Keith vs Alex And The Time To Go
I bet you guys know what's going to happen in this chapter don't you? Yes, the vicious barn owl Keith will be fighting Alex head to head, as he tries to stop Alex from stealing the girl he loves away from him! Alex has a lot of pressure on his shoulders, because he's never fought a highly trained guard before! Who probably has more experience in battle then Alexander had working for Armando! But now we come to another surprise twist! Who is this blue and gold macaw female assassin? We will find that out in the chapter after I'm afraid! But this will be an exciting one! Because…a question that was asked…in 'The Rise Of The Samba Club Part 1' will now be explained! I'm not going to tell you what it is! So how about you find out, eh?
The vast landscape of Cairo fell into a deep silence around this time in the day! But not only because it was the middle of the day!
It was around lunchtime, so a lot of the humans would either be eating at their homes, or they'd be out in the city eating in various restaurants or bars!
But in this secluded part of the city…our favourite snowy owl friend Alex…was about to take on the head of the guards, and Donkor's royal advisor Keith the muscular barn owl.
The two of them gazed at each other at a few metres apart, gripping their weapons tightly in their wings.
"You…haha…are gonna pay! For taking away the girl I love! She doesn't deserve to be with you snowball! Accept that!" Keith angrily spoke, as he bashed his talon on the floor to try and scare him. But Alex just smirked, and he didn't even flinch.
"It's precious that you think she would ever love you! You are nothing but a heartless, cruel asshole! Who is stubborn as the day is long! You don't serve the affection of my wife! Neither do you deserve the affection of anybody!" Alex spoke back in a taunting manner, as he started swinging his nunchucks around in a threatening way.
They circled around slowly a few times, to anticipate who was going to make the first attack.
Blu, Donkor, Siax, Fernando and their surprise guest were all waiting on the side. Trying to figure out who could win out of the both of them.
Blu was pretty confident in Alex's abilities, but he did have his blade gauntlet at the ready, with Fernando besides him if things got rough.
"I think Alex might win here! He's a natural with those nunchucks!" Siax praised her husband's skills to her friends who nodded their heads in agreement. "Plus, he's very quick on his talons, so he could dodge swiftly without tiring out or feeling nervous!"
"I don't know…that barn owl is quite strong! I think it's too close a call!" The blue and gold female remarked as she crossed her wings. "I remember my first fight when I did my training! God, the amount of times I got flipped on my back was a nightmare! Especially since I had to be dragged here by my father!"
Blu and Siax looked at each other for a brief moment, and the burrowing owl female motioned with her head to basically get him to ask her about her situation.
"What? Why me?" Blu whispered in a panic, as he felt a little unsure about asking her.
"Come on Blu? Be a man for samba's sake?!" Siax angrily muttered back, and slapped him on the back of his head.
"Fine!" He sighed in defeat, and slowly tapped the female on the shoulder, causing her to turn around and face him.
"Yes? What's the matter?" She asked sweetly with a friendly smile on her beak.
"So…I never quite got your name miss?" Blu asked her while extending his wing to shake with hers.
But all of a sudden, she felt quite ashamed and lowered her head before backing away slightly.
"What's wrong? Don't you like shaking wings? Because we can shake talons if you'd prefer?" Blu asked as he stuck his talon out.
"Oh no…it's not that! I just…I don't…have…a name?" She replied sadly as she lowered her head to the floor. "I never chose a name for myself! Especially after…it doesn't matter!"
"Oh….why not?" Siax asked as she grew intrigued by her behaviour. "And before what? What happened?"
"Look, I'll tell you everything you want to know later on if that's okay? Let's just watch the battle!" The female replied a little irritated that she was being asked all of these insanely uncomfortable questions.
"Sure…if you wish so?" Blu responded, as the five of them returned their faces back to the fight.
Alex got tired of all this circling around him, and thought he would start by taunting his opponent, to get him to make the first move. To anticipate how he was going to attack. Then finding out how to defeat him.
"Oh Keith…if only Siax had of stayed in Egypt with you?! Maybe you might have been future King one day?!" Alex mocked him while waving his nunchucks in front of him. "But, I guess even a PEASANT like me can be a better choice for a husband than the likes of you!"
"GRRRRRR…" He started growling in rage, while every few seconds taking a step forwards to threaten Alex into stepping backwards. "I'd keep your mouth shut kid! You have NO idea who you are messing with, do you?" He asked rhetorically, as he stomped on the floor again to get him to feel scared…but once again Alex didn't flinch!
