Chapter 7: Dreadful Pursuer
"Do you know who she is? Luigi?" Anne asked her brother in worry. "Wait a minute, are you one of the Holy knights." The boy questioned the woman. To both the siblings surprise. The female Holy knight grabbed them by the throats and lifted them up in the air.
The siblings screamed and gasped for air. "Please...don't." Anne cried in fear. "I should be most grateful, if you please inform me how should one enter the Negrobalish." The woman asked in a neutral and polite tone.
"As if...we...ever tell you." Luigi was being strong against the woman's grasp, but to his worry his sister started to struggle. "Brother...I can't breathe...at all." Anne was gasping for air and pleaded for a brother.
"Now be a good boy." The Holy knight asked in a polite, but threatening tone. Luigi had no choice. "If you share the dead...your precious memories will lead you to the city."
"I'm afraid I don't follow you." The woman was confused by the boy's answer. "How can we know more about the land where the dead go?" The boy and sister wear nearly to their deaths.
"The dead." The woman said, before she suddenly smiled. "Oh I see, very helpful."
The woman dropped the children and they fell flat on the ground. Luigi picked himself up and noticed the woman raised her hand and ready to pierce the children with her gauntlet. "Don't!" Luigi shouted in fear. The female Holy knight raised her hands down. The boy and his sister closed their eyes ready for death to come and they heard flesh getting stabbed, but they didn't feel pain or anything. They just feel fine.
When both siblings opened their eyes, they were in shock and horrified. For some strange reason committed suicide and stabbed her own heart with her metal glove. Her body just hangs as it is still standing.
"Ban!" "King!" "Sir Ban!" "King, come back!" "Ban, where are you!" Meanwhile in the Negrobalish. The two sins, Ben, Hawk and Elizabeth were walking on a crystal bridge as they were looking and calling for their now missing allies.
"Man, where those two run off to now." Diane was getting annoyed and angry. "Maybe I should use one of my aliens to track them. Now where are they?" Ben activated his Omnitrix and tried to find the right alien he wanted or needed, but for some reason the watch scrolling slot is out of control. It's swirling on its own and the alien slots are being replaced with other random aliens. "That's weird?" Ben was confused.
They still kept on walking, until Meliodas stopped. Elizabeth was holding Meliodas from behind since she is afraid of the new environment they were in.
"Is everything okay?" Elizabeth asked the sin in worry. "I don't think we are alone here." Meliodas said as he looked around and frightened the princess. Elizabeth also looked around. "I don't see anyone but us."
"Yeah, no ghosts have appeared or tried to scare us or anything?" Hawk agreed with the princess, but also confused why they are the only ones here and dead people.
"Actually I would be terrified if one have." Elizabeth and Hawk then shivered in fear, imagining the possibility of a ghost appearing. "Some can become transparent or invisible if they want too." Ben was busy trying to fix the Omnitrix, but he did pay attention to their conversation. The hero just had an idea and smiled. "They also could be here right now, watching us, listening to our conversation and we don't know where we could appear."
Elizabeth and Hawk shook more in fear as they imagined that could happen right now. "There is obviously no point in hanging around here. Why don't we look for those two, what do say." Hawk said nervously and fast. "I agree let's go." The princess immediately agreed with the pig as she pushed Meliodas forward.
Ben laughed a little from their reaction as Diane stared at him for pulling a prank like that. The hero just raised his hands and suggested he just wanted to have fun. The giant gave him a look of 'don't pull that stunt again' stare. Ben agreed with a nod, afraid he might actually get crushed.
In different part of Negrobalish. Ban was still pursuing Elaine as King was after the fox sin in the air. "Does he really think he can escape me." King said in a blunt tone.
King flew down and landed in front of Ban. The sin of greed noticed the young boy again and stopped his running.
"Your back again, huh phony King?" Ban sounded not too excited to see this boy again.
"You think I'm a fake, huh?" King wasn't offended or surprised that Ban said that King is a fake. "Yup." Ban said with a pop sound on the 'p' as he put his hands in his pocket like he doesn't care in the world. "No! I really am King." King gave a threatening tone towards the fox sin.
"Look, I'm busy and I don't have time. Now shoo." Ban wanted the sloth sin to get lost, so he could finally reunite with Elaine. "You'll see." King smiled in determination and will prove to Ban that he is the real King.
"Is that so?" Ban smiled and already felt the adrenaline that a fight might happen, but he doesn't have time for it. So he ran past King and ran to the direction where he last Elaine. King behind him and gave a neutral glare at Ban.
Ban still kept running, until he noticed King floating next to him on his right. "You haven't changed since the old days have you." King wasn't feeling surprised that Ban was the same as before when they were still a team. "As long as you get what you want. You couldn't care less if everybody gets hurt."
King quickly avoided a hand from Ban who tried to grab the sloth sin and Ban stopped his running again. In a blinding speed, he tried to grab King in the air, not even looking at his opponent. The boy still avoided the fox sin grasp.
Ban then suddenly smiled. "Well how about that, you really are King." Ban finally believed that boy is King. "I told you so." King gloats at Ban as he floats behind him.
"Then I won't have to hold back when I kick your ass!" The fox sin slammed his fist from behind and hit his target. When Ban looked behind and was surprised instead of hitting King, he attacked a pillow.
"You used to back hand, back in the old days." King was a few meters away from Ban and stood on one of the crystal pillars.
"So you come back to settle your old scores with us, huh...or do you have a specific target in mind King." Ban said to the sloth sin, but he didn't know that King has two targets. King glared at the sin of greed. "Back in the past. This will be the very last thing for our reunion." King sounded like his past self would have to regret what he will do to Ban in the future.
