Three chaotic messes were starting to wake up to horrible headaches hours after the others woke up.

They had 3 extra rooms already and Alisa was staying with Lars so they all had a room to sleep. Nina has slept in Jin's room, Hwoarang was in Alisa's and Jin was in one of the extra rooms.

Nina started to hear voices on the door. She could hear every sound multiplied by ten. Then she heard the door opened slowly. Jin and Alisa was serving hangover cures to the rooms.

She groaned in pain. She was feeling horrible. She opened her eyes when she heard the clink of the glass when he put it next to her.

"Morning." He said.

She grimaced. "Please don't shout." She said. Even though he spoke with low voice. So he mouthed 'sorry'

"I brought you this. It will make you feel better." He whispered. She hardly could recline.

"Anything will make me better because worse is not possible." She said.

He chuckled. "It wasn't cold was it?" He was taking something from his wardrobe.

"I don't know anything." She took a sip from the drink. And immediately put it back. "I was wrong. Worse was possible..."

"If you finish it, it will work. Then come to kitchen and eat something." He left the room.

"Please, stop torturing me woman!" Forest was just waking up and still hasn't become completely sober. He was shouting Alisa who made a tiny noise while entering the room.

"It's breakfast time!!" Lars shouted in the middle of all three rooms.

~"Don't shout!" Nina screamed.

~"Fuck off!" Forest was angry.

~"Stop shouting and kill me faster, why don't you?" Hwoarang murmured.

Lars was laughing sneakily. Alisa shushed him. They went to the kitchen and started to wait for them. A few minutes later, Hwoarang was the first one to be able to move and come to the kitchen.

"I'm fucked up people, let me tell ya."

"Eat something, come on." Others already ate and were drinking some tea.

A few minutes passed. The other two was still nowhere to be found.

"I'll bring them." Jin stood up. He found Forest in the hall, sitting on the ground with his face on the wall. Was he sleeping like that?

"Hey Forest, are you okay?" He poked his shoulder.

"Yes, my battery died." he said with still closed eyes.

"Come on buddy, get up." He helped him up and also helped him wash his face.

"Can you go by yourself now?"

He nodded and started to walk like a zombie.

Jin went to his room to also bring Nina to the kitchen. He found her laying in the bed, watching the ceiling.

"What are you doing, breakfast waits."

"I don't want to eat. Actually, I don't want to do anything right now."

"Come on, you have to eat something. It will be better."

"I can't get up just now. Don't wait for me. I'll be there in a minute or three business days."

He chuckled and hold her arm to help her up.

"Why did you guys made me drink that much?" She was groaning. She could get up by holding Jin. She felt she is forgetting something. After she stood up, the bottom she's wear started to slide off from her one hip. She pulled it up. "What is that?"

He chuckled. "Kunimitsu made you wear my shorts, it's kinda large for you." He stretched the strings of it and tied a knot.

He could see she was also in Alisa's t-shirt which was kinda looking like a crop-top on her because of her large... He tried to distract himself.

They came eye to eye with Jin. She started to remember things now. She remembered the pool.

"The pool was in my dream tonight, right?" She asked innocently.

Jin chuckled. "If so, we all were in your dream, I even get wet." She remembered pulling him into the pool also. Then she remembered what she's done after that. She started to look at him in shock.

What have I done, what have done, what have I done...She let go of him immediately.

"I can walk now." She started to walk faster hardly managing to keep her balance.

She entered the kitchen.

"I would laugh my ass off if I could, Nina what are thoooose?" Hwoarang pointed her outfit.

She sat down breathless. "Shut up, I need to eat."

"I specifically asked for everyone to be QUIET!" Forest shouted the last word. He hold his head and kept eating. Nina digged in too when Jin came in, she decided to not look at him at all.

"Nina..." Hwoarang was looking at her smirking.

She stopped and tried to understand.

"So it's safe to say that after philosophical Nina, there comes seductive Nina huh?" He was moving his brows up and down.

"What?"

He told everyone? Ugh, why? Why did he tell them? It's embarrassing..."Don't act like you don't remember." He was teasing her.

Nina was determined to act like she doesn't remember. "What are you talking about?" She started to sound like a kitten now. She wasn't a good actress.

"Come on, you've played with Kunimitsu's feelings..."

Aaah, he's talking about that. Phew!"I didn't?"

"You should be thankful that you're not sick right now. Do you remember you jumped into the pool?" Alisa told her.

Nina face-palmed. "Can you guys please stop reminding last night? I am suffering enough..." Others chuckled.

