"I'm sure he's dead, Dad," A voice called out. Harry didn't move, his magic flourishing for the first time as he tried desperately to find something out. He was physically fine, his magic was telling him. The large whole in his chest was gone, and he wasn't dead as he had believed. He internally cursed. While he had been looking forward to the prospective life with Peggy that presented itself moments before he boarded the plane, he was actually looking forward to dying. He had been alive for so long, and he looked forward to the sweet release of death. "God, kill me now," Harry spoke through gritted teeth, earning gasps and chuckling in return. Harry slowly opened his eyes, and found four people watching him. One he recognized immediately. "Howard,"

"You're alive," The much older Howard Stark spoke with a smile, emotion leaking from his voice. "They all thought you were dead. But Peggy and I...we knew you of all people would have lived through something like that," Howard explained. Harry frowned, shaking his head as he tried to clear the onslaught of questions and comments he wanted to make in the span of a second. Sensing the main question he wanted to ask, Howard spoke. "You were shot by Red Skull. The gun would have normally vaporized the person it hit, but your body - with your magic and the serum - kept the vapor from eating your entire body. Though it did hit your heart. You died,"

"Well, I've been known to get out of Death's grasp quite easily. One of the shitty aspects of my life," Harry replied, sitting up as he leaned back against what he assumed was Howard's couch. "What year is it? Where's Peggy? Did Steve make it?" Harry asked in quick succession. "And how did you get me out?" He added. Howard smiled, pulling up a chair as he took a seat in front of Harry. The woman to Howard's side grabbed his shoulder, a smile on her face. There was a young man to her left that resembled Howard, most likely his son. And a man to Howard's right wearing a suit. He was very confused.

"It's 1991. You were in the ice for almost forty-six years. I was tracking the Tesseract's energy signature and found two. The Tesseract itself...and you. And it wasn't your magic. You had traces of the Tesseract in you," Howard explained.

"That make sense. Steve sent Red Skull flying into the machine holding the Tesseract while I was dying. It shorted out and the Tesseract fell out. It's energy went everywhere. It's possible my magic took some of it to increase its power," Harry replied.

"That would explain a lot. As for Steve and Peggy...well. Steve was in the same ship you were, but you seemed misplace - I assume by your magic - and I haven't found him. You remained alive in both death and the ice because of your magic and the serum. We think that if Steve hadn't died, he may be frozen in the ice somewhere, ready to be woken up," Howard said. "And Peggy, she's alive. She's currently working at SHIELD, an organization she and I founded way back when. I'm sure she'll be ecstatic to see you again,"

"I...don't know if that's wise," Harry spoke.

"What...you don't want to see her?" Howard asked, confused.

"I want to see her more than anything. But...well...does she have a husband? Kids? I don't want to intrude on her life by coming back to it," Harry explained. Howards grinned brightly, getting to his feet as he motioned for Harry to do the same. Harry indeed got to his feet, nodding to the three other people in the room. "This is my wife Maria. Our son Tony. And my life-long friend Edwin Jarvis," Howard spoke. Harry nodded, bowing respectively to Maria - who smiled warmly - before shaking both Tony and Jarvis' hands. Tony seemed...annoyed. And Jarvis seemed stoic, as if thinking. Deciding not to worry about it, he followed Howard up the stairs and into what looked like Howard's office, where Harry was met with an assortment of pictures and paintings. One was of Peggy. "She never married. She knew you were alive and was willing to wait until we found you to have her future with you,"

"She gave up her future in the off-chance I survived? Steve told her I was dead. I heard it," Harry spoke.

"You'd 'died' several times during the war, taking bullets to the lung in battle. You'd healed every time after that. She was sure your magic had saved you, and she was partially correct," Howard replied. "Speaking of magic...do you know where Steve is? If he's alive?" Harry frowned, closing his eyes as his fingers began to twitch. He shook his head. "I can't feel him with my magic. His life essence is either greatly masked...or he's gone," He said sadly.