"And let's not forget the way you look?" Alex started up another insult, as he gave him a disgusted glance while looking him up and down. "Tut tut tut! What a state you are in!"
"What about the way I look?" The barn owl rose his eyebrow curiously. "What do you mean by state? Explain yourself!"
"All those sit ups, all those pull ups, and all that heavy weight training that you must have gone through! Unfortunately for you, it still wasn't good enough to keep Siax in your life! Because she has found someone…WORTH…being with!" The snowy owl mocked him again, while making whiny faces to further infuriate his opponent. "Someone WORTHY of her affections!"
"Oh…you are…so dead!" Keith softly growled, before lunging towards his opponent with his metal bat. But luckily Alex rolled out of the way, and performed a back flip, so he could create some space in between them.
"Miss me! Miss me! Now you gotta kiss me!" Alex continued to taunt him while clucking like a chicken, so he would attack again. "Oooh look at me?! I'm Keith! I'm soooo strong! I can crush a mango with my bicep!" He kept taunting him in a high pitched girly voice.
"SHUT THE FUCK UP!" Keith just growled and ran towards him at full speed, but as Alex went to roll out of the way, Keith anticipated his move by swinging his bat in the opposite direction. Causing the snowy owl to fly back onto his back.
"Oooooh! That's gonna leave a mark!" Blu remarked, as Siax couldn't bare to watch as she buried her head in his chest feathers.
"Time for the…HOME RUN!" Keith screeched as he jumped into the air to bash Alex's skull in.
But…Alex thought he would do something very clever! By using his nunchucks, he swung them around his talon and pulled him over his head. Making Keith land on the sandy landscape head first, causing blood to drip from his nose.
"Ooooh…that's gotta hurt!" Fernando remarked, as he hid his face behind his right wing.
"Ughhhhhhh…AHHHHHHHHHHH!" Keith screamed in rage, as he lost all control in his emotions. He wiped the blood off his nose and sprung back onto his feet. "YOU ARE JUST DELAYING YOUR DEATH!"
He grabbed Alex by the talon and threw him over his shoulder, slamming him on the floor with a huge thud.
"Ouch!" Alex muttered, before noticing that Keith was coming in for another attack on him. Meaning he had to make a quick decision. "Oh shit!"
He rolled out of the way just in time, before Keith buried his bat in the sand. Then Alex whacked him brutally in the face with his nunchucks, and performed a triple back flip to avoid Keith's attacks. Causing him to lose all of his control as he tried every attempt possible to land an attack on the snowy owl! But the problem was, he was moving and flipping way too fast for him.
"FUCK OFF! STAY STILL! STAY STILL SO I CAN BASH YOUR FUCKING BRAINS ON THE FLOOR!" Keith kept screaming with every swing, but the snowy owl male was just too quick to get away from him. "STAY STILL YOU LITTLE FLUFFY BITCH! YOU ARE GONNA DIE TODAY!"
"Okay…my turn now!" Alex remarked as he started swinging his nunchucks around his wings like a ninja warrior. Then wrapped both of them around his neck. But without even thinking about it, he pulled Keith's head towards him, and gave him a really nasty head butt. Making him spit out more blood on the floor. Causing him to really tremble in rage.
"Now, it's time for the ultimate attack!" Alex remarked as he swung his nunchucks towards Keith…but the most horrific thing happened!
Keith caught one of the handles in his wing. Then slowly stood up to face him, with that intense fiery insane look. And pulled the handle towards him, before delivering a really powerful and strong punch. Making Alex fly backwards a few paces. Pulling the nunchucks completely out of his wings.
"Now it's my turn to even the playing field!" He picked up his baseball bat, and without even thinking about it, he hit him really really hard on his butt, knocking him into a wooden wall, where he crashed straight through it. Causing his friends to gasp in horror.
"ALEX!" Blu, Donkor and Siax all screamed as they looked to see that their friend was struggling to get up.
"Well…looks like you won't be needing this anymore!" Keith remarked in the cockiest tone ever, as he once again…did something else really horrific!
He snapped the nunchucks in half, breaking the chain in the middle!
He then threw them on the ground, and brushed the sand over it so they were completely out of sight.
"Now…Alex…prepare…to…DIE!" Keith screeched as he lunged towards the snowy owl at a rapid speed. "FAREWELL SNOW BITCH!"
"HONEY! LOOK OUT!" The burrowing owl female screamed to her husband, who luckily managed to gain his consciousness back.
"Oh crap!" Alex whispered as he ducked out of the way, and made a fly for it back to the battlefield. Causing Keith to crash head first into the wall heavily, causing him to groan in dizziness.
