Just then a couple came out that all of them least expected - Sally Jackson and Paul carrying a little 4 year old.
"He is coming with the rest of our friends. You should probably call your hunters as well since we have a long way to go." Illwern said.
"As to how I know all of you and them", He continued pointing at Sally. "I think our friend can explain later"
"Listen I know its a lot to take in but we will explain with time."
Just as Athena was going to argue about security and crap, she was stopped by screeching of tyres followed by more figures emerging from a Urus.
"Is there a car meet around?",Leo asked amazed.
"We have more pressing matters to look after", Piper and Calypso said simultaneously and Jason fixed him with a glare.
"Looks like you haven't got any luck on convincing them, did you Minden?",The girl said.
"What do you expect when we have her on board?", She confirmed rolling her eyes towards Athena.
"Look who we have here, another newbie.", Someone form the back said."Like have you seen that face. I bet you are hiding your mouth from shame. Probably need a whole ton of money that you can't afford. No one will even kiss that mouth."
"Yeah, well not everyone can use their daddy's credit card like you.", The blue-black armored boy bit back, "You are Robby right, Annabeth's new dog?".
"You don't insult someone with twice you worth especially when he owns a flaming Supra twin turbo.", he flexed as if owning a car was the end of the world for others.
"Look at you Robby. Already feeling insecure when someone hot arrives on the scene", Drew said flirting.
"What do you mean Annabeth's new dog?", Artemis snapped."She is a hunter now"
"That is for her to tell but lets just say that Athena took a loan from Robby to help Zeus and now Annabeth has to pay the interest rate until Athena returns the money back...",The boy smirked but his eyes clearly showed disgust. Unsure if it was for Robby or for Annabeth.
It took Athena a while to recover her composure. "How do you know all this...I have kept it a secret without anyone knowing? And you did not answer Robby's question". She started going offensive and trying a comeback."I know my daughters won't"
He turned hard of hearing again. Instead he went over to Hestia and asked, "Think its time mom?"
"Well this does seem like the perfect opportunity. Besides you don't need to hide forever". Aphrodite confirmed.
Hestia just shrugged and said,"This is your call not mine. Whatever you do just remember that I am proud to call you my son."
"You mean we", Aphrodite claimed.
The boy went to his previous place and said with a grin in his eyes," You know Athena, i have to admit that you are smart..."
"tell me something I don't know", Athena mumbled but he continued.
"...but you forgot that a horde of about 150 monsters are on our tail and that we need to GET OUT OF THIS PLACE."
"Only if you tell us who you are, please my son". Poseidon offered kindly.
He exhaled deeply before coming close to him," I don't know about the others but monsters know me by the name of Perseus."
And he removed his mask showing his face when all hell broke lose. Everyone started opening and closing their mouths like a bunch of goldfishes.
Annabeth felt her blood turn cold from the truth that just slapped her on the face. 'Her Percy was alive. Maybe all is not gone'
"You are supposed to be dead!", Jason squeaked.
"Thanks man, i missed you too."
"That is not what i meant...", Jason started but was cut off by Percy."I know what you mean bro, relax."
"Where is she?" Percy asked clearly annoyed. "She was supposed to be here like 10 mins ago."
"Umm...Who is she?", Aphrodite asked with raised eyebrows.
Percy opened his mouth to answer when a voice called,"Looking for me sweetheart?"
Everyone looked to see a girl on a Ducati V4S who was clad in full motorbike gear from gloves to a helmet all in black. It was skin tight showing all her curves in the right way.
"Sweetheart huh?", Aphrodite teased.
"You and I have a lot to discuss.", Hestia told him.
'Later', Percy mouthed with a grin."The hunters are also here, perfect". He said a little too brightly.
Sure enough the hunters were here led by Thalia.
"My Lady, we are here and you...", She started by stopped short when she saw who was standing in the front.
She just stopped in her tracks.
"Finally, a welcome I was expecting.", Percy grinned like a 5 year old.
He went forward and hugged her.
"You have a lot to tell me. You most definitely own me an apology.", Thalia said.
"I promise pinecone face."
"Sorry to break the moment but we need to leave right now. A few minutes and the monsters are here.", Hiccup said.
"Yeah lets go. Can I borrow your bike?", Percy asked Illwern.
"Just don't crash it", he said tossing him the keys.
"What about them?", Minden asked pointing towards Sally.
That is when Percy saw them and felt a shiver down is back. "Yeah, you can join Minden in her car."
"Can I join you ,please?", Estelle said innocently.
"Sure but not now. Later I promise". Her voice was music to his ears. He picked her up and kissed her cheek.
"Let's roll"
He put the helmet on his head and waited for everyone to settle in. Then he signaled them to follow. The bikers were side by side on the front and Minden behind followed by the RV and Hiccup and Astrid in the Camry bringing up the rest.
Just then they heard a loud bang.
"Yep, they are here. Now the party can get started", Illwern said. "We should go. NOW!"
They revved their cars and were off. it was just like some high speed chase on the highway from a Tom cruise movie. Except this was all real.
"They are chasing us", Leo said.
"Everybody get down", Minden shouted as the mirrors shattered.
"And now they are shooting at us"
"Yeah thanks for the commentary Leo. It's not at all distracting", Illwern said from the driver seat.
"Percy and Tory will take care of the gunners. Hiccup get me the shortest route to checkpoint base", Illwern said.