"Well...I...then..." Howard droned off, his mood greatly torn by this development. "I need to go think. If you want to find Peggy, you'll find her -"

"At the Triskelion," Harry replied with a smile. "I can feel her even now," He added. Howard nodded, falling into his seat as he looked towards the corner, where an old war-poster of Captain America was located. Harry silently moved out of the office, letting Howard think as he moved downstairs, where Maria, Tony, and Jarvis were speaking quietly. "I'm sorry to have intruded, but I have somewhere to be. Thank you for...letting me come back to life in your home, Mrs. Stark. I hope to see you three again," With a curt nod, he disappeared in a burst of flames, shocking the three. Tony had heard his dad's stories of the Master of Death, but had thought they were made up like the comics of Captain America. But to see the Master of Death - Harry - disappear in a burst of flames. That was...odd.

October 31st, 1991 ~ Multiverse ~ Sector 31.199999-C ~ SHIELD Triskelion, Washington D.C

Harry flamed outside of the SHIELD Triskelion, his eyes falling on the building that was currently occupied by Peggy Carter, one of the founders of SHIELD. He still wasn't sure if he was dreaming or not, but he didn't care. His legs carried him up the front steps and into the front doors. He was seemingly invisible as he stepped into the elevator, pressing '16' on instinct. Harry could sense he with his magic, which seemed to gravitate out in several directions. He knew that wasn't exactly normal, but he didn't care. He just needed to see Peggy.

The elevator door opened, opening into a large room with a semi-circle desk that held nine chairs. In one of those chairs was Peggy Carter, silently looking over a random file. Harry stepped out of the elevator as it closed, watching her as a smile crossed over his face. She was the same woman, only older, her age showing in wrinkly skin and greying hair, though said hair was still mostly black. She wore beaded earrings, a beaded necklace, and was wearing a black sweater and a black skirt. Harry's smile faltered for a moment. She was seventy, and he was twenty-one. She was old enough to be his grandmother and yet when he looked at her he still remembered the twenty-four year old woman he left behind in the forties.

Something in his heart told him not to worry, and his magic was telling him the same thing. He shook his head, deciding to worry about the age gap later. He was about to speak when she did. "I thought you were on vacation, Howard,"

"Howard's taking some time to think," Harry replied with a grin. At his voice, Peggy's head shot up, her eyes falling on him as they widened. His grin never left as he moved forward. Peggy got to her feet, dropping her pen as she slowly moved around the table. She examined him thoroughly, taking in every detail of his appearance to ensure he wasn't a spy for HYDRA or even someone playing a prank on her. "A five second increase is nothing to be sad about, I guess," Harry spoke, reciting the words he had told her during their training at Camp Lehigh. They had been alone during those sessions. No one would have known those words. Peggy seemed to realized this two as she rushed forward, pulling him into an embrace that he returned.

"How long have you been back? Howard found you? Are you ok? Are you a ghost?" Peggy asked in succession, producing a chuckle from Harry.

"Howard found me a few days ago in the ice in the Arctic and brought me to his home. He thawed me out and I woke up about five minutes ago. I needed to see you," Harry replied. "And I'm not a ghost," He added with a grin.

"I've waited for so long," Peggy spoke.

"I know...and I'm sorry for making your wait longer than it should have been," Harry replied. Peggy nodded, tears forming in his eyes as she grabbed his collar, pulling him down as the two kissed. Harry's magic lurched out, surrounding Peggy as the kiss deepened. He could feel her lips change, her waist shrinking slightly beneath his grip as he pulled her closer, relishing in the moment as his control over his magic became nonexistent. Harry pulled away, the two resting their foreheads against the others. When he finally opened his eyes, Harry backed away in shock, causing Peggy to look down at herself questioningly. She was...she was young again. "What? What's wrong?" Peggy asked, clearly saddened at the separation.

"You're...I didn't mean to...my magic, I think it..." He was at a loss for words, so he decided to show her. He conjured a mirror, holding it out to Peggy, who took it. She was twenty-four again. Just like he had seen her when he left. Her eyes widened, her hand reaching up to feel her youthful face. "My magic...I think it was strengthened by the Tesseract. More so than ever. My magical shield is gone and its unstable. I think it knew we wanted a future together...and made it happen," Harry explained. Peggy was still at a loss for words, examining herself over and over to ensure it wasn't some sort of temporary device or accident. "I can try to undo it," Harry spoke, reaching his magic out towards her.

