Total Drama All Stars: Divergence (on hiatus until end of summer)

Chris McLean has been released from prison and is back for another season of Total Drama. Along with Chef Hatchet, he gathers his 26 favorite contestants to put through torture via challenges. It's heroes versus villains, but it's not as clear as that all the time with drama being stirred up on both teams. The question, as always, is who will come out on top and who will fail?

7. No One Eggspects the Spanish Opposition

AN: Welcome back. Didn't update last week because I needed a break and also spent a lot of time just playing Persona 5 Royal. I do now have a level 99 Arsene with max stats though so there's that. Anyways, here's the newest chapter and I hope you enjoy.

Chapter Seven: No One Eggspects The Spanish Opposition

"Welcome back again to Total Drama All Stars. Last time we found our contestants in a good old fashioned race through the woods while chased by rabid animals. Heh, good times," Chris welcomed with an evil smirk as he relaxed on a beach chair next to the water and was drinking a smoothie, "Some great drama was made, from Heather and Alejandro fighting, to Dawn going crazy under the effects of the moon, and Gwen throwing the game to save Courtney." Clips of moments of these events are shown and Chris claps.

"Which caused Gwen to take the flusher. Gotta love twist eliminations," Chris smirked as the clip of Gwen getting flushed down the Flush of Shame is shown and Courtney staring at it afterwards.

"Who is gonna be eliminated today? Will Ezekiel not get eliminated yet again? I bet he's gone soon." Chris whispered to the camera and then the camera backed up a bit as Chris stood up.

"Find out today, here on Total Drama All Stars!" Chris finished the introduction as Chef is seen grabbing the beach chair.

"Now I need to set up that danged challenge again." Chef grumbled as he walked off as Chris raised his hand.

"Actually Chef, we'll do that next time. I think today is time for the special treat I have planned." Chris chuckled darkly and Chef dropped the wood he was carrying as Chris just sipped on his smoothie as the theme song started.

Dear Mom and Dad I'm doin' fine,

The camera shows four spotlights popping out of the trees, with one pushing out with toilet paper on top of it, as well as one pushing out soap along with it. The camera then zooms through the camp, past a squirrel, the confessional, the bathrooms, and the two cabins, the Spa Hotel, and the old one from the original season. Chris is seen with an ankle bracelet on his ankle as Chef takes it off as Chris holds up the million dollars as the camera dives into the shark infested waters beneaths the cliff.

You guys are on my mind.

Owen is once again seen swimming under the water, this time along with Scott, as both of them try to outswim a pursuing Fang, the mutated shark, with a terrified Cameron hanging onto the shark.

You asked me what I wanted to be

Brick is then shown helping Cameron off the shark's back and pulls him onto a raft as, also on the raft, Dawn calms the angered mutant shark as Owen and Scott are laying on the beach, out of breath.

And now I think the answer is plain to see,

The camera then pans to the woods with DJ sitting with Sasquatchanakwa, meditating peacefully, when a mist of hair spray gets into their eyes, making the two meditators run to get the spray out of their eyes, which the pans to show Anne Maria spraying her hair, which is snatched away by Eva, who crushes it with one hand.

I wanna be famous.

Lightning is seen nearby racing against Jo and as Lightning gets a small bit ahead, Jo tackles the jock. Duncan is seen laughing at the situation, to which Gwen smiles slightly as Courtney growls at her ex for laughing at all.

I wanna live close to the sun,

Harold swings by the tackled Lightning on a vine with Izzy on a vine as well as she throws a knife at Harold's vine, causing him to fall and get caught by Leshawna. Leshawna rolls her eyes as she pecks his cheek as Izzy jumps from her vine onto an unassuming Ezekiel, knocking him to the ground.

Go pack your bags, 'cause I've already won,

Justin knocks on the confessional door nearby as Lindsay pokes her head out and looks confused before reclosing the door, much to Justin's annoyance. Alejandro pats the handsome teen's back and shakes his head as Heather narrows her eyes at Alejandro nearby.

Everything to prove, nothing in my way

The camera pans to Noah reading a book at the Spa Hotel when he suddenly slams it shut and glares at a kissing Mike and Zoey, who shrug, not seeing the problem as Noah marches off. As Noah marches off, Cody pokes his head out from behind a vase as Sierra snatches him up and carries him off to unknown places.

I'll get there one day.

The camera then pans to the beach, with Courtney chasing Gwen with a baseball bat as Owen tries to stop the situation from escalating as Noah just smirks at the sight and is knocked to the ground by Sierra running with Cody in his clutches, dropping the boy, who scrambles away from his obsessed stalker.

Cause, I wanna be famous!

The Drama Machine grabs Courtney to stop her from assaulting Gwen, to which a nearby Alejandro shudders at the sight of the machine as Justin mockingly pats him on the back and Heather looks at the machine in guilt.

Na na na na na na na na na na na na na na na!

Lindsay is seen trying Beth's flaming baton routine, but immediately drops them to the ground as Dawn tries to instruct her and demonstrates the routine to her. Lindsay claps at the example Dawn gives as Eva walks past the two, as with DJ, Lightning and Jo, toss Anne Maria into the lake along with all her hair spray. DJ looks especially annoyed with his eyes still stinging.

Ezekiel is seen strumming a guitar as Scott tries to play the theme song on a banjo, to a worse attempt than Ezekiel. Harold is seen beatboxing the theme as Brick plays it on a kazoo as Leshawna looks at the four 'musicians' with a deadpan expression.

I wanna be, I wanna be, I wanna be famous

The song finishes with all contestants around the campfire, with Mike and Zoey going in for a kiss when Chris pops up behind them and smiles at the camera, making Mike and Zoey look away from Chris as Chef drags Chris back from the two campers. The campers then finish off the intro by whistling the theme.

The camera then cuts back to Harold putting on his detective hat and then takes it off and finds his hair now covered in ants and Harold runs around screaming from it. The camera then cuts to Duncan at the same time getting dressed and as he puts his shirt on, he feels something on it after he puts it on. He quickly takes it off and find his body now covered in red marks and Duncan checks his shirt and finds a bunch of miniscule splinters on there.

Confessional:

"Izzy!" Duncan and Harold both yell in realization as their confessionals are played side by side.

End Confessional:

Izzy is then seen sleeping in her bed as Leshawna tries to prod her to wake up. Izzy then yawns and wakes up and jumps up and grabs the ceiling.

"Woo! I feel great!" Izzy then lost her grip on the ceiling and her makeshift bandage is seen worn and torn and Izzy chuckles nervously.

"Girl, you should get that injury checked out." Leshawna tells her and Izzy shrugs.

"Eh, I've been hurt worse. Wanna see the scar on my butt?" Izzy offered and Leshawna covered her eyes before Izzy could show her.

"Girl, learn so common decency." Leshawna states as Izzy pulls back up her skirt and shrugs.

"Meh." Izzy seems to brush off the idea as she backflips out of the room and crashes into the wall. Izzy then chuckles nervously as she stands up and walks off and walks by Harold, who gives a glare which she shrugs off, not thinking of it as anything.

Meanwhile on Boney Island, Mike has his hair over one eye as an indicator of it being Mal still as his presence scares every animal off and Mal doesn't seem to care much as he walks up to the wall that Leshawna had found previously but he notices nearby a small hole in it, where mutant squirrels were running in and out of. Mal then grabbed one of the squirrels.

"Either make a bigger hole or lead me to the entrance." Mal threatened the squirrel who immediately shot at the wall and made a bigger hole that Mal slipped into and he looked around and saw some radioactive substances as mutant animals were acting like just regular animals, but with some extra features. Mal then set down the squirrel and pat its head as it walked off.

Confessional:

"Hey, I'm not going to perform animal cruelty. They're not ones that deserve it." Mal crossed his arms with a scowl.

End Confessional:

Mal proceeded further into the enclosement and avoided the animals as much as he could. He did not need to be chased by crazed animals with powers like laser eyes.

"Where is that damned immunity idol? Since Mike isn't in control and I get to be here, I need to have some form of damage control for whenever those foolish enough to try to eliminate me do so." Mal talked to himself as he approached a cliff and saw some flying and fire breathing goats tugging back and forth at the immunity idol and Mal growled when he saw this.

"Are you kidding me?" Mal seemed annoyed that this was where the idol was as one of the goats snatched the idol and then flew into the sky, leaving Mal with no way to retrieve the idol at the moment.

The camera then cuts away to some interns filling in the hole made by Mal, unknowing that he was still inside as Chef supervised them to make sure they didn't mess up.