"But I was cast out, suspected of treason from the realm with nowhere else to go. I return to my homeland." King explained his past and forced to remember what happened to his home. "But what I found there was heart rending of my homeland burned beyond all recognition." A flashback of King wearing armor witnessing his burned home and trees and last part a golden pedestal on a large coal tree.
Out of Ban's surprise, the pillow transformed into a large bear shaped doll and immediately captured Ban in a flash. The bear captured Bans by the limps and prevent him from escaping. Ban struggles to break free.
"When I was with sins with you. I must admit...that I really didn't give a lot of thought." King said. "Why a human like you should be unkillable. Never once have I thought you killed a guardian to drink from the fountain." King continued, before he flew down towards Ban.
"Now wait just a minute...how do you know about that woman." Ban was surprised and questioned King as the grizzly sin grabbed Ban by the shirt. "The person you killed in the forest. That my little sister Elaine!" King shouted angrily at Ban.
Both sins glared at each with a neutral and angry look. King greeted his teeth in anger, before he calmed down and floated away from Ban.
"Oh! I get it, you want to avenge by killing me, but the problem with that is...I can't be killed!" Ban shouted at King as he was smiling. King was faced. "If you won't remember, my sacred treasure has a variety of abilities." King explained to Ban, which latter was confused.
"Oh right, if your not interested to one here and out the other." King said and raised his hands. "Chastival third consideration: Fossilization."
"And that means?" Ban was still confused, but he didn't notice happening behind him. The bear chest was starting swirling around as a golden blade suddenly appear. "It does this." King said in a neutral enjoyment.
A spear popped out of the bear and stabbed behind Ban back. The spear pierced through Ban body that the two tips of golden blades appeared on the other side on the chest.
Suddenly Ban skin started to slowly turn to stone. "I been waiting for this moment...you watching Elaine." King said to his enjoyment and hoped that his revenge will satisfy his sister's justice. Ban gritted his teeth in pain as the stone started to become faster.
Back in the forest where a young Ban and Elaine hang out on the tree. Elaine said in sadness as she was looking at a book.
"I wish it would been me that Ban came to steel, instead of the fountain youth." Elaine whispered secretly to herself. "Should I do that too?" Ban was suddenly behind Elaine and overhearing her conversation, while he was eating berries. Elaine blushed and screamed in shock and embarrassment. "Y-You s-said your going to look out for something to eat." Elaine nervously said to Ban.
"Yeah, I found a bunch of lingonberries over there." Ban explained as he finished eating his food. "Now let get started." Ban teased as he walked slowly towards Elizabeth, hand raised.
"Don't tease me like that!" Elaine shouted, still embarrassed. Ban stopped. "Huh? I'm not kidding." Ban said with a serious tone. This surprised Elaine.
"I haven't had what you call...luck getting along with humans much...b-but you really listened to me and you take me seriously." Ban said with the truth and from the heart, surprising the guardian. Elaine blushed from Ban's words and amazed her. "No I can't. I'm flattered but...I have to protect the fountain of youth. This forest is..." "Hey, don't worry I got that covered." Ban reassured the girl. Elaine was surprised and curious how Ban would figure out a way for Elaine to explore and protect the fountain of youth at the same time.
"I can just go look for your brother and bring him back out here." Ban explained his plan. "You told him about him once. You remembered that you said he left a hundred years ago, but he shows up again you will be free and clear." Ban giving hope and joy to Elaine for one day to travel the world.
Elaine was about to cry and jumped on Ban, giving him a hug. Ban was taken off guard from the hug.
Out of nowhere growling sounds and roars came from a red figure and everything turned black.
…
Flames appeared out of nowhere, then suddenly the whole forest was on fire and trees started to turn black. Smoke and flames covering the skies in red and black. Ban gasped for air and felt pain in his body. "Ban easy." Elaine comforted Ban and made sure that he wasn't hurt too badly.
"What just...happened?" Ban questioned what could have cost a forest fire and knocked him out cold, until his eye widened when he noticed something in front of him.
There was a very chubby fat red creature laughing at the destruction it had cost. It has pink large lips, many sharp teeth. Has two curled horns, black eyes with yellow irises and cracks around the eyes. It has two arms with five fingers and black sharp Long claws, two legs and two very small wings.
"What the hell is that?!" Ban questioned in fear and shock by witnessing a creature he hasn't seen before in his life. "A demon." Elaine answered.
"A demon?!" Ban was surprised and flabbergasted in horror seeing it was his first time encountering one. "Nothing can burn the Fairy King forest, but the flames of purgatory." Elaine explained to Ban. "I always thought...the goddesses defeated them in the holy war and locked them away."
As explained and told the story about the creature's species, Ban remembered something important. "Is the fountain of youth okay." Ban asked, knowing if the fountain of youth is destroyed, the whole forest will be gone forever.
"Don't worry, I made sure." Elaine looked at a branch tendril next to her holding the cup.
"Good then you grab it and get outta here." Ban suggested for Elaine to escape as he picked himself up and headed towards the giant demon. "Wait! You need to come with me." Elaine called out to Ban in concern and fear for her friend. "The demon hasn't noticed us yet, let's go now."
Ban put his fingers on his lips suggesting that Elaine be quiet. "Shh, I'm gonna do a little surgery, while it's back is turned." Ban picked up his weapon and prepared to attack. He just has to wait for the right moment.
The demon roared and breathed out a large amount of flames from its mouth, burning everything the flames could touch. The force of the flames nearly pushed Ban, but he still held his ground. Ban still waited for the right moment.
"Now." Ban outstretched his staff and the weapon started to glow. The magic chain staff pierced the monster back and snatched the heart from its body. Ban pulled back the staff and caught the heart on his right hand. The heart is spilling dark purple blood.
