Name: Tanisha Collins
Nationality: Liberion
Age: 11
Birthday: August 4 1934
Affiliation: Conch Republic Air Force.
Rank: Corporal
Height: 145cm / 57 inches
Hair: Kinky black usually in pig tails
Skin Tone: Dark
Eyes: Brown
Striker unit: Grumman F6F Hellcat
Weapon: Browning M1919 Medium Machine gun
Familiar: Norway rat
Intrinsic Ability: Firestorm With this ability Tanisha can cast a cone of fire this moves at a considerable speed in addition to being very hot. (Imagine Erica Hartman's Storm ability and add fire to it.) This does a lot of damage especially to groups of small size neuroi but it takes a lot out of her
Background: Tanisha is a dark skinned black girl. She uses braces and crutches after a bout with polio when she was seven left her legs partially paralyzed. She was laying in her bed a couple years later when a rat scurried over her. Needless to say she was startled when it did so. She was surprised when she suddenly manifested the ears and tail of a rat. She knew immediately that she was a witch and the rat was her familiar. Having read about witches she picked up the rat and set it on her shoulder. She put on her braces and then using her crutches came out to the living room and showed her new features. Her parents were startled when Tanisha showed the features of her rat familiar. Tanisha soon discovered that with concentration she could cause a spinning vortex of fire to come forth from her hands. This power takes a lot out of her to the point that she can only use it one time with out resting for an extended period.
Shortly after she turned eleven she was at an air show at Detroit City Airport where Charlotte Yeager of the 501st JFW was meeting people as part of a war bonds event. The young girl went up to the Strike Witch after the show and showed Charlotte her power and told her she wanted to be a strike witch too. Charlotte looked at the heavy braces on the young girl's legs and as gently as she could told her that because of the braces she would never be able to fly a striker unit. Tanisha started to cry and Charlotte hugged her and shed a few tears of her own. A couple days later Tanisha was sitting on the shore of the Detroit River sobbing over her fate when a little girl in a wheel chair rolled up and asked her what was wrong. She told the girl about her meeting with The Strike Witch. That was when the girl in the wheel chair told her to stay there she had something to show her…something wonderful! Tanisha agreed to wait, about half an hour later she heard the sounds of a striker unit and the girl returned flying a one-piece Striker. She then identified herself, as Sergeant Latonya Morris of Beta Flight of the 555th Joint fighter Wing and that Tanisha could become a Strike Witch and that if she really wanted to be one that she should come with Tonya. Tanisha took Tonya to meet her parents. Her Parents were skeptical at first about the idea of a Strike Witch in a wheelchair until Tanisha persuaded them to come out side where Tonya was waiting seeing the little girl actually flying her special striker and being told that her legs had been totally paralyzed by polio was hard for them to believe. But Tonya told them she knew this girl who could make a striker unit that a paralyzed witch could fly and she was living proof of that. They agreed to let Tanisha go with her especially after seeing the CRNS Calypso figured that there was no way this was not real. Late the next day the Calypso sailed into Houghton to pick up the rest of the 555th JFW. Tanisha was in fact able to fly a normal Grumman F6F Hellcat Striker and was overjoyed. Then Diana said that while she could fly a striker it took far too long for her to take off her braces so she could put on the striker so that while she could fly she took too long to get ready to be able to fly combat missions Tanisha was crushed. Darla however was not discouraged. After having Tanisha move to a spare wheel chair she took her braces to her shop and after some work put on quick release latches cutting the time needed to a fraction of what it had been then a Striker Cradle was modified to accommodate Tanisha's handicap. With a little practice Tanisha was able to remove her braces and mount her striker fast enough for Diana to accept her in the unit and Megan said that she would take Tanisha in Alpha Flight since she needed somebody who could carry a larger gun.
Tanisha is a dark skinned black girl. Her legs are partially paralyzed from polio but her upper body is well muscled because of the fact that she has to use crutches to get around so she is strong enough to wield the Browning M1919 medium machine gun. She also has the ability to generate a firestorm from her hands this can do heavy damage to neuroi but it takes a lot out of her and she has to rest after using that power.
Name: Mary O' Brian
Nationality: Liberion

Affiliation: Conch Republic Air Force
Rank: Private

Striker unit: none
Weapon: none
Familiar: Eastern Painted Turtle
Intrinsic Ability: Mary's Primary ability is healing her talent works in a unique way when she treats a 'patient she does her spell and it works by bringing the patient's body back to what it should be healing injuries curing diseases and neutralizing poisons. She has another power called 'Baby Kiss' that when she kisses a person or creature it calms them down and makes them like her.
Background: Little Mary is Wendy O 'Brian's younger cousin and people often show amazement a how much Mary is like her older cousin. But what happened in May of 1945 still surprised every body. Mary walked in the house after playing in the back yard carrying a baby painted turtle. Her mother was concerned about the safety of the little turtle when she saw the toddler with it. She knelt down and held out her hand.
"Let me have it." She asked.
Mary turned aside. "NO!" she barked out.
"Mary it's little you might hurt it." She said.
"NO! MINE!" Mary retorted. She had a blue glow and manifested the traits of the turtle and threw up a shield!
