Theo entered the class and went to take his seat beside Blaise. As soon as he settled down, his mind raced with hundreds of thoughts. He couldn't figure it out why did he say those words to Hermione. Why was he disappointed to see her upset. Why didn't he want to make her upset. He glanced at the bushy haired girl, sitting beside Harry and Ron, who was turning the pages of the book. What was happening with him? It wasn't like she was his friend or….He mentally slapped himself for thinking such ridiculous things. He told himself that it was nothing and began writing his notes.
Meanwhile Draco was having a war in his mind too. He couldn't figure out why did Hermione save him. Why did she came for rescue? She could have just seen him getting beated after what he….they all had done to her. Apparently they did deserve it. He turned his head to look at the Gryffindor table to find Hermione saying something to Ron. After a few seconds of staring, he shook his head telling himself that he was overthinking. She would have just done it because she was the Head Girl.
Professor Binns was taking their class. Just as he closed his book as the period was going to be over soon, a boy, maybe in 6th year came outside of the class.
"Can I come in, Professor?" The boy asked to Professor Binns.
"Of course, dear" Professor gave him permission with a smile. "How may I help you?"
"Professor McGonagall wants to meet Miss Hermione Granger and Mr. Nott now"
At the name of the students, both of them looked up at the boy.
"Both of you please go and meet Professor McGonagall" The professor instructed both the Head students.
"Yes Professor" Both of them replied simultaneously.
Hermione stood up and left for McGonagall's office but Theo was still packing his books.
Hermione walked into Professor McGonagall's office and the professor offered her to take a seat.
"May I come in, professor?" Hermione turned to find that Theo had arrived.
McGonagall nodded and Theo walked in and took the vacant seat which was not too far away from where Hermione sat.
Theo side glanced at Hermione who was looking at the table. He turned his attention to the professor when she started talking.
"I have called you both here to tell you about your duties which you will perform for the entire year." She looked at both of the students and continued. "As the heads you have got the power to deduct points from the houses if someone breaks the rule or his/her behavior is inappropriate. But that doesn't mean you can misuse it. And secondly about the patrols, you have to follow the schedule which is written in the sheet of paper I'll provide you both. I hope you both won't disappoint me"
Both of the students nodded and stood up.
"Here's your schedule for the patrol" She said handing a parchment to each of them.
Both of them took the sheet from her and started reading it. Theo noticed that he had joint patrol with Hermione three days a week.
"I assume you both are ok with the schedule" McGonagall asked both the students who nodded in agreement.
"Well then I think you both can leave now" She instructed.
They both nodded and turned back. They both walked up to the door at the same time.
"Ladies first" Theo cleared the path for Hermione to walk first.
"Such a gentleman you are" Hermione said sarcastically and walked out.
Theo followed her and closed the gate behind him. Hermione turned to walk towards her class but Theo interrupted.
"Seems like we are going see each other a lot" Theo said looking at the sheet.
Hermione rolled her eyes and turned back. "Your point being?"
"So you are telling that you are not at all amused at that thought?" Theo narrowed his eyes grinning.
"Why the hell will I be amused?" Hermione asked him.
"Oh come on, Granger. You are one of the luckiest girls on this planet because you are getting to spend time with me and that too at night." Theo said matter of factly. "Most of the girls will give anything to be you right now"
"Tell me Nott, how do sleep with such a big head of yours?" Hermione asked crossing her hands on her chest.
Theo laughed at that comment. That girl really knew how to come with a comeback. "Why, thank you, Granger?"
"You are pathetic!" Hermione shook her head and walked away.
Theo starred at her as she walked away. He groaned when he realized that he was staring at her. He turned back to walk to his class. He really was going insane.
In the Slytherin Dormitory
Everyone entered the dorm after the classes got over. Each one of them was excited for their party. It was still four hours left for that. Pansy practically ran towards her female group. They all gathered in a circle and whispered something before walking towards their rooms.
"Where are you all going now?" Blaise called out to Pansy.
"To dress up" Pansy replied.
"But it's still so much time left" He looked at the watch and said.
"No, it isn't" She replied and slammed the door shut.
"Girls are ridiculous" Blaise shook his head rolling his eyes.
All the three friends started talking about their dates and plans about the party. But they were unaware that someone was watching it.