"Ha, just one shot." Ban easily celebrated his victory though he defeated the monster. If the demon hasn't noticed them before now thanks to Ban overconfidence and stupidity. The demon looked behind and finally noticed it's prey. Ban was caught off guard on why the demon is still alive and standing.
"No! Ban no! A demon has more than one..." What's left of Ban's vision was that Elaine was trying to warn him, but it was too late and everything went black.
"If you have a deathbed confession. I've been willing to listen on what you have to say." King was being generous and allowed Ban to have a few words, before his death. "but of course, I won't forgive what you have done."
Ban just smiled and laugh as the stone is reaching and covering his head. "What's so funny? Don't act tough must be driving you crazy." King was curious about what Ban's mind was thinking, mocked his old ally.
King just stared as a now fully statue Ban, who was still smiling. "Goodbye Ban." King said farewell to his old friend, finally avenging his sister's death.
The sins and the group were still looking for Ban and King, not knowing that one of them is down. "There is no sign of them" Diane looked around, even with her height she still can't find anybody.
"Maybe they just got board and went back to the real world." Hawk was guessing, since the pig was getting a little tired finding them. Ben was still wondering what's wrong with his Omnitrix, until he noticed everybody stopped. The hero was confused, until when looked ahead of then. He noticed there was a woman in their way.
"Um, guys who that?" Ben asked his friends if they knew who this person was. "Hello, Meliodas the dragon sin. How do you do Diane the servant." The woman greeted and ignored the other three. "My name is Guila, a Holy knight." The woman introduced herself. Ben senses and instinct immediately and reaches for the Omnitrix.
"Wait? How did you get here?" Hawk questioned the knight. "Simple, by dying." Guila bluntly answered. Ben was utterly shocked and terrified on why anyone died just to reach here, since there was an easier way.
"Did she say...she got here by dying." Hawk wanted to make sure he was the only one who heard that. "Yup." "She sure did." The two boys answered the pig.
"Then that means this lady is bad news isn't she." Hawk sweat is nervous and horrified at this lady.
"Afraid so really bad news." Ben hand still hovered over his watch and prepared for a battle, but what he didn't expect was when Guila pulled her blade from her sheath and raised it in the air. A powerful force and wind pushed and blew Ben, Elizabeth and Hawk away, while Meliodas and Diane weren't faced by the power.
Ben felt pain on his body, when landed near Elizabeth and Hawk. "Man, that's some kind of power." Ben commented, but deep down this is gonna be a serious fight. 'I think she likes Vilgax level?' Ben thought, before he activated the watch.
The lady pointed her blade towards Meliodas. "Hawk take Elizabeth and get as far away as possible!" Meliodas told the pig to take Elizabeth to safety.
"Will do." The pig didn't easily accept and didn't argue. "Come on Elizabeth, piggy back ride." Hawk offered Elizabeth to ride on him. "Okay." Elizabeth quickly got on Hawk and the pig immediately ran off. "You will believe a pig can fly." Hawk jumped off a bridge and ran off road to a different direction. The pig didn't know where he was going, he just wanted to get away as far away from the upcoming battle and make the princess safe.
"Try to save you three!" Elizabeth called in worry. The sins and the hero were already prepared for battle, before a flash of green light blinded the area.
Hawk running as fast as he can and jumping on crystals far away. The pig jumped higher on more crystals. "Jump, jump and away!" He jumped so high, it's like he really is flying. Hawk jumped over a small ravine to the other side.
"That holy knight Guila is dangerous, it's what my wild instincts are telling me." Hawk to have a conversation about the lady, still freaked out about her even though they are far away.
"I felt the same thing too." Elizabeth believed the pigs words. "Huh? you did?" Hawk was shocked, but then he finally stopped next to a large crystal pillar. "Piggy breaks!"
"We should be far away by now." Hawk was relieved and felt safe. "Maybe too far." Elizabeth was shocked how far away they are, but she knew that they were safe.
It is what they would have thought when a green smoke and crystal breaking sounds appeared on the large crystal. They slowly turned around and their bodies went pale.
Meliodas was in a cracked crater and he slowly lifted himself up. "Ouch" That what the dragon sin said, before he heard a call from Diane. He looked down.
"What the two of you are still doing here, keep going!" Meliodas warned and told them to keep running. "Step on it!"
"Are you kidding me!" Hawk didn't try to argue, but he complained that he had gone running again.
"INCOMING!" Meliodas was about to get off the pillar, until he heard something heading this way. He looked up and noticed a large yellow ball was heading her way with blinding speed, not enough time to dodge.
"Oh, this is gonna hu..." Is what all Meliodas can say, before the ball made contact and a dust explosion took place. The ball passed through the crystal pillar, taking Meliodas with it and crashed into another. Another dust explosion took place, as shards and pieces of the pillar fell apart.
"Ouch, I think my shell just cracked." "Can you get off me...please." When the dust became cleared the ball was on top of Meliodas as both were surrounded in shards.
The ball uncurled itself, becoming a chubby white creature with black lips and a line in the middle of the body, Black claws and toes, green eyes and has a yellow shell. The Omnitrix symbol on its belly. This creature is known as Cannonbolt.
Meliodas used his strength and tried to push the alien off him. "Man, you're heavy." Meliodas compliant. "Hey, I'm sensitive about that." Cannonbolt remarked, but a little hurt physically and emotionally.
Meliodas and Cannonbolt finally got up and stood on two feet. They were about to head back, and suddenly the sky started to become dark for some reason. They looked and saw Diane heading straight for them, but also a small narrow and sharp crystal spike which could easily pierced Diane back.
Cannonbolt in a hurry curled himself into ball and spin towards spike. Cannonbolt increased its speed and destroyed the spike, but he didn't move away before Diane crashed onto him. Diane groaned and noticed something round and hard on her back.
The Giant picked herself up and looked down at her own crater, but she noticed that Cannonbolt was in a deeper hole.
