"Sir, we've lost contact with the Drop Ships..." Hux said. Despite the helmet covering his face, He could feel Kylo Rens eyes burning a hole through the back of his head.

Kylo stood there, thinking for a few seconds. "New order. Pull back."

Hux looked towards Kylo, but knew better than to question his orders. "Right away." He replied.

As Hux began to pilot the Star Destroyer further into the unknown galaxy, he saw that the other ships in the fleet following him.

Kylo adressed Hux, as Hux continued to pilot the fleet. "As of now, we lurk in the shadows. Until I give the commands, we don't return to the below planet."

"Understood, sir." Hux responded.

Kylo Ren walked off, but as he did, he pulled the Phantom Ruby out of his cloak. "You've got some very promising capabilities..." He thought aloud. "...You're The First Order's key to domination of this galaxy." As Kylo continued to walk off, the ruby gave off a small glow. "But I can't seem to do this alone..."

Kylo walked into a large room, with a large chamber. "It seems you'll need your full body, in order for me to gain your power..." Kylo walked further to the chamber. And got a good look at what was contained inside. "But, my master taught me a few things about cloning." A near perfect replica of Infinite was contained in the chamber. Before he awakened the clone, he opened the chamber door, and placed the Phantom Ruby back into Infinite's chest and then closed the door.

"It seems that you've learned the cloning technique well..."

The voice filled Kylo Ren's mind. The voice was of his master, Sheev Palpatine. Palpatine used the force to control Kylo's mind, making himself appear in front of Kylo, whilst making Kylo feel like he was on the planet Exegol. The planet where the true Palpatine was located, unbeknownst to the entire galaxy.

"Thank you, my master." Kylo responded.

"The item you've acquired, it holds a great power." Palpatine began. "I suggest you use it well."

"Understood." Kylo replied.

"It seems your clone is about to awaken..." Palpatine began, the vision of Exegol vanishing around Kylo Ren. "It would be wise of me to let you get back to the clone."

"Thank you, master." Kylo responded.

"You have the same spark as your grandfather." Kylo only heard what Palpatine said, as his mind returned him to the cloning chamber. One final sentence from his master ringing through his mind as he returned.

"You will accomplish, what Darth Vader couldn't..."

Mega Man suddenly reappeared back inside The TARDIS, his suit returning to the famous blue colour. "Problem solved. The trooper drop ships have gone down." He said. "Bad news, the troopers still seem to be roaming around."

"Like, how can you be sure?" Shaggy asked.

"When I destroyed the drop ships, they were both empty" he replied.

"The scans still indicate that the troopers are around." Finn said. "We need to be careful."

Suddenly, an 8-bit ringtone sounded through the console room. Mega Man tapped the button on the front of his helmet. "Rock, receiving." He said.

"Mega Man! I have good news." The voice of Sonic suddenly said. "I'm back home! My home is safe!"

"Fantastic news, Sonic!" Mega Man replied.

"Get ready, Mega Man. Because I've got a little bit of context before I tell you what I know"

A few minutes earlier...

Sonic felt the sensation of teleportation exit his body. Still not being used to the amount of stress it places on his body, he collapsed onto the floor the second he returned to the mansion.

"Oh man..." He groaned. "I knew I should've kept some extra rings on me..." He slowly picked himself up off of the ground "It saves my poor body the stress of using the provided teleporter."

"S...Sonic?" A voice stuttered out. Sonic quickly turned his attention to the source of the voice.

"Tails! Oh thank god!" Sonic quickly exclaimed. Tails quickly flew over to Sonic. "The paths few months haven't been kind to me, huh buddy?"

"The only thing you need today is a rest." Tails said. "So much has happened for you, especially after wrapping up that fight against Infinite and Eggman's army."

"I can't yet, I need to speak with all of you." Sonic said, walking through the area of the mansion he found himself in, Tails flying by his side. "Round everyone up into the cafeteria area."

"I can't, they're back home." Tails replied.

Sonic stopped in his tracks, and looked at Tails. "T...They're home? Our planet is safe?!" he stammered out in shock.

"Somehow, everything just... reappeared." Tails began, everything was normal, and everyone was just laying on the ground." Tails rubbed the back of his head awkwardly. "I'm pretty sure your absence was the only thing that wasn't right."

"I don't get it..." Sonic thought aloud. "Why would our world just reappear?"

"The way it all just reappeared... it kinda felt like... the after effects of the Phantom Ruby." Tails said.

"But Infinite was confident in this being the worlds end..." Sonic pondered. "Why would he return everything back to normal?"

"Unfortunately, we may never know." Tails replied.

Sonic's communication device quickly pinged with a message from Knuckles. It seemed to be sent to everyone.

Knuckles: Everyone meet in the old resistance base. We need to discuss what we know so far.

Amy: On it!

Shadow: Understood.

Silver: I'll be there quickly.

Sonic: But I'll always be faster.

Within seconds, Sonic's message caused a massive flood of messages his way.