Confessional:

"Now I need to find any of the mutants that escaped the enclosure. Hopefully this won't take long as I still need to pick up the scrawny boy off the island." Chef crossed his arms with a huff.

End Confessional:

As Mal decided to leave the goats for now, knowing he had no way to get the flying and fire breathing goat, he stumbled across a sleeping Fang, who had not yet noticed him. Mal gulped as he saw the sharp teeth and tried to walk away quietly but stepped on a twig and Fang's eyes shot open and snarled at Mal, who started swearing as he started running with Fang chasing close behind. Mal keeps running until he reaches a giant door where Chef is seen walking in with some mutant squirrels by their tails that got out. Chef then sees Mal running from Fang and shoots two elephant tranquilizers at the shark.

"You're lucky I was coming in here maggot. I did not want to deal with another shark mauling." Chef grumbled as Mal scoffed at this as he saw the shark on the ground and as Chef looked away to let the squirrels go, Mal bent down next to the shark and yanked loose the tooth Fang had lost before as it had been loosely reconnected. Fang didn't wake up from this and Chef didn't notice as Mal pocketed the tooth before he followed Chef out of the mutant holding area.

The camera then transitions to show Scott eating gruel as he sits next to Ezekiel, who is eating hesitantly.

"If you don't want the gruel, then I'll gladly eat it." Scott offered and Ezekiel shook his head.

"Chef probably won't give more if I don't eat, eh." Ezekiel explained as he stomached down the food with a thoughtful look on his face as he sighed and turned to Scott.

"Guess us farm boys always get the short end of the stick, heh. You with Fang and me with… the whole feral thing." Ezekiel lamented and Scott shrugged.

"Doesn't mean we give up though. They push us hard, we push them into cow manure." Scott chuckled and Ezekiel gave a small laugh.

"Ain't that true. They probably couldn't stand the smell of it." Ezekiel claimed as Justin walked out of the cabin and looked at them.

"Couldn't stand the smell of what?" Justin questioned the two.

"Cow manure." They both replied and Justin immediately pinched his nose to prevent smell.

"Pfft pathetic. If you think that's the worst smelling thing on a farm, you have met my grandpappy." Scott proclaimed and Justin gagged before walking off.

"I bet my dad has a worse smell." Ezekiel told Scott who shook his head.

"No way! My grandpappy must smell worse." Scott refused to believe as Sierra sat down next to them and shook her head.

"My grandma smells worse guaranteed." Sierra added in and Ezekiel and Scott both gave a surprised look and Sierra shrugged.

"Not possible unless you grew up on a farm." Scott tried to retort and Sierra cracked her knuckles.

"How do you think I got so strong? We were lucky and had access to the internet which did make some parts of life easier… and when we first got it… me and my mom kinda both started obsessing about stuff we saw at first, one of the first shows I ever saw was Total Drama." Sierra sheepishly admitted.

Confessional:

"Well that admits a bit why she's an obsessed nutcase for Total Drama." Scott states simply as he picks at a tooth of his.

End Confessional:

"Sierra we were talking about a bit how us farm folk get bad stuff happening to us, eh. That includes you with the whole plane explosion thing." Ezekiel commented and Sierra nodded.

"The only contestant to be from the farm like us and not get severely injured is Beth, but she did get arrested in Paris with Lindsay that one time." Sierra added and Scott smirked to himself.

Confessional:

"So I know Sierra and Ezekiel both don't really have any allies and I am in the same boat. So hopefully they work with me. Besides, Sierra can really hack a loogie far. She even beat my pa in distance." Scott looked somewhat impressed at this.

End Confessional:

"Do I even want to know why Sierra, Scott and Zeke are hacking loogies?" Heather asked as she was brushing her hair.

"Probably not. I mean, consider who it is. It's shark meat, freakshow, and stalker." Jo shrugged as she looked bored.

"And you're a washup who isn't going to even get to the merge." Heather scoffed as Jo threw a sock into her hair and Heather growled at her in anger as Eva walked in and chuckled at Heather having a sock on her head.

"You both think this is so funny don't you?" Heather was mad at both of them and Eva nodded.

"I could do worse than that you know. Don't think I didn't rewatch the first season and saw you steal my MP3." Eva growled in a threatening tone and Heather gulped as Eva picked Heather up and threw her out the window to get some anger out and Jo clapped at this.

"Oh that was satisfying to see." Jo seemed content and Eva grabbed her arm and lifted Jo up into the air.

"If you keep up your attitude, you're gonna go out that window and off the show." Eva threatened and Jo actually could feel slightly scared of Eva more than anyone else.

Confessional:

"I'll still honor my agreement to vote for Heather with Jo if she screws up, but if Jo screws up first she's dead… I mean voted off." Eva amended emotionlessly.

End Confessional:

The camera then cuts to DJ walking into the dining room in the Spa Hotel where he sees Dawn eating a salad by herself as it was later than most people usually ate.

"Hey Dawn." DJ greeted and Dawn looked up and smiled at him.

"Oh hello. Oh no…" Dawn realized something as she looked at DJ "I forgot to start working to get rid of your animal curse. I had simply forgotten given the events going on. I apologize deeply."

"Oh yeah, I forgot you said you'd work to get rid of it. I didn't even come in here about that, I just came here to eat in peace while Leshawna is yelling at Izzy, Harold and Duncan for trashing the entrance to the Spa Hotel with pranks this morning. They apparently even put Owen out of commission with the pranks they set up." DJ nervously chuckled at the situation and Dawn sighed.

"Izzy's chaotic nature noticed their original pranking of each other, which their auras used to calm themselves from their rivalry and insults, and Izzy just inserted herself into the situation which caused things to devolve into what you said happened. I thought she'd be the one to know better than to do that." Dawn shook her head in exasperation as DJ sat down and got some food for himself.

"To me that sounds exactly like Izzy." DJ said and Dawn nodded at this.

"It is, but even still as she is also more connected to nature than most, she does need to calm down a bit when interacting with others." Dawn sighed in defeat and DJ nodded slightly.

"But it is Izzy. It's just who she is." DJ defended the craziness surprisingly.

"That's true. Her aura is quite eccentric yet beautiful at the same time." Dawn stated in observation and DJ shrugged.

"Anyways, you said about removing my curse?" DJ changed the topic as Dawn smiled at him and as she started explaining how she would do it, the camera cut away to Leshawna glaring at Harold, who was covered in feathers and honey, Duncan, who had burn marks on his arms and clothes, and Izzy, who had her hair all over the place and Leshawna had to cover her up in a blanket due to her clothes having been burnt off and Izzy also had some burn marks on her face.

"So you're telling me that even though I said I'd give a blind eye if it didn't turn back to how you behaved in season one, you both went further with the pranks than before? And somehow got Izzy involved in this!" Leshawna yelled and Noah, Owen and Alejandro are seen nearby watching the yelling go on as Courtney approaches them.

"What did those bozos do?" Courtney questions as she looks at the Spa Hotel entrance, which has burn marks, Izzy shaped holes, honey, feathers, and paint everywhere.

"It seems some form of prank went off. It was quite a spectacle to observe." Alejandro commented and Owen nervously laughs.

"I didn't know this was what Izzy wanted all that honey for." Owen says nervously and Noah rolls his eyes.

"I'm not even surprised. Harold and Duncan have been pranking each other a bunch this season, and as soon as Izzy gets involved, and I say this as a friend of hers, things get batshit insane." Noah bluntly stated and Owen chuckled a little and nodded.

"Iz can be…" Owen looked around, "a bit crazy. But she's still very lovely."
"Don't give me any of that bullshit you three!" Leshawna is heard yelling and Courtney covers her ears.

"Seems like she's very mad." Courtney commented and the three boys nodded, Noah and Alejandro finally agreeing on something for once.

"We… I didn't mean for it to get like this." Harold weakly protested and Leshawna glared at him.

"Eh, I couldn't care less." Duncan shrugged and Leshawna's hand curled into a fist.

"It was fun!" Izzy loudly giggled at the scene and Leshawna dropped her fist and grabbed Izzy's injured hand and saw that there was honey, feathers and burn marks around it and it looked to be getting infected now.

"Ok you're coming with me to see Chef to get that injury checked out while these two clean up their mess." Leshawna said and Harold and Duncan looked ready to protest but Leshawna glared at them and shut them up, not wanting to invoke her wrath further.

"Why not just have the interns do it?" Alejandro questioned to himself as Leshawna dragged Izzy off to see Chef. To this, Owen and Noah just shrugged and Courtney walked off as Duncan and Harold went to get cleaned up first.