"No," Peggy replied suddenly, causing Harry to blink. "Don't. I want this. Us. I've waited a long time for us to be together and your magic's made it possible. So don't..." Harry smiled, lowering his hand as he moved forward. This time, he instigated things as he grabbed her by the waist, pulling her flush against him as he leaned down, kissing her just as fiercely as she had kissed him. He wanted the moment to last forever, and had to keep his magic in check to ensure that didn't happen. With a smile, he pulled away. He could get used to this.

July 11th, 1995 ~ Multiverse ~ Sector 31.199999-D ~ Potter Incorporated Headquarters

Captain Marvel

Harry Potter sat within his office in the Potter Incorporated Headquarters. After the death of Howard Stark four years later, and the reveal of Hugh Jones' involvement with HYDRA, Potter Incorporated had acquired Roxxon Corporation while parting ways with Stark Industries. The two companies had split Roxxon's assets, with Harry taking the lead with Potter Incorporated and Obadiah Stane taking the lead with Stark Industries. He didn't necessarily like Stane, and wasn't to keen on the prospect of working with the man. And so, Potter Incorporated went solo once more, working to improve the already improved future. The company was looking good, with a net worth of over $741 billion. Companies all over the world bought his products in bulk, citizens in almost every country owned his products, and it was safe to say he was one of the richest people on the planet. His childrenx100 would be fine to be jobless and happy.

He and Peggy had been together for four years, and Harry was ready to take the next step. He had a ring ready, and was only waiting for the right moment to 'Pop the question'. The both of them hadn't aged a day in the past four years, confirming his suspicions regarding his magical core. The two were connected through his magic, and given how he was immortal due to his human-phoenix magical core, he was sure she technically was too. If not immortal than she would have a long lifespan. The Tesseract had done two things to him. One; it had torn down the shield around his magical core, releasing the pent up magical abilities that had since suppressed. After what had happened with Peggy, he learned the magical shield would not return or grow back, and had been trying to learn how to control his magical core. This seemed to be much easier when he wasn't using his deathly powers, something he long since accepted. And two; it had fused with his serumized blood to create something new.

The 'something new' was named 'Vita', a blue a yellow energy that coursed around him whenever he channeled it like his magic. It gave him several different abilities that he considered to be uniquely powerful when combined. He was concerned a bit given his past with extreme supernatural powers, but he was remaining vigilant with the help of Peggy. After some time, he had learned to fly with the Vita, as well as use his magic to create a Vita-aura around his body, protecting him from most things. He had gotten a reluctant Peggy to shoot him a few times, the bullets suddenly stopping within the aura before dropping to the ground. The two were effective, letting him fly straight through buildings and planes untouched. He had tested that theory by going to an abandoned city in the middle east. It had worked like a charm.

After completely giving up on his Death powers - given how he had his past self's memories and he was already mostly disconnected from them anyway - Harry had begun to pick up different forms of magic as well as learning how to use his new Vita. Aside from touching up on his own magic, he began to learn Eldritch Magic, some forms of Asgardian Magic, Dark Dimension Magic, and had even begun to dabble in a bit of Chaos Magic. The latter two had been a bit of a controversial decision between him and Peggy, as well as him and the Sorceress Supreme the Ancient One, who had hypocritically labeled him an enemy for his usage of the Dark Dimension. His Death abilities let him use it without corruption, and was a notable source of defense. He and Peggy had gotten past it, with her acknowledging that his connection to Death - something he had told her about upon waking up from the ice - helped him control it.

"Mr. Potter?" Harry raised his head from his work, his gaze falling on his assistant, who was poking her head through the door. "We have a visitor here who is refusing to make an appointment and wishes to see you immediately," Harry nodded, motioning for her to let them through. Jenny opened the door wider, revealing two individuals. An African-American man wearing a suit and a Caucasian woman wearing...a blue, red, and gold outfit. Jenny led the two in, before shutting the door, leaving Harry and the two individuals alone. "Well...I'm surprised to find Nicholas Fury in my office alongside...Ms. Danvers,"

"Carol," Danvers corrected.

"Carol then. You can call me Harry. Please, take a seat," He motioned to the two seats in front of his desk. Once the two were seated, he leaned back in his chair. "I was working on my taxes, so I appreciate the interruption. How can I help a SHIELD agent and an alien-pilot?" Harry asked. Fury and Carol exchanged a glance, before turning back to Harry.