"Golden moment of the last night. Eheheh." Forest laughed.

"Shut up, that's because of you!" Nina pointed him with the fork on her hand.

"I am proud..." He said and added "But do you guys remember Jin said he never drinks when we first drink when he was injured?"

"Right he did. And he was consuming it like a juice yesterday." Hwoarang said.

"It's when I didn't know you guys yet." Jin smirked.

"Last 1 hour and 30 minutes." Lars came in announced that. It was time left for cracking the code of USB.

"Wow, It's like we time travelled because for me it was two hours ago we started to drink." Hwoarang said.

"Let's see." Lars clicked the first file. All others were standing behind him.

The file was a list of names. First column was doctor names, second is the project name and third is human subjects. They all scanned that column. First thing catches the eye is Lars' name. It was overlined.

"So I was supposed to be a subject for complete blood exchange. They are crazy."

Alisa with a worried face squeezed his shoulder. Lars turned and kissed it and continued reading.

"Here, my dad." Forest pointed.

"Let's take a note of the number of project. They must be listed in another file."

Next that catched their attentions was Baek Doo San's name. They took a note also.

Next name surprised everyone. It was overlined like Lars' name.

Jin Kazama. He was also in the list.

"What is your name doing here? The experiment of gene transmission. It's cancelled." Nina read it.

"Uhhh," He got nervous. "It's probably planned when they captured me."

"Did they capture you?" Hwoarang asked.

"Before you guys founded me, I was running away from them." He explained this much. Nina was feeling very bad now thinking how she treated him then. She was looking at him in sympathy but escaped her gaze when it met his. She was still embarrassed by yesterday night.

They took notes and started to look into other files. There was no Anna name in the lists or anywhere. She sighed and left the room to have a fresh air, she was in the balcony. She exhaled and closed her eyes.

"Hey, don't worry. We'll find her also." She opened her eyes and saw Alisa was there.

"Yeah, I know. I have no other option." She said while watching the city. Alisa touched her back to show her sympathy.

"I can feel you. Even for a short time we thought Jin was missing and I can't tell you how much I panicked. But thanks to you guys he was safe and came back to us. Thank you again." She hugged her waist this time to Nina's surprise. She was always so distant to people she newly met but this girl now was hugging her. She put her hand around her shoulder to not leave her without a respond.

"If I knew he was running away from them like this, I would be more kind to him though." She tried to get rid of the emotional situation.

"Glad you didn't, he always likes some hassle in his life." She chuckled. Nina smiled. And chuckled when she remembered that she pierced him with a tranquilizer. No, she wasn't gonna tell her.

"Nina, Alisa, come in. We reached somethings." Forest came to warn them.

They all got in. They found the files of the plans the labs have made for experiments and there were future dates for lots of subjects including Marshall and Do San. Nearly a week later, there will be experiments. They will be taken to different places at the same time. So they had to split up and make plans.

It was the day. Forest was gonna rescue his father together with Kunimitsu, Lars and Alisa. And Hwoarang was gonna rescue his master with Nina and Jin. Xiaoyu insisted on being included in the plan but no one let her. It was too dangerous. She was mad at them all.

They all left 15 minutes ago. But they were so mistaken if they were thinking she's gonna sit and wait all day without doing anything. She got ready and without her grandfather seeing her she left with her bicycle. She knew all the plan since they did it all together. She was going to join Hwoarang's team since they fell one person short.

She was nearly there. She started to hear voices of fighting people. So they already started. Here they are! She saw them. Three of them were fighting 5 men, and one laying unconscious on the ground They were doing a good job.

Right then she came eye to eye with Nina. She started to look Xiaoyu in shock. She was distracted so next thing Xiaoyu saw one of the men hold her hostage and put a knife on her throat to stop the others.

Uh-oh!Nina closed her eyes in annoyance. She was definitely gonna slap her ass after this. How could she tries get in such a dangerous thing?

"Drop your guns and knifes! You all are gonna die soon!" The guy threatened them. Jin and Hwoarang was slowly letting the men go and lowering their guns. Nina was angrily looking for Xiaoyu. She wasn't where she just was. Ugh, little brat!"Okay calm down. We're dropping." They put them on the ground and other men came and hold them.

"You, bring the plastic handcuffs." The one holding Nina told the one extra man.

He went to car to take them.