Meanwhile, Brick was running around the camp with Cameron on his back, with Cameron panting for breath.

"Are you sure I'm not too heavy?" Cameron asked as Brick kept running.

"Not at all. It does give me a good workout." Brick stated as he kept Cameron up on his back as he kept running as he ran past Eva and Jo, of whom Jo scowled at Brick as he passed by.

"What is your issue?" Eva scoffed as she kept walking as Jo stared at Brick.

"He thinks he's so much better doesn't he?" Jo whispered to herself in anger as she followed Eva to the mess hall to get some food.

Confessional:

"That was definitely an interesting experience, being run around to be used as additional exercise equipment. At least afterwards, Brick offered to help me learn how to exercise on my own." Cameron nodded as he stood up and tried to do a jumping jack but accidentally did a split and squealed in pain.

End Confessional:

As Duncan and Harold are cleaning the Spa Hotel, Chris walks by and watches with a smirk.

"Oh buzz off." Duncan throws a sponge at Chris, who just moves to the side for it to miss.

"Thanks for cleaning my property. Always nice to see some volunteers." Chris mocks the two and Duncan's eye twitches as Chris walks away.

"It is your fault this happened? If you didn't get pranked too, this wouldn't have happened." Duncan poked Harold's chest and Harold scowled and just kept cleaning, ignoring Duncan's instigation which made Duncan scowl but continue cleaning as Cody walked outside and looked at them in confusion.

"Should I even ask?" Cody wondered and Duncan held up a fist and Cody decided to just keep walking. Cody is then seen walking to the confessional when he spots Dawn and DJ in the woods and Cody, intrigued, goes to see what they were doing.
"So you're sure this will get rid of my curse?" DJ asked as Dawn set down some stones and leaves she carried in her arms.

"It should. I do need some time to set it up, but I should have it done by sunset tonight even if we have a challenge today so by tonight your animal curse should be lifted." Dawn assured DJ who sighed in relief.

"I couldn't bare going another day hurting more animals. They don't deserve it." DJ shakes his head and Dawn nods in agreement.

"Your compassion for the animals that have been hurt is truly a testament to who you are, as your aura shows me clearly as well." Dawn smiles and DJ looks pleased by her assessment.

"Hey it is nice to meet someone else who cares for animals as much as me." DJ smiled back and Cody looked on and focused his gaze on Dawn.

Confessional:

"Ok so I'm thinking a bit strategically here, but it seems as if Dawn has made friends with a lot of people on the team, except me, Leshawna and Harold and maybe Cameron and Brick but I'm unsure about those two but it's likely they are her friends too. She has a lot of people in her camp to get her far. Then there's Mal… I'm unsure about how to approach that can of worms. But if I want to stay in the game, then I need to start playing it better. God, maybe I spent too much time around Heather and Alejandro on the plane. We were the final three after all." Cody seemed thoughtful and put his fist to his chin as he rested it down.

End Confessional:

As Cody exited the confessional, Heather was standing there with a grin on her face and Cody groaned.

"What's up?" Cody asked and Heather rolled her eyes.

"You're not exactly the most quiet and you're right that you're outnumbered. So I'll help you deal with that numbers advantage for you helping me get back at Alejandro for taking off that tinfoil hat last challenge. My head still hurts and I swear I can still hear preppy music in my head." Heather offered and Cody looked contemplative.

"What if Alejandro finds out and gets revenge on me?" Cody seemed very unsure and Heather laughed.

"Do you want to take your chances and lose to Dawn's gang?" Heather taunted and Cody bit his lip.

"Fine, what should I do for the numbers advantage?" Cody asked and as Heather started explaining, the camera turned to show a figure in the shadows listening to their entire conversation, their entire self veiled in the shadows of the woods.

The camera then cuts to Mal and Chef arriving back at the docks with Chris standing there, tapping his foot impatiently.

"What took you so long? You didn't get back by the time I was gonna pull the gag to shove Mal back onto the ship to head to the challenge." Chris complained and Mal rolled his eyes at the obvious attempt at a joke. He knew from his knowledge and using of Mike's memories that Chris was worse than most people he grew up around and that was an accomplishment.

"Just announce the dang challenge now then. I had to deal with getting some mutants back into that damned containment." Chef barked out and Chris shrugged.

"Whatever. Let me just announce it real quick." Chris walked off to go announce the challenge as Mal just stood there watching.

"This seems very dysfunctional." Mal sarcastically commented and Chef shoved him into the water, making Mal just annoyed as he swam out of the water.

"Campers! It's challenge time. Please report to the docks pronto. And no bathing suits are needed for this challenge." Chris announced over the loudspeakers as Mal took off his shirt and wringed it out and glared at Chef.

Confessional:

"So I already have crossed Zoey off my hit list, so now it's time to go for the others, which now includes those two damned hosts. They all remind me too much of… grrr." Mal growled at the end as he failed to finish his sentence coherently.

End Confessional:

Soon everyone was on the docks, with Mal now standing with his team, with Dawn looking at him with a sad expression as she whispered and kissed some trinket she had. Harold and Duncan both looked a bit tired from the cleaning earlier and now Izzy had a wrapped up hand that she was trying and failing to tear off. The villains seemed more calm, even though Heather kept shooting glares at Alejandro, who just kept winking at every other girl, making Justin scowl.

"All aboard!" Chris called out as he walked onto the Boat of Losers and Chef growled as he went to get to the cabin to steer the boat. Everyone piled onto the boat and winced as it croaked and went a bit lower in the water.

"If we sink, blame Owen." Heather immediately blamed and Izzy snapped her teeth at Heather, making her pull her hands back.

"No thanks, I don't want rabies." Heather eyed Izzy with caution, who just cackled.

"Where are we even going?" Cody spoke up with a nervous glance to Alejandro, who did not notice it.

"My guess, Boney Island." Leshawna crossed her arms and Noah nodded.

"He is demented enough to throw us there for exile just to make us do a challenge there." Noah agreed and Chris rolled his head.

"Remind me next time to not plan a fun idea for you all." Chris complained and Mal scoffed.

"Your idea of fun is throwing teens into a radioactive cave set to explode. So don't mind us if we complain." Mal snarked and Noah snorted at this direct callout from Mike, aka Mal.

"Or making us have a finale on an active volcano." Alejandro snarled out, directly glaring at Heather, who avoided his gaze.

"Or…" Noah was about to continue and Chris held up his hand.

"Ok fine I get it. But do you want something fun or do you want me to have Chef hunt you all down?" Chris fired back and Chef waved evilly from the captain's cabin and many gulped.

Confessional:

"Psychopath Chris McLean or crazed, veteran, battle-hungry, knife wielding Chef Hatchet? Honestly, I'd still prefer Chef." Leshawna admitted to the confessional

End Confessional:

"Oh oh, if Cheffy boy hunts us down, can I fight him?" Izzy asks her team and Cameron shudders.

"Remind me to not be around if those two do fight." Cameron whispers to Mal, who Cameron thinks is Mike, and Mal nods, unsure himself what would happen.

"I do wonder who would win." Mal admits to Cameron, who shudders at the thought of Izzy winning against Chef.

"Note for future challenge, have Chef do another challenge." Chris whispered to himself but was kicked in the shin by Duncan, who overheard him.

"Fuck off." Duncan grumbled, still annoyed by the prank earlier as he touched a small burn mark on his arm and barely winced.

Confessional:

"You know, I really want to see the prank that happened earlier." Chris noted out as the camera panned out to show Chef sitting next to him.

"Apparently crazy girl blew up the cameras nearby that would have a good view of the prank." Chef gruffly stated and Chris snapped his fingers in defeat at not being able to show it.

End Confessional:

"Why are we going to Boney Island?" Owen spoke up to ask and Leshawna groaned.

"I think I know." Leshawna shook her head as Chris chuckled evilly.

"Oh you'll see soon enough." Chris cackled and Noah looked tempted to bang his head against the ship.

"You know when he laughs like that, I get kinda scared." Owen whispered to Brick, who hummed in acknowledgement but kept his eyes on 'Mike' as well as Dawn as he bit his lip and shook his head.

Confessional:

"I know Noah said to leave the situation to him during that previous challenge… but Mike's stance and demeanor seems to have significantly shifted now. I keep seeing him even glare at Cameron from time to time. I know the trooper and he would never glare at his best friend." Brick noted to himself and crossed his arms with a determined look.

