Luz was skipping her way to the food court, while Amity was looking at her.
"Hey, Luz, I have a question. You said you dyed your hair and your parents got mad. Does that mean that orange streak isn't dyed?"
Luz looked at her and ran her fingers over her orange streak.
"Nope. It's all natural." Luz said, "But I have to admit, I looked good with dyed hair."
Before Amity could say anything else, Luz pulled her to the nearest table in the food court.
"So, what's the Human Realm like? Do you really have these creatures that help you travel? Is it true that-"
"Luz, one question at a time." Amity said.
"Sorry, I was just curious. I never get to go to the Human Realm with my mom."
"So, your family owns the mall?" Amity asked.
"Yeah, it all started when my mom opened a small Human Treasures stand in the market, she still has it, that's where you three met my mom. That little business grew and they eventually opened this. It's where my parents made their fortune until my mom became the Leader of the Healing Coven, that's when our fortune grew exponentially."
"And your aunt is the Empress?"
"Emperor. Typically the Emperor is the one with the relation to the throne, regardless of if they're a man or woman. If a female is the Emperor and marries a man, then the man is seen as Prince. If a man is the Emperor and they marry a female, then the female is the Empress and the male stays as the Emperor."
"Oh, so it's like a documentary I watched about Queen Victoria from England, she married Prince Albert and he remained a Prince, not a King." Amity said.
"I have no idea who they are, or what an... England is, but yeah, kinda like that." Luz said.
"So, does she have a child that will take the throne after her?"
"Well, yes and no. She has a daughter, but my cousin doesn't feel like she'll ever be able to handle the power and authority that comes with the title of Emperor." Luz said, "She has said on multiple occasions that she's fine just being Princess- Oh my Titan! I didn't know she was here!"
Luz got up and ran over to a table where two girls were sitting. At the table, a girl with dark hair and glassed tapped the other girl's nose.
"I love you."
The other girl smiled and tapped the dark haired girls' nose.
"No, I love you."
They learned in for a kiss that was interrupted by Luz.
"Hi! Sorry, Willow, but I need to talk to my cousin! Come on Trips, I want you to meet someone!"
Luz pulled Trips with her, much to the girl's annoyance.
"I was on a romantic date and you pull me away so I can meet someone!?"
"That's right, Trips."
"Stop calling me that!"
Trips, as Luz calls her, does really care about Luz, they're family after all, but she gets easily annoyed at the girl's ability to pull her away from Willow without warning. That and the fact that Luz won't stop calling her by that ridiculous nickname. Luz pulled her over to Amity and introduced each other.
"Anyway, Amity, this is my cousin, Trips." Luz said.
Trips facepalmed and let out a small growl.
"You fall down the stairs one time..." Trips mumbled loudly, "Luz, you know my name and my title. Just call me by my name or call me Princess."
"Fine, Amity, this is my cousin, Princess Boscha Clawthorne. My cousin." Luz said, "Boscha, this is my new... friend, Amity."
Boscha looked at the Human and she instantly started to look nervous. She avoided eye contact with Amity and walked back to Willow without looking saying a word. Willow took Boscha's hand and led her to another part of the mall. Luz looked at Amity and sat down.
"S-s-she's pretty nice when you get to know her." Luz said, "I'm sure she's just shy."
Amity looked at the direction Boscha and Willow went. She wasn't sure if it was her being shy.
"So, you two... look nothing alike." Amity said.
"She's adopted." Luz said.
Amity knew there was something Luz was hiding from her.