Right then the guy holding Nina got a hit on his nape and fell unconscious, was falling on on Nina, she escaped and kicked a guy holding the guys. Then Hwoarang and Jin escaped from their hands also and there were only one guy left. Nina walk to him when he was searching for plastic handcuffs in the car.

They were all on the ground now. Nina immediately opened the back door of the car and reached Baek who was sedatized, half asleep sitting there. Then Hwoarang entered, they tried to wake him but it was impossible.

"Let's get him to the car and leave immediately." Nina suggested.

"I'm bringing the car here." Jin started to run. In less then a minute he came back and they lift him to car. Then all of them got in also. Xiaoyu put her bicycle on the back of the car. Hwoarang and she was sitting on the back with Baek.

"Xiao, you're over when we turn back." Nina said with an angry tone.

"Because I saved you?" Xiaoyu protested.

"Save me? Are you joking? You distracted me and the guy took advantage. What if something would happen to you? Are you out of your mind?" She shouted.

"Calm down, lower your voice." Jin warned her since Baek was in the car and they don't know his situation exactly. Hwoarang was checking him constantly.

They reached their hospital. Lars' jeep was parked. Did they succeeded? Did they rescued Marshall?

Jin and Hwoarang lift Baek to inside and placed him on a bed. Nina run to check the others. They were in an another room. She saw Marshall laying on the bed. He was also sedatized. She saw Forest with teary eyes.

"What's wrong?" She asked.

"We did it Nina." He said. That were happy tears. Nina hugged him tightly. She ruffled his hair.

"Of course we did it. They're safe now." They separated.

"How is Baek?"

"He's asleep. We just brought him." She turned to Kunimitsu. "Can you check his pulse and other things also?" Kunimitsu nodded and left the room. Since her senses were superior to others she was doing this part.

Nina exhaled in relief. They did it.

"I'll take them those." Alisa took the things she brought for first-aid in case of need.

Nina also went there to see what's going on.

Kunimitsu was checking his pulse, blood pressure, breathing etc. Alisa was applying first-aid and connecting a serum with drugs. Hwoarang was watching them speechless. He was probably still in shock. Nina went and rubbed his back. He looked at her. Nina smiled warmly.

"It's over now." She said with a low voice.

"I hardly believe all this." He said.

Nina chuckled. "It's all real."

Xiaoyu brought a machine left in the hospital to monitorize them. They were still working to their surprise.

Jinrei was also there to help them with his own ways. He knew well about fitotherapy.

Nina was outside in the garden to have some fresh air. It was a very stressful week. She was glad it was over and they succeeded. She was happy. And also kinda sad. Since they still couldn't learn a thing about Anna.

She closed her eyes and inhaled the fresh air. She wanted to cry.

"Hey." She turned back to the voice. It was Jin.

"Hey."

"Are you alright?"

"Yes, of course. I am just relieved" She tried to hide the sad part.

"What a week huh?"

"Exactly." She exhaled.

They didn't talk for awhile. Both had nothing to say. Nina was very unsuccessful at hiding her sadness. Jin wanted to comfort her but he didn't know how.

"Don't worry. We'll find your sister too." He said directly.

Nina shook her head. She didn't want to talk about this since it was already so hard to hold the tears back. "It's not it. It's Xiaoyu. How could she do something like that? What if she got hu-" She stopped talking because she realised her voice was going to crack. And crying was gonna follow it.

It can't happen.

Jin realized that. He hoped she could cry comfortably but he knew she wouldn't. Maybe if he could help her hide her face...

Nina was surprised at first but she find it comforting being wrapped in his arms. Also she could hide her face this way. She closed her eyes. It felt so much better.

All except Forest and Hwoarang were sitting together. Those two were waiting for their patients. They were all in silence, still had no idea about their situation. They must be given strong sedatizers, they were still sleeping.

Then Alisa and Xiaoyu started to talk. Xiaoyu was telling what she had done today. Nina was still angry to her.

"It was a stupid thing to do." She verbally stated her anger. She was sitting with crossed arms, laid back.

"You guys excluding me is what was stupid." Xiaoyu bit back.

Nina straightened up. "You could've get hurt. Do you understand that!" Her voice slightly raised.

"Without me, you guys could get hurt also."

"Xiaoyu, you don't understand. It didn't finish there when we get those guys. They will follow us. We were protecting you. You fucked all up!" Swearing while talking to Xiaoyu was something she never do. She was so angry this time.

"What does it matter? I've got nothing to lose. I can protect myself like you guys do."

"How can you say you got nothing to lose? These people can take your life."

