. He had tried to act as if he had cared about her, which he did deep down, but he hadn't said it right, instead he worded it terribly as to be offensive and set her off. Asking about a woman's sex life is never a good idea…
Poseidon and Hades both looked prideful that she had spoken highly of them, they were also soaking in the fact that their egotistical brother was hurting, finally someone put him in his place and taught him a lesson!
Hestia and Hera were looking hurt, they didn't like discord between the family, but that wasn't really why they were crestfallen, they were hurt because of how true Artemis's words were. The others members of the council were looking the same, various degrees of hurt and realization on their faces. Hell even Dionysis (Spelling? Whatever don't care…) was awake and muttering about how 100 years without wine was cruel.
"Zeus!" A female voice shouted, it was Demeter… She had actually put down her cereal and was speaking!
"We all get that you were a bad dad, ours was too, and you'll have forever to sulk when you get home from the meeting. But I'll give you some advice, brother, maybe you should try being a family member, a faithful husband, and a better father." She finished, Demeter didn't speak hardly ever, maybe 3 in ten meetings she actually said something… But when she spoke people listened, she was respected, not as much as Hestia, but she was still respected for her wisdom and age.
Speaking of Hestia, she was nodding, so was Hera and just about everyone else…
The children of Kronos were a… dilemma at best, there was much discord between them, the big three mostly, because of the fight for power.
But what you didn't hear about all that often, was Hestia and Zeus's discord with each other, Hestia held much more respect amongst the Olympians than Zeus did, she was also the oldest, some called her the most important of the Olympians… She was a big threat to him when it came to being king, every one knew that she had no desire to be Queen of Olympus, she didn't want to lead, and she didn't want it period. But if she did, she would have the support and could easily take the seat from Zeus. She didn't fight with him, but he didn't like her much, she was far too… perfect.
You also don't hear much about Hera's fights with him, even thought they're obvious. Or even Demeter's isolation and not wanting to talk to the others family members, other than Hestia and Hera.
But together, when it comes down to it, they are all siblings, and the children of Kronos and Rhea… Put aside their differences that they had developed over the centuries, and you had the six gods and goddesses that overthrew Kronos and the titans, even though the goddesses weren't fighters, they still fought for what they had built today, not a one of them dare ever forget the life they would have had had they not had each other. Just one of the reasons that they so deeply owed Percy for defeating Kronos the second time, because that he was such a dangerous threat to the Olympians, they fought as a team the first time, but that second time the six were divided… And that would have proven a fatal flaw.
"You're right, both of you… I was a bad parent, and I've been a bad king too. Unless Artemis cares to reveal who her lover is, which she doesn't have to, then I will dismiss this meeting..." He announced, looking at Artemis questioningly, most others were too.
"Artemis?" Apollo asked, encouragingly.
She hesitated, then sighed, and she looked at Hestia.
She nodded approvingly, like a mother would when you ask her if adding the chocolate chips to the batter is before or after you mix the butter in…
Artemis took a deep breath and nodded, she got up off her throne and shrunk to her normal beautiful young form. She walked behind her throne and spoke with Percy, asking if he wanted them to know, he agreed and she lead him out. When she got to the side of her throne she grew to her godly height again and picked him up, sitting down on her throne again and set him on her knee, she made sure to put her arms far out on the arm rests, and to keep her legs still.
Some people gasped when they say Percy, others just smiled (the ones that already knew.)
"Hello my Lords and Ladies." He said, smiling and bouncing his legs like a spoiled child…
"Percy!?" Apollo asked, incredulous.
"The punk? Instead of getting castrated by Artemis, he got laid!?" Ares shouted.
Hermes just looked like: "Well who else would it be, dumbass?"
Demeter looked approving, same as Athena and everyone else that already knew.
"Percy Jackson? So it's your guardian…" Zeus said.
"Well who else would it be? Only man that not only earned my respect, but also earned my love and trust, he didn't deserve all the pain and suffering that came to him…" She looked at Athena, who looked away, shameful. "Nor did he deserve to be forgotten, he showed me and my hunters kindness when they shunned him, and he showed me that there are good men in this world… And Percy is as perfect as they come, we have the same morals and values. He's selfless, and I know that he'll never hurt or betray me, because of his loyalty and values, he changed my views of men and showed me that females can act the same way as I thought they were incapable of acting… Cold and heartless, disloyal and unfaithful, prideful. I love and trust him with all my heart, and he loves and trusts me the same." She finished, no one would have ever guessed that the man-hating goddess of the hunt would have just poured her heart out to the council, and admitted that males can have high quality values…
"Love is in the air!" Aphrodite squealed, giggling.
"Never thought I'd see the day…" Was the mumbling of Hades, Apollo, and Hera.
Artemis looked at uncle Poseidon to see his reaction, she saw content and pride in his eyes, approval… He nodded to her, letting her know that she did the right thing and that he approved of her, he was proud to be her uncle.
Hestia was smiling warmly, radiating happiness.
