I was trapped There was nothing I could do. I thought I was going to die. But it was like some fight or flight thing took over me. And my whole body was saying fight. I pushed him off me and flew out the door. 'Wait Oh no BLU!' I turned around but it was too late. I saw Nigel was on Blu and I knew he was watching me. If I moved, he would kill Blu.
Blu's POV
Nigel was on top of me I was literally pinned down. I knew I had to do something. But before I could think of something to do Jewel fly up and attacked him. Nigel pushed her off him and into a wall which made a cage fall onto Jewel's wing. "Jewel!" I said worriedly. "Ow, my wing!" she said hurt.
I then saw the fire extinguisher with the cord still attached to it. I grabbed the end that had nothing on it and attached it to Nigel's foot. "Not Cool Man, Not Cool," I said pulling the pin. Which launched Nigel out of the front of the plane he was flying trying to make sense of what just happened. I then heard a scream and saw white feathers pop out of the fan. "Blu!" Jewel screamed.
"Jewel!" I jumped off the plane without thinking. "Blu what are you thinking?! Your crazy!" Jewel scream. She was right but I was not going to just let her die. "I am not going to let you die. We're chained to-each-other birds remember?" I said.
Jewel's POV
What Blu said really made my feelings for him skyrocket. Without thinking I kissed him and closed my eyes. Wanting him to know that I had feelings for him before we died. I felt air rushing past me. When I opened my eyes, I saw we were flying. No Blu was flying. "Blu your flying!" I told him because he still had his eyes closed.
Blu's POV
When Jewel told me, I was flying I thought 'So that is why we are not dead, WAIT WHAT?!' I opened my eyes, and she was right I was flying. "Your right! I am not an ostrich. I am not an ostrich!" I shouted. I felt the wind on my face but wondered where to go. I decided to go to where the aviary was hoping Tuilo could do something about Jewel's broken wing.