"I don't care. You guys can rescue your loved ones but I already lost them! There's nothing I can do. All I want is revenge but you don't let me have it!" Xiaoyu shouted this time. She lost her parents to Mishimas. She and her grandfather always wanted to see Mishimas going down. That's why they were with them.

"What are we gonna do if something happens to you?"

"It's on me, stop trying to protect me cause you couldn't protect your sister!"

Nina was speechless. She didn't expect her to say such a thing. She looked at her blankly. Everyone was already silenly witnessing this fight, now they were even more uncomfortable.

Kunimitsu get up and hold Nina's arm too. "Let's switch places with Forest and Hwoa. They should rest a bit." Kunimitsu took her to prevent something further here.

She was even more sad now. Yes, she couldn't protect her sister. That was right. She was a damned fool because of this.

"Hwoa, it's our turn, you go and have a rest." Kunimitsu said. Hwoarang was really tired and sleepy. He nodded.

"I'll go switch with Forest." Kunimitsu said. Was trying to distract Nina from her thoughts. But couldn't succeeded. Nina nodded and stayed silent.

She stared blankly to monitor showing Bark's heartbeats and beeps everytime.

She doesn't know how much time passed but there was a change in the rhythm now.

Is he waking up?

"Hey, Baek. Are you awake?" She asked with a low voice.

He groaned while he was opening his eyes slowly. Nina stood up quickly. "Baek, don't worry I am friend. I'll get Hwoa." She rushed inside and tell them he woke up.

Hwoarang rushed in.

"Saboonim!"

Baek was so tired to say anything. "Hwoarang?" He could say with a very weak voice.

"You're safe now, me and my friends, we saved you." He explained. He was very excited and happy that he woke up.

"I am so tired."

"Sleep now, sleep. You're safe."

Baek closed his eyes back. Everyone was more relieved now.

Hwoarang exhaled and was scratching his head. Forest patted on his back. Hwoarang hugged him. "It's Marshall's turn."

They watched over them till morning by changing every 2 hours. But Marshall hasn't woke up yet. His injuries was heavier. Maybe that's why he didn't woke up yet, they thought. Alisa, Jin and Lars left to bring some more medical supplies.

It was Nina's turn to watch over Marshall now. "Go, have your breakfast. I'll watch over." Kunimitsu came.

Nina shook her head. "No, not hungry. I will eat later." She didn't want to sit with Xiaoyu, she was still offended and sad. So Kunimitsu left.

After finished eating, Forest came to room.

"I can take it from here." He was worried and tired. He couldn't sleep even if he's not watching over. He wondered why he didn't wake up yet.

"No, Forest. Have some rest. I can manage."

"I can't get rest Nina. How can I? Why doesn't he wake up?"

"He will, don't worry. He is just too tired now. He'll be okay." Nina wanted to relieve him but she wasn't sure of those at all. She was worried too.

Forest kicked something. "Arrgh! Why don't you wake up old man?!" He shouted. Closed his face with his hands.

"Why can't I get a good sleep with peace?" A weak voice raised. They both turned to him. Marshall was awake!

"Dad!" Forest exclaimed. "Are you okay, oh my god! You're awake!

"How can I sleep with this much noise?" He chuckled very weakly.

Now, everything was done, they were safe and healthy. It was a big relief. Everyone was thankful. Forest started take care of his father. Nina was having a little breakfast. Thinking about Forest and Hwoarang. Now they saved their loved ones. Would they leave after this? Because their goal was to save them. They weren't seeking revenge. That means they will leave soon?

Nina was happy they saved them but she didn't want them to leave. They were her it family now. She didn't want to lose it.

Right then, Xiaoyu approached Nina slowly and said "Nina?" with so much guilt in her voice. She regretted what she said. She was angry and couldn't keep her mouth shut.

"Can we..." She started to ask something but Nina took her bowl and stood up to leave the table. She didn't want to talk right now. She was angry at her. Not like she was never gonna talk to her again but she needed time to forgive her. She washed her dish. When she turned back Jin and Lars were there carrying too many bags on their hands. Alisa was headed to the rooms of the patients with a heavy looking bag.

"What are those?" Nina asked.

"Some food and things you might need."

"For how many years?" She asked cause it was A LOT.

"It's not that much. You guys are crowded now." Lars said. Nina hoped so.

They placed them to kitchen together. It was really too much. Alisa was checking their conditions and applying some medicines.

Everyone was grateful to this group of people since they helped a lot. The has passed with taking care of the ill. They all sat down. Nina and Kunimitsu were on watch.

