Chapter 7: Love gone wrong
I was peacefully sleeping when I heard a voice calling my name. I woke up. "Lana! Lana, wake up! wake up, I just heard the news, congratulations! Kiddo we did it!" Scuttle cried as he was shaking my hand. Sebastion who walked into my room,
looked annoyed. "What is this idiot, babbling about again?" Sebastion said. "Right, as if she didn't know. you already know since I told Ariel already. The whole town is buzzing about the princess getting herself hitched this afternoon.
you know, she's getting married! so is the prince. you silly side-walker. I just wanted to wish ya luck, I'll catch ya later, I wouldn't miss it!" Scuttle said. he then flew out the window. I was confused as to what Scuttle meant and I couldn't ask because I,
couldn't talk. I then realized that the prince and the princess wanted to marry Ariel and me. I smiled and I quickly got out of bed. I held up Sebastion and I gave him a kiss.
I quickly checked the mirror to make sure my hair looked good. after I did that, I quickly ran down the stairs and I met up with Ariel where we heard Gimpsey speaking to,
Eric and Selena. It looked like they were with two other people. I wondered who they were. "well now Eric, Selena. It appears, that I was mistaken. this mysterious maiden,
of yours, does in fact exist. and she is lovely" Gimpsey said. Ariel and I looked to see two girls standing next to Eric and Selena. I was in complete shock. so was Ariel.
"Congratulations my dear" Gimpsey said. "We all wish to be married as soon as possible" Eric said. my eyes widened with more shock. silent tears were streaming down my,
face. "Oh yes of course Eric. but uh, these things do take time ya know" Gimpsey said. "this afternoon, Gimpsey. this wedding ship departs at sunset" Gimpsey said. Ariel,
looked like she was about to have a panic attack. "Oh. oh. well, Eric, Selena uh, as you wish" Gimpsey said. Ariel ran away, with tears streaming down her face. I ran after her.
later in the day, it is nearing sunset. the skies are orange and yellow. Ariel and I were at the docs as the ship took off with all the people, Eric, and Selena, and their new,
brides. Ariel slumped down sadly as the ship left. Ariel was sobbing. I too had some tears down my face. we would for sure belong to Ursula if we did not get Eric and Selena to give us a true love's kiss by the end of the night tonight. Ariel and I,
were sitting with Flounder and Sebastion. after a while Scuttle flew up to us franticly. "Ariel! Lana! I was flying, of course, I was flying. and... I saw the watch, the witch...was watching us in the mirror. and she was singing with a,
stolen set of pipes. do you hear what I am saying?!" Scuttke yelled as he picked up Sebastion. I was confused as to what he was saying. Scuttle then was banging Sebastion on the ground. "The prince and the princess are marrying the sea witch in,
diqscuse!" Scuttle yelled. I was in shock. so Ursula is marrying prince Eric and princess Selena in disguise as another person, and Ursula has probably made a copie of another,
person. "Are you sure about this?" Sebastion said who was recovering from being slammed on the ground. "Have I ever been wrong? I mean, when it's important?" Scuttle said.
"What are we going to do?" Flounder said with worry. we then heard Ursula's voice's in our heads. "before the sun sets on the third day" Ursula's voice said in our head.
I panicked for a minute. Ariel and I then jumped into the water. Sebastion then cut ropes off from the barrels. the barrels went into the water. "Ariel, Lana, grabbed onto,
that" Sebastion said. Ariel and I quickly grabbed onto a barrel. "Flounder, get them onto the boat as fast as your fins can carry you" Flounder said. "I will try!" Flounder said.
Flounder then grabbed the ropes and quickly swam across the ocean. Flounder kept swimming and swimming as Ariel and I kept holding onto the barrels. Ariel and I then,
finally got to the boat. when we got onto the boat Ariel helped me climbed onto boat. when we were able to get onto the boat, we saw the boat being attacked. after a while,
a couple of golden pieces fell on the ground and sparkles were floating around us. we heard our voices. when the golden sparkles went into our body Ariel and I were singing.
we had our voices back. "Eric" Ariel said. I smiled and looked at Selena. "Selena" I said. "Ariel? You can talk?" Eric said with shock. "Lana, you can talk too?" Selena said.
"Yes I can talk now" I said with a smile. Max, Eric's dog ran up to us and was barking happily. "Your the one" Eric said. "Your the one too" Selena said as we walked up to them. "Eric, Selena, get away from them!" Ursula yelled. "Selena get away from her!
your mine!" The other woman yelled. "It was you the whole time, your the one I have been looking for" Selena said with a smile. "It is me" I said. "Ariel, it was you all the time" Eric said. "Eric, I wanted to tell you" Ariel said.
"I want to tell you to Selena" I said. Ariel and I felt sharp pains in our legs. "Eric, no!" Ursula yelled. I saw the sunset. Ariel and I were done for now. I noticed we had our mermaid tails back. oh no. "You are too late!" Ursula yelled. Ursula,
then turned into her original form and crawled towards us. Ursula laughed evilly as she grabbed us by the arms. "Let me go!" I shouted. "So long lover boy and girl!" Ursula,
shouted. Ursula held me by her tentacles and she grabbed Ariel by her arm and swam into the ocean. "Poor little princesses. it's not you I am after. I'm a much bigger fish,
to..." Ursula said as she was dragging us deeper and deeper into the ocean. "Ursula stop!" A voice yelled. I turned and saw king Triton and Sebastion blocking our way.
Ursula had an evil chuckle. "Why king Triton? How are you?" Ursula said. "Let them go!" King Triton said as he pointed his weapon at Ursula. Ursula refused to let us go.
"Not a chance Triton! they are mine now! we have made a deal" Ursula said.