"Ughhh…that…was just lucky!" He groaned in annoyance, as he splashed some water on his face from his container.
Alex finally made it back to the battlefield…but there was just one problem? Where were his nunchucks?
"Oh no! My nunchucks! Where are they?! WHERE ARE THEY?!" Alex shouted in a panic, as he rummaged through the sand to try and find them, with not that much luck. "WHERE ARE MY BLOODY NUNCHUCKS?!"
"Alex, he destroyed them! Take this!" The female blue and gold female demanded as she tossed him what looked like some kind of grenade. "Don't ask me what it is! Just pull the pin out, drop it on the floor! Then we will make a run for it!"
"Wait what?! No! I can take him!" Alex replied, as he saw that Keith was still groaning from crashing into the wall where Alex escaped from only seconds ago. "I just need a weapon!"
"Alex, you are dying out there! We can't let you keep doing this! It's better that we try to escape!" Blu remarked as he patted him on the shoulder.
"But I can kill him Blu! I can't let that asshole hurt anyone else! I'm not going to let him live!"
"We aren't asking you to let him live! His time to die will come!" The blue and gold female once again advised her, as she got everybody in a position to escape.
"But…But…" Alex tried to defend his choice, but his father in law had managed to convince him to change his mind.
"Son, she's right! You are getting killed out there! Just do what the young lady says!" Donkor warned him, as they noticed Keith slowly gaining his concentration back on his enemy. "I can't lose you this early my boy!"
Alex looked back and forth between the grenade and his enemy approaching them slowly. Then back to Siax, who nodded her head at him in a loving and nurturing way.
He knew that he could take him…but he also doesn't want to put Siax in any further danger again!
"Fine! Get ready to fly!" Alex remarked in defeat, as he held the grenade up, and got ready to take the pin out.
The muscular barn owl male, finally managed to gain back his consciousness, and narrowed his eyes at the snowy owl male once again, who had blood dripping from his nose and jaw.
"Right…Now you are going to pay for that!" Keith once again screamed as he ran towards them at full pace.
"Not if we were never here!" Alex replied cockily, as he pulled the pin out of the grenade, and dropped it on the floor. Which made a really incredible effect.
As the grenade exploded, a huge cloud of smoke came shooting out of it like a foggy winters night!
But not just that, it also managed to shoot out a load of shrapnel, that surrounded the floor in front of him. Causing problems to both Keith's sight, and his talons.
"NOOOOOO! OW! OW OW! WHERE ARE YOU?! WHERE ARE YOU, YOU COWARDS!" Keith screeched as he swung his baseball bat everywhere, in the hope of landing one of the hits on his target. "WHERE ARE YOU?! WHERE ARE YOU?!"
After a few minutes of him screaming in a deathly tone, and searching for his enemy…the cloud of smoke finally dispersed…revealing…nothing!
"What? No…No…NOOOOOO! WHERE ARE YOU ALEX?! WHERE ARE YOU?! YOU COWARD! YOU AND ALL OF YOUR FRIENDS WILL DIE! ALL OF YOU WILL DIEEEEEEEE!" Keith kept screaming in rage as he continued to bash his metal bat on the floor. "DIE! DIEEE! DIEEEEEEEEEEEEE!"
Meanwhile…
Luckily for our favourite feathery friends, they managed to get out of there as quickly as possible. Donkor was leading the way, because he was leading them back to his home.
But Blu and Alex were convinced that Keith would just find them back there anyway. So they had to be very clever to defend themselves if he does decide to track them back to the building.
"Donkor! Why are we going back to your home? Won't Keith just find us there?" Blu beamed as they saw the building a few metres away from them.
"Don't worry my boy! I have a new strategy in mind for this!" The older owl beamed as he flew up to four of the guards who were standing near the front entrance. "Max! Jacob! Dean! Tom! Warn all of the guards that Keith has betrayed us! He tried to kill the princess! And tried to kill my son in law! I want all of you to watch every possible exit and entrance! We cannot let him back inside! Do you understand?!"
"YES YOUR MAJESTY!" The four of them shouted simultaneously, as they bowed their heads and immediately got to work on gathering everyone up.
"I've also notified my fellow assassins to watch the city for any movements of Keith! Don't worry, he won't be able to find us!" The blue and gold female responded while the others smiled at her.
"Okay, everyone get inside now! Go to the main hall…and we will discuss our next move! GO!" Donkor shouted with a fiery voice, as they all obeyed and flew into the building, followed by the king with a panicked look on his face.
