What time was it when she finally rolled out of bed? She wasn't sure, hard to keep track of time with no alarm clock but she had assumed it was probably 6 am since that had been her morning routine for years and she rarely ever took days off to sleep in. Walking out of the room she headed to the bathroom before starting to poke around the house again. Her food still sat on the table after she had stormed out of the kitchen the night before as Dabi laughed his ass off after inviting her to sleep with him. Now he was nowhere to be found, as she poked her head into the living room half expecting to find him asleep on the couch once again. But now it was empty. Hmm seemed he had retreated to sleeping in his own bed for the night. Taking this opportunity to enjoy the house to herself for a while she cleaned up her uneaten dinner before moving to sit down on the couch. There wasn't anything edible in the bloody house so she had nothing she could eat till Dabi got up. Turning on the TV she flips through the Chanel's a little before settling on the news. It felt good to see that the world outside the little apartment was still going around.

An hour into watching the news and nothing about her had even been brought up. Sure it had only been a day but surely the hospital would have noticed something was wrong when she didn't show up for her shift. Dabi took her phone at some point while carrying her to the warehouse. She had thought he was feeling her up but no, he had just searched for her phone before tossing it into a garbage bin he walked past. So when she didn't show for her shift and didn't answer her phone, surely someone had gone to look for her or called the cops to do a welfare check on her. And yet not a thing on the news yet, she tried to be optimistic that the cops were still double checking the woman was indeed missing and not at friends or a family member's place. But it surely wouldn't take long for them to learn she had no real friends. A few acquaintances and work related kinda friends but no one she hung out with outside of work. And there was no living family in this country for her.

She sighed softly as it also dawned on her that maybe no one cared enough to call the police, hard to be reported missing when there was no one to miss you. After what happened when she was a sidekick she had distanced herself from everyone she knew, braking many friendships. She hadn't meant to do it at first but after a while it felt easier to not have friends, not have to worry about the heart break again. And yet that's probably what made her the perfect target for the league of villains. She had no one to come save her, no one for her to run to for help. It made her a perfect target to be kidnapped. She started to flip through channels once again no longer wanting to watch the news and feel herself dreading the fact that she had no social life. That would just make her depressed. No maybe there was a movie playing or something on one of the channels.

She settled on a channel she wasn't really paying attention to as she stared blankly at the TV. Seemingly getting off the news was not enough to be able to keep herself out of her own head. It was hard not to be dragged into her head and the rather depressed thoughts as she wondered if anyone had noticed her gone? She was so busy she didn't even hear the click of a door, or the soft thud of footsteps down the hall. It wasn't till the TV screen had suddenly become blocked that she was forced to blink her eyes slowly looking up at the body before her. She looked up and frowned softly as she took in the sight of those cyan blue eyes looking down at her. Her eyebrows pulled together surprised to see him up so early. Surely it hadn't been that long she had been up even though she didn't know it was already after 8 in the morning. Though maybe the more upsetting part of seeing the man standing in front of her was the fact that he was shirtless. He actually looked a bit leaner than she anticipated now that she had a chance to run her eyes over his bare top half.

She was a bit surprised to see the scar tissue stretching around and over his chest. Once again staples were well placed looking like they connected the healthy skin to the damaged skin. His damaged skin was interesting; the shade looked off for burn scarring. Though she had no real first hand experience with anything other than first and sometimes minor second degree burns. But these were severe fourth degrees at least. His nerves had to be shot, but he looked lucky enough to not have extreme muscle or bone damage but she really couldn't say with just the simple look. She had a feeling the staples were added for some sort of gothic effect as the dead skin wasn't just gonna peel away if it wasn't held to the healthy skin by the staples. It really peaked her interest as she wanted to actually examine the damaged skin and see if it was a side effect of his quirk? Or a training accident gone wrong? But once again her desire to not get personal forced her mouth shut but it didn't stop her active brain from thinking.

"Oi mouse!" A hand waving in front of her face drew her attention from her mind not even realizing she had point blank been staring into his chest zoned out as her brain racked itself over the scars.

"What?" She snapped glaring up at him as she forced her eyes up and away from his chest. As he smirked down at her. Dabi wanted to tease her and tell her to take a photo. It would last longer but he quickly realized her gaze at his chest wasn't looking actually at him. Her mind was completely somewhere else deep in thought, she had been looking at him a moment before but her eyes had quickly glazed over in thought.

"You're an airhead ain't ya?" He asked, smirking down at her teasing her even though he knew she wasn't an air head.

"Sometimes. Occupational hazard," she said with a deep chuckle as she watched for a split second a confused look crossed the man's face. He didn't know that it was his scars that had triggered her to end up deep in thought. She was quick to wave a hand lazily at him before mumbling a soft, "never mind."

"You're an odd one. I still don't get why Shigaraki took an interest in you," Dabi said leaning in towards her a little. She assumed the man named Shigaraki was one of the two she had spoken to earlier. Either the cloud of the smoke in a suit or the pale blue haired man with the hands on his body.

"Your guess is as good as mine," she said softly with a shrug of her shoulders. Dabi was surprised how calm the woman was being, ignoring his teasing and actually answering him was surprising. This was probably the closest thing to an actual simple conversation the two had in the last two days.

"So are you just here to try and drive me insane or is there something I can help you with?" She asked boredly as she placed her left elbow on her knee and placed her chin in her palm as light green eyes looked up at him refusing to look down at his bare chest again. The corner of Dabi's lips tugged up as he looked down at her. Oh how interesting she was, the past two days she was nothing more than irritated with him. Yet now she seemed far more calm and collected. He wondered how long this would last?

