Sanji picks Luane and starts to run down the street, he always had good legs. During high school the track team would always ask him to join but he already had a club he joined, the cooking/baking club. Luane, looking sad, holds on to Sanji's shirt tight as he runs to their destination. Why? Why would Zoro lie? The day before he tried to become friends with the cop. They even exchanged phone numbers. Who is it that he doesn't want to be with, Sanji or Luane? Where they that bad? Finally at their destination he sets Luane on the ground as he gasps for air. He is both mad and hurt. Luane holds onto his pants leg as Sanji knocks on the door. No one answers at first so he knocks harder. This time he heard the locks then the door opens. The first thing he notices is the bright pink hair, then the dark eyeliner, and the black layered dress with slippers. Sanji looks confused.
"Sanji." The woman who opens the door says smiling. Sanji smiles back.
"Perona." Sanji had forgotten about her, Zoro's adopted sister. Well they both were adopted by Mihawk. "Is Sabo or Ace there?"
"Yeah, and Luffy. I think they just woke up. The three of them seem to have fun last night. Come in." Perona moves to the side to let them in. They walk in and Perona closes the door behind them. "Take off your shoes, if you want slippers I'll give them to you."
"No that's ok. I only came to talk about Zoro. Are they in their room?" Sanji asks as he takes his shoes off, Luane does the same thing but sits down on the floor to do it. Seeing she might need help Perona helps her.
"I think they're in the kitchen." She points before she continues to help Luane. Sanji, with his shoes off goes into the kitchen to see Luffy stuffing his face, Ace is asleep with a fork in his hand and Sabo is looking at a newspaper. Sanji walks up to him and bangs on the table waking Ace up. Perona looks up after taking Luane's shoe off. She smiles down at her. "How about we go to the living room and watch some t.v?" Perona asks, Luane smiles and nods her head.
"Did you know?" Sabo looks up at him. Ace rubs his eyes and Luffy chews on his food.
"Are you talking about how today's Zoro's day off?" Luffy asks.
"Yes! We went to the police box and when we got there he wasn't there so we asked and they said that today's his day off like always. Why didn't any of you tell me yesterday?"
"We thought it was weird too but if Zoro lied then he must have a reason right?"
"Do you know where he is?" Sabo, Ace and Luffy all look at each other and shrug.
"But I did see him wearing his dress uniform." Luffy says. Sabo and Ace look at him then at each other.
"Are you sure?" Sabo asks. Luffy nods as he stuffs food in his mouth.
"Dress uniform?" Sanji asks confused.
"Just another word for formal wear for cops. They have their normal work uniforms then they have a uniform for formal events like weddings, funerals, balls etc. Get it?"
"If you want to know where he is look in his room he might have left a clue at to where he is." Perona says.
"Where's his room?" Sanji asks. Perona points up the stairs.
"There are signs on our rooms." Sanji runs up the stairs. Luff continues to eat before he stands up fast.
"What's up?" Ace asks.
"Sanji is the last person Zoro wants in his room." With that the other two stand up, then the three off them run up to Zoro's room pushing past Perona. They ran into the room surprising Sanji.
"What?" Sanji asks standing in the middle of the room.
"Umm, how about we look for clues and you stay outside Zoro's room." Sabo says smiling.
"Maybe wait down stairs?" Ace says giving a suggestion.
"Why not just help me?" Sanji asks.
"Look, Sanji, we know Zoro and if he knows that we let you in his room, he's going to..umm," Sabo says.
"Kill us, he's going to kill us." Ace says directly. They all stare at him with eyes that scream 'please listen to us' and he sighs.
"Fine, I'll just stand in the doorway." He points and slowly walks. He leans against the doorway as the brothers look around his room. They open drawers, look in his closet, under his bed and around his desk. Sanji stood there looking at them walking around the room until he takes a close look at Zoro's room. It was a reflection of him. To the left was his bed, then a nightstand next to it. His twin sized bed has black and green covers with black pillows perfectly made. On the edge is a nicely folded pile of clothes, Sanji assumed it is his pajamas. A big square rug sat underneath half of his bed. On his night stand is a nice lamp that doubles as a surge protector (outlet surge or adaptor). Next to that is his round non-digital alarm clock facing towards the pillows. Leaning against his night stand are three katanas. He forgot Zoro was in the kendo club, he even became the captain. To the right of the night stand is a big window that has two blinds, black and white, the black ones are tied to the side letting the light in. To the right of the window is his desk, nice and neat with a nice looking chair. The wall next to the desk has a black square stand for the flat screen TV that seems about thirty to forty inches wide that is facing towards Zoro bed and a square table in the middle. The shelf and drawers lined the rest of the room. There were no posters on the wall and there are picture frames that sprinkled around the room but there weren't a lot, he has maybe ten.
The brothers all sat on Zoro bed. "I couldn't find anything and now I'm hungry again." Luffy says leaning back, his hands supporting him as his stomach growled.
"It's like he hasn't been sleeping in here for the week." Ace lays all the way down.
"But he was sleeping here last night I checked before going to sleep."
"His keys are still here so he either walked or someone picked him up." Ace deduced.
"Is there anywhere he could have gone dressed like he is?" Sanji asks.
"He could have gone to the cemet-" Ace and Sabo jump him. Sanji looks at them like they're crazy. Ace and Sabo get close to Luffy.
"The anniversary is still far." Sabo whispers.
"Yeah, it's not today idiot." Ace whispers. Sanji gets close to try to hear them as they whisper. They spot him and look smile at him suspiciously. They are keeping something a secret, all three of them are. He thought about finding time to get Luffy alone to ask, him being the only one with a big mouth but first he needs to find Zoro. Sanji feels his phone vibrate in his pocket and picks his phone up. He looks to see he's gotten a text from Nami.
You said Zoro had work today right?
That's what he told me, why? He text backs.
Well here he is. She text then a second later he gets a picture. He clicks on it and is surprised by what he sees. Zoro in his dress uniform. A black dress coat with epaulets and scalloped pockets. With a black tie making the white shirt pop out. Black dress pants to match. He also is wearing a formal hat to match his dress uniform and white gloves. He's holding out his elbow that a girl dressed in a big white gown and her hair tied up and is covered by a veil she's holding on to his elbow with her right arm and is holding a bouquet in her left hand. Both of them smiling at each other.
"Hey is this Zoro?" Sanji says holding his phone up to the boys who stopped fooling around to look at the picture.
"Yeah! That's him. Why's he with Tashigi?" Luffy says as they all stare at the phone.