End Confessional:

Courtney is at the front of the ship and is the first to see through the fog at Boney Island and is thus the first to see the giant containment walls at the island and Noah, DJ and Ezekiel are stunned by this when they reach the shore.

"Ok how did we not see that before?" Noah stated as they got off the Boat of Losers.

"I think we were brought to the other side of the island where it isn't visible." DJ tried to give an explanation and Ezekiel shrugged, not knowing as well.

"Was it built recently?" Courtney pondered as Chris stepped off the boat last with Chef.

"Nope. You guys are just blind as bats." Chris insulted and Izzy growled but held back due to her injury.

"We better not have lost any interns in there." Chef grumbled as they walked towards the walls that held mutants and as Dawn went to follow she suddenly stopped behind everyone and grasped her head in pain.

"Hgggh." Dawn groaned in pain as she watched everyone walk away, even Noah who was at the front of the pack. The only one left to see her in pain was Mal, who walked up to her, knowing everyone was far ahead and grabbed her wrist of the hand grasping her head and lifted her up.

"The Malevolent One." Dawn weakly got out as her eyes lost focus for a moment but she shook her head and refocused on Mal.

"Is that really what I'm known as? Ah but of course you would call me that, after all you have those 'aura' powers," Mal spat out as he dropped her on the sand, "But how about you don't judge a book by it's cover, especially a cover made by someone else."

"A cover… by someone else?" Dawn asked in confusion as Mal actually helped her up and Dawn hesitantly accepted his help.

"I don't have any plans for you, don't worry. So long as you don't try to hurt us." Mal warned and Dawn bit her lip and nodded as Mal looked at the walls in the distance.

"Reminds me of our mind… what with Mike imprisoning me away and all." Mal casually mentioned and Dawn's eyes widened in shock.

Confessional:

"I had known the Malevolent… Mal to have been a danger to Mike based on Mike's aura and all… but Mal's aura itself… is very different from what I expected." Dawn looked unsure as she talked to the camera.

End Confessional:

Dawn watched as Mal walked off to rejoin the rest of the contestants as Dawn grasped her head again and had a pained look on her face.

"Is this because… of the Blue Harvest Moon?" Dawn winces in pain as she walks to catch up with everybody. Soon enough she catches up and nobody noticed her absence as she stands behind Owen as Chris begins to explain the challenge outside of the walls.

"So who is ready for the Fun Zone?" Chris asks as he holds up a remote to open the doors and crickets are heard chirping during the silence and Chris opens the door and ignores the contestants and Dawn immediately gasps in shock as they enter to see radioactive waste and mutant animals everywhere. Everyone else looks very put off by this.

"You better not let Fang anywhere near me!" Scott yelled in fear as he ducked behind Jo, who scoffed and shoved him to the ground and Ezekiel helped him to his feet.

"Sadly Fang had to be tranquilized before we came here today, so none of our favorite shark and food duo today." Chris darkly chuckles as Scott gulps in fear.

"I thought the government was overlooking all the mutant animals and trying to return them to normal?" Cameron spoke up, questioning the whole situation.

"I was able to convince them to let me have them for the season." Chris smiled and Noah raised an eyebrow.

"Aren't you on parole?" Noah questioned and Chris shrugged.

"Hey, nothing a little bribery can't solve." Chris casually mentions and Mal scoffs at this as Chris continues.

"Today's challenge will have you campers running throughout the Fun Zone and collecting mutant animal eggs." Chris revealed and DJ and Dawn both looked really mad at this. No one else seemed pleased with this either, even Heather and Jo.

"Your team will need to collect ten total eggs and put them in these baskets." Chris continued and motioned to two large baskets, a red one for the Villainous Vultures and a yellow one for the Heroic Hawks." Chris informed and Owen raised a hand and Chris shook his head, "No Owen, you can't turn the eggs into an omelet afterwards."

"Actually I was going to ask, what if an egg hatches? Though now I want an omelet." Owen rubbed his stomach in hunger and Noah raised an eyebrow, impressed by Owen's question.

"Then you have to find a new egg. Mostly to make you suffer, but also because I don't want anyone to get attached to any hatched mutants because the government will have the mutants in their possession again after the show and I am not letting people like Sierra or Izzy take home a mutant." Chris shuddered at the thought and Izzy pouted at this revelation.

"Sierra'd probably name it Cody Junior." Cody whispered to Harold, who nodded in agreement.

"Well what are you all standing around here for, go get some mutant eggs!" Chris called out and the teams started running off in different directions, with Dawn glaring at Chris the whole time as they left the entrance clearing.

"Wonder if they'll find the immunity idol today." Chris pondered to Chef who shrugged as he went off somewhere for a moment and came back with two beach chairs.

"Welp, let's watch this unfold outside. I don't think some of the mutants are overly fond of me." Chris nervously chuckles as the two hosts walk out of the Fun Zone as the camera cuts to the heroes all stopping after Izzy raises a hand and sniffs the air.

"There're many eggs that I can smell but they're far from each other. Well… see you later." Izzy launched into the trees as she went off the same way they had been going.

"Splitting up here would be the smartest move as if we spent all the time together or tried to protect eggs as we all collected them, we would be slower than if we all moved in smaller groups." Harold explained and Leshawna slung him over her shoulders.

"Scrawny boy, then you're coming with me for this. Everyone else, pair off." Leshawna started walking off with Harold over her shoulder.

"Hey Mike do you want to…" Cameron turned to ask his friend but Mal was nowhere to be seen.

"I'll go with you Cameron. And maybe Mike will have already gotten an egg when we meet up with him." Brick volunteered and Cameron nodded as the two headed off on their own.

"DJ, my man, wanna join up?" Cody tried to seem cool and rested against a tree but fell to the ground with a thud as DJ shook his head in exasperation and helped Cody up.

"Sure dude." DJ agreed as he and Cody went off on their own, leaving just Owen, Noah and Dawn as the final group.

"Woo! We got this!" Owen cheered and Dawn shuddered as she looked around.

"The animals here don't deserve the misery of this giant cage." Dawn looked upset and Noah sighed as he grabbed her hand.

"Hey, we won't hurt them while we're here and as Chris said, the government is trying to help these animals. Too bad bribery works too well." Noah reassured her and Dawn weakly nodded.

"Uh hey is that a…" Owen pointed to the sky and saw some winged goat shooting fire at each other while one held the immunity idol.

"ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME MCLEAN?!" Noah yelled as he tugged at his hair in annoyance and Owen nervously chuckled as Dawn shook her head.

"Let's focus on helping our team first, then the immunity." Dawn told the two guys and they both nodded, but Noah made a note in his head that the flying, fire breathing goats had the idol.

Confessional:

"Are the goats wanting to eat the Chris head? Would the wood taste good?" Owen pondered as his stomach growled.

End Confessional:

The camera then shows the villains hiding behind some trees as lasers fire at them and Duncan peeks his head out but is hit on the shoulder by a laser from a squirrel.

"Ok I may not be a dweeb like Harold, but I know for damned sure squirrels should not shoot lasers." Duncan said quickly as the squirrels kept shooting the trees.

"Let me try something." Justin volunteered and walked out and tried to wink at the squirrels to stop them from firing but only a few squirrels stopped and were infatuated as other squirrels got more angry and shot Justin hard back into Eva, who caught him and Justin coughed.

"Ok so my looks don't work as well on animals anymore." Justin wheezed out as Eva put him down and she cracked her neck.

"Someone give me some ammo." Eva ordered and Ezekiel handed her some pinecones he grabbed off the ground quickly.

"Is it really a good idea to hurt the animals?" Sierra asked as Eva ignored her and focused on the squirrels and Courtney looked between the squirrels and Eva and noticed the squirrels ready to shoot the pinecones out of her hands. Courtney then ran out of cover and waved her arms.

"Hey you dumb mutants, shoot an easy target!" Courtney shouted and the squirrels turned their attention to her and started shooting her as she dove to the ground to avoid the first round of lasers and as the squirrels went to shoot again, they all got hit to the ground by a bunch of pinecones courtesy of Eva. Courtney then sighed in relief as she got up and brushed herself off.

"Wow, miss BITCH actually didn't whine for once." Heather mocked and Courtney glared at her.

"I didn't see you do anything, miss preppy girl." Courtney taunted back and Heather snarled before storming off alone.

"Should we go after her, eh?" Ezekiel asked and Alejandro rolled his eyes.

"She's just being moody. We need to focus on the challenge rather than retrieving Heather." Alejandro brushes off and Duncan scoffs.