Diane gasped in worry "Ben! Are you okay?!" The giant sin asked the Arburian Pelarota, hoping she didn't accidentally kill him. "I-I'm f-fine...but I think I'm stuck." Ben tries to uncurl himself, but the small tight hole prevents him from doing so. Diane helped the hero out of the hole and gently put him down. Where Cannonbolt finally uncurled and stood up, but feeling a little dizzy.
"Diane the serpent sin." Guila called as she slowly walked towards the sins and Ben.
Diane looked behind and glared at the knight. "In doubt the possibly the most greatest physical strength of the sins." Guila says she is analyzing her opponents. "As a giant a close relationship bonds with the earth and manifests the magic ability of creation." The knight continued. "I have been forward to seeing it in person."
'Wow, she did her homework.' Cannonbolt looked ready to charge at the knight as Diane didn't seem impressed. "And what do you think." Diane said sarcastically, raising her hands in a boxing position.
"Frantically a bit disappointed, it didn't quite lit up in the stories." Guila bluntly said with a disappointing tone. Ben gritted his teeth in anger from the female knight's disrespect to Diane.
The giant just glared at her opponent, before she gave a grin expression. "Then let see if you like this." Diane pumped her fist together, held and rotated her hands together. She lowered down and her closed fists touched the ground.
To Guila surprise, she felt that her body was descending down. The knight looked down and noticed the ground below turned into quick sand as the sand swirled around. "It's sand whirl. We can also take minerals and turn them into sand." Diane explained her attack. "Just a little FYI."
Cannonbolt was amazed and impressed by the giant ability to control earth.
"Oh, I see most informative." Guila said as she seemed the knight not too surprised or impressed, just a neutral expression. Guila sank down into the quicksand, until she was gone. Ben thought they were safe, but to his surprise an explosion took place and Guila flew high in the sky out of the trap. A dust followed her.
Diane with a surprised gasp noticed Guila in the sky and saw her smile. Diane easily scraped out a piece of crystal and threw at the knight.
When the large piece of crystal was near the target. The tip of Guila blade made contact, before a sudden explosion took place and destroyed the crystal. Small shards and debris flew around.
The force of the explosion was so powerful. Diane fell on her back and destroyed crystal pillars nearby, while Guila safely landed on the tip of a pillar.
Guila senses Meliodas nearby and dodge his sneak attacks. Guila jumped away from the dragon sin as Meliodas gave chase. She flipped and safely landed on her feet, while Meliodas prepared a karate chop at the knight.
Guila blocks the hand with her sword. The force of Meliodas' strength cracked the earth beneath them.
"The legendary captain of the Seven deadly sins, Meliodas." Guila announced, while holding her strength against the blonde. "Your might may not lead to the stories I heard, but it's quite a strange thing?"
"I noticed your not using your sword." The female knight wondered and quite found it interesting why her opponent doesn't use his weapons. Guila jumped back.
"You think, your bare hands can stop me!" The female knight charged towards the dragon sin, blade first. "Well, if you really want to know." Meliodas reached his sword. Adrenaline of rush and excitement for Cannonbolt and Diane, since they knew what would happen when Meliodas pulled his sword. "Captain has her now." Diane cheered.
The woman was close and her blade nearly touched the blonde boy, but his broken blade made contact with Guila weapon and her explosions backfired on her, thanks to Meliodas magic named counter.
"Wow, amazing!" Ben even though he did witness Meliodas fight with his sword, but he never saw Meliodas use his special magic. He only heard the stories from Diane and Meliodas himself.
"Oh I see." The group was shocked. The smoke from the explosion started to clear up and Guila wasn't faced by her own attack. "So your magic ability is full of counters. If there is any offensive magic directed at you, it reflects the caster at double strength. Fascinating." Guila said with interest. "In short, the more powerful your opponent, the more fearsome your defense, but that also means your weakness is not to be able to initiate an attack."
"I get it, you knew that so you've been holding back your own ability." Meliodas sounded impressed in Guila's strategy.
"Now, it's my turn." Cannonbolt charged, before he curled up into a ball again. The alien rolls towards the knight, but she easily dodge. "And finally the Shapeshifter that Gilthunder warned us about, to be frank I thought you would be a challenge." Guila was impressed with Ben's transformation.
"You haven't seen anything yet." Cannonbolt rolled and jumped at a crystal tower. Guila thought that Cannonbolt crashed into the crystal, due to judging the weight and speed the Arubian Pelarota was going.
Sadly she miscalculated the Cannonbolt hard, but also the rubbery shell. Cannonbolt bounced off the pillar and headed straight towards the knight. She easily dodge, but that didn't stop Ben.
Cannonbolt jumped and bounced off another crystal, then straight to Guila as Cannonbolt became faster each time he bounced around nearby crystals. Later it becomes a dodgeball game, since Guila kept on easily dodge the hero's speed.
"Interesting. Even though this transformation shell can bounce off and survive and help you gain more speed, it is very interesting." Cannonbolt gained such speed that it became a yellow blur and he nearly got the knight this time. "But can it handle my blade."
As on que, every went into slow motion. Cannonbolt directly headed for the Holy knight, while she slowly pointed her blade towards the alien. The blade made contact with the shell and an explosion took place surrounding the duo.
Cannonbolt was sent flying and crashed into a pillar, shattering and breaking into pieces. Anybody would have thought with close range explosion they would surely perish, but not Cannonbolt.
Thanks to Arubian Pelarota's hard and indestructible shell, the hero can survive any attack, even a planet's entry. There were dirt marks on the alien shell, but no permanent damages or scratches.
"Ouch." Cannonbolt might be indestructible, but they do have limits and still feel pain.