"We need your help," Carol spoke.

"That much I expected. Now what do you need? I'm reasonable, so if it's anything but world-domination I'm willing to work," Harry replied.

"I need a place for a civilization to live in peace for as long as possible," Fury spoke. Harry examined the man. He had a black eye-patch covering his eye, a wound that seemed new. Harry grinned, leaning forward as his gaze fell on Carol, who seemed to shrink slightly at the sudden attention. She was beautiful, blonde hair, brown eyes, and a figure that almost put Lorraine from back in the war to shame. He sighed, rubbing his as he looked down at the tax papers in front of him. "Look. I'll be honest with you. I know who you both are, and I know who you're helping. My problem is that what your asking of me isn't simple or easy. It'll come at a cost and when its done, you might not like it,"

"Fury told me about you. How could you possibly need more money?" Carol asked.

"Money? No, that's not the price. I need a favor. A big favor," Harry replied. "What I need is something you have, and I'm sure you'd be able to relinquish it to me. I need the Flerken,"

"Goose? No. No deal," Fury replied.

"Then you can look somewhere else. I won't help you," Harry replied, picking up his pen once more as he turned back to his taxes.

"Why do you want Goose?" Carol questioned.

"He's the key to interior expansion. If I can get my hands on that Flerken I can change the world of storage. The entirety of a castle held within a cube. If you give me the Flerken, I'll give him back to you unharmed in a few weeks. In return, I'll give the Skrull's a new home, free of contact from anyone other than myself. No Kree. No Humans. Peace and prosperity," Harry explained.

"And where is this place?" Fury asked.

"That's for me to know, Fury. Now will you take the deal or not? Because my taxes need to be filled by 5 and its 3. I've been putting it off for far too long," Harry replied.

"We'll give him to you," Carol agreed, earning a glare from Fury, who wasn't so keen on giving up his new friend to Harry. "When do you want to meet?"

"Well...I'm done with this," He snapped his fingers, the documents disappearing in thin air as Harry got to his feet. "If you would kindly take me to the Skrull's location, I will take them to the destination I have in mind. Once we are there and they are set up nicely, you will give me the Flerken. Deal?" The two nodded, agreeing as Harry moved around his desk and towards the door. He moved through said door, moving out into the hallway as Fury and Carol rushed to follow suit. Harry walked into his armory, finding a small square room with a single tablet within the wall. "What the hell is in here?" Fury asked, he and Carol clearly uncomfortable in the tight space they were being placed in.

"Watch," Harry replied. He tapped the number '9' on the tablet - the last number - and watched as a small hole opened up in the wall. He stuck his hand into it, tapping another button on tablet as the wall to the left slid open to reveal a black shield with the Deathly Hallows symbol in the center as well as a silver axe. A spread of black nanites spread from his hand and up his arm, moving up his shoulder and neck and across his torso. Before long his entire body was covered by a skin-tight black suit made of Vibranium gel-leather as well as Vibranium armor. There were red LED's on his shoulders and on his torso, a silver belt on his waist and a silver gauntlet on his left forearm.

He held out his hand, the magnet on his left arm going to work as the shield on the wall spun around before attaching to his arm. Harry threw it onto his back, before summoning his axe to hand. His shield had been lost in the Valkyrie, forcing him to make a new one. And given the enchantment on his axe, he was able to summon that back with ease, recoloring it for any situation. This called for a match to his suit. "You're the Master of Death," Fury concluded, his eye wide as he examined Harry. "It makes sense,"

"Yes, yes. Because I didn't wear a mask and we both disappeared at the same time. Wasn't supposed to be a secret Fury," Harry replied, annoyed by the man. He turned towards the door, pushing passed the two as he moved back into the hallway. Walking through the top floor of his building, he stepped through a door leading to a balcony. He carelessly tossed his axe into the air, sending it flying forward, never losing speed as it moved out of view. "Isn't that...dangerous?" Carol asked, watching the axe fly into the distance.