Margaret recognized what had just happened immediately since the manifestation was identical to Wendy's. Margaret's main concern at this point was the poor little turtle that Mary had in a vise grip. She was worried that the toddler might accidentally suffocate it. At this point she had an idea that might work.
"Mary, Would you like to see Aunt Sylvia?" she asked.
"Otay" Mary said with a smile.
Margaret knew that Sylvia would be very happy to see her favorite niece. She had been rather lonely since Wendy had gone to the Conch Republic about a week prior to help train a new witch… Boy was she in for a shock! It was a rather short walk to Sylvia's house. Margaret knocked on the door Mary was still clutching her turtle with both hands when Sylvia opened the door and saw Mary. She knelt down.
"Hi Mary, What you got there." She said as she reached for the turtle.
Mary immediately called up her magic and threw up a shield.
"MINE!" she barked out.
Sylvia was surprised when the tiny tot threw up a shield.
"I don't believe it!" She exclaimed. "Mary is a witch! How old is she now?"
"She's fourteen months." Margaret said. "She is just beginning to talk. I'm worried about that poor turtle. I'm afraid that she is going to accidentally hurt it. I don't think she realizes that it's little."
"I think I can save that turtle." Sylvia said then turned to Mary. "You want to see Wendy's turtle?"
Mary nodded "Otay"
The toddler followed Sylvia to Wendy's bedroom and the tank where her turtle was kept.
"You know Wendy's turtle has been really lonely since she went away." Sylvia announced. "I think she would like it if your turtle visited her. You think she would like that?"
Mary looked at the turtle in the tank then at her turtle and nodded. "Otay" and she held up the little turtle.
"Here I'll let you put it in." Sylvia said as she picked Mary up. The tot placed her turtle next to Wendy's. Margaret breathed a sigh of relief.
"I was worried that since she does not understand what is happening that she might hurt the little guy with out meaning to." Margaret noted. "I don't think she fully realizes what has happened."
"Yeah I don't think so either." Sylvia agreed. "I don't think she is ready for broom or striker flying either, not for a while yet."
The two women watched Mary watching the turtles. It did seem that Mary had understood that she could not carry her turtle everywhere with her. Then there was a thump from the front of the house. Sylvia groaned.
"Not again!" she exclaimed. "That is the third time this month that's happened."
They went outside where a clearly injured bird was on the ground struggling after hitting the picture window. Mary saw it and toddled over to where the bird was. Margaret started to go after Mary when Sylvia stopped her.
"Let's see what she does first." She suggested.
Mary manifested her familiar's features as she approached the dying bird and knelt down next to it then she placed her hands over the tiny creature and they started to glow and a magic circle formed under her. The bird stopped struggling and just laid still then it stood up. Mary leaned down and kissed it on the head. The bird flew up and landed on the tiny witches shoulder.
"She's a healer like Wendy" Sylvia observed." though I don't remember a bird flying up and landing on her shoulder like that."
In the next few months Mary went around healing any small creature she encountered that was hurt mostly insects but also birds and small mammals. She went to the UPASRC base sometimes but Diana agreed with her mother that she was too young even for them. She did watch what was going on and sometimes hung around with little Cindy. When Wendy came home from training Tonya Mary proudly showed her favorite cousin that she was a witch too. All the little animals that she was healing helped her hone her healing skills to a considerable degree to the point that she was as powerful as Wendy. Later it was found out that they were in the same power class as Yoshika Miyafuji. When the Calypso arrived from The Conch Republic to pick up the other witches Mary wanted to go too. She was told she was too young, after a brief argument she stormed off. Every body figured that was the end of it…they were wrong. Mary had her own ideas. She grabbed a haversack and dumped the fruit bowl from the kitchen table in it and added a plate of cookies. Thus provisioned with half a dozen apples a similar number of pears and a couple dozen home made chocolate chip cookies the tiny tot hid in one of the striker cradles and was loaded on the Calypso. She managed to remain hidden for over a week though there was some evidence of her presence by little piles of poop she left in hidden spots. Part of the reason that she was not initially suspected was that not wanting to alarm Wendy they kept her disappearance secret from the 555th so when her poop piles were first found Cindy got blamed, it was not until almost a week later that one of the crew caught her in the act. When he tried to catch her she threw up her shield and scampered off but they finally realized that the poop piles did not belong to Cindy and they had a stowaway on board. Eventually she was tracked down and Cindy chasing her with her striker managed to crash her shield and catch the wayward tot. By this time the Calypso was too far out to sea to land the tot so she was stuck on the carrier. After she used her shield to save the lives of the engine room crew when there was a steam explosion it was decided to train her to be a shield witch.
Mary is a chubby little girl like her cousin Wendy only smaller. She has a powerful shield and can use healing magic like her older cousin. She has another power called Baby Kiss when she kisses somebody or any animal they tend to calm down and view her in a favorable manner. This can even counter Cindy's Toddler Rage. Mary's familiar is an Eastern painted turtle. And like Wendy when she calls up her magic she gets the tail of the turtle and scales like a turtles shell form on her back and she gets the markings of the turtle on her neck and cheeks.