The smoke of the explosive started to clear up as Guila slowly walked towards Ben. "Hmm, I guess that shell can handle my blade. Interesting." Guila smiled, but Ben can feel creepy intent from her.
"I hope you like diamonds, because I'm giving away free gifts." Cannonbolt remarked, which Guila turned her head in confusion.
The Arubian Pelarota jumped and landed on the broken shards. He started to spin around, the holy knight thought he would charge again, but he didn't. Cannonbolt just kept spinning, even faster.
To her interest and surprise, the shards underneath Cannonbolt spun around and flew right towards her. Guila quickly reflects them away. The shards were then used as fast bullets as Cannonbolt kept spinning. "Most impressive." Guila comment.
Meliodas used this opportunity as a distraction and charge towards Guila. Meliodas jumped high and kicked the knight by the side, she was sent flying.
Meliodas jumped after his opponent. Cannonbolt stopped his attack and rolled towards Diane. "Diane I got an idea." Diane moves closer to Ben and listens to his plans. "Ok, what's the plan."
"While Guila is distracted by Meliodas, I want you to kick me as hard as you can." Cannonbolt explained as Diane eyes opened wide in shock and disbelief thinking Ben was suicidal or crazy.
"What! Are you crazy?!" Diane shouted at the hero. "Yes I am, but this is the best way to finally get that crazy lady." Ben said with confidence. Diane was about to refuse, but stopped as she noticed something in Ben's eyes. The giantess can see the determination and no fear. "Come on Diane with your giant strength and my curved wind protectory. We can create enough speed to at least catch up her pace and defeat her." The hero explained.
Diane thought through Ben stupid and erratically plan, but he does have a good point. Meliodas and Guila were now classing swords with incredible speed. When swords class, sparks appear and the sound of metal singing.
Both intercept again. Trying to power each for dominance, while they stare at their opponent's eyes. "Impressive, you're really strong." Meliodas complimented the knight, showing his confident smile. "Why thank you. I always try to keep myself in top shape." Guila commented.
"Sadly my conversation will come to an end, when I take your head and show it to my superiors." Guila grinned with a demonic glee. "I like to see you try." Meliodas dispatched his connection from Guila and slammed his fist on the ground, creating a dust smokescreen. Blinding the female Holy knight, before the blonde jumped out of the cloud.
This was an opportunity Ben needed. "Now Diane!" Cannonbolt curled himself into his ball form. Diane reared back her right way up in the air. She used most of her strength kicked down on the Arubian Pelarota.
Thanks to the power and force from the giant strength, Cannonbolt ball form became a yellow blur as the ground beneath shattered and the sound barrier broke. Cannonbolt flew past the smokescreen and made a hole in the cloud.
The alien didn't stop, Ben continued and hit through three crystal towers, until he crashed on the last one. Crystal shards collapsed and dust explosions appeared from the crash.
Meliodas appeared next to Diane, amazed at how far the Arubian Pelarota flew. "Did we get her." Diane was curious if they managed to even defeat or even injure their opponent, but she was concerned for Ben, hoping that Cannonbolt shell would protect from her kick.
"I hope so." Meliodas sighs a bit relieved that it might be over. He likes a challenge, but even the captain of the Seven Deadly sins has limits.
"That tactic was good, but futile."
Both Diane and Meliodas tense up as they sweat dropped from shock and fear. The dust clouds fully and Guila was standing on her two feet, but it seems Ben's plan nearly worked. The force from Cannonbolt speed dispatched part of her armor on the right side and her right arm was dislocated. Dangling on the side.
"If I didn't move in time, that move would have seriously damaged me." Guila said, before she used her left arm to fix back her right. A crack sound came from her arm and shoulder.
"Now we're getting somewhere, I hope you are ready." The holy knight raised her sword and she moved in a stance. "Because I'm going all out."
"Diane keeps Guila busy. I'm gonna check on Ben." Meliodas commanded the giant. Diane was about to complain at her captain, but he disappeared in a flash.
Diane pouted in disappointment and anger, before she positioned herself in a boxing stance.
At the last part, the crystal tower, where a large amount of debris was gathered together. Where Cannonbolt crashed. The debris started to move, before they fell apart as The alien hero lifted himself from the ground and fell down again.
"Owww." The hero groaned, then the Omnitrix timed out and surrounded Ben in green light turning him back to normal.
"Ben!" Meliodas jumped and landed next to the brunette. "Ben, are you okay?" The sin of wrath asked the hero if he is fine. Ben opened his eyes and stared at the captain.
"Oh, hey Kyle...it's b-been so long. How...you been?" Ben sounded a little out of mind and a little dazed. The hero could barely stand up. Meliodas carefully lifts Ben by the arm. "Man, that kick did you good, huh?"
"My n-name...is Ten Bennyson and I'm...the greatest dancer." Ben blabbed, then he started weird noises. "Okay, I think we should take you somewhere safe." Meliodas then dragged Ben, so the brunette wouldn't get hurt than before. Not a large shadow appeared over them.
Meliodas looked up and sigh. "Not again."
Meanwhile back with King and Ban. The statue of what once Ban the fox sin of greed smiling at his old comrade. "No words of repentance even at the end. huh?" King sighed. "That's so you Ban."
King sounded that he felt sympathy and pity for the fox sin, but he's main goal is finally over and now he has to move on what he has committed. King commanded the spear, removing it from Ban's chest, before the spear turned back to normal in a whirl of wind.
"Then suffer alone in all eternity, never finding redemption or peace. Unable to move a muscle or to die." King said as he started to float away from Ban, his spear followed behind. "That's fitting, since you take everything from Elaine. You earned your place here."
As King was floating away and not looking back at his old ally, not until he felt a presence behind him.
King turned around and spotted something he had never seen before, he was surprised. Multiple balls of lights were floated in front of Ban. "What is that?" King was confused and curious about this light.
