Turbulence In The State

Obediah read the latest report from his internal police, apparently they suspected that there were Sheikah in Mercay town spying on them. He'd have to look into it, if they were right it would mean that they would have to make a move on Kakariko village earlier than they would have liked. Making sure to quell any memories from yesterday night and the thoughts that came with them Obediah exited the humble abode that was his headquarters, nodding to the two vigilant guards who stood watch outside the dank building he made his way to the town hall all the while feeling like he was being watched from the shadows.

Elijah heard a knock on the door to his study, a dusty room with bookshelves lined with tomes containing the endless knowledge of war, philosophy, and politics, "Obediah would like to see you premier," said a guard from the other side of the door, his voice muffled by the heavy wooden door, "show him in please," answered Elijah as he closed the book on siege tactics, raising his head just in time to see the intimidatingly tall Obediah in the archway under the door, "please, take a seat comrade," Elijah said while gesturing to the vacant chair on the other side of cluttered table, "premier, some of my agents report seeing suspicious activity in the town, due to the ability of these people to disappear behind corners they believe that they are Yiga or Shiekah but knowing how close we are to Kakariko village it seems more likely that they are Sheikah," reported Obediah with a crisp salute, "look into it deeper, we must root out any forms of subterfuge," ordered Elijah as he gestured to the door.

"Remember that you shall never bow down to the bourgeois again! You have been liberated by the Union and now you will liberate your children with this temple to knowledge and socialist thought! Buildings like these will ensure that the Union lasts ten thousand years!" Proclaimed the strange box that emitted the disembodied voice of a gruff man, "The Union Ten Thousand Years!" Came the unified cry of the workers as they toiled away on the school.

"Samuel, did you get the rations?" Asked a kind old woman as the young boy in question crossed the threshold into the small house, a sack as large as him held safely in the young boy's small arms, "I did, Erikson tried steal the fruit again, I told the Moral Enforcement officers like you said, they put a noose around his neck and gave him a short choking with it, they pulled it off of him after a few seconds, gave the brat quite the scare!" Excitedly reported the small child.

Zion's horse pushed on to the bridge that connected Mercay town to the mainland, Zion raised his head to look at the flag that flew next to the bridge, letting a breeze whip his blonde hair a little bit as his horse began to trudge along on the cobbled bridge. Giving a small salute to the waving black Triforce with two hammers on either side of it, everyone thought for some reason that the hammers were going to protect Triforce but they will come to realize that the twin hammers are poised to destroy the ancient relic of classism and free the proletat. Nodding at the two sentries posted at the entrance to the bridge Zion moved toward Mercay town and towards the end of his journey, he was sure that his brother would have some other task for him. The moment his horse crossed the threshold into the town the young diplomat hopped off his horse, pausing a moment to let the numbness from riding all day wear off, stopping as a two men in maroon coats walked towards him, both were wearing simple maroon caps with a blue trim and two crossed hammers right in the middle of the forehead, no doubt some new police unit that Obediah had cooked up. One of the enforcers paused before Zion, giving a small salute he said, "Comrade Elijah requests your presence at the town hall, we are here to escort you there, you must be tired," Zion just nodded his head, and, as they passed through the center of town he snuck a glance at the gallows erected in the center, while no one was hanging from any of the five nooses he was certain that it was only a matter of time before it was filled out.

"Brother, I'm back!" announced Zion as he entered his brother's study, Elijah's head snapped up from the paper he was reading and he regarded his brother with a large smile, "glad to see you're still in one piece brother!" His smile slid off his face as his voice changed from lighthearted to serious, "the Sheikah are out to get us comrade," Zion regarded his brother with a face of dawning horror, "oh we're so screwed!" Shouted an exasperated Zion.