"No," Harry replied simply. He turned around, grabbing both Fury and Carol before bursting into flames, the two following suit as they suddenly reappeared in the middle of the desert. "Motherfucker!" Fury shouted, falling onto his ass as he began to hyperventilate. Carol seemed dazed and a bit confused, but was otherwise fine. "Good. I'm glad one of you has some sense of direction,"

"I got it from my mother," Carol replied with a smile.

"I got it with time," Harry said with a grin.

"Where the hell are we?" Fury asked.

"We're in the Sahara Desert,"

"Why?"

"Because this is the location," Harry replied.

"You want the Skrull's to live here?" Carol asked, disappointed.

"No. Not here," Harry held out his hand, slowly turning it to the left before pulling back. With a snap, a small doorway appeared in front of them. "There," Harry added, motioning to the door. "It's a doorway to Maveth, where they will live,"

"Maveth...Maveth...I've heard of that. Isn't that planet dead?" Carol questioned.

"It was before I got there," Harry answered simply, opening the door to reveal a beautiful forest, backed by an amazing skyline that featured two moons and a handful of visible stars. Harry stopped them from entering, shaking his head. "Once you step through that door, you won't feel so good," Harry spoke. "Now, tell the Skrull's to get here. I'll handle the rest," Carol nodded, a yellowish aura surrounding her as she shot into the air. Harry watched her go, eyebrow raised.

"She's something isn't she?" Fury asked, looking up as Carol ascended through the atmosphere.

"She has Vita," Harry commented.

"Vita?"

"Something I was given when I died in '45. The Tesseract exploded with energy, interacting with my serumized blood to give me powers," Harry charged up his own silver aura. It matched Carol's, the only difference being the color. Fury nodded, examining the aura which suddenly disappeared as Harry de-charged. "Six years ago she was working as a test pilot for a runaway Kree named Mar-Vel. They were working on a -"

"Lightspeed engine with P.E.G.A.S.U.S. Yes, I know. I assume Carol was the missing test subject?"

"Yes, she was. She was shot down by 'Yon-Rogg', a Kree soldier. She was intercepted by both Rogg and a Skrull. Rogg wanted the engine to kill the Skrull's and the Skrull's wanted it to escape the Kree's grasp and get somewhere safe. Carol was unaware of their reasons for wanting the engine, but decided to fire on it to ensure neither got it. The engine blew up, releasing an energy pulse that gave her this so-called 'Vita'. She's had it ever since," Fury explained. "So...do you know how to use it? While she's adequate at flying and shooting but she can use a bit of training. I only say that because I've seen her drop a few feet while flying a few times. She doesn't know how to control it,"

"I've been using it for about four years now, and have gotten used to a lot of the different aspect's of Vita, and while I haven't mastered everything, I can teach her a few things," Harry replied. "If she want's me to that is,"

"What are you two talking about?" Carol asked, descending to the ground as a silver ship descended above her.

"Potter's willing to teach you a few things. He has your powers," Fury replied. Carol narrowed her eyes at Harry, who grinned as he charged up, his silver aura surrounding his body as her eyes widened. "He says if you're willing that is," Fury added.

"What's the catch?" Carol asked.

"No catch. I only wanted Goose for this exchange. The training would be free," Harry replied truthfully. Carol watched him for a moment, before she agreed. Harry smiled, happy with the development as he sent a shrinking charm at the Skrull ship, which shrunk to the size of a fist. He summoned it to hand, holding it gently as he moved towards the door. He stepped through, closing it behind him, leaving Carol and Fury confused on what to do. When he exited the doorway, he waved his hand, watching as it disappeared before muttering a sentence under his breath. Carol and Fury blinked, utterly confused. "Why are we in the desert?" Fury asked.

"Just wanted a place to discuss training Carol here. Remember?" Harry asked with an innocent smile. God the Fidelius was useful. The Skrull's didn't exist to anyone but him, lost from memory for as long as the alien race needed. Maveth was forgotten too, ensuring SHIELD didn't find their way there in the future. Harry charged himself once again shooting off from the sand as Carol grinned, shooting off after him as Harry rotated his hand in a circle, opening a portal for Fury, who frowned before stepping through. "First lesson, Carol. Catch me if you can," With that, he took off at the speed of sound in a trail of silver, easily outpacing Carol, who struggled to keep up. This would be fun.