Amy: SONIC?!

Silver: Wait seriously?!

Knuckles: You survived?!

Sonic: There's a meeting, right? I'll explain what happened there.

Shadow: I'm impressed. You truly don't seem to die.

Sonic: Save that for when you can say that to my face, Shadow.

Sonic turned his attention back to Tails. "Back to the base we go, buddy." Sonic said. Tails pulled out a ring, and passed it to Sonic. Sonic promptly threw the ring, which opened up a portal into the old resistance base.

"Wait... you're with your friends now?" Mega Man questioned.

"Yeah. We just had an -albeit short- meeting about the worlds sudden return..." Sonic began. "And unfortunately couldn't find much. All we figured out was that it definitely a Phantom Ruby reset."

"Reset?" Mega Man asked.

"Yes." Sonic responded. "We were able to detect certain Phantom Ruby artefacts upon the worlds return."

"We?!" A deeper voice suddenly suddenly yelled. Mega Man recognised the voice the voice as belonging to Shadow The Hedgehog. "You saw none of those damn effects! You weren't even here."

Sonic sighed. "Shadow, I experienced the phantom ruby effects for myself, so I could confirm aspects that you guys brought up. Translation: We all agreed on this."

"Hmph! Good enough, I guess" Shadow responded.

"Still, unless you guys desperately need me..." Sonic began. "I'd rather stay home for now. I've got some restoration work to do back here."

"Understandable." Mega Man responded. "If I don't see you later, then I'll see you at some point in the mansion."

"Cool, cool. Later, Mega" Sonic responded, before hanging up.

The Doctor began to scan Mega Man with her Sonic Screwdriver.

"What are you doing?" Mega Man asked.

"Scanning your hardware, mostly to locate Sonic's location." The Doctor responded. "I'm gonna note down everyone's main locations. You've got skills, and I think we could make a good team."

Mario nodded at The Doctor. "I agree with that idea. Especially considering the kinds of threats today has proven could show up."

"Glad to know you're on board." The Doctor replied, inputting the results from the Sonic Screwdriver into the TARDIS console.

Mega Man walked up to The Doctor. "Allow me" He said, before quickly inputting another set of 3 coordinates. "That's for me, Mario's home, and The Super Smash Brothers Mansion. You'll find the three of us there most days."

"Thank you, Mega Man." The Doctor replied. "As for where we are now, The TARDIS has saved the location. So you guys can head back to where you need to go if you have no more questions."

Phoenix nodded. "Thank you, Doctor." He then turned to Athena, Trucy and Mystery Inc. "Bosses orders, head back home. Make sure you're all safe."

Everyone nodded, with Athena quickly throwing her hand up to The Doctor and Finn, waving, and bolting off home. "Bye guys, thanks for the info!"

"Sorry to like dash man, but I don't wanna run into stormtroopers." Shaggy said, as he quickly moved towards the door.

"That's understandable." Finn said. "Stay safe, you guys."

"Thanks." Fred responded. "To the Mystery Machine!" He exclaimed.

As if on cue, Everyone except for Mario, Mega Man, Phoenix and Trucy bolted out of the door.

"Alright, c'mon Truce." Phoenix said. "Let's get you home."

"Ok, Daddy!" Trucy responded. "Thank you for informing us." She said to the remaining group in the console room, as her and Phoenix left The TARDIS.

"As for-a me..." Mario began. "Whatever Mega Man does, I'm gonna assist him with that, before heading back to the mansion."

"I'm happy with that..." Mega Man said. "I'll need some help with dealing with those remaining troopers."

"Let'sa do this!" Mario said, still clad in his fire flower attire. The two then ran out of The TARDIS, in order to take out the remaining Stormtroopers.

"As for us Finn, What do you want to do?" The Doctor asked.

"If we're helping out this planet, I'd like to learn more about it. May we stay here and explore around?"

"Honestly, I'd love to do that." The Doctor replied. "Earth is an amazing planet, with many cultures, and some brilliant people!" The Doctor grabbed her large grey coat, and threw it on. "There's so much to show you, so let's get to it!"

The Doctor grabbed her Sonic Screwdriver, and placed it into her coat's inside pocket.

"Don't worry about The TARDIS, I can summon it via my Sonic Screwdriver. Plus, when this girl is locked, she's practically impossible to get into." The Doctor said, as her and Finn walked out of The TARDIS.

Athena made it back to her apartment block. She fortunately didn't run into Stormtroopers on her way back home, though she did sprint for a few miles. As the lift went up, she caught her breath.

"Man... Today was nuts..." She thought aloud.

The lift doors opened, and Athena walked out. However as she walked to her door, she caught notice of two teens moving in next door.

"New neighbors, huh?" She thought aloud, as she entered her apartment. "Maybe I'll introduce myself. They seem kinda young, I'd be happy to help them."

Little did Athena know, those 2 teens would become important to not only her, but Phoenix and Trucy too.
