RAW is WAR: 4/5/1998
This week's episode of WWF RAW was live at the Richmond Coliseum in Richmond, Virginia. Currently it was Kane vs Goldust in a singles match, Paul Bearer accompanying Kane as usual. Goldust started the match off by hitting Kane with a right hand but Kane was barely fazed by the blow. He hit another right hand but Kane grabbed Goldust then kneed him in the gut before bringing a right forearm down across the back of Goldust's neck.
"You know you gotta wonder," JR says as Kane Irish whips Goldust off the ropes but Goldust ducks the elbow from Kane. "Goldust did not win the WWF Title last week and you gotta wonder if this is a form of punishment from Vince McMahon, for Goldust not winning last week."
Goldust unleashes a fury of right hands and gets Kane into the corner before going to work on Kane's right hand, the one that fell into the fire during the Undertaker vs Kane inferno match at Unforgiven.
"Is it punishment or is it coincidence?" JR asks.
"Wait a minute, come on." Lawler says as Kane shoves Goldust to the mat. "There you go again with your conspiracy theory, JR. What do you do, watch JFK all day before coming here tonight?"
Goldust strikes Kane's right hand and brings it against the rope,s trying to hurt the hand enough to hurt Kane but the Big Red Machine shows no pain at all as he pulls his arm away with a grunt while Goldust looks at him with wide eyes that he was not feeling the pain. Goldust comes at Kane who quickly knees the Bizarre One in the stomach.
"Goldust going for that right hand that was set on fire in the first ever Inferno match at Unforgiven, where Kane lost to his older brother, the Undertaker." JR recalls as Kane tosses Goldust right out of the ring through the middle rope. Kane exits the ring after him.
"Look at Kane's hand, that's gotta be infected." Lawler points out.
"Well I'm never going to get close enough to find out." JR says.
Goldust goes for the right hand again, wrenching it but Kane fights back as he and Goldust have a test of strength before Kane breaks it and grabs Goldust by the head then connects with a right hand to the side of the head, then delivers a forearm across the back. Kane grabs Goldust and tosses him back into the ring before following after him.
"You think that underneath that mask, if Paul Bearer really is Kane's father, Kane looks like him?" Lawler asks since Paul Bearer revealed he was Kane's father and that he had an affair with the Undertaker and Bladewolf's mother which conceived Kane.
Suddenly the crowd begin cheering loudly when the Bladewolf and Undertaker run down the ramp, going straight for Paul Bearer and attack him, beating down on him. Kane sees this and instantly goes to help Bearer, grabbing Undertaker by the hair by Undertaker punches Kane as Bladewolf continues his relentless assault on Bearer.
"Bladewolf attacking Paul Bearer! He's not stopping!" JR says.
Kane exits the ring and grabs Undertaker before tossing him into the steel steps than grabs Bladewolf who turns around and attacks Kane witha fury of right hands. Undertaker joins in as the two brothers fight their other brother, heading up the ramp. Referees and backstage officials come out, trying to break the two apart but nobody was brave enough to go near the three destructive siblings as Kane was assaulted by his two brothers.
The fights goes past the curtain as Paul Bearer recovers from the attack.
Sorry this was another short chapter. But it was mostly about Bladewolf finding out about Kane being Paul Bearer's son, meaning Bearer slept with Bladewolf's mother and so of course Bladewolf would be very angry at learning about this.
