An Ultimate Betrayal-Ch 7
Penelope sat there remembering what happened earlier, she remembered getting the pictures and message and the question was could she still trust him, could she still trust her heart to Derek Michael Morgan".
When Penelope was finished with her searches she was free to go and as she headed up the hall toward Dereks office she felt her heart racing. The closer she got to his door the more she wanted to confront him about the pictures and message.
She wanted to find out just who that woman was he was kissing, how could he have done that to her. Penelope shook her head and walked right by Dereks door, she would confront him but not now, not here.
Derek looked up just in time to see her walk by his door with her things in her hands, he walked over to the door and said, "baby girl". She looked at him and then turned and continued her way to the elevators.
He looked at her and said, "baby, wait", the elevator doors opened and she stepped in and pushed the button for the parking lot. Derek ran toward the elevator doors but before he could get to her they closed in his face.
Reid looked up and saw him standing at the elevators, he got up and walked out to see what was wrong. Derek put his hand on the elevator door and said, "why baby girl, why didn't you answer me, why didn't you wait for me".
Reid stood there looking at his friend and said, "what's wrong, who just got on the elevator that you were wanting to talk to"?, Derek said, "baby girl, I called out to her but she just shrugged me off".
JJ and Emily looked up from their paperwork and saw Reid talking to Derek, Emily nodded her head and the two women went out to join them. Derek said, "she's been acting different today, I don't know what's wrong".
Emily said, "what's wrong out here"?, Reid said, "Derek and Garcia are arguing I think" and Derek said, "that's just it, we're not, we're not arguing". JJ said, "I'm missing the problem here then" and before she could finish her sentence Derek ran for the stairway.
Emily and JJ looked at Reid as he said, "something tells me this has something to do with what happened at Morgans, with the whole destroying the inside of his house thing" and JJ and Emily nodded their heads yes in agreement.
Meanwhile in the parking garage Penelope walked mindlessly toward her car, she still couldn't believe it, she couldn't believe that her hotstuff was cheating on her but with proof right in her face, how could she deny it.
She opened her door and tossed her things inside and was getting ready to sit down when Dereks arms wrapped around her from behind. He said, "baby please talk to me, please tell me what's going on".
Penelope stood there not speaking, not moving, not doing anything but crying and Derek felt her body shaking so he turned her around. His heart broke when he saw the tears streaming down her face.
He reached up to wipe them away and she said, "why Derek, tell me why"?, he said, "why what goddess"?, the rest of his heart shattered when he heard her whisper, "are you cheating on me"?