"Is this something Ban doing?" The sloth sin couldn't understand and know what was happening as he landed on the ground. "Right now he should be totally powerless." King was still analyzing what's this light that appeared, but then something came to his thought.
King spear dropped and pierced the ground. "Or...or is it Elaine." King wanted to believe that light was his dead sister, but he wasn't sure. "Are you here!" The fairy called out to his sister.
For Ban even though he was a statue, he felt something or someone familiar kissing his lips. Feeling the presence he hadn't felt in a long time. Suddenly the statue broke into pieces and Ban was back to normal.
"What!? It's broken...the petrification." King became flabbergasted that his spell was broken and couldn't process his mind, how the spell broke.
Ban still kept a smile on his face, but it was a genuine and happy smile towards the one person he always wanted to see again. Instead of multiple lights, Ban can see who it really was..."Hello Elaine."
King felt the world stopped as he couldn't believe what he had heard. "It can't be." The sin didn't want to put his hope too much.
"Ban, how on earth did you get that scar?" The ghost of Elaine spoke to Ban, which sadly for King perspective he still can't see his sister.
"I thought guys watch over us from the other side." Ban playfully sounded a bit hurt. "That voice it's really her." King sounded happy to hear Elaine's voice.
"Elaine don't you recognize your brother." King called to his sister, wanting to see her. "Please show yourself to me too." The grizzly sin begged the ghost of his sister.
"Let him see you." Ban asked Elaine, feeling sympathy for his ally. The ghost shook her head and touched his cheeks. "Your in the Negrobalish, it's possible for the living and the dead to see each other again, but only bound by strong emotions." Elaine explained to Ban.
King overheard this and was shocked by this information. "I knew it was true, your still mad aren't you." He looked down in sadness and depression. "That I abandoned you. You and the fountain, I turned my back and walked away."
Elaine heard her brother's words and he said it was true. She was still mad at him, but even she can't stay mad forever. Suddenly a small earthquake shook the area.
"Wait a minute, is that a holy knight?!" Ban sensed that his friends were endangered and felt a strong presence near them. "No wait, Ban!" Elaine called for Ban, before he could run.
"Why did you come, what was the reason?" Elaine was curious why Ban arrived here in the first place.
"Nothing much, I only wanted to tell you one thing." Ban said as didn't look back. "I'll take what's mine, I promise you that."
This surprised Elaine as her heart skipped a beat, tears formed on her eyes. "Ban, what's more can you take from her." King immediately became furious and had a misunderstanding as he thought that Ban cruelty on Elaine wasn't done.
"Thank you, Ban." Elaine's voice thanked the sin.
King immediately became shocked and confused hearing his sister's voice.
Ban moved his feet and ran towards the directions where the sound came from. Now it was just King and the balls of light.
King fell on his knees and hands on the ground. "Why?"
As Ban continued running he remembered his past with Elaine.
The red demon slowly turned his head towards Ban. "No Ban no. A demon as more than one..." Elaine warned and flew towards Ban, but in a blink of an eye. A giant hole appeared on Elaine's chest and stomach as her bow broke apart, but she wasn't the only victim. Ban somehow has a deep cut on his right shoulder that reaches to the side of his abdomen, also dislocating his right arm from the main body. Both Ban and Elaine fell.
Smoke demon appeared on it's left eye and it laughed at it's fallen victims.
Ban laid on his back slowly losing strength and felt death near his grasp. Elaine slowly crawled towards Ban as a tree branch moved the fountain of youth between them. "Ban...here...you must drink...the water." Elaine pleaded and wanted to save the person she loves. "Please Ban." The branch of the fountain towards Ban mouth, but he caught it in midair with left hand and slowly moved the cup towards Elaine.
"N-No...y-you...drink...it." Ban insisted that Elaine should drink the fountain, but she shook in disagreement.
Ban was about to argue, but he didn't have enough strength to speak anymore as he was close to death's door. All he can do is give his last smile as Elaine quickly took the cup and drank it.
Ban was happy, even though he was about to die. He was glad that he saved the person he mostly cared about. Ban eyes close and wait for death to take it's part, so he can go to the afterlife.
Suddenly felt something soft and smooth touching his lips, but not only that Ban was gulping down something sweet through his mouth. He immediately opened his eyes and saw Elaine kissing Ban not only to show she cared for him, but sacrificing herself by giving the water to his mouth. Saving instead of her.
The demon slowly walked towards them and raised its foot in the air. The demon stomped his foot on both Elaine and Ban, ending their miseries.
"You idiot." Ban and Elaine somehow survive from the demon foot and suddenly appear behind it. Ban wound was fully healed and his chain staff surrounded his shoulders. The demon looked behind and was taken back by surprise, which it then became furious.
"Stay here, it won't take long." Ban gently put Elaine down on the ground and raised his body. Out of nowhere the demon immediately grabbed Ban in a blind speed and the demon strengthened it's grip to kill Ban.
Then something cut through the demon fingers and flesh. The red demon raised its hands in pain as it's the flesh fell from it's four fingers. Revealing a few bones and dark purple spilling out.
As for Ban he grasps his weapon as he gains new wounds on his body. Blood spilled from his body, but it didn't last long as they started to disappear.
"Lets play a little game." Ban getting furious. "Let's see who gets turned into mince meat first!" Ban charged towards the demon, as both were prepared to have a long battle.
"I don't understand this." King couldn't fully think as he doesn't know the truth behind Elaine's death. "How can you forgive Ban, the man who stole everything from you, destroyed the forest." King still believed that Ban was still responsible.
"After you abandoned our country. I had to endure 700 years of total solitude." Elaine stated. "But he wiped away those 700 years of loneliness in just 7 days." King listened to his sister stories. "Ban knew you were my brother, so he deliberately hedged you on. He let you spear him."
