Chapter 7: Lady Cho Chang
Seven days passed the world advanced rapidly leading up to new advances, not a single day passed without any single new development overlooked by the primes, new designs for frontline assault battleship now developing the industrial might unparalleled compared to the former world, thanks to the combined efforts of Lion Emperor Harry and the Prime Winter Empress Elsa. The rampage of Hungarian horntail dragons became a thorn in the primes sides pushed, for the development of a versatile fighter aircraft capable of fulfilling the roles of interceptor, bomber and long-range reconnaissance the newly commissioned fully stealth two-seater fighter fourteen tomcats, alongside the Gorgon and Dumbledore battlecruisers, however, the real breakthrough came in the form of limitless power numerous large crystal pylons set up all across the globe, providing homes and offices effectively replacing the need for fossil fuels, oil and most important electricity, any building within proximity of the crystal instant unlimited power became readily available, in case of attempted sabotage powerful shield charms were placed, one such charm named protego horribilis known to be one of the most powerful shield charms, only a strong shield penetration charm would bring it down that being said if such stunt were tried the group or individual will face stiff punishment.
Harry spent the rest of his days routing out the last of rebellious Yakuza, a well form extremely large criminal organisation originally created by numerous gang members engaged in, extortion, blackmail, smuggling, prositiution, drug trafficking, gambling and loan-sharking, owned a chain of various big restaurants, bars, truck companies, taxi fleets, mega business in Japan itself and recently organized terrorist attacks on key governmental structures, Harry discovered they were the very ones behind the smuggling of the hungarian horntails, their leader the once third-in-command of the death eaters murdered the orgrinal Yakuza leader taking in his place, installed his remaining followers as his co-leaders placed them in cities with the least security, through tact and stragetic planning Harry and Ron set a trap ordered a single Dumbledore battlecruiser to plot a course to Greenland, Ron at first doubted this plan would work the Yakuza were certain no fools, yet, Harry planned someone special to draw the Yakuza leader out of hiding release his family onto the bridge broasting live, pretended to grant them full pardon of their so called former crimes, Harry had studied him over the pass several days after long hours of sacrificing sleep found a distinctive pattern in his behaviour, it was a simple matter tracking down his family capturing them utilize the media, knew he will do whatever it took to safeguard his family confirmed this as his true weakness from the naked eyes of the Yakuza Leader this rescue would be too easy, still his doubts linger brought his best men with him boarded the ship hacked into the ship's main systems overwriting security protocols, in half hour reached the main bridge as the final door opened greeted by his family members.
"At last! What the blazes took you so damn long?!" said his uncle, his face turning red, a tall man whose athletic body could easily snap tree branches.
"Shut up, will you honey, he'd fought these elite Aurors and got here in the nick of time!" said his aunty, slim and tall yet youthful physically wearing a full business attire, her wand drawn out ready for a fight.
"Not only them but the Lion Emperor's newest core elite guards! Bloody fools took out my best man!" his hand shaking slightly before regaining control.
"Get a grip boy! We are YAKUZA! We beat the police and we are going to show these idiots who~"
"Oh do SHUT UP! These Aurors are not police anymore… No! They're worse… far… far worse than dragons, their magic is far too strong we don't have the power to resist them for~"
"So we conceit and die then, is this what you're implying?! Don't tell me… you lost your balls?!" unsheathing his black wand from his walking cane, pointing it directly at his nephew's forehead his nephew in return, drew out his wand mimicked him.
"HOW DARE YOU INSULT ME! YOUR SKULL WILL MAKE A FINE TROPHY!"
"Small words BOY! It's high time I teach an arrogant snort like you the true meaning of MANHOOD! WELL, WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?"
"STOP THIS FOOLISHNESS BOTH OF YOU~"
"Stay out of this!" yelled both of them, their words stung her into action, the boundaries erased by rage and hatred sense what their spells about to shot out from their wands, they will cast in a split second reacted faster.
"Immobulus!" Both of them, instantly lost control of their entire bodies, their wands stuck in their hands and mouth lay stunned unable to obey their commands.
"Quit struggling! BOTH of you, listen here if we are going to escape this fighting must stop! If you don't, both of you will be kissing the ground before you can say ouch, DO WE UNDERSTAND EACH OTHER?!"
