Chapter seven:

Kaoru turns to glance to Kira. "I'm going to check something."

Kira turns his attention to look to Kaoru. "Did you see something?"

"I did but I am just not sure if it really is anything to be worried about." Kaoru admits in which Kira nods his head in go ahead.

"Be careful."

Kaoru turns away and heads towards the alleyway while reaching for his gun that he has with himself. He makes it to the entrance to the alleyway and peers around what he can see of said alleyway from where he stands. He doesn't notice anything so he cautiously heads in further having one hand on the handle of his gun. He keeps himself alert by listening for footsteps and watching for any movement. He finds a turn to another part of the alleyway in which he cautiously peers around. He spots someone standing there looking around ahead of themselves with their back turned to the ginger haired male.

The person standing there appears to be a female as seen by the curvy tight fitting knee length sleeveless black dress, and red heels that expose a bit of her foot. She has rather long sleek red hair and appears to be on the taller side. She raises a hand tucking some hair behind her left ear revealing said ear to be torn, though the tears look fully healed. Her skin appears to be rather pale.

Kaoru moves into the entrance way to the part of the alley she is in. He stands so she can't see his hand on his gun. "Excuse me miss?"

The woman pauses then spins around to fully face Kaoru in which his eyes meet with her hazel ones. She looks a little more western than Japanese. "Who are you?" She questions taking a step back.

"I could ask you the same thing." Kaoru counters and keeps alert for any sign of a possible ambush. He doesn't hear anyone else. "What are you doing here in the alleyway at this time? Are you lost?"

The woman shifts then glances around as if rather nervous about something which makes Kaoru feel more suspicious of her.

Kaoru swears that if this ends up being an enemy then he is so going to kill her. He won't let an enemy waltz into this area without any punishment.

"A little. I am looking for Kira."

At this Kaoru aims his gun at her in which her eyes widen as the gun is pointed right for her slightly busty chest. "What do you want with Kira?" He demands ready to shoot this lady. He is barely holding back on doing so wanting to be sure before he kills her. He doesn't want to get in trouble for shooting someone innocent. Though he swears she is looking pretty guilty of something.

"You must be a new member." The woman seems to relax as if realizing this. "My name is Lorine. It is nice to meet you. I didn't think Razzy would introduce a new member at this time."

"What is taking so long? Is everything alright?" Kira questions causing Kaoru to turn slightly to him before turning back to the lady. He follows the others gaze then his whole face lights up. "Lorine! It's been so long!"

Kaoru lowers his gun as Kira races over to the woman only to share a hug with her.

"Sorry I've been gone for so long." Lorine apologizes and the two pull apart from their hug. "I had to extend my little trip. Things didn't go as smoothly as I wanted." She glances around herself. "I think I've been gone a little too long. I got a little turned around."

"It has been a year." Kira mentions while Kaoru puts his weapon away. "Some houses have been built and we lost the old base. There is so much for you to catch up on."

"I can tell." Lorine looks to Kaoru in which Kira turns to him as well.

"Oh. Right. Kaoru this is Lorine. She's a member of our group." Kira turns back to Lorine. "He just joined very recently."

Lorine nods her head. "Well it is good to see that Razzy can still be a bit unexpected. I didn't think he'd welcome another member while I was gone."

"We should tell Razzy that you have returned." Kira turns and begins walking to lead the way. "Come on you two."

Kaoru and Lorine begin following Kira as they start to head on back.

Lorine falls into step next to Kaoru. "So how do you like the group so far?" She inquires turning her head to look down at the ginger haired male since she is taller than him.

"I like it." Kaoru responds feeling a little more comfortable with her knowing that Kira is also pretty relaxed about her. "I think it's something I needed in my life."

"That's good. I am sorry I wasn't there to help welcome you." Lorine smiles as Kaoru watches and rubs the back of her head apologetically. "You see I went on a mission out of town to try to earn some money for us. I sometimes take on assassinations." She lowers her hand and meets Kaoru's eyes. "I went to the nearby town to take down a man who fled there to escape owing Razzy a favour. After Razzy had saved his life. He wouldn't answer Razzy. I was sent because the man only knew Razzy. So I had to be away for awhile."

"I see." Kaoru gives her a soft nod of his head.

Kira looks over his shoulder to the two and him speaking gains their attention to him. "So how did your mission go? I mean I know it wasn't as you had hoped. But still."

"Oh. Well turns out that man was a bit harder to seduce and get alone than I thought. Even when I had to pretend to be dating him there was always two body guards with him. I finally got him to trust me to be alone with me. Convincing him that I'd only have sex with him if we were alone. I refused to back down about it. He eventually cracked and I took my opportunity. I hid for a little bit while I was being hunted before I could come home." Lorine explains and Kira gives her a smile.

"Well even so it is good to see you back." Kira turns back to where he is going so he doesn't run into anything.

"It is good to be back." Lorine agrees and slightly glances to the sky. "I missed being here so much."