"Well I see no issue with this, the relationship will no doubt strengthen the hunters, therefor strengthening Olympus… Who knows, maybe this will even bring Poseidon and myself to more friendly relations, and you're happy, I approve, what does everyone else think?" He asked, who would have figured the king of Olympus would have approved? He had a resigned and accepting expression, like he really was fine with it.
"Percy deserves to be happy, and they love each other, I can see it." Hestia said.
"Good eye, I can too, they really do love each other… I approve." Aphrodite commented.
"My nephew struck gold, he got me and Hestia back on the council, he more than deserves to be happy and I believe he will." Hades announced.
"If he's with the hunt, he's out of my way…" Ares said, about as close to a compliment as you could get from him.
"As long as he eats his cereal…" Demeter said.
"He chose Artemis, and I know she won't hurt him, congratulations, sister." Athena praised, earning a nod from Artemis and Percy, the later giving her a thumbs up.
"Thank you, Lady Athena." Percy thanked.
She nodded.
"I've always liked him, this is good." Hephaestus added.
"My sis is finally getting laid! Of course I'm happy, but don't you ever hurt her, Percy…" Apollo threatened.
"Better stop talking about that before you lose your ability to get 'laid.'" Artemis threatened, pointing a finger at him.
Everyone stopped their talking when Poseidon spoke: "I admit that I had my worries about Percy and Artemis, after all, the last thing I wanted to hear was that my son was stuck in the hunters camp, where they castrate, skin and torture men alive for fun…" Poseidon said, earning a frown and a huff from Artemis, as if to say: "Pfft, those are just rumors!"
Of course at that exact moment Percy crossed his arms defiantly, as if to say: "Hah! Bull-shit!"
Poseidon looked to Artemis, then continued. "But I also admit that she has exceeded my every expectation, proved every worry to be unneeded, and made Percy a very happy man. I already knew, but I'll say that I approve of their relationship, as long as she does not hurt him, and hopefully one day I'll be able to call her my daughter in law... and take my grandchildren out skiing." He finished, smiling and clapping.
Artemis blushed furiously at the last line, Percy just looked confused, thinking about how fucked up the prospect of Poseidon being Artemis's uncle, and then also being her father in law, sounded, also trying to line up the family tree, big surprise… Everyone else in the throne room clapped too, or most of them did. Hestia smiled brightly at the prospect of grandchildren, Zeus smiled at the prospect of more powerful gods on the council.
Percy was smiling by now, he concluded that his kelpheadedness was too severe, and therefor didn't allow him to be able to think as complex as that… But he did like the prospect of children, and being married to Arty, both sounded real good to him. For Percy that was real easy to think about, because it only involved one step equations…
1 + 1 = 3...
Percy looked up to see Artemis still blushing, but she was also smiling brightly, completely content and happy. She looked down at him, to see him look up at her, she mouthed a "thank you," to him and bounced her knee lightly, playfully making him grab onto her for dear life… Sigh.
"Very good, this meeting is dismissed." Zeus called, throwing his bolt at the ceiling and disappearing in a dramatic lightning show… What a drama king.
Most of the gods consecutively flashed out, nodding and sending their congrats to Artemis and Percy, wishing them the best.
Pretty soon it was just Percy, Artemis, Poseidon and Hestia left in the throne room… Hestia went off to sit by the hearth, and Artemis picked Percy up gently and walked over to Poseidon.
"Thank you, uncle." Artemis thanked him, smiling and nodding.
"You're welcome, Artemis take care of my son, he's yours now. I better not ever hear that you hurt him, or it'll be your head, and the hunt's." He threatened, and he never made idle threats.
Artemis looked scared, but she nodded her head and said: "I won't ever hurt him." She assured him.
"You better not, he's been through enough as it is… You both are always welcome in Atlantis, I must be going." He said.
"Bye dad!" Percy said.
"Goodbye, uncle." Artemis added.
"I wish you two the best, and I meant what I said about grandchildren… Bye." He commented, and he disappeared in a rush of water.
Artemis blushed bright gold at his statement, flashing her and Percy back to the hunters camp.
What a day...
A/N- So how was it? Was it anything like what you thought it would be? I hope it was good, I tried to make it good.
Thank you all for reading! Please leave reviews, I am very much looking for major event ideas for this story, also feedback and comments are very much appreciated as well!
I'm probably going to wait till Friday at the latest to post next chapter, probably be longer than these last 4… The rest of the story isn't just going to be one event every chapter, so if you were worried about that then you'll be happy to hear that it won't be like this forever.
Next chapter also gonna be a lemon, 99% chance of smut. :) Our lovers just have to have a good time after that shitty day, right?
One other thing, tip for authors: If you are using a platform like LibreOffice, or an outside office platform to write on, then upload directly into document manager and then post... You need to go back to the document and press 'save,' one more time. Why? Because when you upload a document, it shows up as 100 words less than it really is, and if you upload the chapter without first going back and pressing the save button, then it will also show up as your story being 100 words less than it should be. Always press save! Even if their is no changes to save, always smash that save button.
Please R&R fav&fol, till next time readers! Peace out!