"Yeah, like you're one to talk when you took that tinfoil hat off her head and made her moody. If anything, you need to go after her." Duncan pokes Alejandro in the chest and Alejandro crosses his arms.

"I am not going to comfort someone who let me be injured badly by lava." Alejandro refused and Duncan picked Alejandro up by the collar of his shirt.

"Listen here and listen closely. Anybody that season did not care about you, you dipshit. Besides if we tried to help you, then we would have been as injured as you. So get off your fucking high horse or I'll feed you to Scott's friend Fang." Duncan threatened and Alejandro narrowed his eyes.

"Fine. If it means that I won't be mauled, I'll go after Heather." Alejandro said with a clenched fist as Duncan let him down and Alejandro walked off the direction Heather went.

"We're going to keep an eye on the spaniard bastard." Eva picked up Justin and walked off after Alejandro, with Justin being unable to protest as they walked off.

"Guess we're just splitting off again." Jo grumbled as she watched Scott, Ezekiel and Sierra walk off together, leaving her, Courtney and Duncan.

"I'm not getting involved with your mess." Jo muttered as she walked off alone, leaving Duncan to glare at Courtney who scoffed at his glaring.

"So no insults? No kick to the kiwis?" Duncan questioned with a roll of his eyes and Courtney looked uninterested.

"Why should I even bother? You're not worth the effort." Courtney distantly said as she started to walk off but Duncan grabbed her arm.

"Don't pull that shit with me princess." Duncan tried to stop her from leaving and now Courtney turned to him and glared.

"You lost the right to call me that when you kissed Gwen on the plane." Courtney hissed out and stormed off, leaving Duncan alone with a bunch of unconscious mutant squirrels.

Confessional:

"Ok she's never used that tone before. Man, I'm just as bad as Mal by hurting her like that." Duncan sighed with regret in his voice.

Confessional 2:

"That green haired ape doesn't deserve any of my time." Courtney wiped a small tear away from her eyes as she crossed her arms, "I don't miss being with him at all. I just hate being reminded of how much I let him hurt me."

End Confessional:

The camera then cuts to Mal climbing up a cliff towards some winged goats, not the ones with the idol, but they had some eggs and Mal knew he needed to get some points before going after the idol again.

"Come on. Come here you fire breathing menaces." Mal growled under his breath as he reached the goat's nest and the goat went to breath fire at him as Mal punched it and quickly grabbed an egg before he dropped down to the ground, landing on shaky legs as he kept a hold of the egg. The goat shot fire at him as Mal ran off, running by Jo.

"Where're you going pipsqueak?" Jo called out as suddenly a goat shot fire at her and Jo jumped out of the way. Suddenly more goats showed up to shoot fire at the two and Mal saw the one holding the immunity idol. Jo saw this too and tackled Mal to the ground, the egg staying intact.

"I'll be the one getting that mister personality." Jo taunted as the goats started dive bombing them and Mal punched her in the nose, causing blood to pour out of it.

"In your dreams." Mal shook the blood off his hand as the goat with the idol dive bombed at them and Mal grabbed the idol and replaced it with the egg within seconds and Mal smirked evilly as Jo stood up and wiped the blood off her nose.

"I'll be taking that Mike or whatever dumb personality is in control this time." Jo lunged forward but Mal quickly grabbed her arm and flipped her on her back.

"Dumb personality? Why that'd only be Chester and Vito. Manitoba and Svetlana are quite smart. Along with Mike and me." Mal taunted and Jo narrowed her eyes at Mal.

Confessional:

"So Mr. DID has another personality. Like the other four weren't annoying enough before." Jo stated in annoyance.

End Confessional:

"I'm going to make you regret messing with me." Jo snarled as she stood back up and Mal put the idol in his pocket as Jo shot up from the ground and grabbed Mal's leg and threw him against a tree, knocking the wind out of him and knocking the idol out of his pocket and to the ground between Jo and Mal.

"Get out of my face." Mal growled as he stood back up and Jo punched him in the face, knocking a tooth out of his mouth just like she had lost a tooth previously.

"At least you put up more of a fight than Mike." Jo stomped on Mal's lost tooth and suddenly rustling in the bushes was heard and suddenly Izzy jumped in between the two and snatched up the idol and ran off, cackling madly.

"Oh come on!" They both cried out as they glared at each other and ran off after Izzy.

The camera then transitions to Cody and DJ walking through the forest as Cody looks around nervously as he feels like he's being watched.

"This whole dang place is messed up." DJ comments as they see a giant mosquito suck dry a giant crab.

"That's an understatement. Where would an egg be?" Cody wonders as they then see a vulture with five eyes fly off the top of a tree and an egg fall off from the tree to the vulture's ignorance. DJ runs and catches the egg quickly.

"Ask and ye shall receive." Cody chuckles as they start to walk back to the egg basket. As they walk, Cody keeps looking between DJ and the egg he is holding.

Confessional:

"Do I do what Heather said? Do I sabotage Dawn's group?" Cody wondered to himself as he contemplated his choices.

End Confessional:

As DJ and Cody keep walking, they accidentally bump into Owen and DJ accidentally drops the egg and it splatters over Owen.

"Aww man." DJ says in defeat as Owen helps the two up and Cody looks beyond Owen and sees Noah and Dawn trying to coax a mutant crab to give up its egg.

"Oh hey guys. Sorry about that. But hey look, Noah and Dawn got two eggs." Owen pointed out as Noah and Dawn walked up to them.

"The poor creature." Dawn noticed the shattered egg over Owen and Owen looked at the eggs with hunger in his eyes.

"Down boy. We need the eggs for the challenge, besides she'd have my head if you touched them." Noah shot Owen down, who whimpered as Noah pulled out some beef jerky from his pockets and gave it to Owen.

"Do you just have food for Owen in case he gets hungry?" DJ asked as they began walking back as a group.

"When you've been trapped in an elevator with Owen with no food, you learn to keep some on you." Noah shrugged as Owen happily ate the food.

Confessional:

"Mmmm jerky." Owen said happily as he ate even more jerky.

Confessional 2:

"Owen's still the same as usual, at least with some less farts." DJ smirked happily as he recalled the first day on the island.

End Confessional:

The camera then cuts away to Leshawna running away as she carries two eggs herself as Harold tries to stand between Leshawna and a giant beetle but is easily punched into a nearby tree, sending Harold to the ground.

"Come on hun, get off the ground and get running." Leshawna called out as Harold nodded weakly and stood up and got picked up by the giant beetle and got thrown out of sight and landed in his team's basket, which thankfully had no eggs in it, as Scott, Sierra and Ezekiel each put one egg in their team's basket.

"What mutant did you piss off?" Scott taunted as Leshawna ran into the clearing with the giant beetle behind her and Scott gulped at the sight of it, remembering how strong it was during last season.

"Least it's not a cockroach, eh?" Ezekiel chuckled nervously as the beetle went to tackle Leshawna, but then Brick and Cameron came into the clearing and Brick tackled the beetle to the ground as Cameron put another egg in the basket.

"Wow we got a lotta violence today. Lots of fighting. Gotta love it." Chris announced over the loudspeakers as Brick tried to hold the beetle at bay as Leshawna put the eggs in the basket and took Harold out.

"Wait, what's to stop the other team from stealing our eggs?" Sierra asked as Scott looked cautiously at the other team.

"Integrity." Chris answered, clearly shrugging and uncaring about stealing.

"So nothing then." Scott looked at the other team's basket with narrow eyes.

"You two go on ahead, I'll…" Scott started to say but Sierra grabbed his arm.

"Not letting that happen. Zeke, you got this." Sierra dragged Scott off, much to his dismay.

Confessional:

"Hey I wasn't going to sabotage… immediately." Scott chuckled to himself.

End Confessional:

Zeke nervously smiled at the heroes as the beetle finally was let go by Brick and scampered off back into the forest.

"So who's gonna watch our eggs?" Harold asked and Brick and Cameron both raised their hands at the same time.

"Let me do it. I shall protect the eggs with all I got." Brick vowed firmly.

"I was going to volunteer because I think some mutants in there still have some grudges on me after last season's finale. Especially," Cameron shuddered, "Larry."

"Both of you do it then. We'll get more eggs." Leshawna picked up Harold and carried him on her shoulder and walked off again.

"Why did she need to carry him, eh?" Ezekiel asked and Cameron and Brick both shrugged in response.

Confessional:

"When Ezekiel was feral, he seemed pretty bad and dangerous. But when we guarded the eggs, we talked a little and it seems he is just a bit out of touch with society like I was. But still, how did he even survive falling into a volcano?" Cameron seemed contemplative of the situation.