"Well I was saying that someone should be here soon to deliver some groceries this way you can make some breakfast soon," Dabi said lazily as he moved to plop himself down on the couch beside her. She found herself trying to slide away from him which only made the man laugh.

"Okay," she mumbled, throwing a glare at him as she tried to put as much distance between him as she could. She wanted to argue and tell him she wasn't his maid or personal chief. But realistically if the man couldn't cook and she was cooking for herself she may as well cook for him.

"Oh what's this? The little mouse is so meek and calm today," he said chuckling as he tried to tease her and get under her skin.

"I've simply decided I can't hide from you all day every day, I can't kill you even if I wanted to. You also clearly get off on irritating me. If I don't let you get to me and I'm more likely to keep my sanity," she answered him bluntly which only seemed to thrill him even more as he tossed his head back and laughed.

"Well you are truly a fun little mouse," he said as he laughed before those cyan eyes turned over to look at her as a wide toothy grin pulled at his lips.

"I'd say I have a name but you're not gonna drop the little mouse will you?" She asked arching an eyebrow at him.

"Where's the fun in that? And clearly it still bugs you even if you're trying to hide it does. How long do you think you can try and pretend I don't bother you?" He asked her leaning in towards her as he watched her lean back. She was still scared of him knowing full well what those hands of his would do to her if he could grab her even without his quirk he was dangerous.

"I'll hold out as long as I can," she said, simply turning her eyes over to the TV, not even sure what was playing any more. She didn't have much time to try and even figure out what was playing before a knock at the door drew her attention away from the tv and with that Dabi pushed himself off the couch.

Now her attention was to who was at the door. Though she remembers that Dabi did say someone was going to bring over groceries. She assumed it must have been some delivery person simply dropping off some bags of groceries. Yes finally some real food in this place. That thought had the woman climbing to her feet and slowly making her way to the kitchen not even paying attention to the conversation going on by the front door.

"Here's your groceries. I'm not your delivery boy," came a voice as Rin walked into the kitchen to be met with a man wearing a black and grey costume with his hands full of bags of food. Rin almost missed that the two sentences came from the same person. The first sentence was calm and nice, the second sounded more irritated. Though it seemed he paused taking in the sight of the redhead standing in the kitchen in nothing more than Dabi's shirt. Dabi moved past the stranger whom he knew as he didn't pause to worry about Rin's appearance.

"Yeah yeah it's not like it's my fault I can't leave with her here," Dabi said simply as he moved to lean back against one of the counters as he watched the reaction between the two. Rin subconsciously tugged at the front of the shirt as she struggled not to just take off and run back to the safety of the living room. She recognized the man from the group she had met at the warehouse. He was a member of the league which meant this was a chance to try and make a friend who she could use to try and escape. She flashed the man a small smile.

"Thank you for bringing some groceries. This idiot's place is completely bare," she said, jabbing her thumb over at Dabi who was looking as lazy as ever.

"Oh it's no problem. Yes it is!" Oh so the duel answering was from him. Was it a split personality? Hmm no that didn't seem exactly correct. Usually split personalities each took turns this guy seemed to have two personalities at the same time. Okay maybe that is still a split personality? Or was it maybe something similar to schizophrenia? Her medical mindset was curious. She didn't learn a lot about mental health at schools. She was taught more so about how to restart a heart or fix a busted artery.

"You'll have to get use to him ain't right in the head," Dabi said with his typical smirk in place.

"You're one to talk Dabi, you're far from sane yourself," Rin was quick to shoot back at Dabi's rather rude remark about his comrade. Okay now she was sure the man behind the mask with either smiling or blushing? Maybe both at the same time it was a bit hard to tell based on the mask that covered his face as he placed the bags on the counter beside Dabi. Of course Dabi just laughed at her remark as she pretty much called him insane which was not wrong.

"You're catching on quickly little mouse," he said teasing her still.

"Wasn't hard, normally no sane person would steal another person's clothes, or kidnap them," she said simply glaring at Dabi now not paying any attention to what the other man was doing as she didn't even notice he was actually putting the groceries away.

"Maybe I just like seeing you wearing my shirt?" Was the reply Dabi gave now changing the conversation from his sanity to her lack of clothes. Of course it was hard for her to fight the blush that scattered over her cheeks.

"I'm not your plaything. I'm not here for your amusement," she hissed at Dabi only to watch his smirk grown. Damn it so much for keeping her cool and trying not to get rattled and irritated by him. It was so damn hard not to when he was like this.

"Shigaraki just said I wasn't allowed to kill you, everything else is free game," he said, not even bothered by the fact Twice was stuck watching the two. Twice on the other hand was surprised the woman talked back to Dabi the way she did. No wonder the pyro liked her. Twice honestly expected to hear the poor woman had been incinerated already. But it seemed she most of either earned some respect from the man or his interest. Seemed she had interested the man in order to still be alive. Twice almost felt sorry for the girl, or well a part of him did the other part didn't. Rin was grinding her teeth trying not to want to rip that smirk off of Dabi's face. Instead she turned her attention to the stranger.

"I'm Rin Nakano," she said smiling as she walked up towards twice offering him a simple smile as he stopped pulling food items from the bags he had carried in.

"I'm Twice," he said, simply returning the simple greeting. Rin wasn't surprised that they only used their villain names around everyone. Did them no good if she learned their real names. Just as she assumed Dabi was not the arrogant asshole's real name. Well at least Twice seemed nice enough of a man compared to Dabi even though he was clearly suffering some sort of mental issue. Dabi was losing his smirk as he watched Rin try and chat with twice. He didn't like her trying to get comfortable with the other man.