This information shocked King. He looked up, but he didn't see multiple balls of lights, instead he could finally see his sister.
"He isn't the man, you believe him to be." Elaine said to her brother. "E-Elaine!" King sounded surprised.
Back with Ben and the sins, while the battle still continued. Ben who was passed out and protected in a small rock shelter created by Diane, so that the two sins can concentrate on their opponent.
Diane touched the ground with her left finger and summoned a pillar underneath Meliodas launching him into the air. Guila eyed Meliodas in the air as he dived towards the Holy knight.
The blonde brought out his sword and moved for an attack, but Guila intercepted Meliodas sword with the tip of the knight blade. Sparks appeared between the swords.
But what Guila didn't know was that the dragon sin was a distraction as Diane appeared and grabbed Guila with her left hand.
A light suddenly appeared in the giant's palm. Diane was taken off guard, after an explosion took place sending two of the sins flying.
Diane landed her back and Meliodas landed on the giantess right leg. "You really need to try harder." Guila said with an unimpressed tone. Both sins raised their bodies to look at their enemy. Diane groaned in annoyance and anger.
Guila was slowly walking towards them, while flaming smoke appeared on the edges of her blade. "With poultry attempts like that you can't fight my magical abilities called explosion." The flaming disappeared, when Guila moved her blade. The knight was about to attack again, but suddenly for some reason she couldn't move her blade.
"Sorry about that, got to stop right there." Ban was behind Guila as his hand reached out to the knight. "Ban." Meliodas sounded excited to see his best friend.
"It's Ban the fox sin, would you kindly let go of my rapier." Guila politely asked as she looked behind her new opponent. "Hey, I take offense at that lady. I'm not taking anything from you." Ban innocently spoke, the fox sin moved his middle finger increasing some type of force pulling Guila weapon. Guila quickly used both her hands trying not to let go. "Oh, I see. This is your magical ability Snatch." The holy knight identifies Ban magic.
"Very well, I'll give you something more appropriate for a sneaky thief, like yourself." Guila smirked, before a small flame orb on the tip of the knight rapier and sent flying towards Ban.
Ban was confused and didn't notice before it was too late. The orb appeared next to him and a giant explosion appeared, smoke and force blinded the sins. The shelter that was protecting Ben was barely holding together. A small pebble fell on Ben's head waking the hero from his sleep.
After the explosion, Ban lay in a crater as his body paralyzed and numb due to the explosion. The sin lost his shirt; only what's left of it is on his left arm. Scars, blood, burn marks appeared on his body and steam coming through the wounds.
Guila approaches towards the sin. "I have heard you were indestructible, but that even you should keep out the fight for a little while." Guila stated, before she jumped high when Meliodas was about to trip her, but sadly missed. He jumped after her. "Now now." The knight smiled before her weapon produced a smokescreen and she disappeared.
Meliiodas was taken off guard, he couldn't see where his opponent went. The female knight appeared behind him and Guila used her exploding repair on Meliodas. He was sent flying.
"Captain!" Diane shouted in worry as she caught her crush with her hands.
"Even if your full counter potentially guard all my attacks and reflect them." Guila gloated. "It doesn't oppose a threat to me, if you can't anticipate their direction and timing." Guila giggled in amusement.
Meliodas groaned in pain on Diane's chest. "Are you alright." The giant smiled in joy. "What are you so happy about." Meliodas complained towards the envy sin.
"Are you alive in there captain." Ban finally recovered and cracked his knuckles for anticipation.
"I admit, I am impressed. Your indestructibility is very nice indeed." Guila praised Ban ability. Meliodas jumped off Diane's chest and landed on the ground. "Better believe it, there is no way you can beat somebody you can't kill." Ban gloated.
Guila giggled. "Unkillable and unbeatable are two different things." She informed the sins as a flame appeared on her blade. "If I wanted you down for good any number of ways would work." The knight sounded a bit more serious.
"Damn, this cheek is starting to freak me out." Ban cracked his knuckles again in excitement. "Do you think she is right?" Meliodas stated, sounded like he was a bit worried. "Why don't you two save the chatting for later, okay." The giant said to the two boys, while Guila gave a smirk.
'Man, my head hurts what happened.' Ben touched his head in pain as the hero was still sheltered. Ben then heard an explosion nearby and looked through the cap of the hole in the crystals shelter.
Ben spotted sins fighting the female knight and he was impressed how Guila is easily taking care of even when Ban joined. "Man, how am I supposed to defeat this lady. She is way too powerful for any of my heavy hitters and I don't I can use speedster too since her explosion will keep them off balance, then who." Ben was concerned that they wouldn't win this battle and he tried hard to figure which alien to choose or best suited for this battle, then a small crystal hit his head.
"Ow!" Ben groaned and rubbed his head to soothe the pain, until he looked down at the crystal and looked around his surroundings. "That's it!" Ben got an idea, before he heard a beeping noise from his watch. "And just in time too. Time for an old favorite." Ben activated and scrolled down his watch, before he was surrounded in a green light.
King was left alone with his sister, ignoring the noises of the explosion. "Why can I see you?" King questioned his sister. "If possible to see me now, it's because I want to understand Ban." Elaine asked her brother. "In Fact I want you to save him."
"Elaine..." King wanted to speak to her sister for long, but he was sadly interrupted by Hawk and Elizabeth. The pig slid and crashed, getting too tired and Elizabeth flipped off the pig back and landed on hers.
"Okay, that's enough I got to stop here or I'm pooped." Hawk too tired to move and groan in exhaustion. Steam came out of his nose, while Elizabeth picked herself up.
"A pig and a girl?" King was confused on who are those two individuals and how they get here, but then he remembered his sister.