End Confessional:

"It's three eggs to three. It's still anyone's game. And the immunity idol is now in someone's hand. Whoever has it by the end of the challenge gets to keep it." Chris announced as Heather is seen walking away from Alejandro and throws an egg at him when the idol is revealed to have been found.

"It's mine." Heather ran off as she ran into Eva and fell back on her butt and Justin is seen holding two small eggs.

"Queenie, you go after that idol without an egg and you'll be needing that idol immediately." Eva warned and Heather scowled as Alejandro approached.

"Ah mi equipo. How goes the hunt for the eggs?" Alejandro asks and Eva shrugs as Justin shows the two eggs.

"Eva scowled at a bird and stole these from the nest." Justin explained and Alejandro nods.

"So you did nothing yourself? Why, you seem to be quite a burden then." Alejandro smirked evilly as Justin clenched a fist in anger and accidentally crushed one of the eggs and then glared at Alejandro.

"My my, so clumsy." Alejandro taunted as Eva punched Alejandro in the gut and walked off.

"You so deserved that." Heather smirks and Alejandro scowls as Justin walks off, not bothering to acknowledge Alejandro.

Confessional:

"You know, you'd think Alejandro would be trying to make allies, not enemies. What is his deal?" Heather questioned with a hum.

"My problem is the people who left me to be burnt by lava. Especially after you kissed me." Alejandro's voice is heard outside and Heather slams the door open of the confessional and pulls Alejandro into the confessional.

"Fuck off! As if you're a saint here. You left Bridgette stuck to a pole in subzero temperatures, leaving her to potential frostbite, you played with Leshawna's heart and got her to knock my tooth out, you fooled Harold into eliminating himself, you sent DJ flying in Jamaica, you brought the love triangle to light, you made Courtney go crazier, and you would willingly have left me beneath a boulder and let me burn myself in Hawaii. So tell me, why would anyone have helped you?" Heather tapped on his chest forcefully.

"As if you have a place to talk as the one who bullied Lindsay and Beth, kissed Trent, let Lindsay take your fall, and made no friends ever. You deserved getting your hair shaved, I did not deserve nearly being burned to death." Alejandro angrily pushed back with an accusatory tone.

"At least I worked to be better. Or did you forget seasons two and three? Besides, you also have hurt me personally. That hat last challenge, you have no idea how much it hurts my head to even speak or do anything because of the headache that moon gave me without the tinfoil hat. It feels as if my mind is being drilled by fifty drills at once." Heather angrily shouted and Alejandro's eyes widened.

"I… didn't know it would hurt you like that." Alejandro seemed regretful and Heather huffed.

"It seems you don't think before you ever hurt anyone. So just get out before I flush you down the giant toilet myself." Heather warned and Alejandro raises his hands in surrender as he exits the confessional.

End Confessional:

Mal and Jo are seen running through the forest, avoiding every mutant as Izzy cackled among the tree tops. As Mal turned down a path, he slammed into Cody and knocked him and the egg he held to the ground as DJ, Owen, Noah and Dawn watched. Dawn looked away from Mal as DJ helped Cody back up.

"Sorry about that." Mal scowled as he falsely apologized and Noah noted how Dawn wouldn't look him in the eyes and Cody bit the bottom of his lip and Noah decided to speak up.

"Ok, so why were you running? What were you chasing exactly?" Noah decided to press Mal about and he scowled as he knew Jo was probably going to catch up to Izzy first and possibly steal the idol.

"I thought I saw a mutant vulture carrying an egg." Mal lied through the teeth of his mouth and DJ raised an eyebrow as he hadn't heard a vulture at all.

"So your thumb scratching your palm is your lying twitch. Good to know." Noah pointed out and Mal scowled at this.

"Why would I lie?" Mal seemed angry as Dawn seemed unable to speak up even when she wanted to.

"Oh you know exactly why, Mal." Noah narrowed his eyes and Dawn silently gasped at Noah's confrontation as DJ and Owen both looked confused and Cody looked at Noah in shock.

"Who's Mal?" Mal lied through his teeth.

"Ah so you're an idiot then." Noah taunted and Dawn looked at Noah in shock at his brashness here.

"Little buddy what're you doing?" Owen asked and Noah raised his hand as Mal seemed getting more angered by the second.

Confessional:

"So when Dawn told me about Mal, I knew if he came around, I couldn't let him plot in the shadows and manipulate the game as easily as the eel or queen bee did. No if I made him show his true colors now, then he'd be less of a threat. I know I told Moonflower I wouldn't get him voted off, but by removing his chance to get a good power spot in the game, he would perhaps be less threatening to vote off and allow him to go further like Dawn wanted me to let him do." Noah revealed the thought process behind his taunting with crossed arms and a smirk.

End Confessional:

"I swear if you insult me again…" Mal muttered under his breath as Cody decided to speak up.

"Noah, Dawn if you knew Mike had a fifth personality named Mal, why not tell anybody else?" Cody spoke up at the worst time and DJ looked at Dawn and Noah in surprise.

"Wait so this is another personality or alter of Mike's?" DJ questioned, "Why didn't you tell us in case we needed to help him?"

"I'm sure they had a good reason." Owen defended as Cody bit his lip sorrowfully and walked off as DJ spoke up again.

"But why hide it? If we need to be a team, we need to trust each other." DJ pushed on as Mal chuckled at this turn of events. Their attention was away from him as he ran by Owen and DJ and Dawn reached her hand at him but lowered it with her eyes filled with uncertainty.

"Why? Because my girlfriend asked me not to and I trust her more about this than say Harold with his random facts he spurts out." Noah defended with harshness in his voice and Owen stood between them.

"Guys, let's not argue. I'm sure it'll turn out fine." Owen tried to mediate but DJ shook his head.

"How can we work as a team if we don't communicate?" DJ clenched a fist and Noah scoffed.

"You do know that there will be a merge and you could just as easily use my trust against me." Noah shot back and Dawn seemed to be shaking with anxiety and Owen saw that Noah and DJ both looked like they weren't going to back down.

"Hey Dawn, want to head back to the egg baskets with me?" Owen asked her in a soft tone and she nodded as Owen picked her up with the two eggs she held that they had yet to deliver back yet. Owen started walking away as Noah continued to argue to defend Dawn as DJ kept trying to emphasize the importance of trust, with neither acknowledging Owen and Dawn's departure.

Confessional:

"I… I know Noah was defending me and had good intentions, just as DJ did with wanting to trust us… I just wish that argument didn't happen." Dawn looked saddened as she talked to the confessional.

Confessional 2:

"I shouldn't have done that, I shouldn't have done that." Cody rocked back and forth in the confessional with a guilty conscience.

End Confessional:

Duncan and Courtney are now seen walking through the forest, neither acknowledging each other as they reach a swamp and see a giant plant in the center.

"Well there's like five eggs." Duncan pointed out and Courtney hummed her acknowledgment as the mutant venus flytrap named Larry spots the two at its swamp and sends vines after them, not getting up from the ground. Duncan tackles Courtney out of the way as the vines slam into the ground.

"Ok Chris went full delusional in keeping that thing here and letting us here." Courtney noted as Larry kept a watchful eye on Duncan who noticed this and smirked as he pulled out his knife and cut the vine, not meeting much resistance. Larry roared and came out of the ground and started running at Duncan, who ran off with laughter as Courtney saw that the nest of eggs left by Larry was small and she could carry it easily.

The camera then shows Larry knocking down trees as it continues to chase after Duncan and Duncan accidentally collides with Izzy being chased by Jo and knocks the idol into the foliage, unseen by Jo, Izzy or Duncan.

"Oh that looks fun." Izzy noticed Larry as Larry slammed a vine down at her and she tried to grab it but her bandaged hand made it slam her back into a tree.

"Oh fuck off!" Jo picked up a stone and threw it at Larry's face, making it scowl and roar at Jo.

"Hey plantface, if you value your egg, then leave us alone." Duncan held up a rock shaped like one of Larry's eggs and Larry immediately stopped and grabbed the rock from Duncan and walked away peacefully and Jo sighed in relief.

"Nice move Dunce-an. But did you get any eggs?" Jo asked and Duncan shrugged.

"No but I'm sure Courtney did. There were five there." Duncan said and Jo high fived him.

"Good going. Then we'd be at eight. Let's hope the other dunces grabbed two more." Jo said and the camera transitioned to Justin putting his egg into the basket as Eva dragged both Heather and Alejandro into the clearing with one egg each as Leshawna and Harold both came back with more eggs.