"Yeah right! He's so blind he cannot even see we already lost, what makes you think they won't wipe us out? What? By more stupid planning?"
"A wise leader finds a way always, who appointed you leader is far beyond my understanding, you rather bootlick your new emperor than fight for what is rightfully yours."
"WHY YOU! I WILL KILL YOU! PIECE OF~"
"SHUT UP! You two will be quiet while I take charge here, your tiresome bickering is costing us valuable time, this is strange usually a battlecruiser has inbuilt facial recognition." under her confident exterior, she shared the same fear of the Lion Emperor's core elite guards, once she led her finest men into battle against thought they'd be defeated by firearms and overwhelming firepower of combined arms of charms, spells and powerful main battle tanks of the former united states army she smuggled into her many secret warehouses, in her horror she was dead wrong, tanks and firearms barely left a dent on them she hardly escaped them the memory of her chased from town to town caused her insomnia.
"In order to take full control of the ship… I need to input my own code, should not be hard… and, Done! We're in business!" Her moment of triumph won't last long, this was exactly how Harry planned it, as the doors suddenly open by themselves ten of the Lion's Emperor's core elite guards stepped in, surrounded them their wands pointing straight at her.
"Shoji Rin, by royal degree you are under arrest! On charges of terrorism and endangering millions of lives, and murder! Your relatives will join you soon, in a prison cell forever take her away!" Harry said, his guards confiscated her wand alongside the rest of her relatives, bound their hands and blindfolded their eyes by robust cryosteel handcuffs, designed to nullify both wizards and witches of their magical power severely the link for long periods of time rendering them unable to cast any spell or charm.
"This is far from over Emperor! One day when I get free of these restraints, I'll hunt you down and KILL YOU, DO YOU HEAR~" cut off by Ron tired of hearing her voice cast a new charm he invented.
"Sleepus Dreamous" Shoji eyelids felt heavy as she dozed off as the world around her becoming utter darkness, stole a quick glance at Ron.
"Get … you … be … my boy~~~fri~~~~end~"
"Well Ron, you have a secret admirer, did you arrange a secret date or something?" Unknown for Harry, Shoji proved time and time again a slippery target, causing him intense frustration escaping him whenever he tried capturing her leaving him flirty letters when he seemingly caught her, the turning point came when she agreed to turn herself it after spending nights sharing her past with him, opening herself up to him convinced him she wanted to turn over a new leaf yet at last moment changed her mind.
"She's just a bloody lunatic nothing more! Can we please move on, I'm running late on my date with Hermione." turned on his heel leaving the main bridge apparated leaving Harry alone attempted to plot a course back to the prime castle, only to be stopped as a single large snowflake appeared in front of the console, its sky blue light shone upwards as Elsa's face took shape.
"Sorry Darling, but you are needed elsewhere the coordinates are sent to you now you should there right now!" her tone sounding urgent.
"The Hungarian Horntails? I thought the threat was already contained?"
"If only Darling, the threat is imminent you need to be there, I'm sending you seventy Dumbleclass and seven Gorgon Battlecruisers comprise of our newest Tomcats, they should get the job done hurry before this situation gets out of hand." Hardly before the transmission was terminated did she sent numerous crews specialised in different parts of the battlecruiser, giving Harry a completed crew shortly before the armada arrived.
"Helm, how many Tomcats are there?" watched them lined up in formation in front of the battlecruisers, while the battlecruisers form up on his left and right.
"Three hundred and seventy sir!" Harry briefly stared at them in awe before regaining focus.
"Helm, take us at max speed to the designated coordinates, red alert! All hands to Battlestations, bring us in!" All battlecruisers activated their autocannons opening a large portal, thanks to recent upgrade and breakthrough in Magriktech, every battlecruiser regardless of class were given the ability to make short and long distance jumps anywhere at any time, travelling at considerably less amounts of time.
