Sorry to do this right before the Chapter begins. But I have not been motivated to post more. I originally went into this as a way to flush in some creativity because I have major writers block right now. This was merely supposed to be some sort of exercise for me. I never thought anyone would read it, and now I have over 100 viewers. Which is insane for me. I cannot express how grateful I am for this. It blows my mind. I know the 'Consummation' was possibly a let down, however, writing "those" scenes can be a bit tricky for me. I wont say why. But please bear with me I will try my best to spice it up. However, I don't know if you guys want me to continue the series or leave it as is. If you do, this chapter is a little sneak peak of what is to come. If you could please spare a moment to write a review and let me know it would be very helpful. Even though it is not the best, I hope you all are enjoying the story so far! Xx.

Chapter 7:

Bash and I make our way out of the carriage from our one-week stay at a chateau in Paris. One Bash was not too fond of. We planned to go away longer, but fate had other plans. We make our way into the throne room, Catherine waiting for us. Bash walks to her, says his hello, and walks into the throne room. I take ahold of Catherine's arm and she pulls me to the side. "What's happened?" I ask.

"I appreciate your concern for me and my family, Mary. But I could not wait for your brilliant plan. Henry wanted me executed this morning." she says. My mouth hangs open in shock. Has he gone mad? "Catherine what did you do?" I shriek. Maybe a little too loud. She takes my hand and pulls me down a hallway, glancing around for anyone. I join, ensuring our confidentiality. "I strangled her," she says. I raise an eyebrow. "Be more specific. You kill a lot of people." I say. I wait with bated breath. "Diane. I strangled Diane," she says. I stand there in utter shock. Dead. Bash's mother is dead.

"H-"

"At first I grabbed one of those fire pokers in her new room. Which is and still is my room and she already started decorating it terribly, might I add." she starts. I cock my head, just wanting her to continue. "Anyways, I grabbed that and hit her in the head to begin."

"Why? Why Catherine why?!" I say. Why would she murder her, and murder her slowly? Why not her specialty: poison? "I found out something. While you were gone, Claude came home. My poor daughter had come to save me. She made me realize something while she was here. How cold I am towards her because I believed she murdered her twin sisters at birth." I remember her telling me the story. Little Joan died at birth. And Victoria, the window was left open and she got cold and died. "I believed it was Claude. Until I saw how Diane was treating my children. How she wished to have them cast away. And then she made a comment about Victoria and how she got a peaceful end, and that is when I knew. I talked to Claude after. We shared a moment and she assured me she did not murder her sister." I take a second, turning my back for a moment at the horror I just heard. "Does Bash know?" I ask. Catherine shakes her head immediately. "I may not like him, but Bash loves his siblings. He proved that fully when he stood up for Francis on your wedding night."

Catherine takes a step back, looking out a small window into the gardens. "You said you strangled her. How?" I ask. Catherine starts to laugh a bit to herself. "She was so close to taking my place. So close. So I fought her to the ground. I grabbed her necklace, the necklace Henry just gave her. A queen's necklace. And strangled her with that." While Diane was not horrible to me: this is unforgivable. "I must tell Bash," I say.

"No! You must never tell Bash he will kill me!" she says. She is right. "I won't tell him it was you," I say. She starts to thank me, but I am not done. "But from this day on you are not to harm Bash or I. In exchange not only will Bash not know it was you, but we will do everything we can to keep you and your children alive." I say. I have a plan.

"And I know just what to do."