We Go To Jewel And Mandisa Now (Minutes Before Their Arrival)…
Louie was just sitting on a fluffy bean bag in the corner of the room, with his head in his wing as Jewel sat just besides him, explaining what happened to his sadly deceased brother.
"So…Michael found him in the samba club…but there was nothing that he could do! I'm sorry Louie! I really am!" The blue spix's female sadly spoke while rubbing his back in a comforting manner.
"I just can't believe he's actually gone? I mean…Diante? All he ever did was help people, and didn't even think twice about his own needs! Did you know that he even broke up with his girlfriend after four years, just so he could be a healer?" Louie explained with a heavy heart, as he leaned back in his bean bag with his head in his wings. "He gave up his own love life…because of his love for helping people!"
"Wow…four years? Was she a bit of a bitch then?" Mandisa asked as she relaxed in her chair in the corner of the room.
"Oh no, she was an absolute delight! But where she wanted a family, and wanted to move out of São Paulo, he wanted to become a healer! So she became enraged and promised that one day he would suffer what's coming to him! But that was the very last day that she saw him!" Louie responded before drying his eyes. "Anyway…Diante was much happier helping people and being a good doctor, rather than being with Lucia, that's for sure."
"WAIT! WHAT?!" Jewel jumped to her feet in surprise. Then gazed at the white hawk with a very horrified expression.
"What? Was it something I said?" The white hawk male replied confused as he looked back and forth between the blue spix's female, and an also confused queen.
"Louie…what was…that name again?" Jewel asked curiously, moving her wing up to show a little annoyance.
"What? Lucia? What about her?" He responded cautiously, as he was still unaware that Jewel knew who she was. "Does that name mean something to you?"
"Oh…my…god! We gotta go home!" Jewel whispered to herself as she turned back around to face Mandisa. "I'm sorry, but I have to find my husband and Alex, and Siax and get back home to Rio as soon as possible!"
"Woah sweetie, calm down! What's the matter?" Mandisa replied with a bright smile as she stroked her on the back. "Are you having hormone problems again?"
"NO! You aren't listening to me! Lucia…she is with Michael back in Rio!" Jewel bellowed one complete disarray. And started to sweat quite nervously.
"WHAT?!" Both Mandisa and Louie shouted in unison, with their jaws dropping in the process.
"This all makes sense now? Diante's death wasn't just a coincidence! It was Lucia! She was the one who ordered Omar to kill Diante, over her relationship with him ending! That's how he knew where he was!" Jewel clarified as she clapped her wings together. "So…we now know who was behind the murder of Diante! Lucia was the one all along!"
"JEWEL!" Suddenly, Blu, Alex, Siax and Donkor came bursting into the room. Startling the three birds who were all sitting in the main room.
"What the? There you are guys! Wait…who are those two?" Jewel asked curiously as she was referring to the blue and gold female macaw, and the military macaw male. Who both just stood there waving at her nervously.
"We don't have time to explain honey! We gotta get out of here! We are going back home, right now!" Blu demanded as the two owls started packing some food and water to go.
"Wait! Slow down! You aren't making any sense?" Jewel tried to calm her husband down. But before he had the chance to reply, the female blue and gold macaw spoke up.
"Keith just tried to kill Alex and Siax! Now he's on the lookout for them! We have to get to the airport as quickly as possible, while my allies and the guards will create a diversion to get rid of Keith!" The blue and gold female explained in full detail while patting her on the shoulder.
"I'm sorry? Who even are you?"
"I'm sorry, I don't have a name! But what I do know, is that if we stick around here, we are all going to die! Trust me…start preparing for our departure!"
"Nobody is going anywhere, until I get an explanation to all this rushing around! So everyone just stop talking all at once and SPILL THE BEANS!" Mandisa screeched in a loud and booming voice.
Causing everyone in the room to stop what they were doing, and gazed at the queen in surprise.
"Okay…I don't like raising my voice! So please…please don't make me do this again?! I don't like using my voice like this!" Mandisa spoke again as she softened her expression and lowered her wings back to her sides.
Blu stepped towards the queen, and took her wing with his and stroked it in a friendly way.
"I'm sorry Mandisa…but Keith tried to kill your daughter as well as Alex!" He softly spoke while stroking her wing in a soft comforting manner.
"What? But…But…He's been our most trusted head of the guards for years?" Mandisa replied with disbelief.
"I'm afraid so mom…he tried to rape me at first, but when I tried to escape he started attacking me!" Siax sadly spoke up, while Alex wrapped a wing around her. "If it wasn't for Alex, Blu, dad, and these two kind strangers…I'd be dead right now!"
