As they gathered under some trees in the clearing for camp, Glory approached the dinosaurs.
"I take it you don't have three moons where you come from." Glory remarked.
Littlefoot turned to look at her, "No, there's only one Night Circle where we come from."
This peaked Starflight's interest. He rushed over and took a mental note. "You only have one Moon, that must be so weird. What's it like?" Starflight really withed he could write this down.
Ducky looked at the sky, sadness in her eyes. "It's so lonely here without my mommy."
Littlefoot went up to her to stand beside her. "We've been away from our folks before."
"Yes, but never under a different sky." Petrie responded.
"Well, technically, this could be the same sky, we're just in a different part of it." Starflight informed them "There's a chance that when you look at the stars, you could be looking in the direction of your home right now."
"Those stars look awfully far away," Ducky sighed.
"Not helping Starflight," Tsunami said.
"Don't worry, we'll find you a way back home tomorrow," Glory assured them, hoping she was right.
Meanwhile, Clay and Spike had been gathering wood fire a fire. Clay blew a blast of flame on it, and it ignited into the night. The dinosaurs cried out in fright.
"Fire!" Cried Petrie, "Wildfire to burn up the forest!"
"No no," Clay rushed to assure them, "It's just a small fire, we got it under control."
Littlefoot looked at the fire anxiously, "You sure?"
"It came out of your mouth! You shot fire out of your mouth."
"Oh it's okay," replied Sunny, "We dragon's do this all the time. It won't spread."
Cera still looked skeptical, "Hmph, starting a fire in the woods and calling it safe. And shooting out of your mouth no less!"
"Come on," Clay replied, "We should get some rest."
So the dragons huddled together before the fire and lay down. The dinosaurs looked at each other and made their own huddle.
Clay cracked open his eyes to look at the other group. Aw. They're like sibs to each other, just like us.
And like that, by the warmth of the fire, the two groups fell asleep.
In the darkness, far off into the night under the three moons and starry sky, there was a load roar.
Sharptooth was still out there.
