Kirby slowly opens his eyes, blurred vision struggling to readjust to reality. "For a ball with limbs, it's incredibly resilient. It'll definitely be an asset to the Enforcers," a strange voice says. Vision finally righting itself, Kirby notices that the voice came from the hooded figure. Next to him is a small bipedal dog wearing clothes. Both were enveloped in a shadowy aura like Mythra was. The dog says some gibberish. "Yeah, yeah, I got it." The hooded figure brandishes a blade coursing with electricity and slowly walks toward Kirby.
Suddenly, a sphere of curse energy flies into Robin's side, sending him flying away. From within the trees, Joker dashes out, Arsène in tow, rushing down the dog before punting her away. "Poyo!" Kirby squeaks in relief. "Don't worry, little guy, you're okay now." Joker reassures him. The hooded figure stands back up, wincing from the residual curse. "Another one? I was wondering what the commotion was. I guess that means the Spirits we stationed here got wiped out."
Joker aims the gun at the figure. "Who are you two?" The man takes off his hood, revealing silver-white hair. "I am Robin, former Hero of World 46697265 and Enforcer of the Light Armada. The dog beside me is Isabelle, former Hero of World 4c656166 and fellow Enforcer," he answers. "As I thought," Joker begins, "You're just like Mythra." Robin seems perplexed. "Mythra? So you've-" before Robin could finish, Pyra Flare Smashes both Enforcers at once, creating a large crater in the ground and rendering them unconscious. "I guess I made it in time."
The two round up the Enforcers and tie them up using wire Joker had with him. "What now?" Pyra asks. "We wait until they wake up and can give us some answers." Behind them, Kirby was gorging on oversized apples. "We can at least eat while we wait. This weird fruit probably doesn't taste too bad," Pyra says. They all do just that for a while.
Unbeknownst to them, however, Robin had already awoken and was tapping at something behind his back.
After about half an hour, Robin opens his eyes. He pretends to struggle to try and break free but to no avail. "Well, look who finally decided to wake up," Joker says. "Now talk. What is the Light Armada, what exactly are Enforcers, and what kind of world is this?" Robin scoffs. "What kind of fool do you take me for? I have no obligation to say anything."
Pyra walks over beside Joker and lights a flame over a finger. "Then I guess you won't mind a few burns, then?"
"Are you threatening me?"
"Only if you don't talk."
Robin grumbles. "It matters not. My life is of no consequence to the Light Armada. I would bear any injury for our cause."
"Really, now? Let's see how that will of yours holds up." Pyra walks forward, but stops quickly when Robin starts laughing. "I said I would bear any injury for our cause. That is to say, I won't have to."
Suddenly, a dark square appears under Joker and Pyra, but before they can react in time, a giant dark blade erupts from the ground and sends them both flying violently into the air, and they both come crashing back down unable to stand back up. Kirby looks frantically around the woods for the culprit, but there was no need. A haughty laugh emits from behind him amid the trees.
"Ah, yet another flawless display from Lord Ghirahim! Does my excellence truly no know bounds?" Ghirahim sneers. "Ghirahim sir, thank you for answering my call." The strange man raises an eyelid and puts a hand to his ear as if he were hard of hearing. "Hmmmm? Do my ears deceive me, or did I just hear an ungrateful, insignificant whelp?" Robin sighs. "Thank you, dearest Lord Ghirahim. Without you, we would have been lost." Satisfied, the Demon King moves forward and grabs Kirby, hanging him above the ground. The pink ball flails around fruitlessly. Ghirahim licks his lips. "Ohoho, we're going to have a LOT of fun with you all. I eagerly await it!"