"Five to five now then. The idol is still at play out there. Who'll win?" Chris announced over the loudspeakers as Owen carried a calmed down Dawn into the clearing as she put two more eggs into the basket.

"Where's DJ, Noah, Cody and Mike? Three of them need to bring at least one more egg." Cameron asked Owen who looked into the distance worriedly as he saw Courtney and Cody both running down different paths.

"Wow Courtney with five eggs! If she gets those there, the villains win." Chris announced and Brick looked from the loudspeaker to Courtney and Harold pat him on the shoulder.

"Go stop her real quick. Just until the others get back." Harold told Brick and Brick hesitated.

Confessional:

"I didn't know if I should've sabotaged the other team with that move or not. My mom always taught me to make things a fair fight. My drill sergeant taught otherwise. But what do I do?" Brick seemed hesitant and thoughtful.

End Confessional:

As Brick was hesitating, Courtney continued to run and Eva ran over to her and picked her up.

"Hey!" Courtney protested as Eva carried Courtney to the basket.

"It's faster like this." Eva grunted as she set Courtney into the basket as Cody entered the clearing.

"And with a score of seven to ten, the villains win!" Chris announced and Brick hung his head as the villains cheered as Duncan and Jo came back into the clearing.

"There's still some campers missing. Everyone, be back in five minutes." Chris called out as the only ones missing now was Sierra, Scott, Izzy, Noah, DJ and Mal.

The camera then cut to DJ and Noah finally stopping their argument as Chris announced this and they looked both ashamed.

The camera then transitioned to Mal at the same time walking down the path, whistling a tune to himself, clearly not maddened like he was earlier by Noah.

Sierra and Scott are both then seen running away from Fang as they run into the clearing.

"I thought you said he was tranquilized!" Scott yelled in fear as he kept running and Sierra ducked behind the hero's egg basket.

"Don't find me. Don't find me." Sierra hyperventilated as the giant doors opened and Chef stepped through and shot tranquilizers at Fang, which sent him to the ground in a second and he bent down and started dragging the shark off.

"Wait, where's his tooth?" Justin wondered as Chef dragged the shark off and Scott gulped in fear.

"T… tooth?!" Scott said fearfully as he fell to the ground in a faint.

"Oh great. I'm not carrying him." Heather crossed her arms and Courtney scoffed as she went to help Scott to his feet and he groaned as he woke up.

"Thanks purty lady." Scott mumbled out and Duncan gave out a short laugh as Courtney looked a little disturbed by this coming from someone she barely talked to. Thankfully before more people could talk, DJ and Noah both arrived back in the clearing.

"What were you two doing?" Leshawna asked DJ and Noah as they were seen still glaring at each other.

"They got into a big argument." Owen revealed and Harold looked surprised.

"DJ and Noah, argue? That's preposterous." Harold proclaimed and Noah twitched in annoyance.

"Buzz off Harold." Noah said in annoyance as he looked over at Dawn and got a look of shame on his face as she shook her head at him.

Confessional:

"Ok, maybe me and DJ arguing was a bit much." Noah looked sheepish at the camera.

Confessional 2:

"At least hopefully soon my animal curse will be gone. Maybe staying to argue was better than hurting more animals." DJ had a conflicted look on his face.

End Confessional:

As Mal and Izzy both, somehow uneventfully, got back to the clearing, Chef got back from dragging Fang off and motioned for them to follow him.

"Heroes you're sending someone home tonight. And I can tell the tension in the air. Gotta love it." Chris smirked as the camera cut away to later that day with Noah following Dawn into the woods and her motioning for him to sit by her on a fallen log.

"I know I probably messed up completely with me arguing with DJ and I probably was being just rude. I'm sorry." Noah apologized and Dawn gave him a small peck on the cheek.

"I know you were just defending me and I understand where both of you were coming from. I'm not mad at you." Dawn admitted and Noah's shoulder relaxed, unconsciously having been tense from walking here.

"The reason I wanted to talk was I don't want you to vote for DJ tonight." Dawn said with a sigh and Noah raised an eyebrow.

"I mean… I'd assume either him or me are gone for that argument." Noah said casually and Dawn shook her head.

"Without DJ here, I can't get rid of his animal curse." Dawn explained simply and Noah nodded in realization.

"Ok, I promise I won't vote for him then. You have my word." Noah promised and Dawn give a small smile.

"Your aura tells me that you think I'm upset with you or scared or might leave you, but Noah, I will never leave you." Dawn promised him as she sunk her face into Noah's chest as she hugged him and he hugged back, both taking the moment of silence to be with each other.

The camera then cut to Mal in the loser's cabin, making his bed and putting something under his pillow as Brick walked in.

"Hey." Mal greeted but Brick held up a hand.

"Save it, Mal. Don't even pretend anymore. DJ and Cody told all of us about you." Brick revealed and Mal sighed in relief as he let his hair fall in front of his eyes.

"Thank god. Pretending to be that goody toe shoes liar is annoying." Mal said now with one eye obscured.

"I just came to let you know, that if you're planning to do anything that will hurt Mike, then just know I'm going to protect my friend, no matter what." Brick vowed and Mal scoffed.

"As if I'm going to hurt Mike. He's as much a part of me as I'm a part of him. The only pain I plan to bring is to those who deserve it." Mal scowled and Brick gave a glare and a nod as he silently left the room and Mal chuckled.

"The fool doesn't even realize that includes him." Mal smirked to himself as the camera cut away to the campfire ceremony with all the villains in the peanut gallery, with Courtney sitting as far away as she can from Duncan and Scott.

"No point in asking for volunteers to Boney Island tonight since someone brought back the immunity idol." Chris revealed and everyone gasped in surprise.

"Fuck." Jo swore to herself and Izzy raised an eyebrow at this, knowing she dropped it at some point.

"Now then, heroes you're on the chopping block today and the ones who aren't leaving us are…. Harold, Leshawna, Cameron, Izzy, Owen and Dawn." Chris tossed out the marshmallows and Owen immediately ate his.

"Next is Cody and Brick." Chris tossed the marshmallows and both looked guiltily at their treats for different reasons.

"And then we have… Mal you get one." Chris announced and used the name of the alter this time and Mal rolled his eyes as he caught his marshmallow.

"DJ and Noah, you're both on the chopping block for getting into a big argument in the middle of a challenge. Kinda dumb if you ask me, but you are teenagers after all." Chris taunted and Noah scowled.

"If I had a marshmallow, it'd be hitting your face right now." Noah snarked and Chris rolled his eyes.

"And the flushee today is…

"Do we really have to do the dramatic buildup?" Jo called out and Chris shushed her quickly as he let the silence continue, as DJ started sweating slightly and Noah gulped.

"…

DJ, you're gonezo." Chris tossed the next marshmallow to Noah and DJ looked shocked.
"Sorry, didn't want to break up my new favorite couple yet." Izzy looked a little apologetic and Owen gave DJ a hug.

"Sorry dude! I panicked at sending my little buddy home and got Izzy, Harold and Leshawna to vote you." Owen revealed and apologized and DJ just smiled.

"No worries big guy. It is a competition. Also, sorry Noah for getting upset earlier. I just wanted to have a trustworthy team." DJ apologized as Owen released him from his hug.

"It's no big deal. No hard feelings?" Noah asked and DJ gave him a fistbump.

"No hard feelings." DJ nodded as Chris groaned.

"Can we get on with the lovefest already? Show needs to wrap up people." Chris said in annoyance and an egg flew through the air and Jo is seen whistling innocently as she juggles multiple eggs.

Confessional:

"I brought some from the Spa Hotel in case of McLean being a jackass… I just wanted an excuse to egg McLean." Jo chuckled to herself.

End Confessional:

DJ is seen in the toilet as the hero team except Mal goes to see him off as does Duncan, Courtney, Ezekiel, Sierra and even Heather.

"Hey Dawn, maybe when we meet after the show you can get rid of that curse finally?" DJ asked and Dawn nodded with a sorrow expression.

"Of course." Dawn vowed and DJ smiled as Chris started to flush the toilet and DJ screamed as he was flushed away and gave no backsplash.

"Total Drama's most liked contestant is now gone. Hell even Heather liked him." Sierra comments and Heather looks away with a scowl as Leshawna smirks at her.

Confessional:

"She does have a heart beneath that cold front. More of a heart than Alejandro." Leshawna snarled slightly at the end.