Above London the battle raged on, the damage done to prime empress Anna's gorgon battlecruiser became extensive, struggled to contain the rampaging Hungarian Wormtails pouring from the experimental portal, designed specifically to be a lure posing as pheromones the idea originated from making powerful love potions, posing as female dragons for the three most aggressively dangerous dragons, first the Hungarian Horntails, accompanied by the Ukrainean Ironbelly following the Hebridean Black, which sought new breeding grounds in the midst of doing so constantly attacked the cities of London, Hamburg, Paris also Stockholm, at first were going well until too much power were prematurely pour in causing it to malfunction, starting as a small portal spiralled out of control pushed the limit caused it to overload, the dragons numbered in hundreds regained their control of their senses focused their attention on Anna's ship, pounding it repeatedly with their powerful flames stripped away shields, prime empress Anna and lady Cho Chang found themselves surrounded as the battlecruiser took a beating.
"Your Majesty! Incoming fireball!" cried the helmsman.
"Evasive Maneuvers! Target that horntail and his friends, enough playing games, shift to lethal force!" he did it, maneuvering the battlecruiser into position.
"Targets locked! Confringo autocannons ready!"
"Fire!" The front autocannons unleashed exponentially powerful rapid firing bolts, firing rapidly the crimson bolts aimed straight for their bellies upon impact disintegrating them one by one, the other horntails tried to intervene suffered the same fate.
"They're retreating. We've won!" The helmsman could not be further the truth. A strong explosion rocked the bridge causing most of the consoles exploded in front of the crew, some flew off the chairs hit the ceiling, Anna slightly injured momentarily shocked fought the urge to panic, search frantically for an undamaged console, except for the massive cracks making it painfully difficult for her to see what she was tapping found only one barely operational.
"Work, Dammit! WORK!" despite her efforts, the console refused to respond.
"Reboot?! Now is not the time~"
"Here is your reboot!" withdrew her wand. "Oculus Reparo!" the cracks instantly disappeared, her problems however were only starting, suddenly feeling lightweight her feet suddenly floated off the ground.
"Gravity system is offline!" Grab the sides of the consoles. "NO! Dammit! Attention, anyone hear me? Respond! This is prime empress Anna, can anyone hear me?"
"Empress Anna? This is… is … Lady … Cho … here, do … you … hear … me?" Anna barely saw her face over the console, the static covered her like a thick veil.
"Cho! Can you hear me?"
"Yes, your voice is distorted! What… tsk… tsk … is … going… on, losing… main … core … power, gravity …" Anna's ears sense an ounce of fear in her voice.
"Cho, focus on me, you need to restore gravity controls, to do so, I need you to overwrite the code preventing manual control, understood?"
"Too… far, everyone is dead! Blast doors are… sealed tight, I'm trapped, there is no way out, there is no way out~"
"Lady CHO! PULL YOURSELF TOGETHER! This ship is going down and we need to get gravity up, or this ship will be our tomb!" the static cleared just enough for Anna to see the fear in her eyes.
"I can't … I can't … I CAN'T!" Cho breathing heavily as her hands shook uncontrollably, Anna watched in horror as Cho's finger reached to cut off transmission.
"Cho! What are you doing… NOOOOOOOO!" But it was far too late, the main gravity controls were located closest to the science section of the ship, Anna tried repeatedly using her codes but the system remained unresponsive, slamming her fist on the console.
"DAMMIT! CHO CHANG!"
"Oh ... No…" Anna's eyes widen, the fires caused by the dragons repeatedly bombarded the ship caused significant damage across all decks, reached main engineering as the ship took a nosedive downwards, the bridge windows cracked as Anna held on firmly the cracks grew till they shattered Anna lowered her head, but failed to dodge a single large window shard seared itself deep into her right shoulder.
"AAAARRRRRGGGGHHHHHHH!"
By now the entire ship was on fire, the auto-turrets totally knocked out, the worse had arrived as Anna stared at big ben reaching closer and closer, as alarms blare warning of the incoming crash, fires rose from the floor of the main bridge, as the lights went out and the console shut down, there was nothing she could do if this was her end mentally spoked one sentence in midst of the beautiful landmark.
"I'm… sorry… Elsa~"
Cho sank in her chair the lights flickering, tears flowing freely like a waterfall, as the memory of her former boyfriend Cedric, he was the most hardworking student in Hufflepuff doing what many students could not, a student of big dreams and expectations to match, his lifeless body lay in front her, staring coldly in the bright shining sky, the Triwizard Tournament took its toll in a way none anticipated to be her first and only boyfriend, despite all odds positively hope it would all be over like a fleeting nightmare but the nightmare never left her, returned to haunt her once again oblivious of her imminent death.