"You know, I never thank you guys properly for when I was injured." Jin said.

"Are you joking, you did so much for us." Hwoarang said.

"But anyway I wanted to thank officially. So..." He stood up. "I'll be back in a minute." He left.

Nina came and said "Guys, can one of you take the watch for a few minutes. I started to feel dizzy." She was also so tired and couldn't sleep so the sleep started to hit now.

"I'll do it." Alisa got up.

"No, no. I'll do it." Hwoarang tried to stop her.

"I can watch over, til we leave. You guys are tired enough."

"She's right. I'll switch with Kunimitsu." Lars and Alisa went to the rooms.

"Guys I'll be back in a minute." Nina went to her room to relax for a minute. She had a headache. Maybe she would take a shower very quick. She took shower without washing her hair. She didn't have the energy to dry it and couldn't risk to be sick. She changed clothes and opened the door to turn back. She was feeling very bad.

She startled when she saw Jin was standing there with his hand ready to knock.

"Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to.."

"It's okay."

"Are you alright?"

"Yes, I was coming back."

"Wait a minute. I have something to give you." He show the package on his hand.

She let him in. He put it on the desk.

"What is that?"

"It's my thank you present." He said smiling.

"Present? No, no need. I wasn't even welcoming to you."

Jin chuckled. "Still, you guys helped me a lot."

"You helped us more now."

"Open the present." He was sure this would make Nina feel so much better.

Nina opened it slowly. She had literally no energy. It was a brand new gun. Even better model than Jin lent her before. She was impressed when she saw this but she remembered in a second that it was extremely expensive thing. And they already helped them way too much. It didn't feel right.

"Oh, this... I can't accept this." She said. Jin was confused.

"Why not?"

"This is so expensive. I can't accept the present that I couldn't afford."

Jin was more confused. "But it's a present. You shouldn't care for its price."

"I do care. I couldn't buy this for you so I cannot accept."

"Come on, I know you wanted this model."

"It's not about wanting it. I will feel debted to you and there is no chance I can pay this back."

"I don't expect you to pay back. It's a gift. I can afford it, I want to give it to you." He tried to explain her.

"But I don't want it!" She raised her voice. She was already so stressed and kinda overreacting. "You helped us enough. I don't need no more."

"Why are you not accepting? Everyone was kind enough to accept my gifts." He crossed arms.

"Then I'm not kind enough." She was heading to the door to leave.

"You're stubborn." He said.

She stopped. "I am stubborn? You are stubborn. Why do you help us this much? What do you want to achieve?" She started to walk to him.

"What would I want to achieve? I want to thank you guys for helping me when I needed."

"I didn't. So no need to thank me." She was turning back. Jin hold her arm to turn her face to him.

"Why are you acting like this?" He asked looking into her eyes, frowned. He couldn't understand. Yesterday they were hugging and now she's so distant and cold, and aggressive. He could understand she feels under pressure but what was that now?

She waited for a second. She had no idea why she was acting like this either. She was just so uneasy and angry. She was thinking about Anna, Xiaoyu, will Marshall and Baek gonna get better, will Forest and Hwoarang leave them after these... Everything was making her even more stressed. She exhaled and closed her eyes.

"I, don't know." She said calmly. She opened her eyes. "I just don't feel very well." Jin stopped frowning when a teardrop started fall from one of her eyes. Nina quickly wiped it. She cannot cry in front of him. It would be so embarrassing. She wasn't weak, she mustn't show her vulnerable side to anyone.

Jin hold her hand and pulled her to himself. He embraced her tightly. Last time it did work. Why not now, he thought. This time Nina wrapped her arms around him also. He could feel her silent sighs. She was crying softly. She couldn't hold it anymore. He let her cry without even moving. Then after awhile he stand a bit back and wiped her tears. She wasn't looking at him, she was embarrassed. He cupped her face. "It's okay." He whispered. He wanted her to be comfortable around him.

She looked at his eyes. She was feeling kinda better now. Looking at his brown eyes and large pupils were calming her.

What was more calming was feeling his warm lips on hers. She closed her eyes and let herself relax in his arms while he was kissing her softly.

It was the moment he was waiting for a whole week. It worths waiting, he thought with her soft lips between his. He was so gentle and slow. Also she was moving her lips slowly to respond.

He parted their lips and looked at her. She slowly opened her eyes and looked at him. She didn't know what to say so she hugged him back. He did too and rubbed her back slowly and caringly.