"Is this true?" Jewel asked with a shocked expression, as she saw them nodding their heads sadly. "I knew there was something off about him!"
"That's why we need to get out of here your majesty! We can't stay here now…with Keith looking for us, we aren't safe here anymore!" Blu sadly added, and stopped stroking her wing.
"Well…Your wife here did find out some important information, that might want you to get home faster!" Louie pointed out, as he added himself into the conversation.
"Really? What is it Jewel?" Alex asked in concern, as he approached his blue female friend.
"Lucia…used to be in a relationship with Diante for four years!" Jewel started explaining, while covering her face with her wing.
"Yeah? How does that make any of this interesting?" Siax asked the next question with curiosity in her eyes.
"IF YOU LET ME TALK BIG HEAD, I'LL TELL Y…Sorry Siax! Hormones!" Jewel blushed in embarrassment, as her friend just smirked at her.
"It's okay, carry on?"
"Anyway, he broke up with her to become a healer! And she swore to him that he will get what's coming to him! Don't you know what this means?" Jewel asked rhetorically with her wings raised above her head.
"That…Lucia liked to sleep around the white hawk family?" Fernando suggested while raising his wing up in the air.
"No, you fucking moron! It means…that SHE is the reason that Diante was murdered!"
"What?! What are you talking about?" Blu asked with a slightly confused expression on his face.
"Honey…don't you think it was a bit strange, that as soon as Lucia came into our lives…our friend, and the guy who broke her heart was murdered on the same day?! Tell me that it's not a coincidence?"
"Oh my god! If what you are saying is true…then…oh no! We have to get back to Rio and warn Michael!" Blu beamed in a panic as they all started to gather some supplies.
"Okay, if you guys want to make a clean escape, then I will also organise an escort to take you to the airport safely!" Donkor remarked as he flew off to find a few of his most trusted guards.
"My assassins have already begun work on the distraction for Keith for when he arrives! I think it's safer if the king and queen remain here! Safe inside these walls!" The blue and gold female spoke up as she placed a wing on Mandisa's shoulder. "It's for your own protection your majesty!"
"Oh…I just…I just can't believe this! You were meant to stay the whole week? And now…now you have to leave?!" Mandisa sadly whimpered, while covering her face with her wing.
Siax slowly walked up to her mother and wrapped her wings around her in a tight embrace, making her return the gesture in that same loving brace.
"I'm sorry mom! I wished we could have stayed longer too! But me and my family must go home now! They need us to be there in case anything goes wrong!" The young burrowing owl female remarked while wiping away her mother's tears. "But don't worry! As soon as this war is over…we will come back to visit!"
"I'm afraid it's not so simple!" Donkor remarked as he reentered the room, and also wrapped his good wing around his daughter. "Once you leave here, the only way that we could see each other again is if we come to visit you!" He replied with a warm smile.
"Are you serious? You actually would?" Alex beamed with a warm smile.
"Of course son! Please…approach me!" Donkor softly spoke as he opened up his wings.
Alex nodded his head in agreement, and slowly walked up to his father in law, who placed both his wings on both of his shoulders.
"Listen to me my boy! You…are the most incredible…amazing…and most selfless bird I have ever met! I have never been more proud of my daughter's choice for a husband!" He smiled at him, as a small tear escaped his eye. "Protect her…my son! With your life! You are the worthiest of the worthiest for my daughter! Now go! Start preparing for your departure!"
"Yes Donkor!" Alex replied with a bright smile as he went to turn away, but the king turned his head back around to face him.
"Call me…dad!" He simply replied, as the king and queen wrapped both their wings around Siax and Alex.
"Yes…dad!" Alex replied a little choked up, and turned towards the queen. "May I call you…mother?"
Mandisa nodded her head as a yes, and her smile brightened as she tightly embraced them. "Nothing would make me happier! My son!" She replied sweetly as she kissed him on the forehead.
"Okay! Now we need to prepare for our departure!" Blu beamed as he clapped his wings together.
"Okay…let's go home!" Alex replied with a choked up look. Then got his supplies at the ready.
Now my friends, we are at the end of the 2nd last chapter! It has been an incredible journey so far hasn't it? We've met some new friends on this journey! We have had some funny moments as well as sad moments! We have met a new enemy who will be returning in the sequel! And we have a blue and gold female? Who is she? We will find out in the next chapter! And the return of Fernando from 'The Origins Of RDJ'! See you all soon for the final chapter!