Confessional 2:

"Given that Zoey was eliminated and now Mal is a player in the equation, I believe that the rigged votes came about due to Mal. But for what purpose?" Harold questioned as he put on his detective hat cautiously, half expecting a prank when none came and he sighed in relief.

End Confessional:

"And down goes another contestant to the sewers. Let's hope he doesn't hurt any alligators down there," Chris chuckles darkly on the docks after all the contestants had disbanded, "So will Mal survive long now that his secret is out? Will Courtney acknowledge Scott saying she's pretty? Will we learn how Ezekiel is still on this show somehow? Who knows? But you can find out next time on Total Drama All Stars." Chris finished as the camera faded to black from Chris's toothy smile.

Confessional:

"Why did I have to vote DJ? Why did I have to vote DJ?" Cody rocked back in forth guiltily as he now seemed to regret going after people Dawn trusted.

Confessional 2:

"This is the most episodes I've been in, eh. Much nicer to be here than when I was feral." Ezekiel admitted as he tugged on his toque.

Confessional 3:

"So Alejandro and Heather are now avoiding each other at the Spa Hotel. Ah I'm gonna have fun messing with them through this." Duncan chuckled with an evil smirk.

End Confessionals:

Owen is seen eating some grey gruel as he walks from the mess hall to the cabins to see Cameron and Harold talking on the stairs as Owen approaches and happens to hear them talking.

"So is there anything we can do to get rid of Mal?" Cameron asked, clearly wanting his friend back.

"Cameron, to get rid of an alter isn't simple. It isn't as if there's a reset button for Mike's brain. Besides, DID develops as a result usually as a result of trauma and it isn't like we can erase Mike's trauma gosh!" Harold explained loudly as Owen ate some grey gruel and ignored the conversation as he wasn't involved as he went to sit at a tree to eat his gruel in peace.

As Owen eats, Scott, Sierra and Ezekiel come out of the Spa Hotel and walk off into the woods and Owen shrugs and decides to follow as he had finished eating his food.

"So why are we getting sticks again?" Sierra asked Scott as they walked through the woods.

"Cause I need to whittle my stress away and F… Fang might be after me again." Scott shuddered as he picked up some sticks and Ezekiel noticed Owen nearby.

"Oh hey Owen eh. Wanna help us get sticks?" Ezekiel asked and Owen shrugged.

"Sure. Can we use some to cook marshmallows?" Owen asked and Scott shrugged.

"I can whittle some marshmallow sticks." Scott agreed and Sierra watched this with a smile on her face.

Confessional:

"Usually I'd think that teams would avoid each other like on the plane, but just seeing people from opposite teams together and getting along… it's my Total Drama fangirl dream." Sierra said with a happy smile.

End Confessional:

As Scott, Sierra, Ezekiel and Owen walk back with the sticks, Izzy, Justin and Duncan are seen setting up a campfire circle.

"What're you doing?" Scott asked and Duncan shrugged.

"Getting dirty apparently." Justin wiped his brow of some sweat as Eva rolled her eyes as she tossed a lighter to Duncan as Izzy cackled and tried to grab the lighter.

"Izzy overheard cooking marshmallows and decided to make a small campfire for us instead of that dumb Chris one." Izzy revealed as Duncan started trying to light the fire.

"Took five seasons, but it actually feels like a summer camp for once here." Leshawna walked over with Brick, Harold and Cameron.

"Got that right. Also, how did Izzy rope us into this?" Jo stated as she and Courtney walked over with some chairs from the Spa Hotel.

"It's Izzy. You either agree or she'll set your bed on fire with you in it." Courtney stated and Izzy nodded at this and Jo gulped.

"Remind me to never get on her bad side." Jo whispered to Courtney and she nodded as they started setting up chairs around the campfire.

"If the sun was out, I could use my glasses to start the fire." Cameron stated and Duncan shrugged as he still struggled to start the file.

"I can do it." Izzy raised her hand to volunteer.

"No!" Leshawna yelled as did Cody as he had just came out of the cabin to join the group, both clearly remembering her fire on Boney Island in season one.

"You know you need marshmallows, chocolate and graham crackers right?" Heather snarked as she approached the group with said food in hand. Owen looked at the food and licked his lips but Leshawna smacked his hand as he went for them.

"Well well well, looks like queenie's joining us." Leshawna playfully taunted and Heather rolled her eyes.

"Even I can appreciate a break from the competition. Besides, I did enjoy that cookout we had." Heather admitted and Cody quickly puts his hand to his wrist.

"Heart is still beating," Cody then pinches himself and then pinches Harold, "Yep we are alive. Heather did just say that."

A lot of people laugh at this and Heather smirks slightly as she rolls her eyes.

"Don't get used to it. It's not like I like you idiots or anything." Heather crossed her arms.

"Tsundere." Harold coughed and Cody and Brick both give a small laugh at this. Courtney surprisingly gives a giggle at that as well.

"Wait, Brick and Courtney know what that word means? Since when are you two weebs?" Noah snarks as he and Dawn join the group.

"It's like I've been on the internet before or something." Courtney shoots back and Noah holds a hand over his heart.

"Shot fired. Going down." Noah fakes pain and falls into Dawn's arms who giggles at his unusually playful antics.

"I actually do enjoy anime. The art style is quite nice for some shows and I do appreciate the stories as well." Brick admitted sheepishly.

"Nothing wrong with liking a show. I'm sure we all have our favorite shows that we like." Owen nodded and everyone muttered some kind of agreement.

As the talking continued and Scott started whittling marshmallow sticks, Mal is seen at the window of the cabin and hears the noise made as the group at the campfire talks and is energetically getting along, a stark contrast to them during challenges. People like Jo weren't being overtly rude, though Mal could hear her still shouting and getting into small arguments as expected of her. Everyone is just being teenagers, despite some bad feelings between people like Jo and Duncan or Duncan and Courtney or Jo and Brick. Mal could keep going but he knew that was not needed.

"You know, you could get along with others instead of just staying to yourself." Mike's voice resounds in Mal's ears and he scowls.

"You know exactly why I can't do that." Mal growls and Mike is heard sighing.

"Hurting people isn't the same as protection." Mike tries to appeal to Mal in his own head and Mal shakes his head.

"I only hurt those that put you in danger, you know this." Mal says to his host and Mike again sighs.

"I never could convince you otherwise. Just… be open to learn." Mike speaks softly and doesn't seem to be too mad at Mal at that moment and Mike doesn't speak again.

"Open to learn? Learn from whom? Humans, the same that hurt you?" Mal scoffed as he laid in his bed and decided to get some sleep and stop the feeling in him like he was somehow doing something wrong.

Meanwhile, Alejandro is viewing the gathering from the boy's bedroom of the Spa Hotel and Alejandro just shakes his head.

"No, I can not join them. I do not deserve that, do I?" Alejandro sighed reflectively as he sat on his bed.

"Heather was right. I did nothing to deserve kindness and only hurt others… have I really let myself become just like my brother?" Alejandro wondered to himself as he watched Heather actually having a decent conversation with Jo and Leshawna for once and he sighed. People were willing to give Heather a chance because she decided to change, not all of her but just not acting as if everyone was beneath her anymore.

"Perhaps me living the lava has given me another chance… but what do I need to change about myself?" Alejandro wondered to himself as his last thought to himself as he went to sleep with the thought of Heather's anger still on his mind.

AN: Yep, DJ is gone. He's one character I actually had a lot of debate on what I wanted to do. In my first revision of the elimination order, he would've made it to the merge. But as time went on, I thought more about what I wanted to do with him and thought this would be a good place to eliminate him. I hope I did him justice here. I do honestly really like DJ and he's one of my top ten characters. But, for the sake of the story he had to go here. Beyond DJ, a lot happened this chapter, from Cody and Heather to Mal being revealed (which yes I'm doing here because I didn't like how gullible everyone was by Mal in canon and that no one picked up on it for a long time except Alejandro. Mal wasn't even that good of an impersonator of Mike) to Dawn's inner conflict and Noah and DJ to just a bunch of things. Things are being put into motion for reasons and will be important to characters' personal stories/arcs. Anyways, one thing I'll address real quick isn't a character thing, but the cookout and campfire scenes I've included in the last chapter and this chapter. As said in this chapter directly, it feels like a summer camp with these two events and it's not as if the characters just go to bed as soon as the challenge is over. They're teens and teens hang out and I'd think would do stuff like this if they could. Like in season one they had a hot tub party and I felt that was nice to see just the Gophers hanging out and I wanted to do that here. These scenes won't happen all the time, but they're there to just help... ground the story I'd say if that makes sense.
