Heavy Artillery was firing from rudimentary trenches dug days prior, all the while anti air guns with quick timers blew up any wyverns caught in their fire. Foot soldiers tried to block explosions from artillery with their shields but to no avail.

In a camp the remaining kings of the allied kingdoms were discussing what to do now.

"We brought over 100,000 troops but a quarter of them are already gone. How can this be happening?" A king asked himself and the other generals.

"What is the Imperial Army doing and why aren't they here?" Another king asked.

Another king responds "Even the Imperial Army is no match for this opponent falling back might be the only option left!" The king said.

A king with an eye patch then responded "Retreat is not an option, gentlemen," The king said while looking at another king's helmet he scavenged from the first attempted attack.

"What?" Another king responds.

"For the realm we must strike back!" The king responded.

"Lord Duran, we have neither the men nor the materials!" One of the kings said.

Then the king known as Lord Duran responded "A night raid might give us the advantage," Lord Duran said

Later that night

An army made up of what remains of the allied kingdoms armies. Lord Duran was explaining his plan to his aides while looking over his army.

"The new moon is tonight. If we take advantage of the dark and come in from the side of the hill blotting out the stars. We should be able to make our approach," Lord Duran said.

In another part of the army a commander was ordering his troops.

"Do not shuffle about man! Pick up your feet, be quiet!" Then they stopped.

'Why are we stopping!" the commander asked. The Allied kingdoms army was 3 quarters away from the army that was occupying Alnus hill when someone reports a box in the middle of the path they were taking

"There's a box in front of our path!" the soldier he was asking. Then lightning struck in front of the army. A large explosion occurred incinerating what ever unsuspecting foe that was in its blast radius.

To the men on the hill they saw the colossal titan destroying the invading army. To the allied kingdoms army it's as if the gods decided to side with the barbarians that attacked the imperial army.

"What the-" that was all that King duran could get in before getting caught in the explosion and dying.

Whatever remained of the 75,000 troops would die from infection or go to banditry.

Titan shifters used, Colossal Titans explosion.

Armin exited out of his Colossal titan and looked around him. The devastation that the god of destruction, what the Marleyans called the colossal titan really is a god of destruction. Even by other nations standards. When it kicked Wall Maria down, we had no way to counter it as we didn't know if outside forces had a play in this, but now that we control the titan now we don't have to worry about Marley invading for a while.

He used his ODM gear like a crane to slow his fall. When he reached the bottom the colossal titan was already disintegrating with its rib cage already visible.

Armin walked back to the trenches everybody was busy setting up more defenses and gathering samples from the flying lizards for testing back home and Hizuru. He was exhausted so he went into his assigned tent which was quickly set up by the other scouts. He took off his gear, placed it next to his cot then changed into appropriate night clothes and plopped down on the cot in his tent. No one distured him that night.

The next morning he awoke to the smell of Marleyan Cuisine "They seriously brough nicolo in here I don't exactly blame them but…" he said to himself, then Eren came into his tent.

"Hey Armin breakfast is ready you must be hungry. Nicolo decided we should celebrate this victory with breakfast because you went straight to bed after the battle," Eren said while lightly tapping his shoulder.

"Right, right I'm getting up. Just give me a minute," he said to eren.

"Alright you better get ready fast before Sasha eats all the meat,"

Armin got out of his bed, he put on his scout uniform, the night before he had his night uniform on. But his uniform he wore during the training years and during his time in the scouts back when we thought we were the last remnants of humanity. He put on his boots, his gear wouldn't be needed right now but he took with him any ways just to be safe like there's another attack by the enemy. He exited the tent there was a nice morning dew, which sort of reminded him of his training years back then.

When he arrived where Nicolo was surviving breakfast, Levi and Hange squad Yelena and Onyakopon were there as well helping to serve breakfast.

"Oh there's the colossal titan!" said yelena while placing down a plate.

"Oh hey Armin you didn't come to the feast last night!" Nicolo said.

"Sorry, it was rude for me not to come eat your food. I was just a little after using my titan powers twice in under 3 days," Armin said.

"It's nothing really, we don't want you passing out during the feast," Nicolo said.

Armin sat down then Yekena placed a plate in front of him. Was it simply just some biscuits with eggs and white stuff?

"Nicolo what's this white stuff?" Armin asked.

"That white stuff it's something called gravy, it's a type of sauce," Nicolo answered his question without hesitation.

"Oh," he then proceeded to eat the food on his plate. It was really good. "Thank you Nicolo for the food, it's good," Armin said.

This caught Nicolo off guard for a minute but he returned it "Your welcome,"

Armin spent the rest of the morning helping plan an expedition with maps gathered from the enemies camp to explore. It was agreed to use Commander Erwin's Long range scouting formation.

Commander Hange called a meeting. It was held between Garrison, Survey Corp, and military police soldier Infantry Corps were needed elsewhere so the elite of the military was called in they will prepare for an expedition known as the 59th Expedition Outside the Walls Although the reasons for this Expedition was simple. Make contact with the locals and exploration.

"Using Former Commander Erwin Smith's Long range scouting formation with the usage of wireless radio, imported from Hizuru," Commander Hange said she took a breath then continued "We will go to the city of Italica while on the Expedition we will make contact with the locals to form relationships. If you come across a village immediately report it with a flare or via radio. We will set out one week from now," She said. When she got off the pedestal stool she took a sigh.

'Why me commander Erwin?' she thought to herself.