Apparently, Adrian was watching the gang with fury in his eyes. He hadn't got over the fight thing.
"They are going to pay for what they did today" He said to his friend Tracey Davis. "Each one of them especially Malfoy"
"What are you planning to do?" Tracey asked his friend.
"You'll come to know soon" He replied in a cold voice still watching them.
Adrian was going to make sure that each one of them suffers. Everyone who made him embarrass. And he had the perfect plan for that. He smirked at the thought.
Time passed away and soon everyone went to dress up for the party.
In the Slytherin Party
The party had officially started which everyone was waiting for. The common room was decorated basically everything with green. They were drinks, not butterbeer of course. They had fire whiskey instead because they were Slytherins, what less do you expect?
Draco entered wearing a black suit. Mostly every boy there was wearing black suit and girls were wearing black or green gowns. He spotted his friends and walked up to them. They started talking about the party. Just after a few minutes someone cleared his throat and everyone turned to face the person.
"Attention everyone" It was Adrian. "To make this part more interesting, let's play a game, shall we? Who's up for Truth and Dare?"
Everyone cheered as a signal for 'yes' except Draco and Company.
"What's that shank up to?" Theo asked.
"I don't have any fucking idea" Blaise replied.
Draco stared at Adrian to figure out what was he up to.
"Come on guys, it's just a game" Pansy said and dragged them to go and play.
"Ok so gather in a circle" Adrian instructed and everyone followed. "I think everyone knows the rules. We'll spin a bottle and if the front side pointed you then you have to take either truth or dare. And the person on whom the other side will point, will ask the question or give the dare to the other. So let's start"
"Here we go" He said spinning the bottle. The bottle started spinning and came to halt after rotating for a few seconds. It pointed towards a fellow slytherin.
"Truth or dare?" The girl asked, who was supposed to ask the question.
"Truth"
"What is the craziest place you had sex?" The girl asked. Everyone made a 'whoo' sound.
The boy grinned. "Bathroom floor"
Everyone looked surprised.
"Ok let's move on" Adrian said spinning the bottle once more.
This time, it pointed towards Theo and Tracey was supposed to ask the question.
"Truth or dare?"
"Truth" Theo replied after thinking for a few seconds.
"Where is your girlfriend Nott?" Tracey asked smirking and the room fell silent.
The question surprised Theo. A millions of memory came rushing to his mind.
"Did she find someone else? Tracey asked knowing that he had touched a nerve. "Or is she dead?"
Theo wanted to bit the living shit out of the boy in front of him but he suppressed the urge.
"I'm done with this game" Theo said turning back and storming out of the dorm.
Draco and Blaise looked furiously at the Tracey.
Adrian was enjoying the show but he wasn't satisfied yet.
"Moving on" He said spinning the bottle.
This time everyone gasped at the outcome. The bottle pointed at Draco and Adrian was the one who was supposed to ask him the question. Adrian smirked at that. His plan was working.
"Truth or dare, Malfoy?" Adrian asked grinning.
Draco thought for a while. He clearly didn't want to share his personal things with everyone.
"Dare" Draco replied.
Adrian smirked at that. "I dare you to make Hermione Granger fall in love with you and when she will, then you need to dump her"
Everyone gasped at that. Even Draco didn't see that coming. It was obvious that Adrian was taking revenge. But of course Draco wasn't going to do that.
"No, Draco don't do that" Pansy said to the Slytherin Prince.
"Afraid Malfoy?" Adrian asked. "What happened? Scared that she won't fall for a death eater? Daddy isn't here to save you this time?"
Draco clenched his jaw at the mention of his father. He was going to show this bastard that he can do anything. After all, Malfoys don't lose.
"Fine, Pucey. But on one condition. You won't say a word about this Theo. He doesn't like all this" Pansy looked at him in shock and so did everyone.
"You have my word" Adrian nodded. Now he was satisfied. Now he can make Draco, Hermione and Pansy suffer at the same time.
Pansy sobbed at Draco's decision. Blaise hugged her.
"Don't worry, Pansy" Draco assured her. "It's just a dare. I'll make Granger fall in love with me and when she will, just with a snap of my fingers poof, I'll end it."
"Let the game begin then" Adrian said raising his drink.