"Elaine!" King called out to his sister, but she disappeared out of his sight.
"Hmm, excuse me sir King right?" Elizabeth started getting King's attention. "And you are?" King asked.
"I'm Elizabeth, long story but I'm travelling with Meliodas and the others." Elizabeth introduced and shortly explained. "And I'm the order of scraps d..." "With the captain?" King ignored and interrupted Hawk, only getting his attention was on Elizabeth.
"Yes, a holy knight has appeared here and is fighting sir Meliodas and Diane right now." This info made King a bit surprised.
"Wait? Is sir Ban here with you?" Elizabeth looked around to try to spot the fox sin. "I'm sure she is going to go after him as well. I got to warn him about it." Elizabeth looked determined to look for Ban, so that she could warn him. King looked down in thought. "So let me guess, you want me to go and save them." King expected that the princess would cry and immediately respond with a yes.
"Your spear."
"My what?" King looked up and noticed that Elizabeth was holding his spear with left hand.
"Run as far away as you can. I'll borrow this and go fight her." Elizabeth said in determination and confidence as she tried to pull the spear. King was taken off guard and surprised by her words and action.
Elizebeth was trying so hard to pull the spear. "Do you even know how to fight?" The grizzly sin questioned the princess.
"I'm always the one, being rescued by Sir Meliodas, Diane and Ben." Elizabeth put more effort. "But it's time to be useful to try to save them for a change."
"Elizabeth no don't-alright fine." Hawk immediately gave up changing Elizabeth's mind and immediately got up and tried to help Elizabeth pull the spear. Using his teeth to pull. "Let's knock that silly little grin off that cheeks face, it will be awesome." Hawk mumbled through the metal handle.
"Yes, Hawk pull we're on...our sir Meliodas." Elizabeth continued.
"Were coming for you Diane, just hang in there." Hawk mumbled.
"And sir Ban and sir Ben, I want to be a hero like you."
King only knew them for just a second ago, but for some reason their words and actions started to inspire something in him.
The spear was finally removed from ground and was raised in the air. "Yes alright. We did it!" The princess chanted in excitement. "Easy as pie." The pig mumbled and puffed steam in happiness, until both Elizabeth and Hawk were in the air while holding the floating weapon.
A giant explosion appeared and obliterated the entire area, destroying crystal pillars into smaller pieces. Dust clouds and smoke covered the area.
"And what do we have here?" Guila said, while walking through the smoke.
As the clouds started to disperse, the knight can see the giant Diane used her body to protect Meliodas from the explosion. Burn marks covered her body and dirtied her clothing. For Ban he was covered in blood and burn marks, since he took the hit.
"Even if my explosion wasn't in full power. I'm impressed you didn't go flying with the pressure wave." Guila was impressed by Diane's defense, but she was also very amused by how challenging she is making for the sins. "The strength of you giants is truly something to behold."
"Hey captain, you okay?" Diane opened her eyes to spot the captain safely on her hands. "Yeah, thanks a lot Diane." Meliodas praised the giant.
"If you were gonna take the hit, you could've shielded me a little." Ban complained and asked the giantess.
"Nope." Diane immediately declined.
"Great." Another complaint from Ban mouth, removing the blood from his body.
"Captain...I think I'm not gonna make it...send me off with a sweet kiss." Diane pretended to be weak, so she wanted to get affection from her crush. "Just rest a little and you will be okay." Meliodas walked off and pulled out his sword. Diane blows her cheeks in disappointment.
"Time for me and you to wrap this up." Ban and Meliodas ready to attack and finish battle.
"This is the legendary order." The female knight sounded very disappointed, before she noticed both the fox and dragon sin heading towards her. She released an explosive fireball towards Ban, who jumped back in time. Meliodas ran behind the knight and tried to attack, but Guila snapped her fingers. Suddenly a smoke screen appeared out of nowhere blinding the blonde, before a foot made contact on his chin sending him flying. Ban appeared on top of her and attacked the female knight, but Guila avoided his punches and pierced his throat with her repair. Ban spat blood from his mouth.
"In the end, I suppose mere legends are fear fantasies anyways." Guila stated, before she sensed something coming her way. Out of nowhere a spear blade pierced back through his chest, but sent Guila flying and crashed into a large crystal, before it collapsed on her.
Ban was a bit confused and down on his chest, noticing the spear. King arrived in thin air and stepped on his spear behind Ban.
Ban looked behind him and saw King. "Hello there, Ban." King greeted.
Guila picked herself from the debris, before a crystal blade appeared right in front of her. "Sorry, I was late for the party."
Guila looked up and stared at her new advisory. "Hmm, Interesting I wondered when you will be joining us again...Ben Tennyson." Guila smirked.
Another flashback the flames and smoke were gone, but the forest was completely burned. What's left are charcoal trees. As for the young version of Ban, who was sitting next to a dying Elaine. A dead carcass of the demon laid in the distance.
"Take this." Elaine gave a pink leaf with one seed on it to Ban. "It's the last seed in this forest. Planted somewhere...so it grows." Elaine gasped between her words. "No! You can do that yourself!" Ban refused that the girl he loves is about to die, he wants her to stay with him. "Now stay with me!"
"The forest...it knew...it knew that he would...protected." Elaine gasp. "Who gives a damn about the forest, hold on Elaine!" Ban argued, and wanted his beloved to stay alive.
"I was...happier, than...I have ever been...with you." Elaine smiled. "When you said...you will take me...away...from this solitude." Elaine hand try to reach Ban. "Please, please...say it to me again. Properly this time..." Her hand touched Ban cheeks, while she asked her final offer to Ban. "You got it Elaine, one day I am gonna take you.." Ban didn't finish as Elaine had her last breath and her hand went limp. A teardrop on her hand.
"Let me finish damn it."
